***UPDATE FEB 2026*** Looking for new helpers from April 2026! We are located in the beautiful “Wiehengebirge” (Wiehen Hills) in North-Rhine-Westphalia. The closest bigger city is Bielefeld. Our family consists of me, Liina (54), my husband Markus (52), our two daughters, Eliis and Helina (both 25). Our daughters are already old enough to lead their own life, usually outside of Germany, but luckily, they come for a visit every once in a while. The Ranch has over 50 horses, of which one is ours. Our primary focus is providing shelter and care for horses that belong to our clients. Please note that these horses are privately owned and not available for riding. We appreciate your understanding! Our farm is fairly big, and we need to take care of it every day. Markus is mostly responsible for agriculture and horses (feeding and shelter), while I spend time in the house, cooking, cleaning, gardening, and doing office work. Our work is mainly on the property, and harvesting and selling po...

We are a dad & sometimes daughter (17! ;), living on a 60 acre mountain top with distant 360 degree views of both the Green & White Mountains. From sunrise to sunset we are having fun and loving the land, with tons of hiking/biking trails, and a nearby connection to a 25 mile network. There's generally a refreshing breeze here, but when it gets too warm we head down to our stream & spring fed pond, which is a piece of heaven -- deep and cool. Our whole mountain is magical, with strong meridians, and located in a very artsy & progressive part of southern Vermont. And yes, there's a lot involved in being good stewards, even though we are not a commercial farm, so we have many diverse projects, and you might assist in managing our generous garden, making meals, clearing land, nurturing the flower beds, painting, bucking up or stacking firewood, routine cleaning & maintenance, doing arts & music with Luna, or building a steam hut or other structures, for several hours most days. If you ha...

We are a family of four, with two young kids, 5 and 7. We live in Uchaud, where is 10 mins to Nîmes, 30 mins to beach and 50 mins to Montpellier by car. There are bus and train (however, the train is not so frequent). We are a family who travel a lot. We like to meet people and learn about your culture. At the same time, it is our pleasure to let you experience a french stay here. Me, I come from Hong Kong. My husband is a French. Definitely, you will experience both the East and West culture here. We love the nature and the sunshine. You can enjoy the energy of the South of France here. I love cooking. You will have plenty of Asian cooking, of course, some occidental cooking too. Our house is on renovation. My husband is kind of professional in it. The work of second floor is soon to be finished by him. Your own room is ready for your stay. Most of the work is on the ground floor, then will be a bit in the garden. At last is the finalisation of the second floor. For the core ren...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We offer a straightforward exchange: your work in return for food. If you value independence, don't mind routine tasks, love being surrounded by nature and embrace a self-directed way of living, this could be the perfect fit for you! ---- 📢 📢 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. The accommodations and kitchen are separate for helpers cooking with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay. Hope you can make it here.

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM THE BEGINNING OF MARCH. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, ...

A small picturesque farm situated on a river between two big forested national parks in East Gippsland. Witchwood is tucked into the hills just below the Errinundra plateau which is a stronghold of old growth forests, tall wet eucalypt forests, rare wildlife and rainforests. The remote settlement of Goongerah has a population of about 30 people but no shops, TV or mobile reception (it does have satellite internet and landline phones). The property is run organically and has a large food production and preserving set-up; vegie gardens, orchard, chickens, geese and dairy goats, as well as two Clydesdale horses, two dogs and even free-range guinea pigs in the orchard. Self-sufficient in fruit, veggies, eggs and milk. Still working on chocolate. Have piano but no time to learn - so piano players welcome! Property is 100% solar powered. A lot of my time is spent working to protect the East Gippsland forests from clearfell logging and woodchipping - a big task! Political leanings - Da...

Hi, I’m Danilo , caretaker of a small refuge hidden in the mountains near Palermo, surrounded by the unspoiled nature of Sicily. Our place stretches over one and a half hectares of terraced land with stone walls, olive trees, fruit trees, pines, and two gentle streams flowing through it. You can easily reach us by bus from Palermo’s main train station to the nearby village of Montelepre. After restoring the old buildings with eco-friendly materials, we’re now embracing the principles of permaculture to bring new life to this land. Our dream is to create a place that inspires and unites: a small center for people who care about the Earth, a space to slow down, recharge, and make a positive impact on the Planet. We take care of the olive grove — pruning, harvesting, and maintaining the land to prevent fires, often with the cheerful help of our two donkeys. We gather firewood for the winter, produce honey following natural beekeeping methods, and distill a few essential oils. Part of our ...

