French Chateau under renovation in quiet rural location, close to local village. We are looking for help from spring through to late autumn with building renovation work, decoration and services in the main building, landscaping of the gardens and woodland maintenance. The top floor of the chateau is finished and accomodation is in your own room on the top floor of the building (see photos for a picture of one of the helper rooms), which has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a cinema all finished and fully furnished. I run a small flower farm on a 2-acre rural property in the Bay of Plenty, halfway between Tauranga and Katikati. The flower farm is set amongst the trees and gardens of our lifestyle block, which has spectacular views out to sea and across to the Kaimai Ranges. My husband has a small olive grove of 50 trees for olive oil production, we have a wide range of fruit trees and grow seasonal vegetables. If you have some gardening or rural experience we'd love you to come and stay with us. Seeking couples for our Permaculture garden plus bushfire recovery work. Extend your visa by working on a bushfire affected property! Our place in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains of NSW was burnt in a bush fire on 22nd December 2019. We are needing help with land clearing of burnt areas so that we can restore our fences as well as taking the opportunity to remove weeds in the burnt areas where they have reappeared. We are on 3.2 Ha of which 80% has been burnt. Luckily the orchard and organic veggie garden was saved, but we need help with our late autumn plantings and preparing for the spring. We have taken over a very run down property in the Blue Mountains and have planted a Permaculture garden. However, it needs quite a lot of work. The orchard, vegetable garden, herb garden all need weeding and new garden beds need to be built. Fruit and vegies need to be harvested.
