We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

Are the 2 of you 30 or older, all around good at woodwork, handy and happy? This might be something for you! We are situated "off the grid" on the Costa Maya beach, 5 km south of Mahahual town, Quintana Roo, México. The Costa Maya is still a very natural environment with the 2nd largest barrier reef in front and a huge area of mangrove and wetlands behind. With the two of us we run a small cozy restaurant, open in the evenings where our international guests come and enjoy a freshly prepared meal and good company. Furthermore we have 1 rental unit in our flower-full garden. Our place runs 99% on solar plus we catch our own rainwater. A sustainable system as far as reality allows us. In your free time you might want to go fishing, for a snorkel, dive or kayak tour just of our beach? You have min. 2 weeks time and want to help us 5 hours for 5 days a week in exchange for accommodation and 2 (non vegan) meals on volunteering days, then contact us. Safe travels! Justa

Come stay on a beautiful bush property! PLEASE NOTE: BECAUSE WE ARE 7.5 KM FROM THE NEAREST BUS STOP, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT. We are working towards a self sufficient organic lifestyle on a bush property 35 minutes from Hobart. One of us is a freelancer in the social services, one is a retired meteorologist, and one is a retired organic gardener. We are all very politically engaged and environmentally conscious, and our objective is to create a safe and nourishing space for both humans and native wildlife.

** UPDATE- we are not taking anyone atm We’re a relaxed family of three (Jordan, myself, Mish and our son, Nico 6) living in the central Auckland suburb of Morningside, with easy access to buses and trains and close to local cafés, zoo, parks and the city. We’re looking for a bit of help with light gardening, painting, sanding, painting and small projects around the house. In exchange, we offer comfortable accommodation for 2 hours of help per day. Your area is completely seperate and has a small bathroom, fridge, toaster, jug, microwave and air-fryer. Our place is small so ideally cooking will be kept separate. We also share our home with a friendly Labradoodle dog, Pepi and a cat, Gavin, so you’ll need to be happy around animals. We enjoy meeting people from different places and creating a welcoming, easy-going environment for our helpers, but we are also busy, working and keeping up with our sons activites.

We have many projects on the go and we can offer a wide range of experiences, from indoors decorating to full on gardening in barren spaces or in a veggie garden. I like to scythe, and am happy to teach this ancient skill. We run a bike shop in a narrow old red brick building and are steadily refurbishing the building while keeping the shop open. We are working to conservation standard, using lime mortar and traditional methods. Our shop is around 150 years old and we want to preserve its character as much as possible. We can teach how to slake hot-lime and mix for different applications. We hope to open a cafe-bar at some point. At home we are working towards being off-grid: digging a well and getting a pump working, increasing solar hot water capacity and installing photo-voltaic panels. We have a large garden and are planting trees for food and wildlife. We enjoy life: working hard, meeting new people and cycling around the South West, especially if it involves a good Somerset pu...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

If you would like a homely, wondrous Blue Mountains experience, nestled in nature, without being surrounded by tourists, you’re welcome to stay with us. You will relax and unwind here, sit in front of the fire in the evenings, drink tea, go on bushwalks, watch the alpacas, and share stories. Then wake to amazing sunrises! Especially quiet for those that have just come from a Vipassana meditation retreat. If you're a rock climber, you can walk to crags at Shipley and Centennial Glen. We have two alpacas, some chickens, and two indoor cats. We live in a new house on a two acres, next to the Blue Mountains National Park. Amazing bushwalks begin at our home. Walk to Govetts Leap waterfall, Evans Lookout, the Grand Canyon, and Blue Gum Forest. We need ENERGETIC help in the yard, mainly splitting firewood. There are lots of small jobs, all requiring good strong MUSCLES. We also need help with BUSH REGENERATION because there are weeds that have invaded the rare and endangered hanging s...

