Hey, looking for a friend to travel more of Australia with working along the way. Maybe we can even go to a festival together!

Helper Description:
Hi, I'm new here in Australia and looking to try something new. I've been traveling now for almost a year and a half inevitably leading me to Australia in the hope to find a paid job to rebuild some savings and continue traveling. While I am willing to help out for food and accommodation my real goal here is to find a job which could mean I may only stay until I have that. Unless of course I am really enjoying myself.

I've done work with my father in the past in all areas of renovation. such as deck and fence building, we've built a garage, painting, torn down and rebuilt a roof for a house, bathroom remodelin and more. I do have to say it has been a little while since I have done that work but I am more than capable of relearning!

Before I left Canada I worked in an office for many years as a consultant and designer for an engineering company. Part of leaving on this trip was also to get away from that kind of employment and after being away and travelling I've learned that that work was not the life for me.

Previous to that I've had many jobs in restaurant's and have good experience with cooking and cleaning. I also have a valid driver's license but no car.

Thanks for your consideration and taking the time to read this!
