I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We farm sheep and beef in the heart of the Catlins, in Tawanui at the start of the popular Catlins river walk. The farm consists of sheep, cattle, four rideable horses and some coloured pet Gotland sheep along with an array of wild deer roaming the hill. Help will consist of some stock work, some fencing, maintenance of all sorts, gardening, firewood and general helping around the house. Always having fun and a good laugh as we work. I don't travel so its nice to meet people from all walks of life and learn about there culture. If you are keen for some work, and want to meet some locals and enjoy the breath taking Catlins, please get in contact.

I live with my 6 dogs on a lovely farm in Ballynacally, 15km from Ennis town. It is a full working farm on ca.80 acres. I breed different types of sheep, and cattle. I also have 7 Irish Draft horses, which could be ridden if the person has enough experience. Help is needed with the maintenance of the farm e.g. light gardening, cleaning and general upkeep of the place. Also of course helping with the Horses, Cattle and Sheep. If you fancy seeing the Cattle mart, having nice party's, learning about farming and meeting random people and if you are a humorous, happy, independent person I will be glad to have you stay at my place. Accommodation is in a small apartment with kitchen and bathroom. Heating is provided by a wood burning stove. The apartment has character, is colorful with some musical instruments. Even though there is a small kitchen in the apartment I do prefer to take meals with the helpers who stay here. And if you would like to cook some specialty from your region I will b...

We've lived overseas for many years, including time in South America, Asia and the Middle East, and returned 15 years ago to start our 'off grid adventure'. Having 'internationalized' it's been time to put some roots down (literally) in a sustainable, creative and co-evolutionary way. These days we're a family of four (kids aged 13 and 10) with 3 dogs/chickens/guinea pigs. We speak some Spanish and a little Japanese and would receive foreigners eagerly (also fellow NZers of course). We're one hour's drive from the nearest towns (Kaitaia and Kerikeri) although a small organic co-op is twenty-five minutes away. Neighbours include a Bee-Keeper and his family, artists, potters and homesteaders, some of whom are open to receiving helpers who may wish to spend more time in the area. People wishing to learn about setting up off-grid so that they can do so themselves would be able to pick up valuable skills at our place. Helpers stay in either a fifteen by eight foot caravan with solar power...

Thanks to all the helpers that have given us a hand. We close for the Winter months and look for help again in March 2026. So if you are self motivated and planning ahead, send us a message and we will get back to you. We are in the countryside, a bus passes our gate 3 times a day. There are a few bicycles to borrow. Lovely walks through the Woods. Take a day trip to see Cliffs of Moher, visit Galway. Listen to Irish music in one of our local pubs. You can help out in the Garden, chopping wood, watering plants and vegetables to light domestic duties. When we get time we get more creative as it's a big property and there is always something to do. You will live in your own quarters with other volunteers. Food is included. Also WIFI. The day typically starts at 11am and finishes 4pm with a break in-between. Two days off to go and explore the area. We prefer to get people for a minimum of 3 weeks stay. Let us know if you are interested and message us with your profile.

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. In time, want to transition the farms to more of a communal space. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I am currently converingt to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. We harvest a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. For a long-term (and possibly lifetime) stay, I would particularly interested in these 3 individuals: 1. Someone to manage the livestock, including monthly shots for the alpacas 2. Someone to process and market the alpaca fibre 3. Someone to manage the lit...

Our 164-acre ranch is located halfway between the Pacific Coast and the Rocky Mountains, right on a beautiful wilderness lake in the Nicola Valley. We lie in the heart of British Columbia’s big Ranching country and are surrounded by vast forests, rolling hills and boundless prairies where beavers, bears, moose and pumas still roam. Even a small herd of wild horses calls the area around Glimpse Lake their home. As "Private Cowboy and Country Club" we are offering services like property maintenance, boating, fishing, restaurant/bar, accommodations, etc. to our Ranch Residents and members only. Summer or winter, there’s always loads to do with a small herd of Black Angus cattle, miniature goats and chickens like mucking out and maintaining stalls, paddocks and fields. Calving season is particularly busy but also a very heart-warming time of the year with help needed caring for newborns and on occasion bottle feeding them. However, you do not need to have experience with animals to vo...

