Our woodland croft is situated on the Isle of Mull. We are off grid and are in the early stages of developing our croft. We have three focuses: creating and maintaining the woodland, willow basketry and a market garden. We are currently developing the market garden to start producing in June 2026. The croft is a former forestry site with lots of stumps from trees felled. We have built a small greenhouse/propagating shed and two large polytunnels. Our Tamworth pigs are helping churn up the land for the future veg beds. We are a couple and are living in a static caravan on the croft with our dog Lily. We are looking for help with setting up and running our first season of our market garden. As we are still in the set up process the timings of the jobs we need help with are hard to predict. We are looking for people to get stuck in and learn with us as we go. Things to do will include: setting up our irrigation system (rolling piping and connecting, installing taps,...), preparing the ...

We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. 🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely after its 4 year renovation build has just completed, and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer and wedge-tailed eagle. This link has a lot more photos of our place: https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 The next specific needs are: a) start of May onwards. Meal prep, housekeeping and gardening. This can be a short term stay 2-4 weeks if desired. b) start of June onwards. Mostly cleaning and bedrooms reset, some gardening. Minimum stay 4 weeks, but we prefer longer stays! If you want to come the second half of May that's fine - we're very flexible. (...

Hello :) We are a small German family (Jens 55, Doreen 47 and Sam 8) who emigrated to Norway many years ago. We live on a farm here and now have 43 sheep. We need some help with tasks like cleaning out the stable and feeding them. In addition, there are always several tasks to be done on a farm, such as repairing or building fences, felling trees, sawing wood with a chainsaw or cross-cut saw, preparing winter wood and, if necessary, gardening work such as pulling weeds. You'll be staying in a camper van/caravan parked right next to our house. You'll be able to enter the house at any time and use the bathroom and our kitchen. The camper van, of course, has electricity and Wi-Fi. :)

Hi travellers, welcome to NZ! I found out about helpx from travellers overseas and thought I would try it. We live on a sheep and beef farm 35 minutes east of Masterton, 15 minutes from Riversdale beach and 25 minutes from Castlepoint beach. I live with my partner Mel and daughters Kenzie (4yrs ) and Emmie (2yrs). We are looking for 2 people; one to help collect eggs on the farm and the other to help watch our daughters :) You will have your own room, food supplied, Internet and washing machine. We can pick you up from Masterton. I have travelled a lot and enjoy meeting new people. I think a travelling experience is most enjoyable when a local shows you the local sites, cultures and attractions. I have had many friends, who I have met overseas, visit me and I enjoy being host and enhancing their NZ experience. And when I visit them they do the same for me. Alex, Mel, Kenzie & Emmie

MOST URGENT NEEDS: -Someone who KNOWS land, soil, water as we are looking to acquire land in California to get things started! -Organizing many old things in the house we are in in San Francisco If you are a traveller, musician, community-orientated...this could also be a great place for you I am a chef and musician, that's been traveling pretty much non-stop since I started....After 15 years of traveling, living in many refugee projects, squats, intentional communities, collectives, cooking for many community kitchens, staying in many farms and seeing what it is possible in this world....I have seen many things I have loved and many things that didn't quite work in my opinion...now I have a unique opportunity to start a community based on learning, sharing and helping each other (especially those that may not normally have access to such a privileged life-style) grow and learn through workshops and communal happenings. Right now I am in the extreme beginnings. I am looking for lan...

Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy in august short or longer stays are welcome. We usually have 2 volunteers staying with us, each with their own bedroom. Volunteers can cover each others time off & share the tasks. We usually take volunteers out to places of interest, on a Saturday. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 89 years old and has moderate memory loss. My father is calm & relaxed. My father does like to have volunteers there, to watch television with him, so that he’s not alone & he enjoys helping volunteers improve their English pronunciation. Volunteers are also welcome to work on their laptops, while sitting with my father, he’s used to that & still enjoys thei...

