We are Meri and Conor who have a mobile in the foothills of the Ring of Gullion AONB near Dundalk (the town we are based in) and are building a hempcrete eco-house, the first of its kind in this part of Ireland. You will live at your own little house with heat, wi-fi and TV at the ranch. The house have two bedrooms, kitchen, bath and a living room. Help with feeding horses, stable work, training horses. Hi guys The work is varied depending on the weather and we have lots of little project going on. Help is maybe four hours a day and own room and food we feed you well. Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer !
