We live in a small house on a 3/4 acre block in Healesville, a beautiful town in the Yarra Valley.
We have a spare bedroom and can accommodate a couple of helpers at a time.
We have recently moved into the town after 28+ years on a Co-operative Community (Moora Moora)nearby.
We are starting work on the garden at our new home, and it's a daunting task on our own, so some help would be wonderful. We love the movies, and have a great cinema in town, and like an excuse to visit some of the local beauty spots & parks.

This is a boutique broodmare farm at the foot of the high country and we are looking for ongoing helpers for year round work.

It would be appreciated if, in return for weekly accommodation at our farm, workers could work 4 days per week, which would include 2 shifts of 3 hours each.

Public transport to both Mansfield, and the High Country, and Melbourne, is available twice daily via V/Line bus at the Merton General Store. Popular local tourist destinations include Mt Buller, Mt Stirling, Craig’s Hut, Lake Eildon, Bonnie Doon, Wonnangatta Station, Sheep Yard Flat & the High Country. Many popular local events can be found on the Mansfield Tourism Website.

The farm's structure is focused on horse safe facilities for a range of breeding stages and is also perfectly positioned for workers to spend their leisure time exploring the local tourism and countryside.

It is staffed by equine qualified owners who provide mares with individual and personal attention and onsite veter... more inside

This is a busy working farm with plenty of work but at the same time offers a lot of fun for guests. We run a horse rehabilitation, agistment centre and a private college educating hoof care professionals. We also stand our Heritage Stock horse stallion at stud and breed several foals every year. With this in mind we have a need for capable riders to help with the education and work of these young horses starting under saddle.

The rest of the farm runs beef cattle and some stud sheep. Stock work on horseback also allows the workers to see some amazing countryside from horseback.
Guests will need to be able to show initiative, work independently and speak reasonable English, as we need to ensure the welfare of our animals comes first.

We have a beautiful old home, large garden, large pool and two lively children, Sophie and Emma.
Duties include gardening, some housekeeping, animal husbandry and general farm maintenance.
We prefer girls who have experience with horses and h... more inside

My place is on top of the Strzelecki Ranges in Gippsland with beautiful views, just one hour train journey from Melbourne! It is a mud and stone, fully solar powered home, on rainwater with a large vegie garden, lots of beautiful forest and wildlife visiting around the house.

The train comes from Melbourne to Trafalgar and i can collect you from there. I currently need help with gardening as it is large and the summer growth has brought weeds. But general daily jobs such as cooking meals will also be handy. If anyone can drive a tractor there is slashing to do and if interested can help me with solar installations.

On weekends i regularly travel to the Bright area in north east Victoria, so it would be possible to come there with me to help harvest hazelnuts and chestnuts. We take a beautiful drive over the alpine high plains to get there!

Non smokers only please.

We are a family run Citrus orchard located close to the Murray River, 76 km north west of Swan Hill. Nearby State forests provide lots of interesting walks with abundant birds and animals and great fishing in the Murray River.
20 hectares are farmed, mainly growing Oranges, Mandarins, Limes, Lemons and Avocados, with annual crops of Pumpkins, Garlic and Onions. We market our produce at weekly Farmers Markets in Melbourne and various country towns.
3 generations of our family now live on the farm and we welcome volunteers keen to learn about Australian farms and way of life, and those wishing to improve their English language.

We are able to help you get your extended Working Holiday Visa.
You will have your own room in our family home. We will treat you as one of our family and hope that you will join in with all our family fun and
jobs. We would expect you to work for 4-5 hours a day in exchange for your food and accommodation.

My wife and myself are candle makers, home gardeners, parents of two cheeky boys (3yo/7yo) and Ministers of our local Church. We are new to helpx but have met quite a few helpers that have been staying with other hosts in our town and love the opportunity helpx creates.

We have purchased an old boarding house with lots of rooms and in need of lots of work. We have other young people boarding with us and have a lot of people come over for a coffee, a chat or to work in the backyard, so if you like to socialize its a good place to be. We have a large function room set up with various musical instruments for some great nights of music and we are also just across the road from the local pub if you enjoy a few quiet drinks.

Just 10mins down the road are beautiful beaches with great fishing (you are welcome to borrow some fishing gear) we are surrounded by rivers, forests and mountains and are also only 150km's away from great snowfields.

If you come and stay with us for a sho... more inside

Our home is based in the beachside south east suburb of Hampton. The train is approx 20 minute ride to the CBD. Beach, public transport, cafes and shops are all a short stroll away. Accommodation and three meals plus snacks provided in a comfortable, self contained guesthouse (fully detached from the main house with private access) complete with en-suite and kitchenette. Living with a lovely family of four adults (no children), two cats and a dog.

We are looking for a person who is experienced in landscaping to pave an area between our house and fence with used bricks. You can either work full or part-time days, we're pretty flexible.

We would prefer non-smokers.
