This is an old country house in need of a handy man to make some small renovating jobs, Help in the house, maintenance 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, flexible on the time table. There are nice mountain tracks to walk. The house is at 14km from Gandia and at 18km from the beach. In exchange for your help I would give accommodation and meals and could try to teach Spanish or French to beginners. I speak Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Valencian. The nearest village is at about 2km away. I would prefer longterm stay helper.

Warm welcome for a stay on our calm, beautiful and mindful animal and permuculture farm in Gernsbach, Germany ~~~ "It´s not your job to make it happen, its your job to dream it and let it happen." Abraham Hicks ~~~ HELLO our small farm is located in the beautiful black forest close to Baden Baden, Freiburg and Karlsruhe. On 5 hectar land we have 4 horses, cats, goats, chickens, bees, sheep and rabbits. At the moment we're looking especially for skilled, joyful and mindful volunteers for a work and stay -minimum 2-3 months- for getting into the farm routine and gaining confidence in fullfilling the tasks takes time. It´s possible to do a federal voluntary service aswell. Hi, we are looking for one or two keen, healthy helpers to work with us on a range of tasks. Berry season has started. 🌻 We have a small berry orchard and vegetable gardens with roaming Guinea fowl, friendly kangaroos and our cute indoor house cats. The rest of the property is natural woodlands and we try to live as sustainably as possible. We have built our own unique home and there are still some parts to complete. Helpers with some skills are welcome but an actual interest in experiencing a more sustainable life during your stay with us is more important. We don't take bookings in advance but if you are ready to come help now or soon contact us. All your meals are provided and we eat together to plan our day. The food is tasty vegetarian and we are happy to cater for vegans. Your accommodation is in a private and comfortable converted shipping container/tiny home and WIFI is available at main house. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. My name is Boudani Abidine. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southest of Morocco. We have an organic farm. It dates back to centuries when my grandfathers settled down in the Daraa Valley. We were nomade family. The farm is a beautiful place for families and pets to spend an enjoyable time. Also, there is an opportunity to connect with nature and soil. It is friendly for the whole family and pets. So, you're welcome to your second home! There is shower and toilet. For the daily activities in the farm, our volunteers can do housework, taking care of children, garden-work and taking care of the farm animals like shepherding and milking etc. We generate our own electrical power using a solar system. CURRENTLY SEEKING A SINGLE MALE / FEMALE or COUPLE, but please feel free to ask if you have some availability either now or in the future. A MINIMUM COMMITMENT of at least one month is required please. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. Katie and I own a small crofting home in the rural heart of the Scottish West Highlands in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a message here if you are interested in a placement with us. Hi, I'm Lucia. I own a family-run organic and natural winery for four generations. We have 15 hectares of vineyards, a wine cellar for tastings, a parking area for campers, mostly from Europe but also from around the world, and a vacation home that hosts mostly foreigners. We're simple, welcoming, and passionate about our work. We're three people who work on the farm: me, my partner Andrea, and my cousin Francesco, who loves the countryside and nature. In fact, he often goes hunting for mushrooms and truffles in the woods or fishing with his Lagottos. Andrea is passionate about cooking traditional local dishes, and I love vegan cuisine and homeopathy. I also love my job and showing my passion in everything I do. From creating my wines in the cellar, which are different every year because I love experimenting, to welcoming campers, welcoming visitors, and hosting tastings. I enjoy interior design, so I've decorated all these spaces according to my own style: simple yet original. I have ...

This is a certified organic macadamia nut orchard situated on 10ha in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. We can pick helpers up from Swanson train station, which is 6km away. Having your own transport would enable you to explore the beautiful west coast beaches. Bethells Beach/Te Henga is 10km further down the road. Helpers activities are seasonal, and may include harvesting macadamia nuts in winter; processing the nuts; shelter belt maintenance; firewood splitting; weed grubbing and minimal gardening. We work alongside helpers and show you what to do. Please be aware that orchard work is physical, you will get dirty and there could be a few bugs! We request an average of 4 hours help per night stayed in return for food and accommodation. So that is 28 hours per week. However we aim to have a day off each week by working 2 x 6 hour days, or an 8 hour day. We can usually be flexible and also consider our helper's wishes. Work starts at 9am. We have a separate co...