Hello travellers, and a warm welcome to beautiful Olinda - I am Vita and delighted to host you. **Currently seeking Helper/s who can work in the garden or use a chainsaw to cut fire wood. Or a carpenter who can help repair weather damaged external timber windows. Or someone with mechanical experience to service chainsaw and lawn mowers. Weeding and garden work is always a go-to if you are waiting instructions. Helpers will sometimes be left to work by themselves as I don’t always have time to supervise them. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

VOLUNTEER WHILE EXPERIENCE OUR LOCAL LIFE, HELP AND SUPPORT TO EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN FOR THEIR BETTER FUTURE. We are situated in north Arusha. It's one hour by bus from the city center. In most local families in our community there are many children and youth who don't have motivation with education, even their parent they are not motivated to take them to school, therefore you will see many children and youth in the street loosing opportunity of getting education. Our project is alternative way to educate and motivate these Children to have equal opportunity of getting better education. Since we started this program we saw alot of changes and the children are motivated to come and learn to our school. I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

We are a young french couple with a child Eleo (2,5years) who are living in the Hautes-Pyrénées, near Lannemezan. Fabien is mountain guide, and Charlene is farmer. We have a big garden with medicinals plants and vegetables. We are experimenting different ways to cultivate. We are always satisfied to learn various agricultural technicals. It is important for us to use all the resources that we have on the spot, plants, trees, compost, shearing, rather than to bring elements from outside. We sell our production with two market by week so it's lot of work! We have 15 cheeps, lots of chickens and 4 cats. And we have 15 dunkeys of Pyrénées in the place to eat grass and to work with Fabien for montain trecking. You will like it here! In February we need help in our garden with shredding and sawing branches, stacking wood and so on. We are a little unconventional community of 4 persons (66,65,71,74), 1 friendly dog and 2 playful cats and we live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden. Our children are on their own, but they sometimes visit us. We raise our own organic vegetables in several raised beds and normal garden beds. There is always something to do in the garden and around the house or walking the dog, cleaning windows and so on... We live in a small rural village in the beautiful hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt can be visited easily. There is a good public transportation to all these cities. The Odenwald is a famous hiking region and ideal for mountain biking, a bike is available. There is a climbing rock not far from our house. We speak English quite fluently and some French. We are located on the Vatnsnes Peninsula, 25km north of road no. 1. Ósar ocean beach is full of life. Seals abound and also eider ducks and other birds, and the rock Hvítserkur, which resembles a prehistoric Dinosaur, is within walking distance. The unspoiled nature, peaceful environment and a variety of recreation opportunities makes this an ideal place. In only about 5 min walk you are in unusually close contact with nature. Here guests can see a number of different birds and one of Iceland`s biggest colonies of seals, swimming only a few meters from the beach. We are offering a help exchange, we are offering helpers to come and stay with us in exchange for help on the farm, or with the Hostel.. That could be helping cleaning rooms, or doing reception, on the farm it could be fence work, or helping with the animals. A superb place for nature lovers

We will be providing very simple rooms and typical Nepali food normally but also others will be available occasionally. I moved out of countryside a year ago to Kathmandu City in hope of doing something nice in life and now I'm planning to start up my own little restaurant and for that I'm seeking for someone to help me prepare things like making decorations out of recycled or any other house decors such as paintings sketches and so on. The restaurant is yet not started but I want to keep everything ready in advance as it might take some time to make them up cycling used items.

We are a young family that, in the beginning of 2020, left the city life behind to start a green self-experiment in a countryside in Brazil. As we follow the Permaculture principles, our goal is to learn together, share our experience, produce food and enrich the biodiversity of the land. We are a family of four, but we have two people working here as well. We speak Portuguese, English, Dutch, German and Latvian (Lettish). This volunteer program is a real hands-on experience in agroforestry and organic farming. Also, it is a way to stay away from the hectic world, live in an international community and reconnect with nature. Exchange: We ask for USD$10 per day for a comfortable accommodation and food for the week. As a volunteer within our volunteer program, you will stay in the newly renovated and very comfortable guest house. It has 3 bedrooms - two of them shared ones, each with two single beds and one single room, one bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen with a beautiful dining area...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

Transforming a summer house into a place for living organically. Now the winter of our discontent is ending, transformed into a glorious spring by this Galician sun; and ....sometimes, the clouds that darkened our home disappear into the deep heart of the flat lands.... So it's time to get to work in the garden and lay cement in some places. Some tasks (not all) can be somewhat boring such as cutting and stacking firewood, removing, digging, collecting vegetable remains,... I appreciate the dexterity in physical and manual works and you need to be fit and able to use your strength efficiently. Hi, I'm looking for creative minds efficient bodies who would like to get involved on an sustainable country house project, with some animals and plenty of work to do. There's a protected little forest surrounding the house with small wild animals, and 6 domestic geese, chickens, dogs and two cats. I need help with many things; work on the greenhouse which I have designed by myself, plant...

I appreciate self-starters and Helpers with initiative, who do not always need to be told what to do and are capable of putting in a full days work. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions).

You will like it here! In February we need help in our garden with shredding and sawing branches, stacking wood and so on. We are a little unconventional community of 4 persons (66,65,71,74), 1 friendly dog and 2 playful cats and we live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden.

I am a retired secondary school teacher and I love gardening, singing and playing guitar, hiking, presenting on community radio and travelling. I live in a lovely historic cottage on a large block with a permanent creek a few minutes walk from the centre of Willunga in South Australia. Willunga is a small country town in a wine growing region and is famous for its cafes and Saturday morning Farmers Market. My home is about 45 mins south of Adelaide and a short drive to the beach. I can provide a room within my house for one or two people and delicious vegetarian meals in exchange for working with me on improving my organic garden. I prefer helpers that wish to stay for a few days up to one week. If you are interested in staying please email your phone number and I will contact you. ps I have a dog.
