We run a farm stay where our guests enjoy feeding our animals in the mornings (pigs, baby lambs, calf, rabbits, guinea pigs, emus, goats, kangaroo, water buffalo and more). They can also horse ride and go spotlighting at night looking for native animals.

We are looking for someone who has a friendly personality who enjoys working with people and animals. We would like you to have horse riding experience as we offer escorted trail rides.
You will be staying in your own room in our large house with my husband, myself and two kids (11 year old and 7 year old)

We are looking for someone to help us feed our animals with our guests and escort the occasional horse ride through the nearby forest. Itís easy and fun. We can put you in touch with our past helpers to see what itís like.

If you think you would enjoy taking out horse rides and helping us feed the animals please contact us as we are looking for someone to start at the end of July.

We have built a house and have been planting and landscaping the property. This is a homestay in a family environment, therefore we welcome enquires from NON-SMOKERS ONLY.

We are away from mid August until the end of October - see you in November

A bit about our home first.

Our home is partly an urban infill development, where we have converted one house into four self-contained living units, tripling the population density without adding to the houseís footprint.
Our home is partly an urban farm with chickens, goats, compost and fruit trees, plus a large shared veggie patch.
Our home is partly a demonstration sustainable house, with cutting edge energy systems, water collection and dispersal systems and innovative passive solar design.
Our home is partly an educational opportunity and community hub, with regular tours, workshops, films and other community events.

Why not come and stay with us?

Your hosts Shani and Tim will be happy to meet you. Tim does all the building, landscaping and art work around the place, as well as playing music. Shani is in charge of the gardens and animals. They also run sustainable education and sand sculp... more inside

HI

I have rooms available (with queen sized bed). The main tasks are: use lawn mower, blower vacuum & whipper snipper, weed garden, mow the lawn and back paddock. Help keep house clean and tidy, walk the dogs etc ...its lots of garden work!

I am in the historic town of Guildford only a 23 minute train ride to Perth. Guildford is near the Swan Valley wine region and we are close to the river. There are many supermarkets, shopping complexes, Sunday markets and pubs all close by. The train is only a 3-minute walk from my door.

There is currently 1 bedroom available with a queen sized bed. I have a busy schedule. This is why a couple is better-you wont be alone! I often keep odd hours & eat at odd times so I generally ask you take care of your own food needs. I supply the staples but you will need to do your own cooking and tidying up. I am a vegetarian so any meat you cook, you will need to provide. There is wifi.

I require 3 hours per day per person. I am happy for... more inside

We are an open, fun loving family who laugh a lot so we love having people who have a great sense of humour.

We can accommodate a single person and we prefer people aged over 25.

We are a four person family in a house in Perth, Western Australia very close to the beach and the city.

Our house is very close to public transport to the city and the beach - 2 bus routes are within a 5 minute walk.

As we all eat together and cook together. If you are vegetarian, it makes it difficult preparing meals so we cannot cater for vegetarians.

We are a very friendly easy going family and we laugh a lot and enjoy each others company.

We prefer helpers who have good English language skills. We enjoy good conversation especially around the dinner table.

We are self employed. The husband works from home and wife runs a ladies clothing business.