We used to run a bed and breakfast here so I guess we can say we dont bite and our place is clean and comfortable. Some animals and chickens on site. Fruit when in season. Having a vehicle to explore for times when you are not working is a must and there is no public transport here. We are meat eaters. We need help now throughout the year. I have some physical limitations and require help to get on top of STUFF. We have many trees that have been felled waiting for splitting with a fuel powered machine, paths needed to be built, gardening, general gardening tools available and I am also building a cottage. Inside work for those wet days include painting, plus preparation, cleaning windows plus other general household tasks. Woodworking/carpentry skills could be an asset. There is a workshop here if you want to pursue a project. A previous couple outfitted th...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Hi, we are Martina and Ali. We have renovated an old stonehouse in a small village in Southern Italy. It is situated in Cilento National Park, just 5 km from the Mediterranean. You can see the sea and the Amalfi coast from our terraces. The house is surrounded by an extensive orchard with olives, lemon, and fruit trees of all kinds, in total 4000 m2. It is fenced in to keep the wild pigs out. We also have 3 sweet little cats. We are looking for support with some DIY jobs in and around the house, e.g. build small walls in the garden, construct a garden shed, build a small kitchen cabinet. Also we look for help with gardening maintenance, e.g. remove weeds and pruning of bushes and olive trees. For July/August help is needed for some jobs in the garden, e.g. harvesting figs and other fruit and drying fruit in the sun as well as help with irrigating the plants. The garden is on a slope, so we use an electric pump to pump the water into water storage containers. Then we use garden hose t...

Summer is here and apart from our gorgeous beaches nearby the farm is looking grand and growing. Oamaru, our nearby town is fun and quirky and home to a lot of artists and alternatively thinking people. The farmers market is a grand place to go and feel out the vibe and we can tell you where to view the little blue penguins free of charge. Oh so cute! We are passionate about growing and processing our own food, we love bugs and bees and all our animals and our wonderful community. Soil health and biodiversity are key players for us. We love hearing new ideas and sharing our successes...and failures :) We are a NZ/German family of five (kids aged 10, 13 and 14) who love to travel and love meeting travellers from all over the world. We used to live on a sailing boat when the kids were smaller and sailed to many tropical islands, exploring reefs, tribal life and off grid living. Now we have swapped that life for one on the land, aiming to regenerate our little farm by introducing more ...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week in an awake household. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with motivation ...

Hey everyone it's Coco. I have a farm property down here near Moruya at Congo, NSW. I have recently moved house and now live at my beach house, but still run the farm 2 km away. There is plenty to do as I am still getting organised at the beach house, so come and help. The house is across the road from the beach - swimming and surfing every day. On the farm there are a few cows and sheep, very friendly farm dog, an orchard and an organic garden to look after... and kangaroos. At the beach house i need help re-establishing my gardens, painting, general house maintenance. I am around heaps, but helpers need to be able to do stuff without supervision and know what you are doing. It's better if you have farm experience and a mature attitude. Things that I need help with specifically include: Farm related jobs Looking after the dog Check the cows Weed control Fencing checks House cleaning Lawns Washing Painting Meal preparation For your fun there are bikes, surfboards and plenty of ...

It`s been over 10 years now that we are participating in programs like this. We never get tired of new people staying and having strangers turning into friends. Also our neighbors and others in the village enjoy the exchange. They are always up for a small talk, which is great for you to practice your German! About us: We have organic breed Wagyu Beef (the most expensive meat in the world). There are 3 Horses, a Pig, Chicken, Dogs and a bunch of Cats that are also part of the Farm. We also grow all sort of crops. Either to feed our animals or to sell them. We also grow apples, plums, pears, potatoes and many other things that grow in a garden. There is never a time during summer where u can not just go outside and eat something straight from where it grows.. Ruesselhausen is a small village. Just perfect to be in the nature. There are bikes for you to use so you can discover the surrounding nature. It would be good if you speak a little German because not all of us speak English. We...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys. ...!! With only the help of many hard working wwoofer's/HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 26 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked here with me, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! These days instead of my helpers assisting me , I assist my helpers LOL , usually in the morning and than we try to cook a meal , please, understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music... In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, I love music and most of the time there is music in the house. This is a Private Forest Reserve, 80 acre property, 7km from St M...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Our place sits high on a hill with spectacular 360 degree views of mountains, valleys, rolling hills and city lights overlooking all of Albury/Wodonga, twin cities on the Murray River. We are on the main freeway between Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. Large luxury cedar and rock homestead on 100 acres. Lots of historic church features incorporated into the homestead and cute rustic outbuildings , antiques and artistic detail abound. Beautiful and unique large garden filled with 100+ sculptures, many paths to explore, ponds, organic vegetable and berry gardens, free range poultry and wildlife galore and many other interesting features.

We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples.
