*Update -Spring 2025. September-November We need helpers as soon as possible for a big clean up to help prepare for a big event here in November. **Please note- We prefer to welcome helpers straight away-e.g available now or in the next few days. taking bookings for weeks or months ahead has never worked for us as we buy the extra food and supplies and too many people have cancelled because plans change when travelling. We generally don't take "bookings" for anything longer than one week or so away. We currently have a lot of projects on at the moment so there is a wide selection of tasks to choose from. Work includes gardening projects, feeding chickens, mowing, brush cutting, household chores and upgrading the chicken pen and organising work spaces. **Accommodation is either in a detached house in the forest (up a steep hill from the main house) There are two separate bedrooms up there and our 18 year old son sleeps in one bedroom and you will have the other bedroom. Or you...

** Looking for 1-2 girls to assist with housekeeping around the lodge *** Hi there! We have a large modern house 70m from the beach in Anakiwa and 30 mins by road from Picton. There are kayaks here, excellent bush walks and a beautiful relaxed seaside environment. Our kiwi family regularly hosts young volunteers (wwoofers/helpers/interns) from our international visitors. You are treated like a member of our family, you live within our private household, share your background and experience our daily life in New Zealand. As with family members, there are no formal contracts or payment, your input is fully voluntary and you are free to depart at any time. Volunteers normally help out for 3-4 hrs per day with the afternoons/evenings free to relax. Tasks are typically gardening, house cleaning, laundry, helping with meals (vegetarians welcome, but sorry we are not vegetarian!) and generally assisting around the property with misc tasks that suit your talents. You will get involved ...

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help/day for the room only and provide your own food, or we can provide meals for you, and you help us for four hours/day. Also: Sometimes there is a possibility of renting our room in exchange for some few hours per week plus dollars. Our home is surrounded by nature and some of Nelson's best mountain biking and walking tracks. We are two friendly people, some chickens and a cat. Our home is in easy walking distance of Nelson city centre, but it is quiet and private. It's like being in the country. There's a good mix of things to do: Looking after garden and trees, house and each other, making music, preserving fruit, generally enjoying life. We can talk to you in English, French or German. We like to share meals with helpers. We love to feed you (and love being cooked for by you, too!). If you want to teach us a song from your country, that would make us happy. The Most Important thing we hope for in a Helper is that they want to...

Kia ora Helpxers, We invite you to come and be our Helpxer/s and enjoy our wonderful, warm and sunny location with a spectacular view of Tasman Bay. Our place is just 7km from central Nelson. The Nelson Tasman region is a very popular region for travellers, with access to the Abel Tasman National Park being just over an hour away. From our place, you can ride the bicycle trail into town, taking about 20 minutes, or there is a bus stop not far away, or even better, if you have your own transport. We designed and built our own passive solar house, constructed from Adobe Earth Blocks, a sustainable and eco-friendly method of building, using local materials such as clay and straw. It keeps everyone cool on the hot days and warm and dry on the coolest! Our preference is to host you for up to one week or more if it suits. We ask for four hours helping out each day, but are flexible for longer days, so you may take a day or two off to explore our beautiful region. We have a few projects...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

We have a basic but lovely country home located by the Rangitikei River. We are about 25 minutes from the nearest shop in Hunterville as well as our local pub which is located about 10 minutes away. My husband and I have a 2 year old son Joseph and a new baby Makayla born September 2024. We do our best to live off the meat that we hunt and the vegetables we grow. I'm looking for someone to help out with our veggie garden and with general work around the house or with projects that I might be doing at the time of your stay. Our roof is currently in need of some repairs so if you are someone that is interested or has experience in roof repairs then you would be a great fit however if this job wouldn't suit you then there's plenty of other chores to do. You'd be looking at around 4 hours of help per day in exchange for food and accommodation. We live on my husband's parents Deer, Sheep and Beef farm. WELCOME to the Human Rewilding Project. Since humans walked the earth we could be considered a mature adult human being if we know how to provide food and shelter without depending on an intermediary between us and nature. ABOUT US: We are young married couple coming from very different cultures and upbringings. We are living our dream of experiencing what it means to be alive in human form. And that on our own land in one of the most beautiful and wild corners of Scotland. Our house and the main parts of the croft lie on a hill with a breathtaking view onto Oldshoremore Beach. The view from the house or from the garden invite for frequent moments of still admiration and gratitude. Alexa grew up on a Finca in the jungle of Costa Rica within her tribe, the Boruca. She was born into a lineage of healers and understands deeply the ways of plants and other beings. She learned from her elders about natural health, herbal remedies and energy work. One of her many missions is to pass o...

