Hello dear travelers :) My name is Thomas from Germany and at the moment I am right here in my home country. I'm considering to do some very spontaneous traveling over the winter months in Europe. I am especially interested in hiking, exploring beautiful landscapes or visit interesting places. I have already been to the beautiful Oceania region, stayed there for 2 years in total. So I would consider myself as very open-minded and willing to meet new people! So for the next 2 months it would be great to find a like-minded person who also likes to share some travelling together in Europe :) At March I will move to Northern Ireland to Belfast for 6 months, doing my Master Thesis. Although I will be busy during the week with my studies, I would also be quite happy to meet travelers up there to do trips over the weekend. So if you already know that you also will be there at that time, I will be more than happy to catch up with you :)

Hi, I’m Tina, a 23-year-old postgraduate student from China, currently studying Film Exhibition and Curation at the University of Edinburgh. I am friendly, responsible, open-minded and easy to communicate with. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures, learning new skills and experiencing local life. I am happy to help with practical daily tasks and work as part of a team. My background is mainly in film, theatre, writing and cultural events. I enjoy photography, video-making, storytelling, travelling and exploring new places. I am comfortable working both independently and with others, and I always try to complete tasks carefully and on time. I am currently based in Edinburgh and will be available for volunteering from 8 August to December 2026. I am looking for a meaningful experience where I can contribute, meet new people and learn more about the local community.

I am completely happy to come and work by myself. However, I also know two friends (and possibly up to four people in total) who would be interested and motivated to join me. would love to meet a female companion around my age to share part of the HelpX experience with. It would be nice to chat, explore, work, and encourage each other during the day, while still respecting each other’s need for personal space and having our own room or quiet time in the evenings. I am an enthusiastic and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing different ways of life. I love travelling, staying active, spending time outdoors, and sometimes simply watching the sky and letting my thoughts wander. As said in my profile, I'm arriving in Auckland by the end of August and I'll stay for almost two weeks to do administrative things and to immerse myself. Hello! I'm up for joining up with a fellow volunteer. I want to ideally go to a farmstay but there's not yet a certain place in mind. I'm calm, respectful, considerate, quick learner and adapter. I'm also into music and writing and like to spend time outdoors. I'm often deep in thought and prefer to take time doing things but also spontaneous.
