Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

Hi there! I have a lovely peaceful, country home with an organic garden near the centre of Ireland and near the ancient and pagan Hill of Uisneach. People travelled from all over the world here in pre-Christian days, so you won`t be the first! Its about 1.5hrs from Dublin and similarly from Galway. Looking for help with gardening and housework including some indoor painting if it suits, free vegetarian food and bed plus some lifts if required. We look forward to hearing from you! Hoping it will be both fun and learning for all! Sorry no dogs as I have 2 cats who wouldn't be impressed! Hope to see you soon! Richard

Dear Helpers I currently have some availability in March. Accommodation has changed ( from previous Helper accommodation) as I currently have a housemate in my guest room. Helpers accommodation is in my small studio ( separate from the main house) it has a double bed. The bathroom is shared and in the main house. Over the years I have completed many building & garden projects with the help of many fabulous helpers from around the world! I’ve recently been travelling myself and now have returned home and there is much to be done in my garden & some home maintenance that I would appreciate assistance with. Bangalow is a small hinterland town ( around 2000 people) and my home is 15 minutes walk from cafes & the Post Office. Byron Bay is about 20 minutes drive. There is very little public transport so helpers with their own transport are preferred. I prefer you to have at least one Host reference OR if no reference then please write and let me know about your skills and int...

Thanks to all the helpers that have given us a hand. We close for the Winter months and look for help again in March 2026. So if you are self motivated and planning ahead, send us a message and we will get back to you. We are in the countryside, a bus passes our gate 3 times a day. There are a few bicycles to borrow. Lovely walks through the Woods. Take a day trip to see Cliffs of Moher, visit Galway. Listen to Irish music in one of our local pubs. You can help out in the Garden, chopping wood, watering plants and vegetables to light domestic duties. When we get time we get more creative as it's a big property and there is always something to do. You will live in your own quarters with other volunteers. Food is included. Also WIFI. The day typically starts at 11am and finishes 4pm with a break in-between. Two days off to go and explore the area. We prefer to get people for a minimum of 3 weeks stay. Let us know if you are interested and message us with your profile.

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

I would be happy to have a person to help open up the villa in April 2026. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’m from Ireland and I built the villa on Skopelos in 2008. I t is a two bedroom villa on the island of Skopelos. From May to October. I now live back in Ireland and I come to the island to prepare the villa for the season and to close it up after the season. I am interested in arts and crafts. I love being outdoors, lead an active healthy lifestyle, am friendly open minded and looking forward to meet interesting people who like to help with the villa. Skopelos is on the east coast of Greece and it is one of the greenest islands here. It is not a massive party island, its more laid back and luckily largely unspoilt. It offers a lot of possibilities to have outdoor experiences such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, exploring beaches, running, Yoga etc. The island and area around ...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

OUR Ecovillage (1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism & farm guests ...

Hi, my name is Marianne. I live on a classic New Zealand "tree quarter acre section" on a north facing (all day sun) hobbit hill, looking down to Oamaru. If you arrive early enough at my kitchen window or even up on the jungle hill behind the cottage, you can see the sea and watch the sunrise. A 10 minute stroll down Eden Street gets you either to the CBD or to the shoreline. I am providing three basic meals per day as well as a comfortable and quiet room for your stay and to relax after our daily four hours of working together "out there", somewhere on some befitting project. Currently the main focus is on landscaping, forging a pathway up the hill via carving out soil on one side and adding to the other side, creating little embankment walls in the process. Most of these embankments will be made from recycled Oamaru natural stone, a few with recycled glass bottles. Our white Oamaru sandstone has attracted various sculptors to our town, because it is soft enough to be cut and carved...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. This is not a tourist destination, but a rural village in Shikoku. Hello, my name is Masa. My English is beginner level. This job is not for people who spend all day on their phones, slack off, don't like my poor English, are afraid of bugs, or don't respect local culture. I run an organic farm by myself. I grow delicious vegetables, mainly tomatoes, and eggs. I am always thinking about a rich lifestyle and world peace. This area is blessed with many historic rice terraces and a mountainous environment surrounded by beautiful rivers. It's the perfect environment for nature lovers. The work is easy, safe, and you'll learn a lot. Work a maximum of 28 hours a week. Start time is around 7:00-8:00 AM. After work, we'll have lunch together for free. Afternoons are free time. We've lived overseas for many years, including time in South America, Asia and the Middle East, and returned 15 years ago to start our 'off grid adventure'. Having 'internationalized' it's been time to put some roots down (literally) in a sustainable, creative and co-evolutionary way. These days we're a family of four (kids aged 13 and 10) with 3 dogs/chickens/guinea pigs. We speak some Spanish and a little Japanese and would receive foreigners eagerly (also fellow NZers of course). We're one hour's drive from the nearest towns (Kaitaia and Kerikeri) although a small organic co-op is twenty-five minutes away. Neighbours include a Bee-Keeper and his family, artists, potters and homesteaders, some of whom are open to receiving helpers who may wish to spend more time in the area. People wishing to learn about setting up off-grid so that they can do so themselves would be able to pick up valuable skills at our place. Helpers stay in either a fifteen by eight foot caravan with solar power...

OUR 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world.
