We are a family of three. Frida from Sweden, Franco from Argentina and our 7 month old baby Milo. We have been living and travelling in Europe for the last year and a bit, and are now returning to our little house in the delta of Buenos Aires for a few months. There we have a lot of projects planned. We want to build raised beds where we can grow veggies and herbs to eat, and we want to build a deck and insulation around the house, add two rooms to the house and build a tool shed. For the most part the plan is to use a natural construction way. We want to make mandalas or other decorations in mosaic and in any other forms available to us.

If you have any skills in construction, or earth ship building specifically it would be a great help for us. Also people interested in gardening, permaculture, mosaics, arts or babysitting are very welcome. We want to point out that we welcome not only people with specific skills, but everyone interested in learning and sharing. We met travellin... more inside

Beautiful nomads of the world I need a helping hand. I am moving out of my gorgeous dream home and as this was created with helpers it is only fitting to close the doors with helpxs. So I need packing books, clothes, glassware, etc. Not very exciting but a good excuse to meet interesting people and share a couple of weeks. What follows is the original post just to give you an idea of the lifestyle at home...Boy that was 2 years ago already!!!!
I moved to an old house in the city! It has a patio leading to the bedroom, a dinning room, a bathroom and a kitchen, upstairs there´s a sunny terrace. I would love to make an organic edible garden in the terrace but as I don´t know where to start there is a herb garden!!! I also open my home once a week as a closed door restaurant! The house needs for tender love and care as it is old and I am repairing little by little.
We share the cost of food and we all eat big vegetarian meals together. I keep a conscious weekly meal plan.
I bake orga... more inside

We are a couple with a six year old baby. We live in Lago Puelo Chubut, near El Bolson: We move from Italy from the city of Trieste, to live better and more tranquil, we leave from materialism to be in nature cultivating our spirituality. We are building our home to live in serenity; We like to travel and meet new cultures and interesting people.
We are renting a small house, but we have a large lot and a caravan, so we have different ways of accommodation.
This is the first experience with volunteers, but we had a B & B in Italy and we liked the exchange with the guests of the moment. We try to live our life in as calm a way as possible without stress. We like board games, like Catan. The place where we live is tourist. Our daughter is very sociable and loves to dance.
We can exchange information about the possibility of change, which is possible for everyone.
We speak italian, spanisch, inglisch basic and german basic.

Greetings! We are a family that built and run a lodge in the Patagonic Andes, Province of Chubut.

The place is 18 kms South of the town of Corcovado, 380 kms South of Bariloche. It is located in the slope of a mountain, half way between the peaks and the valley of the Corcovado River. It is immersed in the wilderness, many streams drain out of springs, the pure water we drink, as pure as it can be!
Ever since we started in 2003, we did most of the work ourselves.
There is no electricity network, so we use a power generator only when needed (you will need to bring a flashlight), until we put to work again the micro hydroturbine (some hard work is needed for this!).
The house is heated by radiant floor and the water is heated in a big firewood boiler.
There is no internet connection, but there is cell-phone coverage. It is a quite remote location, so you should be able to be away from civilization for a while, as we try not to go to town too often, mostly once a week unless ... more inside

This area is plenty of night life and not so busy and noise like the centre. The hostel atmosphere is very nice, we have a swimming pool and a beautiful garden to chill out. We are needing some worker to help as at reception and other thing depending of what you know to do! Time to work and relax at the same time in my nice city!! You are all welcome!! We ask 4hrs help, 5 days a week and include a bed, breakfast and lunch. See you soon traveler!!
