Hello, We are a family who have been living in Brittany for a little over a year, specifically on Cap Sizun, west of Douarnenez. The region is beautiful and ideal for hiking, surfing (excellent spots all around our house), paddleboarding, etc. We can accommodate one or two people who would help us with a whole host of different tasks such as: - working together in the garden, - clearing the land, - weeding, - helping us build a gate, - installing the fences on our land, - building a mobile chicken coop, - building the composting area, - preparing and storing firewood, - doing some painting, - preparing meals together, - helping with supplies, etc. This list is not exhaustive; we adapt as the situation changes. There is always something to do around the house. We're looking for help 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. Accommodation and meals are provided, except on Sundays when meals are at your expense, allowing us to spend time with family and allowing you to explore our...

Hello. My name is Manon, and I am 33 years old. I live with my husband and my 1-year-old son, in a French old house. We have already renovated a large part of the house over the past two years. Now we're getting back to it with renewed enthusiasm :) I'm studying interior design and learning about traditional methods that are both durable and eco-friendly, so we can feel as comfortable as possible in this building. Anyone who wants to join us on this adventure is more than welcome :) We usually put together groups of volunteers to create fun and dynamic teams :-)

West Coast Canada Experience Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. If you have a valid drivers license, and are staying for at least 2 months you may use one of our cars. This requires a discussion, and is on a case by case basis. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. On those mornings at 7:30 am we're in the kitchen preparing breakfast. 8:45 - 9:30 serving breakfast to guests and interacting with Q&A and booking a few excursions. On most days when t...

We are Axel and Mônica (both 52). We are living in Portugal and our house with 3000 squaremeters of land is in a small village in the countryside of the beautiful Algarve. We can offer accommodation (bedroom - as you can see on the picture - and separate bathroom for you) and meals of course. Behind the village the mountains start, so here is a lot of nature, the beaches are 30km away. The next town (Messines) is 4km away, the next village about 1km. We need helpers mid o June 2026 for twonor three weeks for some work in our garden.. We prefer a couple or two friends, but if you are a single helper, you can contact us as well. We invite you to volunteer and participate in creating a unique experience with us this summer. We organise, build and run a unique, tented, sustainable venue - a temporary outdoor eco-village in the West of England. We’re looking for people who like working hard, having fun, and being part of a community to get involved. Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring! We are a temporary venue reflected by the three main phases of our season. The most diverse range of activities and greatest need for volunteers are during the setup and takedown of the site, but of course we also rely on our team of volunteers for the running of the events! You will be supported and encouraged to be involved in whatever you feel most comfortable doing, and we always appreciate new ideas and feedback - we are all about learning, participation, and celebration of individuals and community. The...

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live 20 minutes from Bilbao in a lovely town called Zalla. There is a good bus/train service to Bilbao. Volunteers also can visit, Santander, San Sebastian, Burgos, Pamplona either of these ci...

Looking for assistance NOW and from late March through summer 26. We moved north from Vancouver to escape the noise and the craziness and to find a spot to live in beauty. We found one and now are on the edge of nothing but more nothing all 400 km to the Pacific. We are 20 km outside of a small town halfway between nowhere and not much. Sharing that is a pleasure. Nearly everything we do now is in support of one thrill: adventures in food. But rural living out here in mid-nowhere means that there are endless other things to be tasked as well: construction, gardening, maintenance of many sorts, enhancing the natural beauty around us. Chances are that if you could describe a pure-fun, physical job, there would be something here I could offer that might satisfy those urges. If you want to work hard, eat marvelous meals and have a fabulous time in the gardens, the workshop and the kitchen, come join us and get a relaxing feel of rural life. PLUS, for all you thrill seekers/amateurs des s...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

A family of three and two friendly dogs live on-site in an Earthship, and we welcome volunteers who want to experience sustainable living in a beautiful high-desert landscape. Helpers stay in a comfortable 24‑foot yurt equipped with running water, WIFI, electricity, a wood stove, and composting toilets, with an outdoor shower. Fresh fruits and garden vegetables are available when in season. Our property includes 1.5 miles of trails that wind through a Sage Steppe ecosystem with stunning views of Baldy Mountain. Life here is community-oriented and relaxed, and we often gather for communal Sunday evening meals to share good food and conversation. Volunteer work varies depending on the season and current projects. Helpers may assist with a mix of hands-on building, land stewardship, and conservation efforts, including: - Earthship and rammed earth construction, animal-friendly fencing, gardening, wood collection, and general building tasks - Conservation work such as beaver dam analog...

Welcome to us! My home is a log cabin in the woods on an island in the middle of Norway´s largest lake. It is very quiet here so this is not the place for people looking for lots of fun. But if you are looking to escape the city, and you respect nature and enjoy the quiet around you, this is the place for you. We are 45 minutes from all the larger cities around the lake, including Lillehammer which was the home of the 1994 Winter Olympics. 1.5 hours from the airport Gardemoen and 2 hours from Oslo. At the moment I have several carpentry jobs I need help with. So hope there is someone with carpentry skills who could think to stay with us. I do not need anyone else at the moment except those with carpentry skills. I am a biological Mom to 3 kids(adults) who all live in Oslo now. I am also a foster mom for a 12 year old. I work in a Norwegian preschool but am currently not at work. We share our home with 4 cats and 3 dogs. I have done Helpx for years and had mostly good experien...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between now and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in retu...

