Hello, my name is Florent, I'm 45 years old, I was a chef for about twenty years, and since 2017 I've been a spirulina producer. Spirulina is a microalga that's very rich in nutrients. It's a very environmentally friendly crop, requiring little energy and no pesticides. Spirulina needs sun and warmth to grow. The harvest season in our region runs from April to October, and it's during this period that I'm interested in hosting someone (I don't need two people at the same time, one is enough). I already have people helping me until the end of july, so I'm looking for someone from this period. Since 2017, I worked with a partner who left for other ventures at the beginning of this year, and I now work alone. We've already had several interns on our farm. I need someone to help me out on the farm with various tasks, as we do everything ourselves: harvesting the spirulina, cleaning, labeling, packaging, general maintenance and odd jobs, communication, deliveries, farm tours, online or...

Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We open our farm to the public in the summer to share our beautiful property and all our animals. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out of you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes fe...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...

We're happy to share our life with people who wants to do new experience helping in our farm. We are supporters of organic agriculture since 1996 and we need your help to keep on in it . Vietri di Potenza is a very small village in Basilicata quiet and far from any kind of pollution. No tourism here but not far from Naples (Costiera Amalfitana) and Matera (European Capital of Culture 2019). You need one or two hours by car to visit the great places you can see in the Francis Coppola youtube video below. Francesco, my husband, and me look for help all year long especially during olive harvest on November, during July and August helping with "potatura estiva" (summer pruning olives trees) and our organic garden needs help to grow as well. We are professional tasters of Extravergine d’Oliva , Evoo, so we're happy to share this knowledge with our helpers. Everybody says that our home is big and comfortable. One room for volunteers and a bath to share. Good food. You’re welcome! Thank ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Hello, I am looking for some help with gardening and house maintenance, preferably someone with a bit of gardening know-how to help control (in a wild way) a medium size garden Also help with dog walking and possibly pet sitting for short periods. Bit of strimming and mowing, and some weeding. Renovation of window frames and painting when weather allows. Trying to grow veg as much as possible, but not easy up here.(lots of rabbits and deer) Indoors --- well could do with a bit of organizing! Person with organisational skills and sense of humour and who loves the great outdoors and the quiet would be ideal. One lovely dog and cat in the house, and the occasional guest. Hi there!! We have a small life style property in the sunny sunny Sth Wairarapa consisting of paddocks, gardens, fruit trees, and lawns etc... The living spaces are very tranquil - spacious gardens and pool area - can be quite a bit to maintain sometimes. There are a few animals here as well as many on surrounding farms. The property has two dwellings, as well as an art studio, plus sheds and other farm buildings. Help is always going to be very appreciated with the maintenance as well as the ongoing creation and construction of the garden areas etc. The Wairarapa is situated just an hour north of Central Wellington and we are located 15 minutes from the wine region centre of Martinborough where some of NZ`s great wines are produced There are many cafes, restaurants and vineyards The property location is quiet and peaceful, located amongst farmland on the river with its own private swimming spots. Generally the area is mostly farming and grape growing, the climate is hot and dry - a...

I'm a Londoner by heart who moved to Spain 20 years ago. In the UK I provided arts educational events for children with learning difficulties. I have two dogs and two cats and we live between two properties, one in the town of Aracena and a villa twenty-five minutes walk away in the beautiful countryside. My long-term plan is to create a unique children's learning environment/garden. In exchange for a flexible 5 hours of help a day, 5 days a week, you'll have your own room, wifi, meals, and laundry. Things I need help with : GARDENING : maybe some strimming, creating a magical path / treasure trail for the children, some chainsaw work and some help with fencing so that the dogs don't escape. BUILDING : if you have building skills or are a qualified carpenter, that would be great as I have a few things that need work on around the houses. MOSAIC WORK: if you have a creative flair and interest in making a magical space with tiles and mirrors, I will be starting a couple of piece...

Two hours work each day per person (No work on Sundays). You can do extra hours one day to take a day off the following day if you like. You can hang out with me later if you want to learn more about everyday Australian language and culture or you can just go and do your own activities. Room and simple breakfast of toast, tea or coffee, I can show you where to find free bread and there is generally some rice or pasta you can use, occasionally some fruit and vegetables, or other food included but not guaranteed. Please note, there is no internet on at the house, I prefer to communicate with people face to face. I only have internet on my phone. There is a community centre just down the road where you can access the internet on week days. There's also a club in town that has free internet and is open until 4am 7 days a week. Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked. As international travelers you qualify for a concession card on Queensland tra...

I am a 47yr old englishman living with my greek partner. We have a large land in a small village - Velanidia - in the Peloponnese near the sea. The nearest town - Neapoly - is 30 minutes drive. We would like our visitors to enjoy the beauty of this place and in return give us five to six hours a day to help us with the upkeep of the property. Most of the tasks will be working on the land. You will have your own room, with superb views, and eat with us twice a day.On most days there is free Wi Fi, provided by the local municipality, and can be used from the balcony of our home. We like our visitors to stay for at least two weeks minimum but prefer longer stays. I would like to point out that where we are has a very long summer. WELCOME to the Human Rewilding Project. We are young married couple coming from very different cultures and upbringings. We are living our dream of experiencing what it means to be alive as a proper human being. And that on our own land in one of the most beautiful and wild corners of Scotland. We aspire to become self sufficient in all we need for a happy and healthy life. Our house and the main parts of the croft lie on a hill with a breathtaking view onto Oldshoremore Beach. The view from our living room or from the garden invite for frequent moments of still admiration and gratitude. Alexa grew up on a Finca in the jungle of Costa Rica within her tribe, the Boruca. She was born into a lineage of healers and understands deeply the ways of plants and other beings. She learned from her elders about natural health, herbal remedies and energy work. One of her many missions is to pass on her shamanic knowledge and thus keeping alive her indigenous heritage. But the most important one...

