2 bedrooms available in large modern house. The property is 5kms from public transport - train station (1hr to Melbourne), and 8km from nearest shops. The property has been cleared for grazing, and I am trying to re-vegetate with native trees and plants, as the property is mostly a haven for native wildlife.
Main work required includes – planting native trees in autumn, + garden maintenance (weeding & mulching)+ collecting wood for wood heater. Other tasks would depend on skills and experience.
Expect 8 hrs (2x4hrs or 4x2hrs)+ $100/per week in exchange for accommodation. Meals extra, or self cook.
I'm happy to collect from the airport for $50 to cover my travel/parking expenses.

I am a professional writer, poet & sound artist, with a part time dayjob and looking for helpers. My 7 year old son and I are based in beautiful Castlemaine, Central Victoria - renowned for its history, its art (and biannual festival, March 2015), it's sustainable living practices and it's incredibly vibrant community.

We live in a very central 3 bedroom house with a garden. Castlemaine is a 1.5 hour commute to and from Melbourne. We are very close to the train station, shops, botanical gardens, library, gallery, local pubs, pool etc. There are fantastic bike and walking paths in the area, and loads of national parks, secret water holes and other excellent tourist attractions.

I'm looking for assistance with before and after school childcare for my son (2 days per week), a little cleaning help, some gardening and other odd handyman type jobs around the house. No weekend help necessary. Flexible work hours (with the exception of school drop off/pick ups). Accommodation (room ... more inside

We are a well-travelled, professional couple, with two young children. We live in the fabulous inner city suburb of Yarraville, ~8km (or 15 mins by train) from Melbourne city.

The village of Yarraville has just about everything you need; the famous Sun Theatre, beautiful parks where numerous food trucks frequent, plus some of the best food spots in Melbourne. The beaches of Williamstown and St. Kilda are also only a train ride away.

From approximately 1 March 2015, we are looking for a non-smoking female helper with strong family values. Someone who is calm under pressure, safe, reliable and who has experience and enjoys caring for young children in a busy household. We are looking for someone who will be a good role-model for our young children and is self-starting with domestic duties (cleaning, washing, cooking, gardening, child-minding, etc.). A good sense of humour and fun will also help! You will need to be able to speak at least basic conversational English.
