I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karatΓ© (three times per week) and would be happy t...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working it Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe itβs more convenient to do two longer days during the week. Free coffee, tea and a simple breakfast (i.e. Cereal, toast) usually available. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Perth and how you are travelling (flying in, driving or bus etc.). If you are already in Perth, where you are staying and how long you...

We have a property located within walking distance of Fremantle centre near the river , grocery stores and public transport as well as a local coffee strip. You would have the whole house self-contained with kitchen and bathroom. The helping exchange arrangement would be helping with repairs, landscaping, painting etc. Fremantle cottage is on quarry st if you want to check location. It would be useful if you have had some experience with painting and renovation as we are trying to bring a property in for a sale this year. it would suit someone who would like some peace and quiet because it lacks entertainment facilities such as stereos and TVs at the moment. We also have a beach house south of Fremantle and you could have an opportunity to stay there for trips to the islands, surfing and fishing. 2 hours a day would be fine and although food is not provided shopping is handy.

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. βLife is better with a Buffaloβ is our farm goal and βHappiness only real when shared β is our motto. I welcome you to my little piece of paradise in a very beautiful and quiet valley. With lots of wildlife, horses, cows, chickens, 4 big dogs ,fresh running creek and lots of trees. I have hosted many people since 2012 but have only just now found my old account. It was the most wonderful experience and I helped many to stay in Australia as I have a tree farm. All my old helpX helpers have remained friends and we still keep in touch through Facebook. I have lived here for 15 years and my children have all left home and apart from all my animals it would be wonderful to invite people from all over the world. I canβt travel due to commitments so this would be the next best thing. I would love help with animals, gardening, mowing, slashing paddocks, tree and vegetable planting. Painting, building and anything else we might think of. I did start a cabin in a secluded spot and would love to continue building it so I can give people a little private place to stay. Iβve lived in France ...

Namaste! We welcome you to join our family of students and teachers living at a Buddhist School/Monastery in a national park. We are located just 10km from Kathmandu in a very peaceful forest with no traffic sounds, just birds chirping! We have 28 kids between the ages of 7 and 18 years old, all of whom live and study here. With the intention to help underprivileged children and to provide modern and Buddhist education, we serve kids from very poor areas, some without parents, and/or families struggling to survive so the school is a special place for them because it provides them with a family and an opportunity for a better future. Our students are very loving and kind to volunteers so you will very quickly be absorbed into our big family! We do not have any external financial support which we need to feed the kids and pay for teachers, so we must get creative in order to sustain our special school. The biggest help would be through teaching the kids but contributions in any of thes...

Hello Helpers! I live on a small 5 acre lifestyle block, 48 km South of Auckland CBD, that is also home to one horse (Meg), two small inside dogs (Alfie and Lacey), a cat (Sylvie) and some free-range hens who happily provide eggs for our breakfast. I can offer short stays of approximately ONE WEEK only, for a single helper or a couple. Mature, practical-minded people with a few years life experience, a good work ethic and a good understanding of the English language are preferred. None of the jobs are difficult but you do need to be reasonably FIT and you need to be able to work independently. Non-smokers/non-vapers only please. I've had some amazing helpx helpers that have helped establish the kitchen gardens and some help is now needed on general gardens and landscaping. Depending on the time of the year, some of the tasks you may be asked to help with are: planting trees/shrubs, weeding and mulching garden beds, grubbing thistles, paddock weeds and brush-cutting (strimming/w...

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

I am looking for people that are passionate about dogs and like to spend time and work with dogs. A pack of 24 huskies is something different than having a pet dog at home. You will be able to join our animal assisted programs with kids and young adults and learn about it. I am educated in dog physiotherapy as well and there is the possibility to learn in this field as well. Beside the main topic the huskies we have bee hives and produce our own honey. There is a big garden with fruits and vegetables that needs maintainance. To sum it up our work here is mainly outdoors with nature and animals. Every day is different so its not possible to give you a long term daily structure in advance. There are some everyday tasks in the dogcare but the rest of the work depends on the weather and the season. As we live in a small village the main freetime activities are biking and hiking. More freetime options you find in cities around in your days off. Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

We are looking for 1 or 2 people to help us with some cleaning and gardening for up to a week. Work is usually around 2 hours per day for accommodation in private room - self catering. If you are confident at cooking we can negotiate a arrangement that includes food. We can also accept helpers who are travelling in campervans with a powered camping site if they prefer. I am old enough to be your grandfooppather, loving life and every second left of it, which is probably about ten years. Debs is my Numero Uno accomplice in this endeavour; basically, to avoid the old folks home. Happy on the endless holiday, we are Boomers aiming at staying Forever Young. HelpX helps us do that and travel the world at the same time. We get to listen to stories of your great adventure and hear about your homeland; maybe even see yr home (Utube and Google walkabouts). Although the house is a bit of a disaster (badly needs a paint job and leaks in the bathroom etc etc), the work is mainly in the garden: germinating, planting, weeding, weed-eatering, poisoning noxious plants and unwanted trees (Privet), pruning, slashing, hedge-clippering, schreddering, lawn-mowing, chainsawing, permaculturing and now SCRUBCUTTERing. If wet, it'll be cleaning, sandpapering and painting inside. I ask for 3 hours per day (9 to 12) [or 3 days of 4hrs gets a day off], and the odd domes...

Please post photo of yourself. It is a lovely home atmosphere. Own room, double bed and couch. I have a large standard male black poodle who loves everyone. You must love dogs, and small female version of the bigger one. So two dogs. I adore them, as if you love dogs, they will love you back. Just need those who can handle normal life! I am older, but not a weakly older! Cooking, sharing experience and recipes, even better. The work here is garden maintenance, pruning and lawn mowing, weeding, and some cleaning in the home. Not much, just here and there. Please use your own initiative! If you see leaves, sweep them up. I have a blower so thatβs easy too. If the bench is dirty wipe it. If there are dishes, rinse and put in the dishwasher. That type of thing. Like your own home. I am not a tidy freak. This is a home with dogs. Normal.

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site.

Hello, Bonjour, we have been living in Banks peninsula for more than 12 years and loving it. We are a family of three, a biologist, a conservationist nature guide and a 6 year old French kiwi kid. We feel home here, a little village like in Europe with a great community, overlooking the splendid bay where orcas, dolphins, penguins and other wildlife visit sometimes. We will be happy to show you around and suggest walks or activities to do in the surroundings and beyond to the southern Alps, where we go skiiing, biking and tramping. You will stay in a bedroom with a queen bed and its ensuite bathroom, with view on the sea and hills. You can enjoy the sunny deck to relax. We are located 10 min drive from Akaroa, 1h from Christchurch. Best to have your own vehicle, but you can probably hitch hike to get anywhere. We will share our kitchen and all the cooking utensils and cutlery you need, as long as you clean after you. We are happy to share meals if you want. We also enjoy games night ...

Normal. If you have a car, there is off street safe parking for you. .Accommodation in return for garden maintenance and some...
