With the hard work that some of my HelpX helpers have done, The old Kindy is starting to look refreshed but the job of cleaning and decorating is still not complete. The house and garden is huge with lots to do and would suit girls or a couple who love to paint, decorate and be creative. I am offering accommodation which is centrally located (2 minute walk to town) with breakfast and dinner provided in exchange for 4 days per week (9am-2pm) of cleaning and gardening. You need to be able to work unsupervised and use your initiative. I have kids and 2 dogs that get on well and they don't mind a walk either. So if you feel you like you can help then send me an email.
Any questions, just drop me a line :-)

We live just out of Monto in the North Burnett Region which is just west of Bundaberg and Gladstone. Monto is a small rural community. We have two properties. The home property is cattle only. The other property is grain growing and cattle. We live not far from the Cania Gorge National Park. There are great walks and a lake for fishing etc. We have a crop of chickpeas that will be ready in a few weeks time. You will have your own room/s and bathroom. We have a dog (supposed to be a working dog but useless) and a white fluffy cat. There is a big garden on the home farm badly in need of a major prune and tidy up. We need some help on the home farm in the garden and the house.

I'm looking for a caring, outgoing, and responsible femal to stay with us short-term while we are staying in a beach rental. The time is approximately Monday 21 August - Saturday 9th September. (It could be a little bit longer.) I have a 2 year old boy and 8 year old girl. We are in a great location. We'll be staying in Tugun across the street from the beach. Currumbin beach is a walk away. Also walking distance to cafes, park, bus, shops, etc. Duties would include cooking, playing with kids, arts and craft, and light housework like laundry and washing dishes. I do need someone who is outgoing who will connect with my little guy so I can focus on homeschool work with my daughter. He is very energetic and outgoing! No driving necessary. 20 hours per week in exchange for room, meals, wifi. I look forward to hearing from you! All the best Zhara

We are a family of three who live on 80 acres and then are surrounded by another 20 acres parkland. There's a hoop pine plantation with diversified native forest. About 5 acres cleared. Two horses, one dog and a gorgeous cat. We are situated 5 minutes from the Mt Cougal national park, a stroll to Currumbin rock pools, a bush walk to the boarder trail and a fifteen minute drive to the beach. We have three spare beds, two in one room, one in another. Public transport out here is poor so ideally you would have your own.
We are looking for help around the farm with pruning, gardening, weeding, clearing, fence repair and some house maintenance, fix gutters, pavers, shutters etc. The ideal person/s will be strong and handy, accustomed to working outside. Our preferred form of contact is via email or through Helpx. We look forward to meeting you.

We live in the Gold Coast Hinterland of Tamborine Mountain. We have a 1920's original farmstead surrounded by an avocado farm. Waterfalls & bush walks are in walking distance from our house. You can explore within walking distance: Gallery Walk, Curtis Falls, Witches Falls, library, information centre etc.
We value your privacy and offer a caravan accommodation equipped with DVD's & lounge. It is close to the house to access the utilities.
Free Wifi is available at the library & the information centre, most people access wifi on their devices.
Help required is all outdoors please only apply if you're handy with manual labor & gardening for 4 hours a day.
We are currently requiring help with gardening and taking care of the 130 avocados which currently require mulching around their bases. One week stays are welcome but we consider longer for hard workers.

This is a beef cattle property, running about 4,000 head on 26,000 acres in Northern Queensland. We are a family business, Husband & Wife. We are easy going people and enjoy a beer in the evening.
Your accommodation will be clean and basic, you have your own private House with own facilities. Mobile phone reception with Telstra. Smoking is permitted outside of houses, pets not permitted.
We eat a diet that includes a lot of red meat and fresh fruit and veggies. For special diets you will need to bring things to cater your needs. We also don’t have access to medical prescription; closest pharmacy is located in the town of Ravenshoe. Therefore we suggest you have your prescription filled prior to arriving.

UPDATE: We have a long term guest occupying our spare room for now so we're unable to accept anyone else until after mid 2018.
We are a family of 4 with a very friendly pet dog and 2 x pet cats and we live in one of the western suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland in a residential property. We have a large 2-storey home and a swimming pool and the surroundings are quiet and tropical. We are only 20minutes drive into the city and we have public transport right outside our house. We have a spare room with an ensuite for our homestay guests and we have had many students stay with us over the last 10 years.
