Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

We live in a nature sanctuary on Corfu island in Greece. we are a COMMUNITY of PLANTS, ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS, who try to live together IN THE SPIRIT OF NATURE. we are organized similar to a zen monastery. yet we are not affiliated to any religious body, but to the holy body of our mother earth. the earth takes care of us. the earth gives to us what we need. she gives us and she for-gives us โ she never asks for moneyโฆ we admire the communities in nature (ecosystems), where all members balance their needs and gifts in a healthy way, without money, without machines and without chemicals. here in NATUREโS SANCTUARY we try to live in harmony with nature. we try to support and protect all our nature brothers and sisters, who share this sanctuary with usโฆ it is a CHALLENGE TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. it is a challenge to protect and support all nature beings in a way, that they have the chance to live in their own natural born communities. we are looking for people, who want to take...

DO YOU LOVE โค๏ธ OYSTERS? ๐ฆช๐ฆช๐ฆช๐ฆช๐ฆช๐ฅ If the answer is YES come and work with us ! If not that's fine as we have lots of nice food to offer. Work for 3-4 hours then we will have an amazing dinner. Often oysters. You can stay with us at our holiday house with water views. Or you can just come for the day and catch the last ferry home after dinner. The option might exist to stay longer but thatโs by special request as youโd be alone & would need a car. This would suit singles, (if there's other staying) couples or a group of friends wanting a short but fun adventure. Sometimes we have small numbers just 2 people, other times large numbers but this is usually only when we are there to arrange all the food etc. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, and so much more. We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island which is roughly a 90 minute journey from Hobart. The first ferry to Bruny island is around 6.50am, then every 30 minutes after no bookings requir...

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. HELP NEEDED - lots of work in vegetable garden, strimming, testing and repairing irrigation in garden, driveway potholes, making a berry/fruit enclosure. Some building experience would be helpful! Visit the Thames Coast on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula! Enjoy home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops or hangout here and make art. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday, loving every second left ! However, we seriously need help with the massive task of 296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! Hello! Iwould be happy to have a person to help after the summer of 2026. This could be In October 2026, for a week or two. I hope to firm up dates soon. The property is situated outside the picturesque hill side village of Glossa, on the island of Skopelos. Which is part of the Sporades archipelago in the Northern Aegean . The first Mamma Mia Film was based here, so the Mamma Mia church is close by. Skopelos is one of the greenest islands and though itโs not a massive party island, there is plenty to do especially if you appreciate nature and island life. It offers a lot of possibilities to have outdoor experiences such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, exploring beaches, running, Yoga etc. The island and area around is lovely, you can find beautiful beaches. The type of help I could do with is gardening, lots of painting and general maintenance , cleaning, cooking organizing around the property. I suggest a five hour helping day with your weekends off. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking and non-vaping) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining o...

Autumn period: October 19th until November 8th, 2026 In this period, we're doing something a bit different - everyone will come at the same time and leave at the same time, which is why it's a shorter period. We'll have a group of lovely people who go through this process together, getting to know each other, working, connecting, having fun and learning. Our main projects will be olive harvesting, firewood collection, gardening and forestry, as well as some other projects I hope we'll get to (carpentry included). All the other conditions stay the same, and the spirit of the project is the same as always ๐ Our project aims to invite Seekers, people who wish to work on themselves, and to help direct the world towards a better future. We wish to establish a community around us, around the world, in the village and the surrounding area. Our values are: freedom, compassion, awareness, connection and expression. Since 2023, we are aiming to create a group of self-aware people who are ab...

My husband Tony and I, offer self-contained accommodation for short stays of a week or two for a couple or two friends (any genders) who would like to explore the beautiful Yarra Valley or who are in between jobs (longer stays may be possible depending on whether we have family coming to stay and using the studio.) Our property, Lavender Farm, is about 6 kilometers from the small tourist town of Healesville in the Yarra Valley. The Yarra Valley is wine-growing region at the foot of the Great Dividing Ranges. It is about 1 hour by car from Melbourne. We have a lemon orchard, vegetable garden, horse paddocks and some bush. We are not a commericial lavender farm although we have a lot of lavender growing in the gardens. Spring has arrived so the gardens are lovely at the moment. There are some rescue horses (not rideable) and a pony , chickens, very friendly family dogs and a swimming pool. (too cold at the moment unless you are very brave!) Our daughters are grown up and living ...

Next vacancies likely to be 2nd week of September. We appreciate help with DIY repairs and maintenance, timber work, help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah where the weather is more pleasant) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary. Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers. Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay and we are now accepting applications for the 2027 growing season. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are o...

Room and simple breakfast of toast, tea or coffee, I can show you where to find free bread and there is generally some rice or pasta you can use, occasionally some fruit and vegetables, or other food included but not guaranteed. I have a minimum stay of 2 weeks and a maximum stay of 3 months. Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run heating or cooling appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded...

We have a beautiful established garden, vegetable plot and orchard. We also raise chickens, Khaki Campell ducks and a few sheep. We are able to be flexible about helping hours, normally 4 hours per day. In return we are able to provide a pleasant environment to stay, your own room, 3 meals per day, WiFi and offer horse riding for experienced horse riders. We have our own private arena and often attend horse shows. Happy if you want to send a text message and we can discuss further. Take care, regards Irene ...

Our farm is in a remote and magical scenic area of the outer Marlborough Sounds. We have a number of cattle and their calves, hens, our dog Trixie, our cat Elmo, 2 friendly pet sheep, Ivan and Mavis. Cheers Al

At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature couples as applicants are now open. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. Autumn period: October 19th until November 8th, 2026 In this period, we're doing something a bit different - everyone will come at the same time and leave at the same time, which is why it's a shorter period.

Hello HelpXers, We have a 5 acre farm, 300 metres from Ruby Bay beach. Ruby Bay is conveniently between Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park. We have a beautiful established garden, vegetable plot and orchard. We also raise chickens, Khaki Campell ducks and a few sheep. We also have two beautiful riding horses and three dogs - 3 Hungarian Vizslas and a Border Terrier. Our 4 bedroom farmhouse is comfortable and cosy and has beautiful views out to the ocean. We both work full-time, so are looking for help with gardening, animal husbandry, firewood, cleaning and various other odd jobs as the seasons dictate.

There are always interesting things that need attending to on the farm and in our vegetable garden. We have many areas of garden and regenerating native bush. Plenty of variety on the projects. We have good beaches and nice walks. Your own transport is the easiest or there is a passenger service from Rai Valley Village. Check out our website if you need public transport and you can message us anytime. GENERAL INFORMATION We grow most of our own vegetables. We make compost and use animal manures as fertilisers. With winter we action a great progressive project to plant and regenerate areas with hundreds of native trees. Creating windbreaks, animal shelter, and native bird habitat. Come and join in on a creative and rewarding project. We generally work 4-5 hours a day. We have clean and ...
