After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

Hi! I'm Elena, and I live in the south of France, not far from Carcassonne. I haven't used HelpX for more than 10 years, but I recently broke my ankle, so I suddenly have a lot more free time. I'm looking for someone who would enjoy exploring the area, helping me improve my garden and terrace, and giving me a hand with light household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, watering the plants, and similar things. I don't have a lot of tasks to do per day, more like 2 -3 hours a day. The rest of the time, you're free to explore the region. I'll be happy to show you the best parts of the region, I also love to cook together. You can use my bicycle, and if we build mutual trust, you may also use my car. In the village you'll find two small museums, beautiful walking trails, vineyards and fields, a grocery shop, a greengrocer, two cafés, a pizzeria, a cinema, a wine cellar, a bakery, and more. There are also caves to visit and mountains nearby. There is public transport as well, although...

We operate a small husband and wife online plant nursery and in our free time we enjoy taking a wwoofer or 2 out on regular boating trips catching barramundi and reef fish, crocodile spotting, fishing and exploring the islands, snorkeling around the Great Barrier Reef and Whale and Dolphin spotting, ... so we would prefer folks that have an interest in boating/fishing and happy to tie their own fishing knots and set the anchor and dont get sea-sick....The more enthusiastic you are to help preparing the boats and cleaning up after the trips the more enthusiastic we are to take you out.... and the boating when the weather suits is a reward for your hard work in helping us out....we prefer to host people for 2 weeks or longer and this will give the best chance of getting the full experience as well as making a meaningful contribution to our lives and property.. From early september we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden, plant nursery and farm/or...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) , please don't come if you have a heavy cold or flu, I'm involved with the elderly. Cheers Al

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. 3 bedroom house 200m from beach on south terrace in South Fremantle. Pubs, restaurants and cafes within short walking distance. Walk to Fremantle in 15 mins or take the free bus with a stop within a few meters. It's a beautiful old house with a nice back garden to relax in. I require assistance with a some renovation work. The house is 120 years old - not old by European standards but quite old for Australia - but still a lot to be done. Some more work on my kitchen, and just a myriad of small things. Any skills in renovation and minor construction would be ideal but not essential. Whilst I haven't had many helpxers, I've had great experiences with everyone who has stayed. Happy for people to do there own thing but also happy to have a beer/wine with good people. Am after 1 to 3 honest people, male or female. Have had great experiences with helpxers so far. Thanks, Mike

Hi We are a family of 4 and have a small private self contained cottage with stunning views over Cooks Beach and Mercury Bay. Walking distance to Cooks Beach and shops (500m), Lonely Bay, Flaxmill Bay and Ferry Landing and Whitianga (3km). I have a new cabin on the hill above cooks beach, coromandel. We can pick up and drop off from Whitianga or Hahei / Hotwater Beach. We are looking for assistance with gardening, weeding, spraying, tree planting, cleaning, track building and property maintenence. We can provide some food, veges from the garden, fruit and some basic supplies, but generally we expect you to look after yourselves, cook your own meals etc. Sometimes we can s...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. ***IM CURRENTLY HOSTINIG UNTIL OCTOBER Hey guys! I'm a single mum of two and I would like to swap accommodation for 10 hours babysitting a week. It would be one day on the week (usually Thursday) and one day in the weekend. Everything very flexible and I can adjust to your work hours or availability. I would like someone genuine interested in kids and open to share while we live in the same place. I will prefer girls just because I feel more comfortable at leaving my kids with a girl 😬🙏, but im open for the righ person. SORRY NOT COUPLES, I don't have a double bed and what i need is not really much, so one person is what im looking for. About me; my name is Daniela, I'm originally from Chile, so we speak Spanish and English at home. Im full time mum at the moment so i do everything for my kids, i just want the babysitting hours to have a break and share with my friends. I'm always keen for a good chat and help wherever I can. Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

My husband and I moved to this 240 acre farm in the South Burnett Region of South East Qld 2 years ago and have recently moved into a purpose built cottage (to reduce our footprint) relying on rainwater for the house and bore water for the gardens and to reduce our footprint further we have installed a composting toilet. 40 fruit trees have been planted and raised garden beds made which is the start of our edible oasis. Next on the jobs list is creating wicking beds from IBC totes and fencing the house yard for our two Jack Russell dogs. We have an old thunder box we would like to restore to make into an outdoor composting toilet (let us know if you’re handy on the tools). There’s plenty to do and learn around the farm depending on your ability and interests. Enthusiasm is a must. There’s gardening and learning about soil health, learning how to erect barbed wire and electric fencing, animal husbandry, building, cleaning and general maintenance. There’s always something different g...

We produce a wide range of vegetables for ourselves and some for selling. Our home is situated on a 3 acre property north of Christchurch. It is 20 minutes to both the central city and the airport. We are a recently retired couple who enjoy cooking, meeting new people and living a peaceful life! We are looking for help with maintaining the house and garden. Presently this would include trimming, weeding, possibly wood stacking and clearing, and/or some housework, so a good level of fitness would help. The garden is well established with beautiful trees, shrubs, pond and many spaces for quiet reflection. We have one duck and various chooks. We'd like someone (or a couple) to work fours hours a day in exchange for a beautiful, comfortable environment, which includes spa and food. We generally take people for a week - this includes 2 days off. It would be ideal to have a car but we are happy to collect from the airport. We are one hour from the nearest ski field and 15 minutes from the township of Rangiora

I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed(inside and out 🤣,) skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around.

Hi everyone my name is David, and I live at in Mount Warning Caldera in Northern NSW. The closest town is Murwillumbah, which is approx a 30 min drive away.
