Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We open our farm to the public in the summer to share our beautiful property and all our animals. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out of you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes fe...

Looking for Helpers right through busy summer and autumn months. Plenty going on during summer, shearing, stock work, fencing, weed control, garden tidying, lawn mowing, lots of tractor driving etc. It would be great to have some strong keen helpers to help fix fences and do some building work. Our family of 4 (2 kids - 16 & 18 years old) live on a beautiful sheep and beef farm with large woodland garden and organic vegetable garden. We need help with stock work, general farming tasks, gardening, cooking etc. We're 40 minutes from Nelson, 15 minutes from Motueka. It's an idyllic rural setting with excellent access to rivers, mountains, mountain biking, Abel Tasman & Kahurangi National Parks etc. with easy access to some of the best fly fishing rivers in NZ (and the world!) There's 4-6 hours work per day depending on tasks. Plenty of flexibility to work full days and have plenty of time off to explore. Please be aware you may get hot, wet, muddy, dusty and dirty but rest assured ...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

Hello, Bonjour, we have been living in Banks peninsula for more than 15 years and loving it. We are a family of three, a biologist, a conservationist nature guide and a 6 year old French kiwi kid. We feel home here, a little village like in Europe with a great community, overlooking the splendid bay where orcas, dolphins, penguins and other wildlife visit sometimes. We will be happy to show you around and suggest walks or activities to do in the surroundings and beyond to the southern Alps, where we go skiiing, biking and tramping. You will stay in a bedroom with a queen bed and its ensuite bathroom, with view on the sea and hills. You can enjoy the sunny deck to relax. We are located 10 min drive from Akaroa, 1h from Christchurch. Best to have your own vehicle, but you can probably hitch hike to get anywhere. We will share our kitchen and all the cooking utensils and cutlery you need, as long as you clean after you. We are happy to share meals if you want. We also enjoy games night ...

Kia Ora and hi Help-x helpers, We're Chris and Meri. We live on a little farm with some beautiful rural views, native birds & bush and with a beautiful little stream that runs through the property where we're gradually planting and restoring the natural environment and native habitats. We're interested in all of nature, particularly keen on Australasian birds (being from Australian, NZ and South Pacific Islands) and we're involved from time to time with bird conservation and ornithological projects. We run a little flock of South Suffolk Sheep, we have free Range Brown Shaver Chickens, some Khaki Campbell Ducks (perfect eggs for baking!), have a pair of very rare Cape Barren Geese and we also have a little fruit tree Orchard too. We enjoy good conversation, cooking and sharing good food (and favourite recipes) with others and your stay wouldn't be complete without experiencing a few of Meri's traditional yummy Indonesian styled dishes. We share making meals together and welcome he...

We enjoy meeting and working with helpers from different countries and we try to make your stay work for both of us. Although we are not vegetarians or other specialty diets we have no problem hosting one. One family member is gluten free. Seasonally we need assistance with with fencing, firewood cutting, the garden, harrowing, feeding livestock, building and building maintenance and general farm labour. No experience necessary but must have a willing attitude and be comfortable around animals. Someone with Carpentry skills is always helpful. We are located on a small farm 4 km north of Lumby and 30 minutes east of Vernon BC, with sheep, laying chickens, hay and sometimes meat birds. We also have some older horses and a large organic garden. One of us is a carpenter and the other a semi retired biologist. We have lots of birds and generally very few biting flies or mosquitoes . We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. Near a busy village, bicycles offered, canoes, there are buses to take you around the island, hiking, swimming, artisans, markets. Sunsets are wonderful. The seaside Jewel is a private sleeping cabin with a bathhouse and kitchen nearby. The trailer is 34' with 3 slides, a queen bed, surround sound, and a huge outdoor shelter. The exchange is ideally for 2 people to volunteer 1.5 hrs. per day without food supplied. The work involves cleaning up after the horses or sheep (scooping poop) in the barn or on the grounds, then various projects for...

