Helper Description:
Dear Planet-mates,

I am currently studying organic agriculture and working in small farms in France. I am planing to become a farmer in Béarn (South-West of France) producing organic plantulas, vegetables, fruits and sorbets.

Next year I will start searching for a nice piece of land ... but I want to enjoy a last "voyage" before that :)

I have been traveling since I was born as my parents work for humanitarian NGOs. After university I went for a 2 years adventure in South & North America volunteering with communities and as a Helper / Wwoofer.

About me : I can adapt to most situation, activities & people. I speak fluent french / english / spanish. I have professional skills and experiences in agriculture and tourism. I am full of energy and optimism always looking forward new experiences and people.
And I will be very happy to share some of my travel stories with you =)

Looking forward !
Juan

The Seed Keepers
Burn our land
burn our dreams
pour acid onto our songs
cover with sawdust the blood of our massacred people
muffle with your technology the screams of all that is free, wild and indigenous.

Destroy
Destroy our grass and soil
raze to the ground every farm and every village our ancestors had built
every tree, every home every book, every law and all the equity and harmony.

Flatten with your bombs every valley;
erase with your edits our past, our literature; our metaphor
Denude the forests and the earth
till no insect, no bird no word can find a place to hide.

Do that and more.
I do not fear your tyranny
I do not despair ever
for I guard one seed a little live seed that I shall safeguard
and plant again.
