Hi, my name is Auduh. Me and my family are Bedouins who live in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. We have been working with tourists for years. We offer overnight stays in our traditional camp or cave and we take our guests on 4x4 Jeep tours, camel rides and hiking/climbing tours.. We have learned to speak English through working with the tourists from a young age. We love our simple life in the desert, work hard during the day and relax around the campfire at night. We offer you a free stay in my home in Wadi Rum village. You will really experience the traditional way of living in and around the desert. We will teach you traditional dance, some arabic words and show you around in the desert. You will meet the locals people, and learn about our culture, customs, and traditions. I also enjoy learning different languages and would be happy to help in teaching volunteers Arabic and other aspects of Bedouin life. You can help me respond to messages from arriving guests, you can help me wit...

Welcome to our family-run permaculture farm in the countryside of Bilecik, Türkiye. My name is Selçuk. I started this farm in 2008 after leaving my white-collar career to build a life closer to soil, animals, food, and nature. Today I live here with my wife, Julia, and together we share our daily life and farm activities with guests from different cultures. I have studied Culinary Arts, Agricultural Technologies, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. I also hold a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and have training in holistic management. My main interests are animal systems, fermentation, food transformation, and practical permaculture. Real Rural Life Life here is simple and genuinely rural. We do not offer luxury or hotel-style comfort. You will experience the realities of countryside life: animals, soil, mud, changing weather, quiet nights, and days shaped by nature. Guests stay in a simple guest space on the farm. We provide three meals a day and usually eat together. Food ...

Here you are constantly surrounded by native bird song. And can walk and swim daily. Im an artist and I am a handweaver. When you stay I am happy to share these skills and teach you to use a loom. I have 3. You can use my wool or other materials to make yourself a small item. This takes most people about 1 week. Although some are very keen and do it fast! I also paint and draw so you might feel inspiered to join me with that. Bring your own sketchbook but I have some paints you can use - watercolours. There is an outside room with a double and a single bed in it and a composting toilet and a shower. There is also a caravan. Now accepting guests for quite a very long time! I am currently building a house from scratch and at this moment I need help landscaping and hoisting up tools (super easy). The yard could use a day or two of cleaning up and leveling and planting. I prefer to not be the decision maker on what get planted so helpers can have at it. I live a 15 min bike ride to the quarter where lots of history and good music are always on display. There are second lines, mardi gras events, day of the dead parades, gay easter parades, decadence, pride, naked bike rides, community rides as well, and on and on. The festival season is from october to May and there are so many things to see and do in the new Orleans area. My ol lady loves the music and I love the urban exploring and adrenaline nature stuff. In exchange for work I'll offer food and fun city events that are ongoing. At this point in the project I can offer my fully functional tiny house (300 sqft), spare room inside the big house, a p...

English version below. In recent years we ...

Support/help us with sustainable education development for our children's future in Sanawari village. We believe that a child’s future success and advancement in life is greatly influenced by their early educational experience, as those who have go to school early develop an interest in education more than those who have not participated in early learning education. Learning how to get along in groups, work under teacher supervision, etc. They also receive encouragement to express their feelings and ideas through building, dancing, and drawing, playing, singing and speaking. And thus, at the end of their pre-school years, they have become more competent pupils and will be more advanced in some of their abilities and be ready to master their new environment in primary and secondary education. We are located at Sanawari village, Arusha. We hope that with volunteers support we can save and give hope through education to our children for future and other generation. HELP US We need a v...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Hi. We are a family of 4 and a new farm. Started in 2025 and although we do not live on site, we spend most of our time there. Our land is an ancient lead mine, was also inhabited by the Romans and we have a Bronze age burial tomb. * We only host couples as we find this works better for us and volunteers We are in an isolated position and it can be quite lonely otherwise, as we do not live at the farm ourselves. We are currently booking people for September to stay in our Belt tent. It is large at 7 m there is no heating in it, one of the jobs we will try to do is to get a bus ready that we have on site for a more cozy stay. If the weather is very bad, you can stay on our sofa bed in our lounge at our house which is about 15 minutes drive away from the land/farm. Help is needed amongst other things, feeding our 3 Iron age pigs, Soay sheep, goats and chickens. This year we would like to plant plenty of trees so would be great to show you how to do this and get some more trees plan...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

