Hi, I am looking into Helpx for the first time.

I am a busy mum with two primary school aged girls.
I need help to sort my home out and do jobs like cleaning, folding and cooking, and possibly occasional child care.

The initial blitz will be hard work, but after that, the tasks would be easy to keep on top of, and probably no more than a couple of hours a day. For this reason, I'd prefer helpers who are willing to stay at least 2-3 weeks. I've been struggling with illness (thankfully recovering) and would appreciate help from someone who is non-judgemental about the current state of things and willing to help me sort it out. If you have experience dealing with total chaos, you're very welcome here! Students are also welcome - I can take you into town to the university or to South Regional TAFE most if not all days.

We are an all-girl household, and strictly non-smoking. We are learning musical instruments and have a piano, Cajon and guitars if you play. I cater for both v... more inside

Taking bookings now for July now.
The baby kids have been born, 4 baby goats
Absolutely gorgeous.

At our farm, we try to live sustainably and minimise our impact on the earth. This means we grow a lot of our food, don't use poisons and eat seasonally.

As you'll notice if you come and visit, we try to repurpose, recycle and reuse as much as we can. We hate waste and the thought of perfectly serviceable items ending up in land fill!

We have always grown fruit and vegetables and have over 80 nut and fruit trees on the property. We have several bee hives, which help our fruit to pollinate and provide us with delicious honey. We also have many olive trees which we use for pickling and for oil.

We don't use poisons on our crops, which are irrigated using rainwater collected in our dam. Whilst we're not certified organic, we can't see the point of using poisons on food that we'll eat or allowing it to end up in our ground water.

We run our tractor on biodiesel, made from... more inside

Stay in a Scandinavian-style cottage all your own in WA’s stunning south-west

Our 5-acre block ‘Karri Patch’ near Dunsborough is part gardens and part native bush, and we need some helping hands this spring.

Jobs are likely to include mowing and fertilising lawns, sweeping paving, pruning fruit trees, weeding, looking after chooks, small maintenance jobs, removing fuel from the bush and other bushfire prevention activities, and generally helping in the garden and around the property. It may also work for you to help clean our house. Helpers who are practical are best, and we’re keen to hear what your skills and interests are.

Your accommodation is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom self-contained cottage. It is usually used for paying holiday makers so isn’t shabby. The photos below show the accommodation, and you can also look at our accommodation website to see more photos. You have your own laundry and well-equipped kitchen, and meals will mostly be self-catering and separate. ... more inside

We are a relaxed family with three children. Living in the heart of Kalbarri overlooking the Murchison River. A popular surfing spot is 5 mins away. Town is surrounded by beautiful national parks, with cliff walks (where you can spot whales) and gorge trails and lots of fishing spots. Lots of wildlife in and around town.

I have a small sewing business and work two part time jobs. We require help with cooking (but not essential), cleaning, gardening, basic daily chores and a couple little projects around the house and yard. A few hours a day in return for board(a comfortable bed), meals and internet.

Kalbarri is north 6 hours north of Perth.