Our home is in Shailer Park, a Southern suburb of Brisbane between the inner city and the Gold Coast. I have previous experience as a host with HelpX when I lived near Sydney in NSW. It's a quiet safe area and my son needs help with a gardening project and some small handyman jobs. I am a retired female. I have my own ensuite separate to the main bathroom which you will share with one other housemate plus there is an extra toilet downstairs. Help is required 4 to 5hrs per day, Monday to Friday with weekends to yourself and my swimming pool is there for all to enjoy as much as the other communal areas inside. We have the Daisy Hill Koala Centre & Conservation Park in the suburb next door, plus many walking & bicycle trails. A bus trip going North to Brisbane City Centre is about one hour & only 50 cents, and 2.15 hrs by bus, South to the Gold Coast for a day or weekend trip. Not sure about train travel. Lots of shopping centres and not far from entertainment venues, Australia Zoo...

Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

Hello my name's Linda. I am a Queens English speaking intelligent lady, in her early 60's. Animal LOVER. Previously had lived in incredibly touristiky tacky Marmaris in Turkey more than 16 years running private boat and fishing charters. BUT NOW on with my next about turn adventure and BIG life change having bought a very old part renovated Cortijo/FARMHOUSE in Spain, Andulucia, Granada Province on the beautiful but windy Costa Tropical famous for its exotic fruit and vegetable growing. I am 7km inland from the sea a 15/20 minutes by car journey down the gulley's mountain track from the Barranco/Ravine and Rambla/Riverbed to the coasts traditional fishing village Castell de Ferro, officially named as one of the Magical Villages of Spain on the coast below the sea and mountainous Alpujarra's and Sierra Nevada's. The Cortijo is mostly renovated and large, she stands solitary on the slopes of a low mountain lea below Mount Lujar, I am at 350meters above sea level. Amazing mountain and se...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. Availability from early October. We are fully booked until the end of September. Please contact us if you are interested to help look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pu...

I am in the Madonie Park. It's a small experimental farm. I chose to get out of the city routine and come and live in the Madonie park surrounded by nature. the house is big enough and comfortable. I offer volunteers an independent room and a second bathroom. I have some animals: a mare, a donkey, 5 dogs, 12 goats, 10 hens, 1 cat. I need help taking care of the house, in the care of the peaceful animals, some gardening work. During the milk period I milk some goats and produce the cheese, yogurt and ricotta. Sometimes I like to cook together with my guests it's definitely a cultural exchange. Ros' languages are basic Spanish and Portuguese and very bad English. I like to wake up early and work, animals don't like to wait. The daily tasks are carried out calmly .

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON *Got a garden that needs cleaning up at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots of tracks to walk and a...

Hello, We are a family who have been living in Brittany for a little over a year, specifically on Cap Sizun, west of Douarnenez. **For fast response please contact mobile through WhatsApp/ Telegram. We're on the island of La Palma, west of Tenerife, reachable by direct flights and boats and cheap connections from Tenerife or mainland Spain. Ask for travel advice! The project is set in a dramatic location surrounded by nature with panoramic views out to the sea and the UNESCO preserved coastline where there are beaches, ports and hikes all accessible from the project by walking. There's also hikes up into the mountains and Forrest above us. A little about me; I travelled on a low budget for several years throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and parts of Africa often working in seasonal positions, like in fruit orchards, to sustain my travels. I began to spend more and more time in many wonderful places though volunteering in farms and eventually I came to the decision that I wanted to create a little Eden too; Somewhere I didn't have to leave and where I could put my own personal roots in the grou...

