🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

The accomodation is a 8' x 12' studio with a small covered front porch. There's high speed wifi and solar power, and it's surrounded by forest. There's a nice hexagonal composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and a shared kitchen and dining area. Looking for someone who can work independently on some tasks (gardening, painting) while I'm at my day job, and we'll work together some too (tree planting, construction projects). I work as a zipline guide and love touring people around the Island, so I'd be happy to take you on adventures on the weekends too!

In January 2023 we created two more organization branches in Thailand in Sisaket province and Lao people's democratic republic, in Salavann province in order to providing additional education, for free to those who need it in the local community. With the help of volunteers from all over the world, we have helped to improve the lives and opportunities of children from local low-income families in and around the local communities. The school needs volunteers! The photos you can see on this page were taken before Covid. Back then the school was packed with people from all around the world, unfortunately that is not the case anymore... We'd love to see it shine again like it did before :) Head Volunteer Needed: The School is in need of volunteer(s) who can fulfill organisational help while also taking on English teaching at the Schools. You will have the opportunity to guide this organisation; creating an organised environment for students and volunteer teachers alike. If you have a bac...

This is a mountain hut immersed in Italy's largest protected park, at 1300 meters, in a forest on Mount Pollino. Managed by an official guide of the park, we organize excursions, canyoning, hiking, climbing and horseback riding throughout the park. The refuge consists of five rooms (with bathrooms) for a total of twenty beds. Kitchen and dining room in common. Helpers sleep in a room that they share together. In spring, summer and autumn volunteers are welcome to take good care of the refuge. Cooking, fixing the roof, gathering mushroom, cutting wood or making guests practice their english :) In winter... write me if you like snow!

Please read our profile carefully, and see our website and instagram. If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application. This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive. Murrnong has a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mud brick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat. We eat shared meals, most meals are vegetarian. Type of jobs: farm and garden work, combined with l...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Hello Everyone, My son (5) and I (40) are living in the beautiful Northwest of Tasmania. Situated on the foothills of Mount Roland our hobby farm is close to tourist attractions like Cradle Mountain and only a short drive into the historic town of Sheffield. We are growing our own veggies and run a small amount of stock on our 20 acre property. Bordering the Dasher River with Pine Forrest on each side, the farm is very private with opportunities to get adventurous and go for a fish, a mushroom hunt or bushwalk. A little cottage not far away from the main resident will be your accommodation during your stay. We are hoping to find helpers who can give us a hand in the garden and with farm maintenance. In return we offer accommodation and food. We are a multicultural household and are happy to teach German or English to our guest. I’m also a chef and are happy to share recipes and teach cookery. One of my daily routine involves baking organic sourdough. Which i am happy to teach you too....

There's always lots to do. If you are a couple, or two couples even - you are welcome to buy and cook your own food and set your own pace around exploring/helping out in the garden. If you are travelling alone and prefer company you will be welcome to eat with us, and I am happy to set an extra place at the table. It will be expected that you spend more time hanging out with me in my garden! While you are here, whoever you are, you will be welcome to participate in our daily life, to learn about how Kiwis live. We have a large property with many apple trees, almond and peach trees, apricot and plum trees, plus lots of gardens. Also a lovely fire pit to enjoy a late night chat around. We have a warm, comfortable place for you to stay. It is very private, well equipped and has pretty good wifi. ...

I live in a large house in Veyrin, a very very small village, in a very nice countryside in France, 90km East of Lyon, not fare from the Alps. Genève (Switzerland) is 1h30 driving. I'm looking for non-smokers helpers, who could help me 4h/day in my organic vegetable garden or helping me to welcome holidaymakers and pilgrims in my gite. You will have your own bedroom. The common kitchen is to be shared with everybody. The food is vegetarian. I can speak English. If you are sportive we can lend you a bicycle to visit around. The first town is 12km from Veyrin. We are Ines and Stefan Grillmair living with our Kids Heidi (7), Nino (5) and Robin (3) at a small farm in Bachmanning, Upper Austrian countryside. We moved in this 400-year-old house in 2023, after a year of maintaining the main building. At the moment we have 5 sheep mowing the steep land in the back yard. We look forward doing some gardening and pasture work in 2025. For that reason, we definitely look for handy helpers that are used to work with tools and own hands. We stick to helpx recommended 4 hours of help per day, and appreciate self-responsible management on this. We are self-employed, our daily job is all about coffee. We are Barista, run shops in the City of Wels and Salzburg and work most days at home. We know HelpX from our Work&Travel experience in New Zealand, a decade ago. We enjoy being a Host now. Our House is located in the so called “Voralpenregion” which means, that it`s close to the Alps, especially Salzkammergut. By car or train you reach Gmunden (40 min)...

Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

We have a property located within walking distance of perth centre near the river , grocery stores and public transport as well as a local coffee strip. You would have the whole house self-contained with kitchen and bathroom. The helping exchange arrangement would be helping with repairs, and painting. Its near sent Mary cathedral st if you want to check location. It would be useful if you have had some experience with painting and renovation as we are trying to bring a property in for a sale this year. it would suit someone who would like some peace and quiet because it lacks entertainment facilities such as stereos and TVs at the moment. Sorry, we don’t really provide long term bookings for people who are working. We do know of opportunities for those looking for this and are happy to assist.

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). We are looking for two people for next week for one week to help with laying weed mat, and preparing for some planting - may involve shifting some wood, weedeating if you have skills etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travellers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Most of the time we have a beautiful black Labrador called Kenai. We also have a pool and a hot tub in the bush. We live on a small acreage about 20 minutes outside of Bundaberg. It is in a quiet, country area with lots of animals - dogs, cats, geese, guinea fowl and ducks. Wild kangaroos regularly feed in the paddock near our house. If you love animals, we are the place for you! Helpers would have their own bedroom, bathroom, toilet and lounge room. We are happy to provide all meals if you require, but ask that helpers help with either the meal preparation or the clean up afterwards. We have access to wireless internet and are able to pick up helpers from Bundaberg if they do not have their own transport. Due to the lack of public transport where we live, it is probably more suitable if you have your own transport if you wish to visit local attractions. We would like some assistance with feeding/caring for the animals, housework, cooking and gardening. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures. We have hosted a lot of helpers in the past and thought it was time to start aga...

We are a certified organic farm operating since 2004 and producing mostly a wide diversity of seed crops as well as Spring and Fall vegetable starts, soft fruit plants, and many native plants. We now have 260 +different seed varieties, including kale, tomatoes and many new potato varieties that we have bred and selected here - very exciting. We have even created 2 new apple varieties and a berry! Our preference is for helpers who will stay a minimum of 2-4 weeks and ideally longer, as it takes a lot of our time to train someone to work well with these seed crops in the greenhouses and gardens. The farm has a nicer feel when folks stay for longer and we all get to know each other and have the time to enjoy working as a team. If you are a helper who has some farming experience, or who is passionate about working with plants, and you will apply the learning that you do here in your own future farming we'd especially love to hear from you! Training and seed education/experience for fut...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes Northwest of Ukiah) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary. Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden and orchards consist of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers. Aside from garden and orchard tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off-grid infrastructure and solar system. Please read all of our information before contacting us. We require a one month minimum stay. Our homestead is remote and therefore not for everyone. Hello, I live in the beautiful Charente region 16140, and am looking for help with all sorts of jobs, from feeding the donkeys and other animals to painting and helping in the garden 😊 I am slowly bringing this lovely old château back to life after being empty and abandoned for many years. I enjoy growing my own organic vegetables and looking after my animals. I recently planted an orchard and have lots of other projects I'd love your help with. In the past I've shared some wonderful times with helpers, many of whom remain friends and have visited several times. In return I offer a comfortable bedroom in the chateau with 3 meals a day, and cooked as much as possible with our fresh produce. I would like your help for 5 hours a day with weekends off. There is lots to explore like little villages and towns and the river. The coast is about an hour's drive away.

I have a cat. I don't accept others pets. Please contact me if you want more details. You can also have a look on my website via link below. Looking forward meeting you.

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during springtime ( 2026 ) for a 2 week period but that can be further negotiated. Work will be starting in April and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All of this work we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends.
