We live in a fun share house 🏡 in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals 🍝, fireplace 🔥 and a big edible garden 🌾🌴🌳🌿. We're Mars, the owner of the property and former owner of multiple language schools and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most amazing meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs 🐕‍🦺🐕 in the family, so you must be a dog 🦮 lover. Also 6 chicken 🐓 and 2 ducks 🦆, so we always have fresh eggs 🪺. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome edible garden. We're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun 🥳, laughter 😂, music 🎶 and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out 🤪. Be yourself and join the family... We have had many awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please no...

Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). Normally, I already have people helping me until the end of august, so I'm looking for someone from beginning of september. I mainly need someone to help me harvest the spirulina but also sometimes to help me out on the farm with various tasks, as we do everything ourselves: cleaning, labeling, packaging, general maintenance and odd jobs, and also everything else that goes along with the spirulina production: clearing brush, chopping wood, going to markets from time to time, house constructi...

I live on an organic smallholding with my wife Maria. It is in the East of England, 13 miles South West of the historic city of Norwich and near the pretty market town of Wymondham. It is an Ideal place for a couple or an independent single person who would like to develop their practical skills and who have an interest in country living, growing food, keeping bees, chickens etc. Helpers with a practical attitude and skills who are looking for a longer term stay are particularly welcome. There is good accommodation in a private part of the house or an independent cottage as available This is a quiet rural smallholding, from here I, Steve, run my small beekeeping business. There is a large vegetable garden, polytunnels, flower beds, a mixed orchard and a small woodland shelter belt. You can get some experience of beekeeping work and keeping chickens if you are interested. There is also work on maintenance and new projects and you will be expected to help in the house as needed. We w...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

English version below. It has bedrooms with private bathrooms, a gym with a spa, a jacuzzi in a landscaped garden, large terraces and a swimming pool. The beaches are just a short walk away, with small coves and natural pools directly opposite the villa. The panoramic sea views and sunsets make the setting particularly idyllic. Simply indicate your available dates in your request. The help mainly involves cleaning, cooking, garden maintenance or small painting jobs. For an experience in a farm with horses and dogs, if you love nature and are not afraid of hard work! Here you’ll find silence and peace, and also many splendid places to visit. [UPDATE: We don’t have availability for a position in horse care only. But we have availability for a strong person, hard worker, to help outside with the bush clearing, using the brushcutter, driving the tractor to grind the fields, apart from helping a bit with the animals and the handling of horses. Note that we are very busy during the week, and we can't go and check our emails every day. You might have to wait a bit for an answer. Sorry for this.] We live in a sparsely populated area called Berry located in the center of France between Orléans (60km) and Bourges (50km). The closest city is Gien, 27km away. Just west is the county called Sologne, where nature is all around, though we are at only 2 hours from Paris. East is the Sancerre valley. We are looking for handy volunteers or good riders. My name is Anna and I live in Schöneberg, in Berlin. I graduated a few months ago. As part of my master's thesis, I started to build a small mobile house from used materials (architecture degree program). I already have my diploma, but I would like to finish the project. I would be delighted if you could help me with this. You can live with me in my Flat. We could go to the building site two days weekly and continue building the Tiny House. You can help out at least one Week, and if you‘d like, 2-3 Month. You don't need any building experience to help. I can explain everything I've learnt from building myself. As you can see in the photos, the house will stand on the bicycle platform and will be mobile thanks to this. It will be built mainly from wood. When it is finished, it will be a guest house where anyone can stay for a few days for free and get to know the place. The small house is built in a forest near Berlin. It's a very interesting shared flat with people who organise an alt...

I live in an old farmhouse surrounded by greenery in Pommiers-en-Forez, a Clunisien site and a tiny village of about 500 residents located in the beautiful French countryside, 50 minutes from Lyon, not far from the Alps. I’m looking for non-smoking helpers who could assist me a few hours a day to finish renovating the farmhouse and set up my guesthouse (painting, light carpentry, etc). You’ll have your own room. The shared kitchen is for everyone’s use. I would, of course, provide the necessary tools, and there is also space available for artistic activities. I speak English. I can lend you a bike to explore the area and, if needed, take you to the nearest train station, which is 15 minutes away. I have a cat and a dog who brighten up my days. I do not allow other pets. Feel free to contact me if you’d like more details. I look forward to meeting you.

This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid August, in the middle of our best fishing season, wind permitting. Its also during what is normally our best weather. At least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. So anyone who loves fishing, snorkelling on inshore reefs and is good at DIY or carpentry and loves the simple, quiet, rural life by the beach, next to the rainforest, this is for you 🤗. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not r...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started. Bretagne is a nice place full of culture, traditions, nice villages, forest and legends and history, and surrounded by the sea. After being helpers ourselves, we now want to be hosts too. We loved it so we expect people love it here too. Our kids are homeschooling with mainly their mother and we would be happy to have Eng...

We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...

My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...).

Sorry folks, we are now fully booked until the beginning of April 2027. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, jewellery making, or take some self defence lessons we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the local town. We work daily on various homesteadin...

I have studied Culinary Arts, Agricultural Technologies, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. I also hold a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and have training in holistic management. My main interests are animal systems, fermentation, food transformation, and practical permaculture. Real Rural Life Life here is simple and genuinely rural. A transfer from the airport or port can be arranged depending on availability, during the daytime only (details available on request). The minimum stay is one week. Simply indicate your available dates in your request. The help mainly involves cleaning, cooking, garden maintenance or small painting jobs. It represents around four hours per day, with the option of grouping the work into one full day every other day. The rest of the time can be spent enjoying Lava’s large beach, the coves in front of the villa, the hiking trai...

Check...

Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...