We started our Vineyard back in 2004, it is located in a Beautiful,Quiet,Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom, great meals and WiFi. We also have two Female Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care t...

We have a family-run business in the Cisternino countryside, with holiday homes for tourists, riding stables and recreational activities. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. The farm is a diverse mix of organically produced vegetables, hemp and pasture raised animals. It is located in an area that is rich with local farms, breweries and food producers. The farm is located on the upper Lamiolle river and just 4 miles from beautiful Caspian Lake and Barr Hill Nature Perserve. Greensboro is the home of Jasper Hill Cellars, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Cirkus Simrkus, the Highland Center for the Arts and a whole lot more. We are 9 miles from Hardwick, dubbed the epicenter of the local food movement.

We are a couple with grown up Children who sometimes live here too. We live on 120 acres deep in the jarrah forest, very quiet and peaceful. We have market garden as well as run cattle and lots of pets.. goats, horses, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats.. the list goes on. We welcome people to share our farm life and participate in daily work... help required is varied and depends on your skills: but is mostly outdoors gardening, picking rhubarb, weeding, helping with general farm maintenance etc. ..There are plenty of opportunities to walk in the forest, swim or maybe work out in our home gym .....Stay is for a week initially and we are happy to negotiate longer stays if we all get along. In fact we really like longer stays.....Accom is in a self contained caravan near the house, with all food supplied and sharing some meals with the family, in return for working each morning with us..

Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We open our farm to the public in the summer to share our beautiful property and all our animals. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out of you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes fe...

We are located in the North of Rome, 20kms from the center of Rome, close to a train station and buses to Rome. We are looking for a kind, respectful, and open-minded person to join our family home through a cultural exchange and homestay experience. Our home includes a self-sufficient blind family member who lives independently and actively participates in daily family life. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and willing to become part of our household in a spirit of mutual support, cultural exchange, and collaboration. Help would mainly involve light household chores, occasional assistance with organization, errands, companionship, and general family collaboration. This is not a professional caregiving role, but rather an opportunity to share daily life as part of the family. We value kindness, communication, cultural exchange, inclusivity, and a positive attitude. In return, we offer a welcoming home environment, family connection, and the opportunity to ex...

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay, and currently we have space beginning July 1st. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. We prefer those who want to unplug and enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest. If you are open minded, love to be out doors, want to get your ha...

Volunteer Opportunity in at eco-village in Denmark We are looking for longer term volunteers (2-12 months ideally but at least 1 month) as well as potential community members, who are ready to dedicate their energy and skills to help to build up our Eco-village. Prior experience and skills are appreciated, but your motivation to learn and to grow is the most important things. We are only able to receive volunteers from European countries due to visa requirements and tax rules of Denmark. Our place an aspiring eco-village in Denmark, is in the process of building up a co-housing community, a People's College (højskole) and several green projects. Our Ecovillage (established1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). Our 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world. We work within intercultural/intergenerational/interfaith/inter-nation restorative justice framework on our farm and work with research teams on soil/wastewater/energy systems design/etc, and permaculture education projects with learners from local to global! This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism &...

(français ensuite) Hello, We are a French couple living in the small village of Loubieng in the southwest of France. We are Anaïs and Arnaud, both 38 years old. Anaïs works in ecopsychology and ecology. Arnaud is a cabinetmaker and carpenter. Arnaud is renovating our future home: an old 19th-century Béarn farmhouse, and we are currently preparing to set up his woodworking workshop. We would be delighted to welcome a person or couple to help us with this stage, as the work is not feasible on our own! The tasks are physically demanding, so we are looking for someone who is motivated! There are also things to do in the garden (mulching, watering, planting, etc.) for those with a green thumb or who simply want to learn with Anaïs. Arnaud has previous experience as an eco-construction instructor and enjoys sharing his knowledge. In exchange for 4 hours of work per day, Monday to Friday, we will offer you a quiet space in a comfortable caravan, as well as breakfast and lunch, primarily...

Hi, we are a family that lives in the south of Italy in the beautiful region of Puglia; in the countryside but not too far from the sea. We have a family-run business in the Cisternino countryside, with holiday homes for tourists, riding stables and recreational activities. Looking for a person who can help in various activities; really interested in the life of the campaign and learning different tasks such as: carpentry, wrought iron, construction, painting, maintenance of the garden and agriculture, but also request for help in the relationship and management of tourists who stay with us. Excellent opportunity for those looking for complete experiences in the field of crafts and tourism and in the relationship with nature and animals. Having 4 children already, we only look for completely independent and flexible people. Musicians and artists in general are welcome (Juan the owner is also a musician). There is a chance to learn how to work wood and iron and many other things. It's ...