We have availability from March 2026. This is what we are about in a nutshell: We are about inner peace for a compassionate world. You will be helping us to prepare this place for residential retreat and short break visitors to open fully in 2026. We will be hosting well-being, personal-development, meditation and similar groups as well as some guests who are holidaying in the area. It will be run as a community interest company. During the Summer / Autumn 2025 we are doing a lot of internal building work [taking down and building new timber stud walls, putting plaster boards up] and decorating [painting walls]. So plenty of opportunity to increase your practical skills and gain experience in renovating. We will put a green house up, preparing the grounds for a work shed and there is always some strimming to do, We value authenticity, integrity, honesty and self-awareness. We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

Located in Mani, in the very south of mainland Greece, about 300m above sea level in the foothills of the Taygetos mountain range, overlooking the Messinian Gulf you'll find my 3ha of half olive grove, interspersed with native trees and the other half a naturally grown woodland. I have converted to organic status and returned the land to traditional farming methods, next is growing fruit and vegetables and perhaps keeping some livestock.. The work in hand is varied and includes the maintenance of trees and harvest of olives, clearing land, rebuilding dry stone walls and housing. I aim to combine traditional materials, from sustainable resources, and recycled materials wherever possible and would welcome your help at any time of year, especially though at harvest time Nov.-Feb. In general I prefer longer stays, at least 2 weeks, longer after a trial period. Update: The PV park is up and running for some years now. The house is as good as finished, using mainly locally sourced and re-us...

ENGLISH VERSION Here we live in an ancient school in the mountains of north Ardeche (1350m) ! My name is Etienne (35years old) and i live there since two years with Lena (27years old) who joined me two years ago and many people who join us throughout the year. Actually we are approximatly 7 to 10 people living here . it's a pretty remote place (closest supermarket is 30 min driving) but there is often people passing by (friends, neighbor, unkowns...). Most of the place is in a good state but there is still some work to do(paintings, coating, roof fixing, isolation...), so we would need a little help for the place to be able to welcome more people, and make our daily life better. The amout of work needed from helpers would be pretty low (around one or two hours a day), We want a little help but we want at first sharing our life with new people and have a good time. We dont have so much money and we try to repair the School with less euros as possible, with second use materials ...

We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples. Feel free to write us an Email! It's possible to contact us early, that's not a problem!

West Coast Canada Experience Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. If you have a valid drivers license, and are staying for at least 2 months you may use one of our cars. This requires a discussion, and is on a case by case basis. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. We are restoring an old traditional Béarnaise house located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ouzom valley. We want to share it with people who can help us with the garden as well as with the house to maintain or restore it. Assistance activities concern the maintenance or restoration of buildings (lime plaster, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc), maintenance of the garden (brush clearing) and its vegetable garden, whether it is windy or raining, depending on the projects in progress and the skills of each. Slug hunting to be planned every evening at nightfall. Once a week a complete cleaning of the premises will be carried out by all. We ask for 5 hours help a day, 5 days a week. We offer accommodation in a large 4-bed dormitory. Please, bring your work gloves and clothes , if you have any. Everyone must be autonomous and responsible enough to know how to clean and store the tools or things they have used, as well as to participate daily, outside helping time, in all the househo...

Our family runs a western riding facility with 30 stalls, where we provide horse boarding and training, including reining and cow work. We also have a western saloon, where we host weddings, special events, and are open for our club members on weekends. In return for cleaning out stalls and feeding horses (and the odd other job), we offer room and board, sorry we cannot host vegetarians; we include you in family activities and you have the possibility to improve your riding skills in western riding (cow work and reining) in our 30 x 60 m arena and - how about -learning some line dancing!! A bicycle is available, if you want to explore the near surroundings. We are located close to Switzerland, it`s about a 15 minutes car ride to Basle, and also only about 20 minutes to Germany. Our area is a great tourist region. If you are mature, fit and self-motivated, willing to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, experienced with handling horses, we would be happy to hear from you!

