Ideally with with a vehicle, there is no public transport here. 3 week minimum stay (longer stays preferred) If you’re looking for a peaceful rural place where you’re treated as a valued part of the household — not just extra labour — you may feel very at home here. The village Ahrbrück is in the middle of Germany nestled in the beautiful red wine region known as Ahrtal, a few train stations (*) away from Koeln and Bonn. The landscape here is very green and lush offering a variety of options for local tourism and recreation. I am a 55 years old traveller, who studied fruit farming, and keen on house building. I travel a lot in winter to other places in Europe mostly with caravan, I did couchsurfing and made in Portugal Wwoofing last years. It`s okay if you don`t speak German, I am also an English and Spanish speaker. Now I`m currently in the process of making a transition in my life. I have a nice but unfinished house in Kesseling for gathering for artistic, and nature-loving people. It is a work in progress which requires both time and effort, and I need help to make my dream come true! So, if there are any Helpers out there interested in my project, I look forward to welcoming you into my home. Longer staying helpers can do art. I have ve...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

You can experience rural life in the east of Nepal and you can get a true sense of local rural life. Our village and its surroundings are quite green and it's known as the greenest district of Nepal as well as the tea paradise. If you like, you can do many activities here. Our home is situated on a 3 acre property north of Christchurch. It is 20 minutes to both the central city and the airport. We are a recently retired couple who enjoy cooking, meeting new people and living a peaceful life! We are looking for help with maintaining the house and garden. Presently this would include trimming, weeding, possibly wood stacking and clearing, and/or some housework, so a good level of fitness would help. The garden is well established with beautiful trees, shrubs, pond and many spaces for quiet reflection. We have one duck and various chooks. We'd like someone (or a couple) to work fours hours a day in exchange for a beautiful, comfortable environment, which includes spa and food. We generally take people for a week - this includes 2 days off. It would be ideal to have a car but we are happy to collect from the airport. We are one hour from the nearest ski field and 15 minutes from the township of Rangiora

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. Deutscher Text weiter unten. Hello, we're the Hagemann family. 5 years ago we took over the house with all the trimmings from our friends of the Lang family and would be happy about new/old helpers. We, that's Christian (59), Christine (54) and our 2 dogs. We also have some horses, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and a big garden. We're always looking for someone to do gardening and animal care and feeding Experience is good but not necessary. Skillful craftsmanship is advantageous. The requirement is 25 working hours per week, health insurance and the minimum stay should be 1 week. We are a non-smoking family, but the smokers who go outside are also welcome. In return, we offer an open-minded family, our own small apartment, many leisure activities and a private pool. We live in the countryside but still central, a shopping mall is nearby and the beach is not far away. Bicycles are available. If you have any questions, please contact us. -------- Hallo wir sind Familie Hagema...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. I am looking for crew to join us on a fantastic passage from Thursday Island (Horn Island) to Darwin. Regular flights run from Cairns to Horn Island, making it easy to join. This is a true bucket-list trip across the Gulf of Carpentaria and along the remote Arnhem Land coast — some of the most spectacular and least-visited waters in Australia. This is not a paid position. Everyone contributes to fuel, meal prep, and keeping the boat clean and tidy. In return you get an incredible sailing adventure through one of Australia’s most stunning and remote regions. Preferred: A couple or two friends who already get along well. Important: The entire schedule is 100% dictated by the weather — we only move when it’s safe and comfortable. Expected duration 3 - 4 weeks. If you have some sailing experience, a positive attitude, and want to be part of a great trip, send me a message! Tell me a bit about yourself, your sailing background (if any), and why you’d like to join. Looking forward to h...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Bush crash up the stream, swim at the beach across the road, come fishing with me on the kayaks. Take the bikes, pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter at The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into vast iconic views and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, we seriously need help with the massive task of @296: gardens to create & jungle to clear ! We are keen to host people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. I am a retired secondary school teacher and I love gardening, singing and playing guitar, hiking, presenting on community radio and travelling. I live in a lovely historic cottage on a large block with a permanent creek a few minutes walk from the centre of Willunga in South Australia. Willunga is a small country town in a wine growing region and is famous for its cafes and Saturday morning Farmers Market. My home is about 45 mins south of Adelaide and a short drive to the beach. I can provide a room within my house for one or two people and delicious vegetarian meals in exchange for working with me on improving my organic garden. I prefer to get requests for dates less than two weeks ahead and helpers that wish to stay from a few days up to one week. Sorry no smokers. ps I have a dog.

We moved to the our property 5 years ago, in a beautiful part of the world, the Northern Rivers, and are building our hobby farm. We would like help and to share this beautiful property and our journey. We are developing the property using permaculture principles and are aiming to increase the biodiversity and make the farm productive again. We have a large dam, a river borders on 2 sides, have a small, and growing rainforest and large paddocks. Help required on the looking after animals (sheep, goat, chickens, dogs), build veggie gardens, general garden maintenance, mowing (lots of mowing on ride on mower), tree removal and native tree planting (we planted over 1000 trees in 2024) and general building projects. The projects will depend on weather, skills and time available but can be tailored to suite what needs to be done and what you would like to do! We have had many birds make their home here, including kingfishers, ducks, herons, spoonbills, rainforest birds such as parrots. We...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Hi there Traveler We offer a farm stay with great views and good conversation. We chopped down a pine forest and replanted with Manuka about 4 years ago so it’s starting to look really great, and more native birds are about. Established a wetland reserve as well. Also we are developing another small retreat area that needs assistance with tracks and tree management. Some stock work is all so on offer but we will work with you all the time as it’s safer and more fun. cheers and safe travels Geoff and Declan

This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid August, in the middle of our best fishing season, wind permitting. Its also during what is normally our best weather. At least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. So anyone who loves fishing, snorkelling on inshore reefs and is good at DIY or carpentry and loves the simple, quiet, rural life by the beach, next to the rainforest, this is for you 🤗. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not r...

Looking for assistance NOW and from late March through summer 26. We moved north from Vancouver to escape the noise and the craziness and to find a spot to live in beauty. We found one and now are on the edge of nothing but more nothing all 400 km to the Pacific. We are 20 km outside of a small town halfway between nowhere and not much. Sharing that is a pleasure. Nearly everything we do now is in support of one thrill: adventures in food. But rural living out here in mid-nowhere means that there are endless other things to be tasked as well: construction, gardening, maintenance of many sorts, enhancing the natural beauty around us. Chances are that if you could describe a pure-fun, physical job, there would be something here I could offer that might satisfy those urges. If you want to work hard, eat marvelous meals and have a fabulous time in the gardens, the workshop and the kitchen, come join us and get a relaxing feel of rural life. PLUS, for all you thrill seekers/amateurs des s...

Cheers Al

In return, we offer an open-minded family, our own small apartment, many leisure activities and a private pool. We live in the countryside but still central, a shopping mall is nearby and the beach is not far away. Bicycles are available.
