My ideal volunteering places are: 1) intentional communities/ecovillages, animal rescue centers, farms, no-profit associations, NGOs; 2) I travel by hitchhiking, bus, ferries. 3) In the summertime I enjoy sleeping in forests and beaches; always bring a sleeping hammock with me. 4) harvesting jobs to make some money while on the road; 5) busking for money is also fun! I can play the guitar, the ukulele, and sing harmonies; 6) improvisation and adventures; 7) when volunteering on a farm, I often work with my PC to make extra money, so I might spend a lot of time online, unfortunately. other keywords: vegetarian/vegan, moneyless, adventures, couchsurfing, trustroot, blogging, eco-villages, film making, documentary, anthropology, history, museums, freegan, kayaking, trekking, running. Contact me if you have similar values. I use WhatsApp.

Helper Description:
Currently in Koblenz area (Germany) open to host proposals for October-November 2020

Hello, I am Simon (Simone) from Italy.
I am currently looking for a project to join for also for long term.

I'm interested in: Alternative Lifestyles, Eco-Building,
Eco-Villages, Science (biology, geology & sustainability, astronomy, anthropology), film-making/documentary.

I enjoy physical works such as chopping wood, strimming, grass cutting, construction with natural materials.

I'd love to work with animals too.

More about me:

I had a lot of experiences and adventures in my 20s.
All of them were absolutely nice.

I volunteered in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Hungary. So far I never left Europe but I'd like to explore other continents as well.

-------------------

My ideal volunteering opportunity:

I am mostly looking for a place where I can live a SIMPLE LIFE in Nature.

However, since I also work online, I would prefer a place with the Internet/wifi available, and where the use of computer/laptop is tolerated. I am not a fan of online work, but this is the only way I can currently make some money.

School studies/Cultural Background:

Italian Literature, Latin, Ancient Greek, Anthropology, Artistic disciplines such as Music, Theatre, Art, Cinema - Astronomy, and general science.

SKILLS
I have a EUROPEAN DRIVING LICENCE.

Since I was 19 y I volunteered/worked for the Italian Red Cross as a paramedic until I quit when I was 27 years old.

I am pretty fluent in ENGLISH, ITALIAN & SPANISH. I am studying German and I know a bit of French.

AUDIO RECORDING & SOUND ENGINEERING
I am a self-taught musician (acoustic guitar, piano, electric bass, love singing, and singing voice harmonizations; I am keen to learn more instruments). However, I don't consider myself a musician, I just enjoy playing music. You can listen to my compositions on my Soundcloud page.

VIDEO MAKING
In the recent past, I helped several Italian farms, associations, communities, or ecological business enterprises by making video advertisements/interviews/motivational spots to promote their work or their initiatives.

If you want I can promote your eco-business or your eco-community by making short or long web-videos, in exchange for your hospitality.

IMPORTANT:
Unfortunately, I am PC/remote worker. During my free time, I will have to work with my computer... I wish I could avoid this (I hate social networks) but it's the only way I can afford to travel and pay for my tickets and other living expenses. I hope you understand. Please consider this before hosting me: I will have to spend at least 4-5 hours a day in front of my Laptop, though I will try to limit my time online, as I enjoy "real life" much more.

Thanks for reading until here!
