Hello out there. I am 57 an relatively new to this way of traveling even though I have traveled a lot. I certainly could use a travel companion for advice and to share experiences with. Two or more is almost always better than one. I would prefer the companion to not be a smoker or a big drinker, since I am not one, but that could be worked around with the right person or couple. I am looking for a couple, male or female who loves to travel, has a good sense of humor and it would not hurt if they loved the beach, fishing and being outdoors as much as I do, but not necessary. I have not been out of the Continental US, so someone with some more travel experiences worldwide would be nice.

Minimalist, unconventional, and with a positive attitude towards life, I find satisfaction in long adventurous trips and because of this I usually travel by hitchhiking, I like lower mountains and forests, backpacking, hiking, trekking, camping, good movies, documentaries, geography, airplanes and airlines, and from time to time philosophical conversations as well :) When I travel, I prefer more exploring smaller towns and villages than big cities. In September 2026 I intend to explore by hitchhiking the western coast of Turkey.
