Roadtrip, backpacking, travelling light and on a budget? I like exploring places the slow way. If you have a vehicle with separate sleeping area and need a co-driver, share expenses, share the highlights of the journey, or break the monotony of the open road, I would love to hear from you. I am an active person, likes the outdoors, hike, cycle etc. I have driven around Europe in 2015 and thoroughly enjoy the freedom of having a vehicle.

Next Destination(s):
Launceston, Tasmania

Helper Description:
Taking the opportunity to travel to places far and wide, both in Australia and overseas. Basically a place where I can find a warm welcome. I have always preferred the independent way to travel and discovering Helpx has been a wonderful way to explore new places, make new friends and embrace the local lifestyle of the host.

I am pretty adaptable and can help with household cleaning,cooking, sewing, gardening.

I have also come to a stage in life where LESS IS BEST so if there are any host who wants to declutter their home and needs help to sell stuff online: EBAY, GUMTREE or FB buy n Sell, I can help and guide you.

If there are any hosts who wish to have a house-sitter, I would love to house-sit and care for your home,garden and your pets. I have experience looking after large animals like camels, horses,cows, goats, alpacas. I love dogs and cats.
To date,I have done housesitting in NZ (Auckland), in Australia (Perth and Pomona near Noosa Qld) UK (Trefor in Wales and Postbridge and Chagford in the Dartmoor area).

I pride myself on being a careful driver and can drive a manual/auto car. I have even driven a modified hand controlled car for Jean who suffers from MS and is not able to use her legs.

THE HELPX network has opened up a more enriching and interesting way to travel and explore. I LOVE meeting host from all walks of life. Learning new skills and being invited to immerse myself in the daily activities of the Helpx host makes it a richer and more meaningful experience.
