I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

From a number of weeks maybe longer, I have availability for someone to have a nice visit to Carrick-on-Shannon. We are startíng a small guest house complex directly on the beach in Engabao, a fishing and surfing town located 15 km from Playas and 1 hour from Guayaquil. The guesthouse consists of furnished 1 and 2 bedroom suites with completely equipped kitchens and hot water. There is a pool and gazebo overlooking the ocean. At present help is mainly needed with construction, painting, landscaping and out door cleaning, while from Dec. to May there may be housekeeping, attending guests, and caring for plants. Helpers work for 4 hours a day with 2 days off midweek and live in one of the suites. They are responsible for preparing their own meals. There's plenty of time for lounging around the pool, enjoying the beach or surfing. We need people who can work without supervision and enjoy nature. We are on a beautiful out of the way beach which generally has tourists only on holidays.

For an experience in a farm with horses and dogs, if you love nature and are not afraid of hard work! Here you’ll find silence and peace, and also many splendid places to visit. [UPDATE: We don’t have availability for a position in horse care only. But we have availability for a strong person, hard worker, to help outside with the bush clearing, using the brushcutter, driving the tractor to grind the fields, apart from helping a bit with the animals and the handling of horses. Note that we are very busy during the week, and we can't go and check our emails every day. You might have to wait a bit for an answer. Sorry for this.] We live in a sparsely populated area called Berry located in the center of France between Orléans (60km) and Bourges (50km). The closest city is Gien, 27km away. Just west is the county called Sologne, where nature is all around, though we are at only 2 hours from Paris. East is the Sancerre valley. We are looking for handy volunteers or good riders. Check...

Travelers should choose my place because it offers a calm, friendly, and comfortable home in the Dublin Suburbs 10 minute train ride to City Centre. You’ll be surrounded by plants, nature, and good company 🌿. The tasks are light and relaxed. You’ll also learn practical gardening tips and horticultural knowledge in a cozy, welcoming environment. It’s an ideal place for volunteers who enjoy peaceful living, meaningful conversations, and a warm home atmosphere. I am a well organized and responsible person. I have a satirical and humorous view of the world. It is important that volunteers in my home don't take themselves too seriously. I’m an easygoing, friendly host who enjoys gardening and evening chats 😊. I value respect, honesty, and harmony in the house. Volunteers can expect to be treated kindly and fairly, with plenty of support and patience. I like keeping things informal and relaxed, and I always try to make sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. Trust is important to me...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Hi! Please read before applying, as we need specific skills, or at least the willingness to do the jobs! We will ask you how you think you may be able to help when you apply, so please read below! We are now in spring and there is plenty of changeable weather, and we have plenty to do here at Sensone. At the moment, we have space for someone that can help with cutting wood or at least willing to collect and stack wood from the forest, plus general garden tidy up. Any other skills would be useful, the work is on steep terraces! If you have building, landscaping or even mechanical skills, we would love to hear from you. There is a possibility for a longer stay - for the right person! The work is varied, but can be heavy at times as we do a lot of wood cutting (in the spring) and wood processing and stacking (in the summer) and the land is pretty steep. This would suit someone very active and loves being outside, must be a self starter and get on with jobs on their own! Any of t...

Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. For 2026, we are very happy to welcome applications for longer stays - 1, 2, 3 or even 6 months. I have been commissioned to write THE book on vegan self sufficiency. If are here in the first half of 2026, you can very much be involved in the production! We are on a mission here to build a beautiful vegan community, dedicated to thinking about climate change and how to be Better People. This year we will be finishing the running water, the hot showers and the vineyard! You can come and learn everything there is to know about self sufficiency - water, energy, food and more. At the minute, I can offer either accommodation only, in exchange for about 8 - 10 hours a week, or a more traditional work-exchange of food and board and all that goes with it in return for 5 hours a day doing the things which need to be done! We cook and eat together as much as you want. For the right long term applicant, we may be able to help with some of your travel costs. The barracks are a disused former ...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM EARLY APRIL.. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. My name is Thierry, I have been working most of my life as a chef in hotels. Now I live alone with my swiss sheaperd '' Willow''. I have an artistic vision of the world and like to play music, more specifically harmonica and trumpet. I also have an old "Gaveau" piano, and guitars for musicians. I am the new owner of a beautiful property that I intend to turn into a guesthouse in the south-west of France. It is surrounded by a very big garden with many plants and fruit trees, as well as a swimming pool. The house is located between the beautiful villages of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Bruniquel and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and close to Vaour, where a music festival is held every August. The Aveyron Gorges are not far away either, and offer many outdoor activities (swimming, mountain biking, hiking). I need help with gardening (weeding, trimming hedges and clearing the surrounding trees). I also want to arrange my new house and get it ready to welcome my first guests. In order to do that I need...

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. Alcohol is available at cost. If we click, long-term stays (until late May 2026) are preferred, just like several of our previous helpers who stayed with us for more than five months! The vacancy is available now. Our 12-hectare lifestyle block is located 20 minutes/km south of Whangarei (15 minutes by car to Bream Bay sandy beaches). It's an oasis of 50% native bush, rest paddocks and subtropical orchards: 60% bananas and a canopy of schizolobium, cherimoyas, papayas, mango, feijoa, and temperate fruits. Not to forget the SACRED GROVE where many events like parties, weddings (Ceremony and Reception) took place. If you're arriving by public transport, we can arrange a pickup in Whangarei. However, having your own car...

Our farm is overlooking the Winton Wetlands and an original homestead in the area built in the early 1900's. We are establishing our homestead to grow fruit, vegetables and various livestock. Our goal is to work with regenerative principles and grow our own seasonal produce. We have an abundance of local native wildlife in the area, and many great walking tracks. We are looking for couples only, who are willing to do outside jobs including gardening, orchard work, small projects, fencing, building, landscaping and homesteading activities. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories over meals and hearing about other cultures.

We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us – she never asks for money… we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATURE’S SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with us… it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well.

Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the lo...

At the minute, I can offer either accommodation only, in exchange for about 8 - 10 hours a week, or a more traditional work-exchange of food and board and all that goes with it in return for 5 hours a day doing the things which need to be done!

You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post off...

Hi lovely travellers! We're looking for an amazing person to join our welcoming family from around 18 April to the end of June, to help keep things running smoothly while I finish up an extended work contract. We live on a lifestyle block and olive grove in Te Horo, about 50 minutes north of Wellington. We have three lovely girls aged 8, 10 and 12, who are very independent, but need some help getting where they need to be after school and getting their homework done. There would also be some work helping us run our daily lives, prepping dinners some evenings etc. We always need help bottling our olive oil and doing jobs outside in the grove too. The role would be about 20-25 hours a week. More hours are a possibility if needed. Payment would be room and board, plus some pocket money on top. You're welcome to enjoy our swimming pool, spa and we have a new pup and two beautiful cats. (As well as sheep and chickens!) Our local area is great for the outdoors, with the beach just a...
