We have been here since Sept 2011.We are aiming to be as self sufficient as possible. We are establishing orchards and vegetable gardens and wish to restore the land to the way it should be in an organic permaculture kind of way.We have hybrid solar power and water tanks. We are a couple one vegan, one vegetarian and the food available reflects that. There is a lot of interesting wildlife here and our 'mob' of wallabies is quite tame. We are keen on bird watching and have created bird friendly gardens with a big variety of birds around. This is a lovely very quiet peaceful place - everyone who comes here loves it! We are 25km from the small town of Wondai northwest of Kingaroy, in the South Burnett, a couple of hours from the coast. We need help watering, weeding, mowing, planting and general maintenance, building and painting skills also very welcome. Accommodation is in a queen room in the house. The house is roomy. We have internet and wifi here and reasonable mobile coverage, be... more inside

Our family own and operate an organic beef cattle property with about 2500 head of cattle. The cattle are our main business and we also have free range pigs, chickens and sheep to feed our family.

We love to grow fruit and vegetables and believe in working with nature and caring for the earth.

Just under 1 hour drive from Monto, our property is nestled behind the Coominglah Range - not far from Cania Gorge National Park. We have hosted many international travellers over the years and would love to welcome you to our home for a real Aussie bush experience.

We seek a couple who can assist in the garden, general house, painting and projects and meals. We have a separate 3 bedroom cottage for accomodation with tv, internet & telephone. We hope to see you soon.

It is fully self contained, with it's own bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, lounge area, TV etc .We have a pool for your use. We are looking for a NON SMOKING couple(sorry but cigarette smoke makes me unwell)We would hope that if we all get on well that you would stay 1-2 weeks if there is work for you. We would offer accommodation, provisions for your own preparation of breakfast and lunch and having dinner with us. Or if you prefer we have no problem with you preparing your own dinner. If you can cook you may like to make dinner some nights for us all. we have cellardoor and restaurant. we have a few goats and one alpaca., dogs and cat. We eat and drink well , enjoy your stories and and a laugh.

Your accomodation is next to the restaurant with valley view and TV and shared shower. We also have two caravans not far from the house.

We need always help in the restaurant and kitchen -- you do not have to be a chef -- we teach you. Many helpers take lots of our recipes home. There is also work out side , gardening , fencing and general maintenance-- The restaurant is only open on the weekends , so there is enough time to do other things or rest.

We are very interested in green energy. We just started importing and selling LED lights, solar street lighting and power supplies.

We prefer longer stays. We have had many helpers who stay for 6 months and many come back a second and third time.