Hello! We are Andrew and Gail We are a British couple who made the move to France many years ago in search of a different way of life. What began as an adventure renovating old buildings by ourselves has grown into a life we love in the beautiful Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, one of France's best-kept secrets. Before settling here, we spent years traveling, volunteering, and exploring different cultures. We spent extensive time on the road traveling by motorcycle, volunteering on community projects, and meeting wonderful people along the way. Those experiences taught us how rewarding cultural exchange can be, and they continue to shape the way we welcome helpers today. For more than twenty years we have been exploring and falling in love with this remarkable region. We now run three holiday homes in and around the village of Le Monestier, welcoming guests who come here to enjoy nature, walking, cycling, photography, local culture, and the simple pleasure of being surrounded ...

Hello! If you’re a solo traveler looking for a peaceful, safe, nature filled place to stay, we’d really love to hear from you. We currently have availability from Monday September 7th to September to September 14th and September 18th to September 25th, then from 25th October onwards. We pause hosting from December to February because the heat and humidity make outdoor work uncomfortable — focusing on the cooler months means your stay is far more enjoyable, relaxed, and productive. 🌱 Who We Are We’re Craig and Yvonne, easy going retirees in our late sixties who’ve built our dream life on a forested acreage (not a farm) overlooking Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We love welcoming curious, kind, nature loving helpers into our home and creating a safe, calm, and friendly environment — especially for solo travelers who appreciate comfort and respect. 🛠️ Your Role (Flexible & Supportive) We’d like you to help us in the mornings, five flexible half days a week, starting early, with ...

We are Axel and Mônica (both 52). We are living in Portugal and our house with 3000 squaremeters of land is in a small village in the countryside of the beautiful Algarve. We can offer accommodation (bedroom - as you can see on the picture - and separate bathroom for you) and meals of course. Behind the village the mountains start, so here is a lot of nature, the beaches are 30km away. The next town (Messines) is 4km away, the next village about 1km. We need helpers in September or October for two or three weeks for some work in our garden. We prefer a couple or two friends, but if you are a single helper, you can contact us as well. Helpers are very welcome to our house!

We are set on 11 acres of beautiful land with wonderful views over the waters of the Manukau Harbour and with direct access to an expansive beach reserve. At the heart of the light filled house is a meditation room filled with musical instruments and opening onto an expansive lawn which is the setting for outdoor living and communal gatherings. These include occasional house concerts, seasonal celebrations and co creative musical sessions where we can experience our spiritual interconnectedness with Nature and one another. Help is needed in the house and on the land with tasks that include maintaining gardens and fruit trees, cutting grass, clearing weeds, making compost and cutting wood. I welcome people who love Nature and who can work with focus and commitment. In exchange for 24 hours work a week I offer a comfortable room , delicious and wholesome vegetarian meals, access to beaches and bush walks and the possibility that new doors will open for you.

Kia ora! Thanks for your interest in coming to stay in Houghton Bay, Wellington. The local area is full of native bush, plenty of walking tracks (southern walkway, mt albert lookout, red rocks seal colony), beaches for swimming/snorkelling or surfing, and being close enough to the city to enjoy other attractions Wellington has to offer too. Or check out nearby Newtown for opshops, owhiro bay for Carlucciland minigolf with sculpture walkway, or head to thr cinema at Island Bay. About me and why I host: I was born in the uk and, after travelling around the world for about 9mths, I came to nz on a working holiday visa with a plan to be in Wellington for a week. It has been over 20yrs! My 2 kids are now adults and on their own overseas adventures. We used to host via couchsurfing and love meeting people from around the world and hearing their stories or just chatting in general (over a decent cup of tea!). However a few injuries, busy life, trying to renovate, and a section that loves...

Our farm is situated in a peaceful valley near Samoeng, 75km north-west of the Chiang Mai city, welcomes you to stay with us to learn about a simple way of life, organic farming, cooking, meditation and Buddhism. The farm is run by a former Thai monk, Chinnaworn, and his Japanese partner, Noriko. The farm is not only a place where vegetables and fruit grow to nourish the body, but also where seeds of mindfulness are planted and tended to for the heart and spirit. Being in a peaceful environment, free from distractions we can see what parts of our mind may need to be ‘weeded’, and which seeds need to be watered so that they can grow into peaceful flowers for us and all we meet to enjoy. In the farm, meditation and mindfulness can be put into every day practice. Mindfulness is a word used in connection with Buddhism and meditation. It means being very aware of every phenomena inside and around ourselves. Cultivating mindfulness is the start to a journey to understand the ultimate trut...