We are a family with a 17-year-old daughter and live in a historic bluestone cottage in the gorgeous village of MALMSBURY, just 1 HOUR from Melbourne by train. Andy makes harps and marimbas and Polly teaches music at a local primary school. Sylvie is in year eleven and plays lots of music. We have a variety of jobs from gardening to cleaning, cooking for 4 hours per day in exchange for board and food. We love music from all around the globe and have spent time studying Latin American, African, and Celtic music. We have a lovely old rambling garden with a 100-year-old oak tree. We are a 20-minute walk away from the train station so you can explore the central Victorian goldfields. Our daughter is vegetarian (Andy and I eat meat) and we all love world food. We would love to learn and cook your favorite traditional dishes with you. Your accommodation is a good size bungalow off the courtyard. We would love to have you for at least 4 days or longer if it's the right fit.

There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to sit /relax , meditate or just ponder the world ....

Hi, my name is Marianne. I live on a classic New Zealand "tree quarter acre section" on a north facing (all day sun) hobbit hill, looking down to Oamaru. If you arrive early enough at my kitchen window or even up on the jungle hill behind the cottage, you can see the sea and watch the sunrise. A 10 minute stroll down Eden Street gets you either to the CBD or to the shoreline. I am providing three basic meals per day as well as a comfortable and quiet room for your stay and to relax after our daily four hours of working together "out there", somewhere on some befitting project. Currently the main focus is on landscaping, forging a pathway up the hill via carving out soil on one side and adding to the other side, creating little embankment walls in the process. Most of these embankments will be made from recycled Oamaru natural stone, a few with recycled glass bottles. Our white Oamaru sandstone has attracted various sculptors to our town, because it is soft enough to be cut and carved...

If you are interested in learning about Nepalese cultures, cuisines, traditions and festivals, then a homestay is the best way to see the real Nepal. By doing this you will be introduced to a plethora of brand new experiences in an authentic Nepalese environment; rich with culture. An additional plus will be the warm and welcoming Nepalese hospitality at its best within our home. We have three members in our family: me (Shanker), my mother and our daughter (Chun Chun) who is 17 years old. My brother Pradeep runs a small money exchange office in Thamel, which is about a 20 minutes direct walk from our home. Our home is located in a very safe and peaceful residential area called Gongabu Town Planning, Gongabu. We belong to the Newar ethnic group, who are the indigenous people of Kathmandu Valley. Newari culture is historically rich and possesses many unique traditions and rituals; one of which includes marrying our daughters to the bel-tree fruit and the Sun. At the same time, you wi...

This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. Volunteers can expect to as class helpers and also share teaching tips with the school if they can. Volunteers can also help beautify the classrooms murals to help the kids as visual aids during their school time. Becoming an independent class teacher is also an option for long-term volunteers as soon as they have a grasp on the school's curriculum and vision for students. Other jobs for volunteers include: - Writing class exercises and homework exercises for students (we have no printing/photocopying facilities) - Designing class quizzes and tests - Introducing interactive, educational games through which children can learn ...

. Any one free the end of this week? 12th Dec -Looking for one or two people to get the garden and house into shape before summer asap. We live in an old house(in Australian terms 1854)that needs lots of care. It's a beautiful building with an interesting history, a BBQ area, large garden and old stables. There's a bus stop round the corner, less than 10mins walk away with buses into the University town of Ballarat. Buses leave every hour and it takes 20mins. Our little town has plenty of beautiful walks and bike trails, there are several coffee shops and the usual facilities, including an outdoor pool during the summer.Ballarat has plenty to offer including Sovereign Hill historical village and Gold mine, a wildlife park, cafes, restaurants, Lake Wendouree and more. Melbourne is just over an hour by train from Ballarat. Guests would be required to help out for four hours (per person), 5 days a week which must include the weekend. There's lots to be done- Work includes weeding, cleari...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

--next space available is 29th December - 5th of jan-- Accommodation is in the “blueberry cottage,' a self-contained flat that is across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi. I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard goodies you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make a big lunch at the house for everyone (lots of home made bread and cakes) and the afternoons/evenings are your own. I'll keep the larder stocked with whatever food you like, we don't eat much meat but can supply it. We have bikes for your use and are surrounded by wineries, or there's always a shady tree to nap under. Warning we do have insects, and in the summer picking time can't take helpers who are colourblind. For ease of booking we'd prefer if you can plan on coming and going on Mondays, one week minimum stay. We are a ten minute walk from the bus stop. Here's a little video on us...