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week in an awake household. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with motivation ...

Permaculture project with idea and space to create an eco-village. The quinta is located in Alto Alentejo 2km from Portalegre. 15 hectares with magical forests and a beautiful valley provided by seventeen sources and several mines with healthy water where too people live permanently for the moment,Isabel, a communication manager and Michel, a carpenter who is the founder of the project. There is also one dog, five cats, for chickens and six sheep. The project is now in the phase when it’s open so that more people can live here. Because parts of the ruins are ready for occupancy, there is space for people who want to stay longer, which can bring new and stronger dynamics throughout the year, not like before, when there was only a lot going on in the summer months. So far there is already a beautiful gardens going on and numerous species of plants, shrubs and trees which deliver us plenty of food. We are happy when someone shows enthusiasm for the garden because this is a central part...

Travelers should choose my place because it offers a calm, friendly, and comfortable home in the Dublin Suburbs 10 minute train ride to City Centre. You’ll be surrounded by plants, nature, and good company 🌿. The tasks are light and relaxed. You’ll also learn practical gardening tips and horticultural knowledge in a cozy, welcoming environment. It’s an ideal place for volunteers who enjoy peaceful living, meaningful conversations, and a warm home atmosphere. I am a well organized and responsible person. I’m an easy-going, friendly host who enjoys gardening and evening chats 😊. I value respect, honesty, and a relaxed environment. Volunteers can expect to be treated kindly and fairly, with plenty of support and patience. House also has a permanent tenant, Gloria from Italy (early 30's) who has been here over a year. The help is quite easy and low-stress. I’m happy to share my horticultural knowledge, including tips and tricks for getting the best performance from different plants 🌱. T...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

This is where you come when you’re finished with the norm and its systems. Thinking outside the box and voluntary simplicity inform my life. There is joy in the cycles of life. There are lambs and baby rabbits. The kale and chard are blooming to reseed. Spring is blooming and the tree frogs are singing. Im planning on creating a new chicken house this year. If you’re capable with a hammer and saw, have I got stuff for you to do 😎 im not looking for a professional carpenter. This is git er dun, use what you have type building. People wanting to learn gardening and food ways are always welcome- carpentry skills UN nescessary. I live off-grid in a 240 sq ft hand built caravan. I am practicing sustainability thru permaculture. my farm garden is beyond organic, relying on natures synergy. It is my dream to be fully self sufficient in food and herbs. also in the dream-works are an outdoor summer kitchen, a solar oven, a solar water heater for the caravan, more food forest which includes...

So looking at life in its best or worst way, with in its various colourful shades. 👉🏼 For References - ask for my other volunteer site profile. 👉🏼 My passion is film making but still I am trying to develop my spiritual understanding. Sametime in support of growing world awareness of organic life or climate changes comes as a beginning of a new era. And proud to be part of it as its time to deconstruct what we constructed just in few decades. Mumbai city is the only city in the world where the Country lives in a city i.e you will find everyone from the different parts of India living in the city of Mumbai. The city also supports some ancient spiritual caves and temples. It is active in mov...

We are Axel and Mônica (both 52). We are living in Portugal and our house with 3000 squaremeters of land is in a small village in the countryside of the beautiful Algarve. We can offer accommodation (bedroom - as you can see on the picture - and separate bathroom for you) and meals of course. Behind the village the mountains start, so here is a lot of nature, the beaches are 30km away. The next town (Messines) is 4km away, the next village about 1km. We need helpers mid o June 2026 for twonor three weeks for some work in our garden.. We prefer a couple or two friends, but if you are a single helper, you can contact us as well. Helpers are very welcome to our house!