Hi helpers, We are looking for 1 to 4 people to come for 1 or2 weeks, we can negotiate a bit longer or shorter to suit . We live in the country, we are wanting help with some light gardening, and generally keeping up with home maintenance and small building jobs. You would have your own rooms in our home. We ask for 4 hours help per day. (Some helpers have preferred to do a whole day and then take a day off to go tramping or explore the area, (completing the Tongariro crossing is a long but doable day trip from Marton.) We are about 2-3 hours from Wellington, Taupo, Hawkes Bay, and Taranaki. We have had lots of helpx and wwoofers stay over the past few years and really enjoyed all their company. Please have a look at our profile and our previous helpers comments and E-mail or call us if you think you would suit or if you have any questions. Looking forward to meeting you.

Food ...

We run a no-kill animal sanctuary in the beautiful Irish countryside, an hour's drive from Dublin City. We have horses, sheep, goats, hens, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, a pig and a donkey, all rescued from bad situations and now living out their days in peace and comfort with us. We are looking for someone to help with the daily tasks, mostly cleaning up the fields and stables, and walking and playing with some of our dogs. Accommodation and self-prepared meals offered in return for help with taking care of rescue animals. We ask for a minimum stay of four weeks, and even longer would be better! Our last volunteer came for three months and stayed for six! Approximately 25 -30 hours per week of help will be required. Vegetarian/vegan food supplied. Accommodation is in a modern mobile home, two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and toilet, living room and kitchen. Situated in a rural location in Co. Kildare, with spectacular views of the Wicklow mountains. There is limited WiFi, it's ...

Hi, we are looking for one or two keen, healthy helpers to work with us on a range of tasks.🌻 We have a small berry orchard and vegetable gardens with ducks, Guinea fowl, friendly kangaroos and our cute indoor house cats. The rest of the property is natural woodlands and we try to live as sustainably as possible. We have built our own unique home and there are still some parts to complete. All your meals are provided and we eat together to plan our day. The food is tasty vegetarian and we are happy to cater for vegans. Your accommodation is in a private and comfortable converted shipping container/tiny home and WIFI is available at main house. You need to commit to one week however you could stay longer if all are agreed. Hello, I live 25 km from Picton in the Marlborough Sounds on the seaside. I am an artist and organic gardener. The views here are spectacular. I feed the bellbirds and Tuis on the deck. I can pick you up in Linkwater which is our closest town although its only a Pub and a petrol station but its on the main Queen Charlotte road half way between Picton and Havelo...

Hello We are Ondrej and Lucy, a Czech/Kiwi couple who have been living on our country property for one year. Our home is a lifestyle block with gardens, ponds, paddocks, orchards, farm animals, regenerating native bush and native birds. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes from Māpua and Ruby Bay, 15 minutes from Motueka and Richmond, and 30 minutes from Nelson, and Kaiteriteri the gateway to the stunning Abel Tasman National Park. Ondrej and I have two children, Maika, aged 12, and Toby, aged 9, who both attend the local school. We both work, and as the property is new to us, we have plenty to do to get it organised and looking its best. We are looking for someone who would be interested in helping us with various tasks on our property. This could include general property maintainance, cleaning, painting, planting, weeding, hedge trimming, dog walking amongst other things. We have a sunny, private, upstairs space for you to stay in which includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen...

Tena koe, nau mai, haramai ki Tokomaru Bay, a small, predominately Maori seaside community on the East Coast. We live on a four acre lifestyle block in the peaceful Kaiawha Valley about a two minute drive from the village and the beach. There is a 4 Square Supermarket, a cafe and a tavern in the village. We have a room with a queen bed in a sleep out, with helpers own separate lounge/kitchenette. Access to washing machine. The bathroom is inside the main house located a few metres away. Most of the work we require is gardening, landscaping, milking cow, feeding animals, preserving food, servicing our Bed and Breakfast (List 1 Historic Places building) firewood, weed eating, mowing and general maintenance.

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.
