Two of us live in a large edwardian house in London, in the attractive green suburb of Muzzle Hill, in north London. Some general help is required in the household and the garden. In addition, my husband has had a stroke and is confined to a wheelchair, thus assistance with helping him get around would be fantastic. Anyone willing to give a hand is very welcome. Helping is need as and when, with plenty of time off to be agreed on. Accommodation in our house consists of a large private bedroom. Meals are also available.

We have two holiday cottages and specialise in welcoming families with autism and special needs. The first picture below shows the cottages and the second one shows the seating area in the paddock.

Helpers will stay as part of our family in our Victorian Farm house. We have two spare bedrooms. At certain times of the year it might be possible for helpers to stay in one of the cottages. Free wi-fi available.

We have two teenage boys with autism but only Adam is living at home now. We have a dog, two cats, rabbits and chickens.

We always have general maintenance jobs to do on the cottages and the grounds such as painting, mending fences, repair chicken huts, gardening, tree planting and pruning. We would like to clear and redesign our front garden which has been badly neglected for 4 years! We also want to put in a large pond in the paddock. If it is raining we have plenty of decorating to do inside our house. 5 hours work a day would be good but we can be flexible. ... more inside

We are a friendly, sociable family with two young girls (aged 2 1/2, 11 months) and our German Pointer in lovely Somerset. As I (mother, native German) have a slipped disc in my back we are looking for a person (female) that likes children and ideally animals as well as there are several horses too. Required is help with the children and general household duties as I mustn't do any lifting for six weeks.
The position would be to start as soon as possible and for a period of approx 6 weeks.
There is a direct bus connection from Wincanton to London Hammersmith and approx. 40 min to Bath.

We are a friendly, sociable family who live in a rural village in Dorset, south west England. We have 3 boys ages 6,5 and 3. I (mother) have broken my leg and require help with childcare and general household duties.
We are looking for a happy, fun, can-do person (male or female)!
Because I'm currently immobile, there will be an opportunity for some one on one language tuition while the children are at school/nursery.
There might also be scope for earning some cash by gardening/babysitting etc for other local family friends.

This is our family Home, its an old Farm house with 5 bedrooms over three floors we have been renovating it over the last few years, large garden and 6 apple trees ( cider this year) surrounded by fields and countryside but only 5 minutes from town. We have an unusual smallholding in the countryside. We run courses for people to build their own wooden canoes, and we have accommodation for them in flats and wooden cabins. The river runs by the garden, where we have canoes. We also keep goats. We are hoping a Help x person will come who can help me refurbish the shower rooms and help make the place more welcoming to visitors.The helper would stay in a caravan in the garden. `

Currently doing up a 320 year old cob house, need odd jobs doing, logs cutting, gardening and general maintenance. If you're up for putting in a few hours graft in the morning then the afternoon is yours to do lots of great things here on the edge of the new forest. We have some bikes for you to borrow to go exploring, the walks are nice as are the pubs. I am a musician producer and my wife Lisa is a baker. Lisa looks after horses so there are opportunities to help out there. Lovely guest rooms and nice kitchen with log burner. Great home cooking too. Depending on our movements lifts available to some local places like Bournemouth where the beaches are awesome. Salisbury is a beautiful historical cathedral city so also worth a look!

OVERVIEW
Looking for reliable HelpXers from 14th August - 1st October


We are a small family business with three self-catering holiday cottages and occasional Bed & Breakfast in wings of Greta Hall, a 200 yr. old listed building in the centre of Keswick in The Lake District.

In total we sleep 21 guests. 19 in three self catering apartments and 2 Bed & Breakfast.

We are a large family with 7 children (3 at university and 4 still at home... 20,18,18,15,10,7 & 5).

Both Scott & Jeronime are qualified teachers, in addition Jeronime is a qualified EFL teacher. We have spent most of our working lives up to now, working overseas.

We take full advantage of living in the Lake District and love walking the Fells, sailing, climbing, Canadian canoeing, camping, fishing & BBQs on the Lakeside. We have most of the gear you'll need to enjoy the lakes and Fells.

Basically, if you can do it outdoors... you can do it in Keswick, the Adventure Capital of the UK,

We are a family of five and have three children who are all very sporty. We are looking for someone who is keen on sport who can play tennis, cricket, football. We have a large garden and tennis court and a cricket pitch opposite. We are also looking to put in a vegetable garden and would like some help digging this out.