About us: We are one of the larger experienced organic vegetable farms in Sweden still active and have accepted volunteers since 1991. We are a certified organic vegetable farm that produces food for local consumption. We grow an abundance of vegetables and potatoes on 4 to 5 of our 50ha and on the rest, grains of many heirloom varieties of wheat and rye for our small home bakery. Our vegetables are mainly sold through subscription baskets commonly called CSA (community supported agriculture) locally. We were the first in Sweden with CSA and have two "daughter" farms with whom we shared the way to start. For more pictures see "bilder" on our website. See videos where we pack the CSA baskets there and also on cooking and nature walk in English. We are in the process of reestablishing a permaculture designed forest garden. Time scheme: We usually accept helpers for vegetable farming from Mid-February through mid-December. Requirements: A genuine interest in ecological vegetabl...

*French version below* Hi y'all Ben and Claudie here! We're a little family (Ben, Claudie, lil' Lilith and the two cats Pirate and Tipanda) living the good life in beautiful Gaspé. We raise rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and goats, we grow a little garden, plus hay for feed. We also have a large forested area on our plot, where we gather fiddleheads in the spring, a variety of mushrooms during the summer, and tons of apples in the fall. We also do some lumbering for various building projects and heating. Additionally, we grow most our vegetables and fruits with friends in a shared commercial greenhouse. Living near the coastline, fishing bass and maquerel is also something we do from July to September. We like getting our hands dirty, we believe in hard work and mutual aid, we like the outdoors, but we were also anxious about what the future holds. Following in the footsteps of countless people before us, we figured growing our own food and limiting our reliance on unsust...

The gardening year is slowly changing, and there is lots to do, prepare and enjoy before autumn and winter comes. Here are the details: Our lovely old farm house with two adorable cats named Mosquito & Findus/Findelita (because she's of such happy nature and smily one.--) in a nature protected area is looking for helping hands and like-minded spirits to share a great time out in nature and the garden. Bushes and trees must be cut back, the gardening beds prepared, gras cut, finalising the amphibia pond, Firewood cutting (on and off), and eventually the walnuts harvested sometime in October. People familiar with these kind of things will have preference. Our...

****UPDATE**** Looking for a second pair of hands from now onwards but particularly from late May onwards - single person or couple, but also feel free to get in touch if you have any availability later on in the future. Ideally, a minimum commitment of at least one month is necessary. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. In the past we have many who regretted not being able to stay longer. This is the beating heart of the Scottish West Highlands. Katie and I own a small crofting home in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a mes...

Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). I already have people helping me until the end of july, so I'm looking for someone from this period. Since 2017, I worked with a partner who left for other ventures at the beginning of this year, and I now work alone. We've already had several interns on our farm. I need someone to help me out on the farm with various tasks, as we do everything ourselves: harvesting the spirulina, cleaning, labeling, packaging, general maintenance and odd jobs, communication, deliveries, farm tours, online or...

Permaculture Nursery looking for helpers starting April 18th through October, 2026. Hello!  We're a permaculture plant nursery specializing in rare perennial vegetables and salad greens, along with berry bushes, fruit and nut trees and multi-purpose plants.  We sell plants that we grow from seeds, cuttings and divisions.  We also host workshops on edible landscape design, and give tasting tours of our demonstration gardens.  We're looking for 1 or 2 Wwoofers starting July 6th (or thereabouts) for help with potting up plants, planting gardens, weeding, watering plants and mulching gardens (among other exciting tasks!).  We're building a farm by hand: there are no machines in use (besides an electric lawn mower).  We're passionate about sustainable living and have extensive experience designing food forests and tinkering with various appropriate technologies.  You'd have a private room in a newly renovated old farmhouse, with shared access to the kitchen, living room & bathroom. We also...

We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each.

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM the middle of May. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post office and a small shop AND ex...

We are also a hummingbird banding station every 2 weeks from late April until the beginning of August. ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Needing help with keeping the grounds beautiful, repairs, building projects, harvesting, weeding, pruning, planting, and animal care. Near a busy village, bicycles offered, canoes, there are buses to take you around the island, hiking, swimming, artisans, markets. Sunsets are wonderful. There are 2 helper accommodations - the seaside jewel cabin and a deluxe trailer. They are both located on private seaside spots.

It’s an ideal place for volunteers who enjoy peaceful living, meaningful conversations, and a warm home atmosphere. I am a well organized and responsible person.

Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...
