Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. We are a couple who have swapped the office for the outdoors and are renovating an old stone farmhouse in the beautiful mountains of the Cevennes region in the south of France. Our land is in a secluded valley just 5 minutes walk from a small village and 5 minutes drive from a medium sized town. We have a caravan for those who prefer their own space as well as room in the house. There is mains water and electricity and bathroom with flushing toilet Shade for siestas and picnics with chairs and tables is on a wisteria covered terrace. There is always a variety of jobs to be done in the garden. The valley is terraced with walls needing repair or rebuilding and the farmhouse had been empty for several decades so there will be a whole lot of things to do for some time. We have finished replacing the roof and have put in some new floors and windows and made a staircase from local wood. We are making progress with the wiring and plumbing and can now enjoy living in part of the house ...

LOOKING FOR A COUPLE FROM 15 APRIL FOR APPROX 1 WEEK. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine record...

Accommodation is in the “blueberry cottage,' a self-contained flat that is across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi. I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard goodies you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make a big lunch at the house for everyone (lots of home made bread and cakes) and the afternoons/evenings are your own. I'll keep the larder stocked with whatever food you like, we don't eat much meat but can supply it. We have bikes for your use and are surrounded by wineries, or there's always a shady tree to nap under. Warning we do have insects, and in the summer picking time can't take helpers who are colourblind. For ease of booking we'd prefer if you can plan on coming and going on Mondays, one week minimum stay. We are a ten minute walk from the bus stop. Hello kind stranger! Our names are Claire and Michiel, we're a young Franco-Belgian family living on an old farmstead near the coast of Wissant, North of France. For 8 years now we are bringing the old farmhouses back to life, while also bringing up our two daughters: Fleur (5 yo) and Perle (3 yo). We've been hosts since 2021 and we love the life that a group of volunteers brings to our place. Making you discover French culture, nature and the sea helps us to enjoy it even more ourselves. Teaching French and picking up on your languages widens our world view and helps our kids to be future globetrotters - like you! The different nationalities we're welcoming make us feel like travelling the world while staying at home. Every day we're hosting, it widens our horizon and gives us love, laughter and friendship. So far we've made an old stable into our home, we've renovated a 'longère' (long farmbuilding) into a woodworker's workshop, our workshop and office space, we've landscaped the c...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

This is a family of 3 run finca in Spain- see our facebook link icon below to view our land and house up in Contravies, Andalusia, 20 mins from Torviscon village town. We love the location and views and changes in weather. We are up 1200 above sea level, its much cooler then closest bigger town Orgiva or Cadiar. We are quite isolated as its old BODEGA finca not in the village as such but we do have Spanish lovely neighbours and visitors and friends coming often. Our overall goal of the place : Minimal harm to the natural environment, seeking meaningful and trusting relationships with volunteers and our surrounding community while building a strong sustainable food forest and place for tranquillity and artistic experience. Your help with the land and house We bought our farm nearly 2 years ago and we are slowly making changes to this land and the house. Every year we have Almond harvest from middle of September over few weeks. We will need a lot help with this. We will manually har...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time. Not the place just to get a free room.for a while, but also not the place if you get bored easily You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Rang...

Hello! We own a beautiful 30+ acre farm in gorgeous Vermont! We have a bunch of egg laying hens, some goats, and horses. We grow a lot of different veggies such as greens, kale, lettuces, broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, and many more. We have some hoop houses so our growing season starts early and runs throughout most of the year. We are hoping to find a helper that can stay for 2 or more weeks. Longer stays are preferred and we can accommodate pretty much any time frame. We are looking for a helper who is interested in vegetable gardening and assisting with basic care of our animals. We have done some help exchange programs with different groups, and we are excited to join the helpx community! We offer 3 meals a day and living accommodations in a private barn apartment, in exchange for 4 hours of work 5 days a week. The work is a bit physical but nothing overly demanding. No previous farm experience is required, but a willingness to learn and help out is what we are looking f...

Hello Welcome to our listing. We hope we can provide you with a positive experience whilst you stay with us and help with our various projects. We have space for a couple, or two friends, who can help with looking after our home and garden... What we are looking for at the moment is some help with cleaning, cooking, gardening and general DIY as we will be doing quite a bit of renovation on our cabins. We have space now for a minimum of two weeks up to 5 months for the right people. A bit about us: We are a family of 4 and Brew our cat (this includes a new baby who joined us in November last year.) with other adult children popping in from time to time. We are living in a beautiful part of Devon, at the edge of fields and stunning views but very close to Totnes, one of the most alternative towns in the UK. We are involved in holistic work with families, from pregnancy onwards. In exchange for 15 hours of work a week per person we offer comfortable accommodation in a ca...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

