This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

In 2005, my husband Terje and I, became the proud owners of this place and we spent the next 15 years renovating the property. Today we offer short-term accommodation in this historical building. Guests come to visit from all over the world. They come to Odda and the Hardanger area to experience and explore our unique landscape with glaziers, fjords, mountains, waterfalls, valleys and lakes. Hiking to Trolltunga is undoubtedly the most popular of the tourist attractions offered here in Odda. Other less famous attractions are just as breath-taking. We are a family of seven, with four daughters and a foster son, but our three eldest daughters have recently moved out to work and study. We would be most grateful if you would like to come and live with us, and help us with the housekeeping; cleaning, change of bedlinen, reception work, payments, as well as maintenance, carpentry, painting, gardening, childcare, pet care, and other activities like going fishing and having fun. We extend a warm invitation to join us on our friendly farm by the seaside. We have availability from July 1st to the end of the year — all beautiful times of year here, when everything is either waking up again or settling in for s slower pace and the island feels full of fresh energy or is lulling off to sleep. Please inquire for availability during any time of the year. Joining us is a lovely chance to slow down, breathe, and really feel nature all around you. We’re right by the seaside, so you can live close to the water, enjoy the long light, and settle into the rhythm of rural coastal life. There’s always plenty to learn and experience here, and we’re delighted to welcome helpers who enjoy great scenery, good purpose, and a peaceful place to land for a while. If the timing suits you, we’d be very happy to take a look at hosting you and if you already have some farm experience we especially welcome you! ...

We started our Vineyard back in 2004,it is located in a Beautiful,Quiet,Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom, great meals and WiFi. We also have two Female Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care t...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All of this work we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends. In the summer time when weather permits, you have a deluxe caravan for your home. You ...

LOOKING FOR: Helpers 7th May - 15th May My rainforest home is located only a 5 minute walk to Kuranda village with our famous markets and only 3km to the mighty Barron Falls. There are numerous rainforest walks nearby. Cairns and the best beaches are only 40 minutes by car. Own vehicle preferred as the bus is limited as it is only twice a day! I travelled the world for 6 years and I now welcome guests from all countries to enjoy this beautiful place that I have called home for nearly 46 years. Non smokers only. Work is mainly outside in my large landscaped garden as well as maintaining the bank of a permanent creek which is my property's rear boundary. Alternatively, there is always some household duties and indoor painting to do when the weather is either too hot or raining outside. Old clothes available to work in if you don't want to use your good gear. In exchange for 4 hours per day (8am-noon unless previously agreed) you will have your own air-conditioned bedroom, healthy meals...

88 days visa possible if you are fit and strong enough for cattle fencing in a bushfire zone area. We use Natural farming methods. The Cattle dogs 🐶 take years to train (similar to a blind person’s guide dog and the bond is of the same importance. We trust and work together). The cattle 🐮 are the main emphasis and rotational grazing techniques are used. The large veggie gardens🪴 and fruit 🍎 orchards are for personal use. There’s an activity for a carpenter who knows what/how to replace a panel of ply wood in the cottage and fix a bit of metal on the surround of an external window(which was never done when the window was replaced by workman)😗 that has allowed water in to the plywood panel. Activities maybe basic veggie garden things, painting, feeding cattle, filling water containers of dogs, whatever comes up on a farm that is of interest. Separate accommodation.in the caravan or tent that are next to the ablution block which is being connected to off grid. Ample room for your own...

We live in a large old house 20km inland of Byron Bay, in a quiet area of farmland and bush. We have a large garden and vegetable garden which is where we primarily need help. We have chickens, cats and 2 donkeys! We can offer a separate 'cottage' to stay in, and we provide all meals- some helpers have not wanted to go home! There is our new natural pool to cool off in too. In return we request 4 hours of genuine work per day. We are 8km from the nearest village so your own car is a big advantage, although we can pick you up if you don't have transport. Our family loves the cultural exchange aspect of HelpX and looks forward to meeting you and learning about your country. Right now we have work to do outdoors mainly weeding, some heavy lifting, pool cleaning, painting & gardening.

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

We would like a strong, capable person to help us clean ceilings, inside walls, clean & wipe cupboards, wash windows, water pressure our roof & pathways, paint the ceiling of our new sun room. We like a sense of humour, honesty & the desire to get into a good days work. We possibly have 7 days work … this does depend on how the helpers are managing in the first 2 days here. We look for a helper who can quickly see our plan & show motivation. We are not so keen on helpers who have the need to be attached to devices & appreciate helpers who can quickly “read” the work we would like to be completed here. We start at 8.30 am & ask for 4½ hours a day. Preferably with own transport as we don’t have public transport out here. If you would like to work a full day , in return you are welcome to have a free day. This also includes weekends. David & I have enjoyed the excellent help we have had here on our property from workers. Some great tasks have been completed with lots of fun, hard work...

We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks .

Hey there! I’m Belle 👋 *****Looking for assistance 1st to the 8th March and 3rd to the 19th April. Welcome to my little slice of paradise in Manly, QLD-just 150m from the water! 🌊 It’s a beautiful, laid-back spot with plenty to explore. On weekends, you can stroll down the boardwalk to the local markets (just a 15-minute walk), soak up the coastal vibes, or check out some of the great bars and restaurants nearby. Getting around is a breeze, there are scooters, buses, and a train station just 200m away. A little about me: I’m an outgoing, fun-loving adventurer who thrives on meeting new people from all walks of life. I love Pilates, exploring new places, and making the most of the outdoors. I also have a 20-year-old daughter, Charli, who works locally. She's very outgoing and friendly. We love sharing Aussie experiences with guests, whether that’s sightseeing, swapping travel stories, or helping you improve your English. Oh, and let’s not forget Suede- my energetic and loveable dog...

Work will be starting in April and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn.

But HelpX here involves house sitting sometimes but mostly helping clean the house, manage a small garden and most important helping support Matthew. Housesitter will need to be a careful and responsible person, happy to be alone sometimes, or to be here alone with Matthew, and who is also a cat cuddler and plant waterer! There will be plenty of free tim...

We enjoy providing evening meals ( you look after breakfast and Lunch) In exchange, we are happy for our helpers to work 3 hours per day. We are not able to cater for strict vegetarian / vegan diets.

CLEANING, COOKING, GARDENING, PLAYING MUSIC, are all things that I appreciate assistance with. Hi, I live in Bundaberg city 5km from the post office, and enjoy having travellers stay here in return for help around the house and yard, gardening, mowing, housekeeping/cleaning, general maintenance, etc. on my 1000 square meter block. If you have special skills tell me or if cooking is your thing then you would be especially welcome. I love all kinds of ethnic food and can be flexible as to work and leisure hours. Please message me via helpx in advance, so that I may read your completed, up to date, detailed profile. Generally, I like to have guests for two or three weeks but longer stays are also possible. Solo or couples are very welcome. Unfortunately I cannot sign for 2nd year visa. Accommodation is in spare bedroom, also includes washing, use of bicycles, and other perks in return for 2 hours per day help. Helpers are to provide or share food costs. My house is a “TV Free Zone”, but...
