My partner Richard and I are both in our 30s and we need your help with a variety of projects in our lovely tree house. We live in a bit rainforest block with jungle all around us (tree frogs in the bathroom are the norm!) It's just the two of us and our two dogs, so we could use a little help around the place to maintain the grounds and the buildings. We'd really like people who can stay for a while - a month at the minimum, and longer preferred Jobs we'd appreciate help with include: Grounds maintenance (e.g. hedge trimming, leafblowing, repairs) Vehicle maintenance (with Richard) Fish tank cleaning (with Lynne) Pool cleaning Looking after dogs if we're away Chicken care Being good with dogs is a must - we have two big dogs, one of who isn't the friendliest with strangers but is your best friend once you get to know him. We also have lots of fish tanks, a chicken coop and are hoping to get a snake soon. We have very wide-ranging hobbies and skills, and hopefully we can share thes...

Hello, I am looking for some help with gardening and house maintenance, preferably someone with a bit of gardening know-how to help control (in a wild way) a medium size garden Also help with dog walking and possibly pet sitting for short periods. Bit of strimming and mowing, and some weeding. Renovation of window frames and painting when weather allows. Trying to grow veg as much as possible, but not easy up here.(lots of rabbits and deer) Indoors --- well could do with a bit of organizing! Also some help with the bigger cleaning jobs, like the vast windows! I am living in the middle of Dartmoor National Park which is a great place for walking and scenery, and one of the last remaining wilderness areas in England. Person with organisational skills and sense of humour and who loves the great outdoors and the quiet would be ideal. One lovely dog and cat in the house, and the occasional guest. Please note, due to financial constraints I cannot accommodate long term helpers

Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. Hi, my name is Sylvia and I'm Dutch. After having lived for the majority of my life in cities I wanted to roam around with Helpx, so I did. However, I fell in love with the first place where I stayed, many years ago. A very small rural village in Bavaria, Germany, at the Czech border. I rented the huge house and intend to stay here, with my little dog, for the rest of my life. It’s a beautiful hilly area and the forests invite for long walks in which you may spot deer, lynxes, boars and other animals. Public transport ends in Weiden (train) or Lohma (bus), but I have a car, can pick you up and drop you off. Plenty to see within reasonable distance like Nuremberg, Regensburg, Munich, and Prague. Ski and snowboard centre at 7 km distance and lots of others a bit further away. In the holiday season, Christmas markets can be found everywhere. You will have your own room (with WIFI) and a shared bathroom, and you are welcome to the rest of the house too. I‘ll try to cook for you what you...

We invite you to volunteer and participate in creating a unique experience with us this summer. We organise, build and run a unique, tented, sustainable venue - a temporary outdoor eco-village in the West of England. We’re looking for people who like working hard, having fun, and being part of a community to get involved. Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring! We are a temporary venue reflected by the three main phases of our season. The most diverse range of activities and greatest need for volunteers are during the setup and takedown of the site, but of course we also rely on our team of volunteers for the running of the events! You will be supported and encouraged to be involved in whatever you feel most comfortable doing, and we always appreciate new ideas and feedback - we are all about learning, participation, and celebration of individuals and community. I am 69 years old and I decided 10 years ago to move from the city (Bordeaux) to the pine forest on the way to the ocean.... i'm renovating an old farm using as possible an ecologic way of doing (lime with hemp for the walls), i'm doing the more i can by myself. i began to do a vegetable garden with permaculture, i had some good results some years but we must be very humble with growing living things !! Now, after some very happy working moments being helped by friends and woofers , the old barn in front of the house has been saved, new roof, new floor, pretty windows, lime with hemp insulation. Just stay some more job around ! ...all the area is getting better, I put some fruit trees, apple, peach, fig, cherry, pear and roses, and some more trees around growing well. I re-done the vegetable garden after that the chicken had made a mess, so I did first a fense with the wood I cut around and it is also good to protect the fruit trees and roses from the dears !! The big caravan is...

I have sold my property and am living on a property across the road until I decide what I want to do next. I am in urgent need of some help to sort out the garden here as it has been neglected for a while and I have had an injury and can't do the things that I used to do. I am on the Sunshine Coast. 20 minutes from most places and 40 mins to the beach Permaculture and Biodynamics practiced. Compost making. Worm farms. . *Help me post a lot of surplus things I need to sell on Market Place that are left over from my old place. *Help with a garage sale once surplus stuff is sorted. * Weed over grown vegetable garden and plant food for winter. The welcome rain we have had has sent the weeds crazy, not a hard job but rewarding to see the finished product. An opportunity to learn new skills to take with you on your journey. People with their own camper, also welcome as I have plenty of room. Can pick up from Cooroy. I have been a wwoofer/ helpx host since 2000 and have had great e...

