OUR Ecovillage (1999) is looking towards a creative and fun season of committed volunteers who wish to work within a collective project opportunity. We are working on the next 25yr Vision and with this are building a very large public art installation project (earthen/cob Dragon sculpture with lots of mosaic work!). OUR 'regenerative living learning journey' forms the platform for the efforts we put towards making a difference in the world. We work within intercultural/intergenerational/interfaith/inter-nation restorative justice framework on our farm and work with research teams on soil/wastewater/energy systems design/etc, and permaculture education projects with learners from local to global! This means we are working with: the gardens, livestock/poultry, food forests, natural building (earthen, strawbale, plaster projects, finishing work, carpentry, etc), food preservation, yummy kitchen crafting for shared meals, mosaic and mural artwork, supporting Eco-tourism & farm guest...

Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also run smaller numbers of sheep. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am a keen outdoors person, love walking and climbing and often take helpers tramping, sightseeing, rock climbing or even rafting! I am looking for helpers from the beginning of April 2026 and on into May. Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family, sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

Hello - we are an animal-centric home on a small farmlet close to the township of Lithgow. We have a queen size bedroom available with own entry. We are walking distance to town. We have large dogs, so you will need to be confident around animals. We also breed miniature goats and have a garden and lots of chooks. Our property is located on an historic coal mine site and has many ruins to explore. We have resident native animals including kangaroos, bird life, wombats, possums and reptiles. We are looking for someone who is kind and curious about permaculture, gardening and animals. We are learning about regenerative practices and are trying to live gently. The property takes much of our time and there are always multiple projects on the go, with a view to sustainability and working with our environment. We are building food gardens, goat fencing including portable electric fences so we can have the goats graze on the weeds, we are also planning to restore our 1940’s train carriage in...

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start in Mid-May 2026. We are looking for volunteers to teach English only and are available to stay at least eight weeks. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. This is a busy fun jungle hostel. Our volunteers contribute their creative energy and talent at our busy jungle hostel. We are located in the Panamanian highlands (on the main road between both oceans) on more than 30 acres of rain forest (cloud forest) and re-purposed organic coffee farm. Because it is one of the only pieces of titled land, the community is looking to us alone to develop tourism. We are the deepest private reserve within the La Fortuna nature park. We host backpackers, volunteers, scientists, nature enthusiasts, birders etc. Because we want to employ as many persons from the local community as possible, volunteers are not simply used to cut down our labor costs. Minimum commitment length we are looking for from volunteers is 1 month We look forward to sharing the experience of living in the jungle with you. We are in the Lonely Planet book in both the Central America on a shoestring book as well as the Panama book. Our hostel has very favorable reviews elsewhere. ...

We offer beautiful private accommodation on our farm overlooking the swimming pool and Bangalow township. The accommodation consists of private bedroom (king bed and a single bed) with own bathroom and a living space with large comfy couches and ping-pong table. Only 15 mins from Byron Bay. Newrybar village is only 2 minutes away for the perfect morning coffee. Duties are mainly light gardening and mulching etc. We ask for 4 hours per day per person in return for food and accommodation. We would prefer two people rather than a single. Ideally having your own Transport would be better. We are close to everything but there is no public transport, so we think you would have more fun with the flexibility of a car to get to the beaches, etc . Our farm has peaches, nectarines and custard apples, but we already have workers for the orchard so help wanted is mainly around the house gardens. We have a horse called River who is trained in dressage. Our 2 kids are away at University so it is us...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. If you like the beach and the wild west coast then I`m sure you will love it out here. I work in the television and film industry while my partner is a a musician. Drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself and maybe you can come out and share some of the magic that we feel living here. Cheers. Toby, Moana and Manawanui.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Hello travellers! We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rain water collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’ve put a lot of work in to achieve a fossil-fuel-free, all-electric, household, with as small an environmental footprint as possible. We’re also lucky to live in a beautiful rural/coastal area near Inverloch, Victoria, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes south-east of Melbourne. We are close to some of Victoria’s most famous wildlife and wilderness attractions, including the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, the Koala Conservation Reserve, and hiking and camping at Wilson’s Promontory (not to mention numerous local beaches and fishing spots only 10 minutes away!). With our house complete, we’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to ...

Are the 2 of you 30 or older, all around good at woodwork, handy and happy? This might be something for you! We are situated "off the grid" on the Costa Maya beach, 5 km south of Mahahual town, Quintana Roo, México. The Costa Maya is still a very natural environment with the 2nd largest barrier reef in front and a huge area of mangrove and wetlands behind. With the two of us we run a small cozy restaurant, open in the evenings where our international guests come and enjoy a freshly prepared meal and good company. Furthermore we have 1 rental unit in our flower-full garden. Our place runs 99% on solar plus we catch our own rainwater. A sustainable system as far as reality allows us. In your free time you might want to go fishing, for a snorkel, dive or kayak tour just of our beach? You have min. 2 weeks time and want to help us 5 hours for 5 days a week in exchange for accommodation and 2 (non vegan) meals on volunteering days, then contact us. Safe travels! Justa

Hi. I am hoping that some lovely travellers would like to stay in our home and help with some gardening and other household jobs. You will have your own double bedroom which has a lovely verandah opening onto the back garden. You also have your own bathroom . I’m happy to share our kitchen and food with you though I’m not always home to cook. We prefer you to make your own breakfast and lunch though we usually enjoy dinners together. We usually have plenty of fresh veggies and fruit though we are not big meat eaters. We tend to prefer shorter stays of 4 to 6 days, however, if we (and you ) feel comfortable we have had helpers for up to 2 weeks. I think we are pretty easy going and please check our reviews. We have loved our guests and happy to show you around or leave you to discover Port Macquarie yourself. We could accommodate you and in return would you be able to do some home cleaning and gardening. Window cleaning is a regular event as we have lots of windows and live near ...

We are close to everything but there is no public transport, so we think you would have more fun with the flexibility of a car to get to the beaches, etc .
