I don't speak good English (I'm very sorry for that), but I can understand if you speak slow.
I'm looking for someone who can help me to make some stone constructions in my garden (walls made with rocks) and to cut wood and task like this. I want to paint my parking too (one painter will be wellcome!).
I can host one people, because I only have one free room.
I offer one double room with bathroom next to, wifi, tv, good meals... for 3/4 hours of work a day mx (if painter perhaps 4?;). It's better if you come with car because we have few public transport. Although I can take you in the train station.

We are a small, young HOSTEL company with two hostels located right in the Historic Center of Malaga. We started this journey four years ago hoping to give travellers a relaxing experience. We are all avid travellers and enjoy the relationships formed, the exchange of ideas, melting of cultures possible through this amazing process.

The volunteers we are searching for is someone that of course enjoys the environment they are in, is responsible, friendly and hard working. We are definitely looking for something more LONG TERM (ca. 2 months) / 25 hrs a week.

Volunteer Positions:
- Overnight-Reception
- Setting up breakfast (buffet of the rooftop)
- Maintenance work (painting, fixing things)

Some Spanish is required as well as very good English. Other languages a big plus!

We offer:
A bed in our volunteers apartment, equipped with full kitchen, living room, bathroom and free Wifi. Additionally a weekly "food"-money.

No couples or groups, please. Thank you!

For those who just want to scape from city or themselves, or just meet people i recommend to look for other hosts that may fit you better. This Is important as there are lot of people caming that dont even know that there are goats here, and make other people really interested in farming loose the opportunity to stay with us.

Dear helper, we will be needing help as from August 15th.The work is not physically hard, we are looking for communicative and patient people to keep Alfonso company and do some light gardening.
Our house (in a fairly unspoilt part of the Costa Brava, 4km inland) is similar to a terraced house in the UK. It needs quite a lot of cleaning and occasionally some maintenance. The garden also easily gets out of control if there is no one to weed and generally take care of it. This means help is often necessary. Since joining Helpx in 2011, my husband, Alfonso, already mobility challenged due to a motor-bike accident in 1970, had a fall and broke his femur. He spent 4 months in hospital during which time we were very grateful to all the helpxers who did some really good jobs in the house and, even more important, gave us both the moral strength to get through this difficult period. Alfonso has managed to improve but is wheel-chair bound and has many challenges in his daily life (me too!... more inside

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM OCTOBER 2018 ONWARDS

Welcome to Finca La Tierra! We are Paul and Marina (in our fifties). Paul has a medical background but has chosen to dedicate himself to permaculture and portrait painting. Marina has an international background and has turned to writing, wellbeing activism and teaching yoga. We have lived in Southern Spain on and off since 1978. Our children, Tessa (19) and Sebastian (18) have both just finished school and are studying and traveling leaving us with room to repurpose our home into a small retreat/training centre.

In October 2018 we will get started on our project which we are calling 'Back to La Tierra'. From 2019 it is our intention to organise and facilitate different types of training on site related to general awareness of natural living in a permaculture setting with the elegant simplicity of a southern Spanish finca.

Our land has been designed by permaculture principles which we want to expand to an edible forest... more inside

LOOKING FOR HELPERS WITH SOME GOOD KNOWLEDGE ON PAINTING AND GARDENING FOR SPRING 2018!!

Hola! We are a middle-aged couple who live in a town just 23km from the beautiful old and well-know city of Santiago de Compostela (the final destination of the famous pilgrimage route). We are both very lively and lovers of nature, so, although we live in town, we spend most of the time at my mums organic farm (just 6km away from town).
We would really like to welcome some helpers in the farm during the spring/summer of 2018, from different spots of the world, who could give us a helping hand to paint the barn that we are just converting into our house. Most of the outside work has already been done. Most of the building, electricity, plumbing and carpentry work has already been done but we would be delighted if we could have some people who are skilfuld in painting and do the new walls that are not made of stone.

Appart from that, We basically grow lots of vegetables for the family... more inside

COULD YOU HELP US IN AUGUST?? WE NEED VOLUNTEERS NOW AND FOR AUGUST/SEPTEMBER....

We are looking for people to volunteer with the day-to-day running of the dog refuge. The refuge houses up to 80 rescue dogs.

This is hard, dirty work but very rewarding. Being an animal lover is a must!

We need people who can think for themselves and learn quickly.....ideally someone who has .
experience of handling rescue dogs.

Life experience, adaptability and being able to work under stress are much more useful skills than a uni degree.... Unless you are a vet of course!

Basic, shared, on-site accommodation and food provided (shopping and cooking for yourself). There are often dogs living in the little house too. They maybe young, sick or have other issues.....they are not always fully house trained.

The little house is basically one room with bunk beds, office area, kitchenette and bathroom.

One month stay minimum. One day off a week.

Please ask for further details.A... more inside
