I’m looking for someone to stay for a few days (usually 3–5 at a time) to help in the garden and around the house. Tasks might include general food forest maintenance, light gardening, window cleaning and general housework. I'm located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I'm usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, and also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during springtime ( 2026 ) for a 2 week period but that can be further negotiated. Work will be starting in March and into April and May of 26.We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All of this work we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting.