My wife Sally and I are an Asian friendly couple who is keen to host a cultural exchange with any helper in the hope that the experience will mutually enrich and benefit both parties! We live in beautiful Sydney Australia in a spacious apartment which is conveniently located opposite the Auburn train station and in the midst of a busy shopping centre with Woolworth supermarket, grocery shops, meat and fish shops, fruits and vegetable shops, hair/nails and massage salons, convenient shops, post office and medical centres. Our apartment is also a short walk to Churches/Mosque, community centres and parks and playgrounds. We have a beloved pet dog named Buddy, a 9+ years old Japanese Spitz and house trained. Unfortunately, he has gone blind recently due to a condition known as SARD (sudden acute retina dysfunction). Luckily, he still has good hearing and smell and that allows him to get familiar with the home surroundings where he is most comfortable. A daily routine with Buddy is walk ...

This programme was created in 2010 by a small group of English teachers who have been working for several years alongside Native Speakers. The reason that we created this programme is to help the local students and give them the opportunity to learn English with English speaking-people. Cianjur is a non-touristy place with few travellers, so meeting english-speaking people is particularly valued here. In 2013, our programme was recommended by The Lonely Planet Guide Book. The programme was founded by five locals; the team are enthusiastic and passionate about improving the local student’s English. The team: Irwan Kumis, who is fluent in English, has been teaching primary school English for 9 years, as well as working for several years as a guide for Western travellers. He previously worked for a German NGO, Forder-und Interessengemeinschaft, as a volunteer in post-Tsunami Reconstruction and Development on Sabang–Weh Island–Aceh. He studied Economics at a University in Cianjur and ...

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

We're a busy household on a lifestyle block in Coatesville, a rural village about 30 minutes northwest of Auckland city. The property is large, a substantial architecturally designed home, big established gardens, and open paddocks with horses. A lovely place to spend time, but it takes some keeping up with, which is where we need a hand. What we need help with: Mostly outdoor work — weeding, planting, mulching, general garden tidying and light property maintenance. Occasionally household work like cleaning windows, tiding out the barn etc. Nothing too technical, just someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, has common sense and takes pride in the work. What's here: Two dogs and several horses are part of daily life on the property. The gardens are well-established and interesting to work in. There's a swimming pool on site for downtime. We have 4 university aged children who are home at intervals during the year. Coatesville itself is a great base. There's are two good ...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM the middle of May. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post office and a small shop AND ex...

We are building a roundwood timber frame house on the edge of the English Lake District as part of a small, sustainable co-housing development of 5 properties. We collectively own 13 acres of land which includes the 5 building plots, a 5-acre meadow, a small woodland and there is a river running along 2 sides of our land. We are in a very quiet spot, surrounded by nature but only 10 mins drive from the centre of Kendal (famous for Kendal mint cake). We are looking for keen, friendly, positive people to help build the house and sometimes help out in the garden, allotment or polytunnel. We can offer a tent to stay in or parking for a small van and we will provide 3 meals a day, 5 days a week in exchange for 5-6 hours work per day for those days. Late afternoons and weekends are free for volunteers to walk, relax, swim in the river or explore the Lake District which is on our doorstep. We are happy to collect volunteers from Oxenholme or Kendal station and take them to a nearby bus stop i...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. .

Also some help with the bigger cleaning jobs, like the vast windows! I am living in the middle of Dartmoor National Park which is a great place for walking and scenery, and one of the last remaining wilderness areas in England. Person with organisational skills and sense of humour and who loves the great outdoors and the quiet would be ideal. One lovely dog and cat in the house, and the occasional guest. Please note, due to financial constraints I cannot accommodate long term helpers , part...

About our land and us: We are a busy family of four living on a rural property, about 5km out of Te Anau. We have thirty acres of land that looks out over Lake Te Anau and the Fiordland mountains. We are progressively planting parts of our land in native NZ plants. We have a few sheep and chickens, and a decent sized vegetable garden, orchard, potting shed and plant nursery. We have both worked in conservation for the last 20 years and are more than happy to share our experience and knowledge with helpers, and enjoy the opportunity to learn about you and where you are from. When helpers are needed: All year round. 3-4 hours a day. Singles or couples welcome. No food is included. Happy to cluster hours to provide flexibility for exploring Fiordland and can offer advice about local walks and activities. We are two hours drive from Queenstown, two hours from Milford Sound.

Love to host a strong guy or 2, or a couple that have some gardening/farming experience to help out around the nurdery/property or has carpentry to replace some trim and architraves or welding skills (projects include welding some pipe/RHS to make a few spinning shooting targets and maybe construct a beer keg smoker...and of course a bit of a spin for some snorkelling and fishing around the islands and reefs in the boats... Volunteers can use their time here to sign off for 7 days a week towards their 88 days 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off and we have helped many backpackers secure a second/third year visa as we are registered primary producers in the correct postcode for "disaster relief". Please make sure you let us know you are looking to get your visa days signed off so we can provide appropriate work from the cyclone recovery list...also be sure to answer the questions at the end of this description in your initial email to us... We like to go on boating trips, catching barramun...
