We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 14 & 11 both girls. The property is shared with another family member and their children on 5 acres. The property is an open relaxing space with wild Australian animals such as Kangaroos, echidnas & much more. Our families often gather together with neighbors & friends for quiet gatherings and dinners. We have dogs, kittens, chickens & ducks. The property is within 5 minutes walking distance to wattle glen train station which takes you into the city of Melbourne where you will have plenty to do. It is only 5 mins drive to local shops. There is good phone reception & wifi. My husband & I work all different hours and my children are at school during the day. You would have all day to explore this beautiful place. Local attractions include the Yarra Valley wine region, artistic heritage, local wildlife, markets, many cafes/restaurants, shopping & local swimming spots. We would be happy for some general house cleaning/cooking/dog walking or gard... more inside

Needed - Gardening and painting help before Christmas!

We welcome happy, responsible persons to stay with us in our beautiful, large, modern farmhouse to assist in what it is you fancy, be it occasionally caring for our three children aged 9, 6 and 3, cooking, light cleaning, doing a few odd jobs, etc.

It's best if you have experience with children and speak English reasonably well. The children are very well behaved, respectful and active.

We would love you to share your interests and culture with our children and also with us, and you will have the freedom to do this, while we share our culture with you. There are other Help Exchangers and Wwoofers in the local area.

We are a fun loving, easy going family who enjoy a laugh and getting to know people over a glass of wine or two around a bush bonfire (not in Summer!). Josh is a hardworking livestock manager on the farm and Cara is a nurse. The community is small but very welcoming and a beautiful reflection of rural Aus... more inside

Welcome to a dairy farm. About 20 minutes northwest of Bairnsdale (off the main road). You can take a train, or bus to Bairnsdale, I can arrange to have you picked up. There is a national park nearby, very nice rainforest, swimming in summer in the river, beautiful and quiet river walks. Beautiful beaches are 45 minutes away. I enjoy bushwalking, swimming, and am happy to do these activities with you (if I am not too busy). There is a lot of night starlight here. There are wildflowers in springtime. The weather is good, with amazing thunderstorms and warm, sunny weather in summer, but it gets a bit cool in winter.

You will be staying at my house, in your own room. Double, or single bed. If there are other guests, you may have to share the bathroom. The house is comfortable. You will have privacy, and space. . You are welcome to join me whenever you like, to have meals, or socialize. I have laundry, WiFi internet. Mobile reception is available. There is a veranda you can relax on,... more inside

We are an alpaca stud with an alternative view on life. Set in the idyllic rolling Strzlecki hills of South gippsland with a magnificent view to the west and South and sunsets to die for, we are happy for people to come and work with us in exchange for board and lodging. We have three very friendly dogs, one happy cat, chickens galore, geese and ducks, and of course alpacas. A lovely veggie garden and a productive orchard. Brigitte is a felter and has her own workshop.

This is a non-profit Christian Retreat & Conference Centre located about 70km east of Melbourne, on 200 acres, nestled in the foothills of Mt Donna Buang, in Victoria’s beautiful Yarra Valley. Each year we host retreats and conferences for church groups, schools, scouts, craft groups, artists, carers etc. We also have a fully operational farm and raise beef cattle. Several thousand guests stay here each year as individuals or groups, and we often have volunteers, including international visitors, staying with us who remain great friends for life.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and experience life in a beautiful rural environment with other like-minded people including volunteers from all over the world. We are surrounded by National forest and other rural properties and have many native animals and birds on site.

We are seeking a small number of volunteers to help with the day to day operation of our centre including hospitality, housekeeping, helping in t... more inside

We run a horsemanship facility on 618 acres backing onto the Grampians National Park. Our students come and stay for weekends and for week long camps, and bring their own horses. We have our own herd of horses (12) and need help with daily chores like picking up manure, feeding and yard work. Most of the work involves raking leaves and bark and picking up sticks and branches around the 'playground' area where we teach our horsemanship classes and use ourselves. Most of the property is bush, we only maintain a small percentage of it around the buildings and arenas etc. We would be happy to either offer accomodation and meals for 4 hours of work per day (5 days a week) or 2 hours of work for accomodation only. We live 40kms from the nearest town, but travel there several times a week, so supplies can be bought easily. We need help between September and May of each year. We have caravan or cabin accomodation - sleeping only, shower/toilet is a separate building and there is a com... more inside
