Semi-retired couple living on 11 Ha, with further farming interests (157HA). Farm dog and farm puppy, with hens, goats, sheep, and deer. We focus on being self- sufficient as much as possible. So meals are mainly off the land, we do eat well! Accommodation offered is a bedroom with double bed and single bunk bed above, and a bathroom, in a sleepout close to the house. Work is edible gardening, minor building works, bee hive and fencing maintenance, farming activities, plus more! Having your own transport is an advantage, as there is no bus service where we live. Flexible working hours. Guests are non-smoking, non-vaping. Close community that we are involved in, with various activities. There is strong neighbourhood support. We look forward to hosting positive, energetic people.

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

INTRODUCTION This is NOT a hostel, but a personal project aimed to become an educational & cultural spot in the neighborhood. It means, you will NOT work following a set of rules to make profits for a bussiness, but to participate with ideas/creativity/emotions/action to develop a social-aimed venture. Please, before introducing yourself, which is very nice, ask me if the days you apply are available to welcome you. Applications are accepted in order of arrival and mutual agreement :) BASIC BENEFITS - Wide garden, bedroom, living room, little kitchen. They all are simple. Any area is shared. - Breakfast will be provided by the host the work days. However, the lunch and dinner can be cooked in the kitchen by the guest/volunteer/friend. I am flexible to talk about these and other clauses. - You handle to organize your work hours/days. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS - Welcome cocktail or typical Peruvian meal. - Detailed advice on transport or interesting spots in the area or the country (I've...

We are a family of 4 offering a comfortable, self contained one bedroom unit to travellers in exchange for help with our garden, which we are gradually revegetating. Our children are 1 and 4 years old, so we welcome guests who enjoy being around little ones and who can be mindful of keeping noise low during nap times and evenings. Our home is located in a quiet neighbourhood just 4km from the Launceston CBD. There is a bus stop close by, and a local supermarket is only a five minute walk away. Just across the road from our home is Queechy Lake, a peaceful natural space that is especially appealing to birdwatchers and nature lovers. These wetlands attract a diverse range of local birdlife, making them a lovely spot for early‑morning walks, photography, or quiet relaxation. We are also within easy walking distance of Old Macs Farm, a family‑friendly area with gentle paths and farm animals, and the Punchbowl Reserve, a leafy park with walking tracks, picnic spots, and a popular playgrou...

SMALL ORGANIC PERMACULTURE FARM General organic farm work. We are located in the lushest greenest valley of Victoria. The tasks will be a mix of bed preparation, planting, propagating seeds, general maintenance like mowing and weeding, and care of our animals. A level of fitness is required as the work can be physically demanding at times. Building or painting skills or experience would be an advantage over the summer period. About us: This is a co-operative permaculture farm, and a community of 3 families and more who value and practice yoga, alternative therapies, conscious parenting, education, hand crafting and self sufficiency skills and technologies. We have an organic veggie growing CSA garden, an heirloom seedlings nursery, and an events space focusing on arts, crafts, permaculture education and wellbeing. We have 3 goats, 20-30 chickens, sheep and are planting a food forest and fruit orchards. We have found that people who are interested in permaculture, intentional com...

My home is in Dunsborough, part of the famous Margaret River Wine region in the South-West of Western Australia. Dunsborough is a beautiful, quiet coastal town, with great facilities. Come experience life off-grid! I'm looking for keen folks to help me with my homestead. I grow pretty much all my own veggies and am getting into more and more seed saving and even a bit of veg breeding. I keep chickens for eggs, hunt the local sheep and sometimes raise livestock for meat. Work is varied and flexible, there's gardening, construction projects, firewood, fencing, canning & food preservation, etc. etc. I would also love to host someone with sewing skills who'd be keen to help with my large mountain of mending projects. I'm good at darning and can teach you how! Helping hours can be flexible and adjusted to your interests and abilities. I ask for 20hrs/week of worktrade not including your share of cooking/food prep & dishwashing. I am busy working away from home some days so seek helpers who are fairly independent and I encourage folks to get out in the community and make connections with other islanders. Our farm is in the mountains of Lares, a rural region in the center of the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. A town well known for the rebellion insurgency called "El Grito de Lares", also well known for the coffee plantations and the culinary festivities. Lares has great rivers, beautiful sceneries and nice climate. In this great countryside we manage an agricultural, educational and community project, Proyecto Agroecológico Campesino/PAC. These wetlands attract a diverse range of local birdlife, making them a lovely spot for early‑morning walks, photography, or quiet relaxation. A large part of the island`s population is made up of aging...

Our farm is in the mountains of Lares, a rural region in the center of the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. A town well known for the rebellion insurgency called "El Grito de Lares", also well known for the coffee plantations and the culinary festivities. Dodges Ferry is a village with beautiful beaches, some shops (IGA, Chemist, Bakery, Coffee Shop) and a magnificent community garden. Great cafes overlooking the main beach. It is very relaxed. Local bus service go to Sorell, about 20 minutes, and Hobart, 1 hour. My house is 5 minute walk to the bus stop. I have some spare bicycles for guest use, and wifi. Accommodation is in the house. I have a double bed and two single beds. Guest will be able to help with gardening, cooking, cleaning etc. From time to time there will be maintenance jobs (painting, repairs). Preferably work in the morning and then free time after lunch. I help at a Coffee Shop at our local community garden where we have music once a month and discussion forums. Guests can visit the Coffee Shop and join in activities and meet some of the locals. We also have a Food Co-op there where i shop. I am a musician (I am the one without a hat in the photo). I eat vegetarian, and I am gluten free. If you want to cook and ea...
