** At the moment we are looking for a single female for mostly housework and babysitting**

We are a small family farm, growing papaya and limes. We offer a mix of work in exchange for accomodation, which includes gardening, housework, fruit picking and packing, some babysitting (we have a 3 year old and a 1 year old) as well as other jobs around the farm. We can help with 2nd year visas, and also have paid farm work (picking and packing papaya and limes, helping building /manual labour, odd jobs around the farm etc). We would prefer helpers who can stay for longer than 4 weeks, as there is a fair amount of training for the work. It would be advantageous if you had any previous skills eg Builder, Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician, or childcare experience. Accommodation is a private self contained caravan with your own bathroom and cooking facilities, close to our house and we welcome you into our home, while also respecting your privacy.
Our farm is on a river, with a lovely... more inside

My wife and I live on a 200 acre horse property in a leafy rural area of the Gold Coast hinterland, approx 40 minutes from the Gold Coast beaches and 1 hour from Brisbane. We have a large garden and a number of horses on our property.

We are seeking help in our garden - weeding, mulching, planting and trimming plants, as well as general maintenance and tidy up, household cleaning, and windows cleaning. The main work is gardening and weeding, so we are looking for helpers who love the outdoors and don't mind getting their hands dirty. Gardening experience is preferable - wiper snipper, hedging, trimming etc.

This opportunity would best suit a couple travelling together, but we would also consider a single traveller. We can provide beautiful accommodation for your stay - a separate private granny flat with its own queen bed, two single beds, bathroom, TV room, and kitchen. It is preferable that you have your own car to explore the area - the beaches at the Gold Coast, Mt Tambor... more inside

We have only been back on the family farm about a year so we are still settling in to our new home (but an old house) and the garden is still a big work in progress. Aggie could use some help around the home and with our active 4 year old as we also have a little girl who will be one in May so life is extra busy! We have spent the last few years in lots of places - Scotland/UK, Europe, Kununurra, Broome, Charleville, so we are looking forward to settling down a little but want to have some travel experience by having travellers come to us!

The farm has been in the family for 100 years and currently supports 4 families, this includes 3 generations with grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and 2 very busy 4 year olds and 2 toddlers!

We have lots of work to do in the garden as the goal is to be self sufficient in a few years time! We also have plans involving some tourism ventures in the future so there is lots to keep busy with!

In exchange for your labour you will be hosted with e... more inside

We live in a sub-tropical wonderland. Under the 1000 foot high cliffs of Binna Burra and with the headwaters of the Nerang River surrounding our land, it is truly so tranquil and gorgeous.
We have a heard of pure bred Red Angus cattle and a happy pregnant horse who would loves attention.
We have chickens and so much potential for organic gardening and produce.
Environmental projects are a priority to eradicate lantana and Brazilian Devils Fig from the river banks.
Close to the sublime Gold Coast beaches, but completely immersed in real country life.