Wonderful opportunity !…..Due to a last minute cancellation, I am looking for someone to help from 20 June - 6 July. I can offer a placement to a single person, (ideally aged early-mid 20s or older) to help out with a variety of jobs throughout the summer for one or two week stays. (length of stay can be discussed and agreed). There will be jobs outside mainly tidying up the garden, where there are flower and vegetable beds, as well as fruit trees, + some indoor and outdoor painting. You will be the kind of person who enjoys being outdoors for most of the day (all weathers). Ideal for those interested in garden design and who enjoy being in a rural environment. When it’s raining there’ll be some indoor jobs to do - DIY, cleaning and general household tasks/maintenance. Ideal for person with practical skills. Approximately 20 hours per week, with two clear rest days which can be taken individually or together, depending on the weather! I run Air BnB and 1:1 English lang...

24/05/26 - I'm looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a week or more. The main jobs at the moment are weeding, planting, log & painting. The weather right now is amazing so a great time to be out in the garden! I live in a 5 bedroom house (a work in progress) with a large garden & lovely views. My son & daughter (age 24 & 23) also live locally & occasionally visit to help out. We need someone to help with the weeding, landscaping and other gardening when the weather is fine & do some housework and DIY when it's not (especially painting and cleaning). In return you'll have your own room, TV and WiFi and be well fed as we love cooking and baking! You will need to be fit & strong, like hard work & preferably know the difference between a weed & a (wanted) plant. A good dash of common sense will also go a long way. Must be a non smoker & I am afraid that I cannot host vegans. Either a single person or a couple is welcome. Helping hours would be around 4-5 hours a d...

I have need of someone to help with gardening there is a lot to do and need you to like the outdoor life. I can lend you an old coat and gardening gloves for this. I am a strictly non smoking place both inside and out. Smokers including those who vape, will be asked to leave. I take in rescue dogs and then rehome when they are ready, you definitely need to like animals I have had people come who have an allergy to animal hair and dust. This is a farm atmosphere so dirt, dust and animal hair are normal here. I ask for five full hours a day please. The South West of England is a lovely area in the country close to Dartmoor National Park and also the Devon/Cornwall border, very scenic a couple of miles from Dartmoor National Park. 2km away there is a huge supermarket which sells everything from food to washing machines, it is open until midnight except for Sunday when it has reduced. Our wonderful helpers from Argentina & France have left to go to a winter job in the snowfields. They loved it here, so we are now seeking some new helpers as there is still plenty to do in the garden over winter. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system heating and cooling. It is separate from the main house. It was a very popular AirBnB destination but we have decided not to do it anymore as it is too much extra work. The property is rural; half way between Wontha...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. Good day to you, happy travelers and nature lovers! I am Corona. In 2023 I bought this piece of Land with the dream to slowly build up a retreat center. At that time the property was neglected and now we are in the middle of a large restauration process in house and garden. There are plenty of creative ideas of how to make this space even more beautiful than it is right now. Since November 2024 we have been hosting volunteers. We live together, exchange, grow, looking what we can do with our hands and what we have inside that wants to come out and grow. We love music, sometimes my daughter did some singing circles, sometimes we or friends do music jams. Keeping in mind to do everything we do and think in worship of life, nature and all beings. I am from Germany and I keep going back there to earn the money for the renovation. My daughter spends a lot of time in El Alambique, taking care of the garden and doing some of the renovation. Our neighbor and friend Zulma is in charge of pre...

We run a small dairy farm milking 250 cows approx 5km out of Morrinsville. We are very central to Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga and Rotorua, all being within a 2 hour drive away. We also have lots to see and do close by such as Hobbiton and many day walks such as the Te Aroha summit, Wairere Falls and Butlers Incline. Both Waihi Beach and Raglan are approx 1 hours drive away. Jobs we might require help with during your visit could include milking cows, feeding calves, spraying weeds, fencing, waterblasting, gardening, cooking, cleaning and many other jobs that could occur on a dairy farm. Sometimes these jobs may involve some physical work and we do start early in the morning to milk the cows. We offer comfortable accomodation and plenty of food in return for 4 hours work per day, we are happy to be flexible with this. We appreciate helpers to be clean and tidy and respectful in our home and to help with cooking and cleaning as required. We enjoy utilising food produced from our farm...

Please read our profile carefully, and see our website and instagram. If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application. This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive. Murrnong has a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mud brick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat. We eat shared meals, most meals are vegetarian. Type of jobs: farm and garden work, combined with l...

Now until 23rd June 2026 is available for HelpX so might suit those already in Ireland or a short flight away. Suit couple or two friends or solo travellers. Minimum 3 days stay. My name is Ruairi and I’m an Irishman restoring a 15th century castle. It had been vacant for 10 years and needs some renovation. It's located in County Galway in the West of Ireland and surrounded by farmland. It has always been my dream to live in a castle and I am very interested in historical research. I have lived and travelled all around the world and am happy to show visitors around the area. The pubs in this part of the world are famous for traditional live music. The building is on a small plot of land and is a small tower house three stories high. The accomodation is basic and there is limited food preparation facilities at the moment. All electrics and plumbing are working. Bedrooms have central heating radiators. The castle was fully restored in the 1980's but has been vacant for 10 years and so...

