Minimalist, unconventional, and with a positive attitude towards life, I find satisfaction in long adventurous trips and because of this I usually travel by hitchhiking, I like lower mountains and forests, backpacking, hiking, trekking, camping, good movies, documentaries, geography, airplanes and airlines, and from time to time philosophical conversations as well :) When I travel, I prefer more exploring smaller towns and villages than big cities. My name is Rémi, I am 28 years old and I come from France. I am a trained carpenter. I have always loved traveling. I have volunteered in Africa, in Côte d'Ivoire, where I had the opportunity to work on farms and on community projects for children. These experiences had a profound impact on me. I learned to adapt quickly, to work in difficult environments, and to build relationships with people from very different backgrounds. I love working with children, whether it's teaching them, playing with them, or helping them learn, but I also enjoy getting my hands dirty in the garden. Whether it's helping out in a garden, doing small repairs, or supporting local initiatives, I'm always ready to lend a hand and do my best. What's more, my job allows me to make lots of things. In fact, I converted a van from scratch. I really enjoy manual work. I am open-minded, friendly, and full of energy. I’m travelling in Australia for around 6 months with a flexible plan. Travelling from QLD to TAS from mid Oct to mid Nov.

I am currently looking for travel companions for an adventure in south east asia - I am not sure which country I wanna visit yet, but the easiest would be Thailand (havent been to the south yet) and spend some good beach and exploring time there. Also on the top of my list is Japan, but I'm not quite sure if its good to visit in the winter... Prefered travel-time would be december and or january 2026/2027 - probably a window of four weeks in that time span.
