For the past four years, the land belongs, as is fair and good, to a Tribal University and Land Grant University located on the Rosebud Reservation, home of the Sicangu Oyate, in South Dakota. Our donation of the property was formally accepted by Sinte Gleska University during September of 2020. Since then, the seed has sprouted and pushed roots of beginnings down into the soil and the sprout and it's cotyledons have come out into the sun. Greetings! We are a creative couple in our 30's (Janne and Ruben) living in a fjord at the norwegian west coast, where we have wonderful nature close at hand. We love to make everything around us beautiful and like a fairytale, and we try to live as sustainable as possible, we love the principles of permaculture. We bought this house and 1 acre garden 5 years ago, our property is located by the fjord with a couple of small beaches close by, as well as the forest and the mountains basically at our doorstep. We have various fruit trees, berry bushes and vegetable patches. We live here with our 2 cats and 4 ducks. We run a small mushroom farm (allthough please note, we don't really have a farm, it is more like a little homestead). We have our own cozy campfire place. Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. Filming a real-life project with donkeys (Salamanca - Spain) You can be part of an ongoing project — a longer journey with a small group of donkeys through southern Europe. The focus is on documenting real life with the animals: movement through the landscape, close interaction, and natural, unstaged moments. You will work with professional camera and audio equipment and take part in the process of creating and shaping the material. This is a real project, not a staged production.
