West Coast Canada Experience - position open starting June, 2026 - preference given to longer stay helpers Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. If you have a valid drivers license, and are staying for at least 2 months you may use one of our cars. This requires a discussion, and is on a case by case basis. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. Crewing on our boat is optional if you like it - not everyone is comfortable being on the ocean. Here is what a typical summer day looks like: About 1/4 of our guests purchase breakfast. Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

We are a Chinese-Australian family based in Australia, currently looking for a young woman who enjoys exploring cooking and can help manage daily household cleaning and organisation. Beyond the work-exchange arrangement, additional payment can be discussed. If your English is not strong, that’s absolutely fine—you can practise spoken English with our high-achieving brother and sister at home and pick up plenty of authentic Aussie local expressions. We provide a large bedroom with a view and three meals a day. As the mum of the family, I take care of grocery shopping and driving. For newly arrived helpers, I can also drive you to set up the three essentials (bank account, phone plan, and TFN). In general, I handle matters outside the home, while you focus on household tasks...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

Come experience life off-grid! I'm looking for keen folks to help me with my homestead. I grow pretty much all my own veggies and am getting into more and more seed saving and even a bit of veg breeding. I keep chickens for eggs, hunt the local sheep and sometimes raise livestock for meat. Work is varied and flexible, there's gardening, construction projects, firewood, fencing, canning & food preservation, etc. etc. I would also love to host someone with sewing skills who'd be keen to help with my large mountain of mending projects. I'm good at darning and can teach you how! Helping hours can be flexible and adjusted to your interests and abilities. I ask for 20hrs/week of worktrade not including your share of cooking/food prep & dishwashing. I am busy working away from home some days so seek helpers who are fairly independent and I encourage folks to get out in the community and make connections with other islanders. A large part of the island`s population is made up of aging...

I live on a 32 hectare property between Greymouth and Hokitika (most of which is native forest) with a view over the Taramakau river. The land and house need ongoing maintenance including gardening, gathering firewood, window cleaning, painting and clearing tracks. My preference is someone (or a couple) who have been raised in the countryside, strong, and capable with machinery. An international drivers licence would be a bonus. I like people who work hard, and are capable of doing so with limited supervision. At the moment I am splitting and stacking firewood Usually I cook but may need help with some cooking from time to time. My children are grown up, and not living at home... In return for 4 hours work for every night you stay, I look after you well. The food is tasty wholesome farm cooking. Vegetarians are welcome, but for those with special diets should indicate when applying. Also i appreciate having a few days notice so I can shop!) You have use of an ensuite while he...

LOOKING FOR HELPERS LAST WEEK IN FEBRUARY. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine record every year...

Hi there Traveler We offer a farm stay with great views and good conversation. We chopped down a pine forest and replanted with Manuka about 4 years ago so it’s starting to look really great, and more native birds are about. Established a wetland reserve as well. Also we are developing another small retreat area that needs assistance with tracks and tree management. Some stock work is all so on offer but we will work with you all the time as it’s safer and more fun. cheers and safe travels Geoff and Declan

I enjoy helping visitors who come and help me here appreciate and learn about this land that is Australia.! If you choose to come and help me, I can introduce you to the things that I love about this area. I have lived and worked here on this land for 40+ years ! I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht. I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay. My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. We are also establishing a forested area for " Shinrin yoku " forest bathing for rest and relaxation. If you enjoy good food and wine, you are welcome.