Our 164-acre ranch is located halfway between the Pacific Coast and the Rocky Mountains, right on a beautiful wilderness lake in the Nicola Valley. We lie in the heart of British Columbia’s big Ranching country and are surrounded by vast forests, rolling hills and boundless prairies where beavers, bears, moose and pumas still roam. Even a small herd of wild horses calls the area around Glimpse Lake their home. As "Private Cowboy and Country Club" we are offering services like property maintenance, boating, fishing, restaurant/bar, accommodations, etc. to our Ranch Residents and members only. Summer or winter, there’s always loads to do with a small herd of Black Angus cattle, miniature goats and chickens like mucking out and maintaining stalls, paddocks and fields. Calving season is particularly busy but also a very heart-warming time of the year with help needed caring for newborns and on occasion bottle feeding them. However, you do not need to have experience with animals to vo...

The permaculture project and the Farm develop in the social, historical and urban fabric of the town of Modica (RG), mainly between the Fontana, Dente and Pennino districts. We actively collaborate with other projects in the province, from which we learn a lot. We live a sober, frugal, healthy life. We follow, in a somewhat radical way, the ethics of Permaculture and many of its principles. After a period of training in horticulture and spiritual reconnection in the Loire in a Sōtō Zen temple, a PDC at Il Filo di Paglia (Comiso) and two years of agricultural experiences of the most varied in south-eastern Sicily, we feel ready to open ourselves to volunteers , willing and passionate who want to live, share and exchange within in this vibrant and beautiful setting. The Mediterranean Sea is just 20 minutes by train (Sampieri train station). We've got a 17th century house for the project (Oct. 2022), quite abandoned for more than one year: Plenty of work has been already done, some mino...

Come to share this human experience with us in the middle of the Peruvian jungle! We started to build our Eco Lodge in the Amazonas, at the edge of a river, with volunteers from all around the world and locals. The aim is to build a Center of Well Being, to create a community based on permaculture concepts, learn how to live sustainably, entertain, relax, heal, develop projects and express creativity. All kinds of help in Ecology, Bio Constructions, carpentry, gardening, teaching class for kids, reforestation, organic crops or cooking vegetarian meals is welcome. You will work 5h per day (from 7am to 12) and then you will be free to go to the river to play volleyball, football, slackline or just to relax in the amazon jungle. You could also visit the community we work with. You will learn a lot about living in the Amazon jungle in a good place to live off grid! Come join us in Iquitos, to participate to this great adventure! We already had the chance to work with more than 500 ...

EN ESPAÑOL..MAS ABAJO!!! Important * this is a place to learn about goats, not to make holidays. ** The minimum stay are 4 weeks. The reason is that takes a lot of work and time to explain the day-to-day processes to you, and for you to adapt to the daily routine. Normaly the 2 last weeks is the time when you beggin to understand and fully enjoy the farming action. Those persons who want to stay for more than a month to gain more knowledge and experience on the farm are the true profiles i am looking for. Visitors are wellcomed as long as they are independent, I can offer a room, but need a contribute in food. Good morning, my name is Juan (1975). I am a Sheperd who studied Forestry Technician and Philosophy. I have extensive experience in many types of jobs, as constructer, cook, electrician, plumber... I've been working all my life with gardens, orchards, phytotherapy, medicinal plants, bioconstruction This project beggan in March of 2012 when I found a piece of land to plant m...

Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Or you...

We offer a straightforward exchange: your work in return for food. If you value independence, don't mind routine tasks, love being surrounded by nature and embrace a self-directed way of living, this could be the perfect fit for you! -------------------------------------- 📢 📢 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

We have 2 pet dogs and a few working dogs as well as some very friendly pet sheep. Ch...

The region is beautiful and ideal for hiking, surfing (excellent spots all around our house), paddleboarding, etc. We can accommodate one or two people who would help us with a whole host of different tasks such as: - working together in the garden, - clearing the land, - weeding, - helping us build a gate, - installing the fences on our land, - building a mobile chicken coop, - building the composting area, - preparing and storing firewood, - doing some painting, - preparing meals together, - helping with supplies, etc. This list is not exhaustive; we adapt as the situation changes. There is always something to do around the house. We're looking for help 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. Accommodation and meals are provided, except on Sundays when meals are at your expense, allowing us to spend time with family and allowing you to explore our...

West Coast Canada Experience. Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. If you have a valid drivers license, and are staying for at least 2 months you may use one of our cars. This requires a discussion, and is on a case by case basis. April through October (Summer) - is the first opening we are looking for someone for now. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. On those mornings at 7:30 am we're in the kitchen preparing breakfast. 8:45 - 9:30 serving br...