Hi, we're Marlis and Henry. We live in a house with a garden in Ahrensburg near Hamburg. Since we recently moved here, we have various projects in the house and garden that we would appreciate some help with. Current projects include trimming bushes and hedges, tending flowerbeds, laying paving slabs, clearing out the basement, and smaller painting projects.... We're hosting one person or two friends / a couple. Since we were helpers ourselves, we know your site and want you to have a good time too :). We're currently transitioning between studies and careers – Marlis is an aircraft engineer and Henry is a social scientist. Depending on the length of your stay, you're welcome to organize your working hours (20-25 hours per week) flexibly. We’re hosting for short terms only - maximum 2 weeks. We'll do the shopping: breakfast is help yourself; if we can manage it, we'll cook a hot meal for everyone at lunch (or sometimes in the evening) - however, there may also be days when you cook yo...

I am an Irish filmmaker, recently relocated to France. I have just bought a 150 year old French Manor House(20+ rooms) and two giant barns, which I am converting into an independent film studio, as well as a recording studio and artists studios. I plan to run Kino Kabaret filmmaking events here as well as writer retreats and film industry masterclasses. I also plan to hold outdoor theatre in the summer. I also love to cook and try new dishes so look forward to cooking with travellers. Outside there is an in ground swimming pool which needs to be repaired in time for summer Inside the house it is mainly painting and decorating as I bring the various salons and bedrooms back to their former glory. I need to lay floor tiles in a few rooms and wood in a couple more. In the barns I need help building a 30 seat cinema/screening room, editing suites as well as the recording studio. Our property is located on the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park. We are about 2km from the township of Wentworth Falls, 4km from Leura and 6km from Katoomba, so best suited to those who have their own transport. It is our family home but we also let our Gatehouse out through Airbnb (you can view this from the website link). Our property is comprised of a couple of acres of garden, some paddocks and the rest is bush. We have a dog and a few chickens. We are also beekeepers. We are close to some excellent walks and we have a couple of mountain bikes available. We are currently looking for help with gardening, cleaning, animal care, renovation work and meal prep. Please note that we eat meat. If you are vegetarian, you need to tell us in advance, so we can plan accordingly. Work is very flexible depending on the weather and what needs to be done, but we generally aim to do a few hours in the morning and have afternoons free. Version française plus bas. __________________________________ Hello! We moved from Germany four years ago to the beautiful Gaspé-coast. We’re located 5km from the sea and we live midst a community of young people. Who’s “we”? Well, it’s Catherine (33 years old), Olaf (43 years old), Mathis (3 years) and Artemis, our cat. We're currently awaiting a second child that should be born this summer. We try to be as self-sufficient as possible on the food and work in our garden to make it a little bigger each year. We grow organic (not certified) vegetables of all kinds, berries, medicinal herbs, perennials and more. We also have a wood lot close by. We try to make our own seeds as much as possible and start our own seedlings in spring for the garden and the greenhouse. We also transform our harvest by drying, fermenting, canning, making juice etc. Of course there is always things to do around the house and inside, too. So there is always some extra hands needed. Our handcraft-projects incl...

We run a well-known organic market garden in the Alpes Maritime, right on the Riviera coast and the Italian border. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and popular with tourists. Our garden is on mountain terraces above the town, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 to the old town. Access is easy by train or bus from Nice or Italy. For the next 5 months we are looking for hands-on and experienced support with a number of urgent tasks. This could be a paid situation for an experienced person willing to contract for the season which ends 30 September. The work includes sowing, planting, fertilising, harvesting for market, basic landscaping, fencing, irrigation repair and DIY/maintenance and will probably best suit a fit and younger male helper. We may also take 1 or 2 experienced volunteers for shorter periods. As a produce grower, our crops include organic lemons, oranges, avocados, vegetables. Leaf crops and herbs. These we sell at a combination of local market, hig...

Hi, we're Marlis and Henry. We live in a house with a garden in Ahrensburg near Hamburg. Depending on the length of your stay, you're welcome to organize your working hours (20-25 hours per week) flexibly. We’re hosting for short terms only - maximum 2 weeks.
