We have a 935 hectare Sheep and Beef Farm situated in the Hurunui District, North Canterbury. Greta Valley is 1 hour north of Christchurch. We are situated only 1km off State Highway 1. If you enjoy the beach, fishing, wineries, hiking in your spare time this area would be the perfect place for you to explore. We are looking for some keen enthusiastic helpers who would be interested in helping out in the garden and section. It would involve weeding, hedge trimming, mowing lawns, painting, firewood and general duties. There would be the opportunity at times to also help out on the farm. Our main activity is horse breeding on 150 ha and 300 ha of mountain pastures. The Trieves plateau is sought after for its wide open spaces and unspoiled tranquility. Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot.
