A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Looking for a helper for APRIL and JUNE 2026 please and thank you! I used HelpX quite a lot back in 2014, while I was backpacking around Australia and had some great experiences and some wonderful hosts and I'm looking forward to meeting more wonderful people and being a wonderful host! I bought a fixer upper house in 2023, moved in 2024 and have been renovating it to turn it into a small bespoke massage and yoga training centre ever since. Currently renovating the kitchen and side room (see floor plans). While I'm renovating the house I'm working in a children's nursery as lunch cover/supply staff. I'm at work for 3-6 hours a day and out of the house for an extra hour while walking to and from work. I get up around 7am to feed the cats and myself. Monsieur Cuddles will usually request to leave his room around 6am, so I let him roam the house for an hour before breakfast. The main job is simply to sleepovernight in Monsieur Cuddles' bedroom (see pic of pink bedroom) and keep him ...

Rob and I bought a big old house, in a small village, with its own grounds, in December 2019, with plans to make it a home and a guest house. We have down a lot of work so far to refurbish, paint, decorate, all by ourselves.... And have started to welcome guests. We have now one room in the main house and a small side house for seasonal rentals. We have many projects in mind for the future, like renovating a building to make it a small café and a gite ! We do need help with the garden and maintaining the grounds, as we have a huge 7200m2 garden! And we need people with any skill and experience that could help with the projects listed above. We could accomodate 1 person in a private bedroom, in the main house, meals during the working days. 2 or 3 days off if you wish to go away for long weekends ! . There would be no meals during the days off if you stay home, but you will have the use of a fridge and kitchen, and free to feel at home. That is flexible as well of course. Dependin...

Welcome! I am Fern. I live together with my 3 year old daughter on our small, off grid and very humble farmlet in Guildford, Central Victoria. Guildford is home to one of Victoria's largest river red gums. It is over 500 years old. It's a very small town with only a general store, primary school & pub, half way between Castlemaine & Daylesford. We have been on this land for 1 and a half years & have started using permaculture principals & design. So far, we have completed the fence line, (to keep the rabbits out) & joyously have begun some planting both in the food forest, cottage garden & in the veggie patch. We always have seeds growing in our tiny greenhouse. Fern has a background in florist & plant nursery work and has completed a PDC. Currently a full time Mama, her interest lie in walking softly on this earth, while the little one loves watching the abundant birdlife in our vast open skies! I love kirtan and am busy immersing ourselves in the local community. There maybe a proj...

We are a family of four living on a lifestyle block in the beautiful Wairarapa, with the entrance to the Tararua Forest park just up the road. There you will find some great tramping, walking, mountain biking and a cool swing bridge across the river and a great swimming hole during summer. On our block we have a small herd of cattle, some sheep and a pony along side many birds living in the local landscape. We are presently looking for helpers for painting, gardening and always need help with firewood, gardening, riparian planting and general help (maybe some pony care for helpers who love horses) for an average of four hours a day in exchange for food and accommodation. The accommodation best suits a couple. We are 15 mins drive from Greytown and Carterton. Non-smokers only please. Please let us know if you have any special food requirements or allergies which might need to be considered during your stay.

We used to have Helpers stay regularly when we lived on a farm in the Hawkesbury (see reviews). We have moved and now live in the beautiful Hunter Valley, on 1/2 an acre in the village of Ellalong, only 1.5-2hrs from Sydney and 1hr from Newcastle. Cleaning, gardening, clearing and maintenance volunteer work (4hrs/day) in exchange for breakfast, dinner and accommodation. Short and long term stays. Closest public transport is 2mins away servicing the nearby town of Cessnock (10mins by car). People who stay with us usually finish their volunteer work early and then often go exploring the local region - wine tasting in the vineyards, Watagan Mountains trails, horse riding, bush walking etc etc, or go into the city for the day. Private bedroom with bathroom, separate to owners. WIFI available. NO smoking, drugs. Responsible alcohol consumption. We have 2 pets - an Aussie Shepherd and a tabby/tortoise-shell cat. Both stay outside. Best contact is via email. YOU ARE WELCOME! :)

I am a retired man from Germany 71 years old, living with my 2 dogs on lovely Orange Garden, West Coast of Peloponese. Most of the work will involve gardening, like planting, pruning, harvesting oranges and olives. Other work includes tidying up the place, general household chores, painting building and maintenance of the 8 bungalows I rent to tourists. I ask for 4-5 hours a day, 1 or 2 days free for your own. Low season helpers can use a bungalow for accommodation. You might cater for yourself or join me for meals. WiFi internet is available. Ideally volunteers would be over 25 years, have some knowledge of general maintenance and gardening. The bus stop is 500m from home, the 70km beach of Kyparissia Kolpos is about 2,5km. See my homepage. I am fluent in German, English and Greek. I am looking forward to your visit.

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. ABOUT THE PLACE AND MYSELF. A warm welcome to all those people who wants to share a transition towards sustainability and ecological life In 2010 me and my partner decided to quit our jobs and buy a small piece of land facing Mt. Etna and the Mediterranean sea. The garden was owned by Don Alfio, who was giving us all his personal know-how on how to run a vegetable garden, maintain an olives orchard and making wine. The garden has 120 olive trees, 100 various fruit trees, a small vineyard and a vegetable garden. Here we produce a small amount of organic Olive Oil EVO, Natural Red Wine and the veggies necessary to our diet. My project want to involve as many persons as possible to choose an ecological way of life for the future of our planet. WHAT WE DO WITH THE VOLUNTEERS. I try to always work aside with volunteers, sharing my knowledge about how to live in a more sustainable way. The timetable can not be perfectly fixed in advance as it depends from the kind of work we are going to...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

Looking for help in the garden for a week or so between 27 April to 12 May. We are on a two acre property, in South Gippsland, near Wilsons Promontory, with two golden retrievers and a bordoodle, a cat, chickens, Alpacas, sheep and bees. We currently have a large pile needing mulching, wood to cut up and some gardening. I am looking for some help with these jobs around the property for around 10 hours a week. Otherwise you would be free to explore this lovely area. Wilson's Prom is one of Australia's loveliest national parks, surrounded by a wild coastline. We have two guest rooms and separate bathroom, with private kitchen and living area available on these dates.

I live on an organic farm about 15km from Kerikeri. It's a short walk to Lake Manuwai which is great for swimming and kayaking. There are beautiful bushwalks close by, a canyon and the Kauri forest. I am developing the property by planting a native forest, a vinyard, fruit and vegetables. For around 4 hours help mostly outside (weather dependent) you get good food and accommodation with your own room and bathroom. I love eating good food, yoga, fishing, swimming, travelling, music and good company.

If you would like a homely, wondrous Blue Mountains experience, nestled in nature, without being surrounded by tourists, you’re welcome to stay with us. You will relax and unwind here, sit in front of the fire in the evenings, drink tea, go on bushwalks, watch the alpacas, and share stories. Then wake to amazing sunrises! Especially quiet for those that have just come from a Vipassana meditation retreat. If you're a rock climber, you can walk to crags at Shipley and Centennial Glen. We have two alpacas, some chickens, and two indoor cats. We live in a new house on a two acres, next to the Blue Mountains National Park. Amazing bushwalks begin at our home. Walk to Govetts Leap waterfall, Evans Lookout, the Grand Canyon, and Blue Gum Forest. We need ENERGETIC help in the yard, mainly splitting firewood.

Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai.

There are lots of small jobs, all requiring good strong MUSCLES. We also need help with BUSH REGENERATION because there are weeds that have invaded the rare and endangered hanging s...