We are a french family of 4: Tiphaine and Valentin are 34, and children are 6 and 2. We are living in an 8 meter yurt, next to the house we are renovating. Tiphaine is young children educator and Valentin is baker in a cooperative bakery. We traveled during one year, 8 years ago, in New Zealand, doing a lot of Helping/Wwoofing. We are now very excited to become host and meet helpers. Our place is in a hamlet, where you can easily go for a walk. We are 3 minutes drive / 10 minutes bike ride from the village of Celle L'Evescault, where you can go the bakery, library, playground and swim in the river. We are also 10 minutes drive / 20 minutes bike ride from both Lusignan and Vivonne, where you can get a train to go to Poitiers (15 minutes), La Rochelle or Angoulême, and all amenities you need (supermarket, swimming pool, library, (organic grocery for Lusignan)). We moved to this place one year ago so there is plenty of work to do: planting, landscaping, construction work, maintaining (mow...

Hello there, I'm looking for travellers, nature lovers, people interested in permaculture and a different way of living. I'm Erik, class '88, I live in northern Italy where I've been building a permaculture project for the last few years. I've always been a dreamer, a wanderer seeking adventure and a deeper connection with Nature. After few years of working and travelling the world I decided to start this other journey here 1,5 hours drive from my birth place. As a sensitive person, Healing is a good portion of what drove this life choice into being, as I find it more gentle and sustainable for ourselves and the environment. On a more practical note, the land for now is taken care of for self sufficiency and not as a businness. I can offer food and accomodation in exchange of 3/4 hours of work, 5 days a week.. Most jobs are to do with the garden and the orchard, from planting out vegetables, tree planting, weeding, spreading compost, wood chipping, mulching, all depending on the tim...

Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy from April 19th, short or longer stays are welcome. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 89 years old and has moderate memory loss. My father is calm & relaxed. My father does like to have volunteers there, to watch television with him, so that he’s not alone & he enjoys helping volunteers improve their English pronunciation. Volunteers are also welcome to work on their laptops, while sitting with my father, he’s used to that & still enjoys their company, I also need help with keeping the house clean & simple vegetarian cooking. We enjoy sharing simple, international food with our volunteers & have plenty of vegetarian cooking books, for...

I’m a nature lover currently living on a beautiful piece of land in a quiet village in East Hampshire. I currently host an Airbnb here, but I am in the process of transforming the space into an Eco-campsite and thriving organic gardens. I live here alone and would love the company of like-minded people who enjoy the outdoors and want to help me bring this vision to life. The Exchange We will be focusing on landscaping and eco-building. Whether you are an expert or a total beginner, you are welcome here! I’m happy to share what I know, so you can learn: Organic gardening and food production. Sustainable building techniques. The ins and outs of hospitality and hosting. No Stress here I don’t believe in strict schedules. There are no minimum hours required—you can contribute as you feel inspired. This is a space for sharing and learning, not a rigid job. Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bike, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of #296: gardens to create&jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. I built an earthship inspired home in the mountain town of Wrightwood, California, home to the nearest ski resort to Los Angeles. I still have various building activities, such as a superadobe dome, and I am interested in getting help with that in exchange for hosting in my luxurious guest room in the house. My place is rich with amenities such as a cedar hot tub, Wifi, big TV with all the streaming services, espresso machine, chefs kitchen, outdoor wood fired pizza oven which we use almost every Sunday to make at least 5 awesome pizzas, attached greenhouse and high end finishes throughout. The area here is quiet and beautiful, with the Pacific Crest Trail passing through. I ask for an average of 4 hours of help per day. You can expect to help in a way that suites you, as I have projects as well as common maintenance, cooking and cleaning that I need help with. I can show you the area, which is situated in the mountains but also very near the desert. There is a lot of great hiking, ho...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure.

🌿 Eco-Campsite & Organic Garden Project in East Hampshire 🌿 About Me & The Project Hi, I’m Christopher. Accommodation & Food Stay:...

We are Axel and Mônica (both 51). We are living in Portugal and our house with 3000 squaremeters of land is in a small village in the countryside of the beautiful Algarve. We can offer accommodation (bedroom - as you can see on the picture - and separate bathroom for you) and meals of course. Behind the village the mountains start, so here is a lot of nature, the beaches are 30km away. The next town (Messines) is 4km away, the next village about 1km. We need helpers in April/May 2026 for more or less three weeks for some work in our garden.. We prefer a couple or two friends, but if you are a single helper, you can contact us as well. Helpers are very welcome to our house!

When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making it possible to host helpers hopefully from different cultures in the house. The ...
