My name is Rémi, I am 28 years old and I come from France. I am a trained carpenter. I have always loved traveling. I have volunteered in Africa, in Côte d'Ivoire, where I had the opportunity to work on farms and on community projects for children. These experiences had a profound impact on me. I learned to adapt quickly, to work in difficult environments, and to build relationships with people from very different backgrounds. I love working with children, whether it's teaching them, playing with them, or helping them learn, but I also enjoy getting my hands dirty in the garden. Whether it's helping out in a garden, doing small repairs, or supporting local initiatives, I'm always ready to lend a hand and do my best. What's more, my job allows me to make lots of things. In fact, I converted a van from scratch. I really enjoy manual work. I am open-minded, friendly, and full of energy. I love learning from others and believe that volunteering is one of the best ways to develop personally while having a positive impact.

Date: May 2023 I've recently moved to Lakes Entrance, in East Gippsland, Victoria, and I'll likely be based here until the end of August. I hope to explore whilst I'm in Victoria. I'm open to meeting someone who is aligned with me, and perhaps organising a HelpX trip together, after meeting (online or in person) I recently did a 2 week road trip with a male buddy and it was really good to have a companion - across three or four different places, we were each others' consistent factor.