Villa in a large plot of land with swimming pool right by the sea. Excellent transport with the Tram, and buses, and you can buy a card to use the transport when you need it. Transport is not provided...Friendly atmosphere and I need help with tiling, plumbing, electricity, mainly building work...even decorating and keeping up the places, gardens, swimming pool etc, though mainly building work and certainly skills. About 5h Monday to Friday would be a good working schedule. Whatsapp my mobile number whenever you want and ask whatever you feel like. It is only a whatsapp number. I am a qualified massage therapist, and of course you will enjoy a good body and foot massage, specially if you do very hard work. I will give you a good foot and back/neck massage every now and then. You will have to try my massages. I really enjoy nice, outgoing, open-minded people who have a good heart. We are Pascale, Guy and our daughter Fanette. We live in a tiny village in the beautiful valley of Ubaye, in the Alpes de Haute Provence. We got four horses and two cats who are like family to us. There's a garden, and our daughter runs a 1 hectare arboretum (botanic garden) and squirel park open to public during summer time, where visitors can explore the forest and discover land art. If you are fond of nature, fishing, hiking, kayaking, contemplation, animals and open spaces, this touristic spot is made for you! We would be glad to teach you French and help you with your adventure projects. The house is a bit far from the main city Barcelonnette but we can give you a lift if you need as we go there every day. Close to the village is a bistrot/ pub where they regularly play live music. There are lakes and rivers too where you can enjoy a sunbath. We bought a big caravan especially for the volunteers, with separate private facilities, as we think people like having their private spac...

I have a lovely natural building studio space, made of super adobe, that is used as a meditation/healing/sacred temple space, set in a lovely slightly wild permaculture garden, with a bee hive, flowers, veggies etc. The studio would be completely your own private space. I am happy to share some meditation/healing practices with you if you are interested. I would love help in the garden, with weeding, mulching, planting, harvesting and helping to make the garden creative, abundant, fertile and beautiful. Also need help going to the beach to collect seaweed for the garden beds. I would like to provide some meals, and have you be independent for some as well. I really like to meet and be social with helpers , and also to spend a lot of time in meditation and writing. I live in a little rural suburb near a beautiful mangrove area , and I am 40 minutes from wilsons prom, and less to other beautiful areas. A drivers license would be very helpful .

HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE 2026 Things have been moving along slow but meticulously! It feels good to be making progress and I can finally say I can see the light at the end of the tunnel…on my sailboat. I am taking early summer off and in mid July will begin working on my boat again. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities; a lot to do at any skill level. Many projects take only 5-30 minutes to explain and easy for someone new to do a specific project well. Other projects require knowledgeable skills and other projects necessitate someone that has a fair amount of specific experience. Anyone that volunteers on my sailboat can join me sailing once my boat is back in the water, or come sailing with me at some point in the future! I anticipate at the end of spring or early summer, my boat will be back in the water! If this interest you, or you have questions, contact me through HelpX or call me direct via my mobile phone (also WhatsApp number). Below is a list of some of the pro...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

I am a retired man from Germany 71 years old, living with my 2 dogs on lovely Orange Garden, West Coast of Peloponese. Most of the work will involve gardening, like planting, pruning, harvesting oranges and olives. Other work includes tidying up the place, general household chores, painting building and maintenance of the 8 bungalows I rent to tourists. I ask for 4-5 hours a day, 1 or 2 days free for your own. Low season helpers can use a bungalow for accommodation. You might cater for yourself or join me for meals. WiFi internet is available. Ideally volunteers would be over 25 years, have some knowledge of general maintenance and gardening. The bus stop is 500m from home, the 70km beach of Kyparissia Kolpos is about 2,5km. See my homepage. I am fluent in German, English and Greek. I am looking forward to your visit.

Hello! 😊 We are a friendly French couple living in Huntingdale, about 20 minutes from Perth, with our adorable 4 month old baby 🦊 We’re looking for a kind, trustworthy and easy-going woman to join our home and share a bit of our daily life. We really value a warm, respectful and relaxed atmosphere. The help we’re looking for includes: • Light house cleaning 🧹 • Very light gardening 🌿 • Spending time with our baby (someone comfortable with young babies is important) 👶🏻 • Keeping us company 😊 • A bit of DIY (sanding and varnishing a table and chairs) 🪚 This is not heavy work at all. We’re mainly looking for someone lovely to share everyday life with and give us a small hand here and there.

We also have our delightful Avan; a compact caravan that has a double bed and a single bed for those who want to live more out amongst nature.

I am in the country one mile from the nearest public transport to Plymouth, 7 miles away, whi...

This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed, skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town.

This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station.
