Come and help us restore an old wooden boat for sailing, skilled and unskilled jobs aplenty. Long term helpers welcome. Short term too. Conditions basic but comfortable. Plenty good vegetarian food. We especially like people who recognise that having guests is also work and who help make this easier by washing up etc. We also love poeple who like to cook.

Hi folks. This is an non-commercial equestrian establishment in North Leitrim, with two horses (one not mine), stables, all weather paddock and riding arena. Around 7 acres of grazing (some land is bog).

Help is needed with horses - mucking out, collecting droppings from fields etc. and farm maintenance e.g. treating and repairing fences, cutting down brambles, treating weeds, topping fields, spreading manure. Also want to build small raised beds in the garden, for organic vegetables.

Currently backing my pony so would love experienced riders up for a challenge. Not essential though. Riding may be available depending on experience and weight of rider.

The non organic aspect is having to use herbicide on creeping buttercup, no organic method found yet, and the fence treatment.

Accommodation - sleep and breakfast in 4 berth caravan on site, shower and eat main meals in the house (unless you prefer to cook your own). Plenty of vegetarian food provided. If you must have me... more inside

We are a family of four, who bought this wonderful place 3 years ago. We are situated very close to the shores of Lough Graney, which is well known for its coarse fishing. The property's boundary is the river Bleach, also abundant with trout, pike and perch.

We are a well known kennel of Pyrenean Mountain Dogs, and we occasionally exhibit at Championship shows in Ireland, UK & Europe. We also have 2 horses, poultry & goats.

We need help with fencing, ground work for establishing a vegetable garden, & caring for our animals. We are particularly looking for help from 1st July to end of August. So are looking for people to stay from a week or 2 weeks at a time, or if someone wants to stay longer, that is fine too!

WE ARE NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2019, and welcome enquirers for accommodation from now onwards.

We are a very relaxed couple who prefer people who have a little life experience. Preferable those who have lived away from home.
We really enjoy HelpX; each year we have a tasks we want to complete, so we really like help getting these done.
We are very happy passing on the experience of growing and preserving foods that has been grown organically; and what we have learned over the years who have stayed with us.
We really like people who can work unsupervised; & with the ethos, if they see a task needing to be done, to go ahead and do it. We want people to gain as much experience as possible in a productive & positive way.

Our place consists of 1.5 acre smallholding in West Cork close to the sea, mountains, lakes and woods; in one of the most scenic areas of Ireland.

Our land is put to mixed use; which includes orchard's, raised vegetable beds and poly-tunnel's to grow as m... more inside

Hi! We are currently restoring and renovating a historic building in the centre of the beautiful tourist town of Westport in Co. Mayo on the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is right beside the bus stop and a 5 minute walk to the train station. We are looking for help with preparing, sanding floors, painting & decorating the house please so ideally painters and decorators would be greatly appreciated but we'd be happy to have novice helpers with some knowledge of decorating . Ideally we're looking for you to work 24 hours per week which are pretty flexible. In exchange we have 2 bedrooms (1 with 2 single beds and one with a double which will accommodate 3 helpers) both with their own bathrooms, and are offering Bed & Breakfast every day, with lunch on the days you are required to work. You are more than welcome to borrow our bikes on days off to cycle around the area and explore all the beautiful West coast has to offer.

The cliffs of Moher are nearby, the Aran Islands, Kylemore Abbey, Kinvara and wonderful Galway city itself.
