I have been traveling and volunteering for the past couple of years, spending time in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, England, France, Italy, Iceland, Spain, Morocco, the Balkans, and Southeast Asia. I have also traveled extensively across the United States, Japan, Canada, and Central America, with a mix of independent travel and HelpX-style volunteer placements. I enjoy connecting with other travelers and volunteers to share experiences, cooking, ideas, and languages. I’m particularly interested in communal, hands-on environments where people are working, learning, and living together. My interests include cooking, photography, hiking, reading, playing pool, architecture, and generally immersing myself in different cultural environments. I also have a background in practical trades and maintenance work, which often overlaps with the kinds of environments I find myself in while traveling. I hold a degree in liberal arts with a focus in philosophy and sociology.

I'm also into music and writing, like to be active and spend time outdoors. I'm often deep in thought and prefer to take time doing things but also spontaneous. I would want to stay in one or few places in the summer not move around a lot, but stay longer in one place.