Hi, we're Marlis and Henry. We live in a house with a garden in Ahrensburg near Hamburg. Since we recently moved here, we have various projects in the house and garden that we would appreciate some help with. Current projects include trimming bushes and hedges, tending flowerbeds, laying paving slabs, clearing out the basement, and smaller painting projects.... We're hosting one person or two friends / a couple. Since we were helpers ourselves, we know your site and want you to have a good time too :). We're currently transitioning between studies and careers – Marlis is an aircraft engineer and Henry is a social scientist. Depending on the length of your stay, you're welcome to organize your working hours (20-25 hours per week) flexibly. We’re hosting for short terms only - maximum 2 weeks. We'll do the shopping: breakfast is help yourself; if we can manage it, we'll cook a hot meal for everyone at lunch (or sometimes in the evening) - however, there may also be days when you cook yo...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with my dog, 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. There are millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve. There is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian and preference will be given to vegetarians. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a comfortable caravan. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. I am looking for a handyman and/or someone with lots of experience riding and training horses as I have 2 horses and one hasn't been ridden yet (sorry, no Wes...

We have a property/lifestyle block with 2 kids (sometimes home if it’s the Uni holidays), my Mum, 9 chickens. 5 ducklings and a cat. We have been here 15 years and have been busy planting the orchard, pond, fruit and nuts etc. using the theories of permaculture. We work from home (office work) and need help outside primarily on the land. At the moment this is gardening, weeding, mulching, making a duck run. In exchange for your work we will provide food and accommodation. Food is usually super healthy. Accommodation is a small cabin on our lake (double bed only) heater, and spectacular views over the lake. Nestled In the trees next to the spa. We are 30 minutes from downtown Auckland, 5 minutes from Muriwai beach. Limited public transport out here, but a bus comes out from the city - The 125!. Looking for guests for around a week, this varies, we are flexible. Ideally looking for two people and ideally with outdoors experience! Thats us. Get in contact. Cheers Gendie & Ti...

1 or 2 private bedrooms / shared bathroom facilities in exchange for 2 hours work each day. Self catering with full cooking facilities available. We need help with feeding our animals and some general maintenance around home. We have a friendly cat who needs to be fed morning and evening and a bunny who loves to eat. There are also 2 other cats that belong to my daughter, that would need feeding daily. They live 5 minutes drive away from our home. General maintenance could include; inside - cleaning (windows, walls, cupboard.) Outside - trimming trees, weeding, washing walls etc. Work can be done when it suits you (and us) so there is flexibility depending on weather etc. Caring for the animals is the greater priority. We are a friendly family who live in a peaceful bush setting in West Auckland. We are a great first place to stay as we know the best places to visit and explore while in NZ and are happy to help. Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Hello Helpxers, I'm look for three or four people to help me on the most beautiful farm I have just bought. Start date as soon as possible. Help needed mainly on the farm, campsite and b&b. I also will be running retreats soon. I would ask for 5 hrs a day of help for 5 days a week. I happy to be totally flexible with how the time is organised. i may ask for specific times for example if I am going to be away for a few days to take care of the animals (at the moment this consists of a puppy and two cats - hopefully this will increase soon!) I'm pretty flexible with how long you can stay but I'd prefer a minimum of two weeks and for up to four months to start with and then see how we feel after that. The property is alcohol and drug free. P check in with yourself if you're okay with that. I'm would love someone who has experience with a chainsaw and building - working with repairing the stone walls to some of the barns - using lime. Also helping with decorating and or gardening. ...

You need to commit to one week however you could stay longer if all are agreed. ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

There are families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park in the farm. There is a security-guard for securing trucks, cars, motorhome etc. Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the farm. In the farm, our volunteers can relax, have...

We are particularly keen on couples with the male having some basic building or gardening / home growing sk...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure.

Available for these specific dates over the holiday period - ...

Also helping with decorating and or gardening. ...
