Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. We are very lucky to live on a farm in the beautiful Lake District, just on the edge of the National Park in Cumbria; the farm dates back to the late 1600's. Over the years parts of it have been renovated and added to and some parts are looking a little sorry for themselves! We have 4ha land, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, large gardens, two kids, a small business, and a big, 150 year old homestead to look after, so many skills needed here. The gardens are large, productive but some are messy at the moment. For now I am looking for a single person or couple to help with tidying the gardens, weeding, sorting firewood. I am studying herbal medicine, which means I am very busy and have let the gardens go a little, it is in desperate need of cleaning up. A small rural property located half way between two beautiful tourist cities - Rotorua and Taupo where travellers are welcomed!
