Welcome to Christchurch, our family and our horse farm. Existing out of a authentic Kiwi and Dutch culture with one teenagers, a cat and bunch of horses. We are FULLY BOOKED FOR MARCH and will be looking for TWO friends or a couple sometime in April. We can offer free accommodation and meals for two people in exchange for 4 hours help a day. Your bedroom will be in our club house a barn turned into rooms and work space. The rooms are finished but the place around it is still very rustic and a work in progress as we make improvements. You are of course totally part of our family so can hang in the comforts of our house any time. We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. Also 6 chicken, so we always have fresh eggs. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown edible garden. We're about to get ducks in addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We like to work with fun and laughter and love to see you letting a bit of your craziness out. Be yourself and join the family... We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Please note that there's a minimum of 1 week stay, we do not like to be used as a pit...

Hi helpers! We are sammy and nick We have moved from our farm to a new place on the coorong in SA! The local town of Meningie! We have built a beautiful home on the lake. and have been hosting helpers for almost 8 years! Check our reviews The position we have currently would suit either a couple or a single. The position is a bee keepers assistant and you would be required to help with bee keeping tasks with Nick like extracting and labelling honey and also taking care of some light house chores and dog walking. If you have your own car that is preferred but not a dealbreaker. You must be able to drive a manual vehicle. It’s can be hot and sweaty work outdoors in the sun and you cannot be allergic to bees. It can also be very messy and sticky. We would provide you with a room in our home. It is a new build on the lakeside with our two dogs and Nick and myself. In between bee keeping tasks we would be appreciative if you can help with light cleaning tasks around the home when we ne...

Our farm is in a remote and magical scenic area of the outer Marlborough Sounds. We have a number of cattle and their calves, hens, our dog Trixie, our cat Elmo, 2 friendly pet sheep, Ivan and Mavis. There are always interesting things that need attending to on the farm and in our vegetable garden. We have many areas of garden and regenerating native bush. Plenty of variety on the projects. We have good beaches and nice walks. Your own transport is the easiest or there is a passenger service from Rai Valley Village. Check out our website if you need public transport and you can message us anytime. GENERAL INFORMATION We grow most of our own vegetables. We make compost and use animal manures as fertilisers. With winter we action a great progressive project to plant and regenerate areas with hundreds of native trees. Creating windbreaks, animal shelter, and native bird habitat. Come and join in on a creative and rewarding project. We generally work 4-5 hours a day. We have clean and ...

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm wit...

We started our Vineyard back in 2004,it is located in a Beautiful,Quiet,Valley along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. We have five children that have now grown and moved out on there own. I just retired from a career of Process Instrument Work at the local power plant. I could use some help with the Vineyard and Gardens, but also enjoy fishing and boating on the river in the evenings and of course days off. We would be willing to supply your own bedroom, great meals and WiFi. We also have two Female Collies that love to get brushed and played with. The ideal person would have to be able to work on there own or in a small group, after some training of course to get you up to your comfort level, so as you basically understand what the goals might be for the time of year and tasks at hand, a five hour day,if the weather permits, is what we usually work . There might be a few longer days, but I`m sure that having time off to check out the area won`t be any problem. If you would care t...

Kia ora, We are open and hosting helpers again for the Autumn garden clean-up & house clean & some exterior painting if the weather improves. The garden has been great all Summer but the storm a few weeks ago took out the runner beans, the hops & the tomatoes earlier than expected. We are looking for help with our Autumn clean-up. We have a spray free, suburban garden in Ngaio, Wellington. For the next phase, we would like your assistance with some of the following tasks. *Weeding *Garden tidy. *Trimming ivy. *Mulching *Cleaning/staining the fence cap *Cleaning windows *Prepping exterior weatherboards & window surrounds for painting Our preference would be that you are able to help for 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday 9am-1pm, and have the weekend off to explore the area. There is some flexibility but mostly tasks are based around the weather forecast and the priority is gardening. If it's too wet/windy there are alternative cleaning tasks/food prep indoors. If you're only avail...

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. Alcohol is available at cost. If we click, long-term stays (until late May 2026) are preferred, just like several of our previous helpers who stayed with us for more than five months! The vacancy is available now. Our 12-hectare lifestyle block is located 20 minutes/km south of Whangarei (15 minutes by car to Bream Bay sandy beaches). It's an oasis of 50% native bush, rest paddocks and subtropical orchards: 60% bananas and a canopy of schizolobium, cherimoyas, papayas, mango, feijoa, and temperate fruits. Not to forget the SACRED GROVE where many events like parties, weddings (Ceremony and Reception) took place. If you're arriving by public transport, we can arrange a pickup in Whangarei. However, having your own car...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. I am surrounded by millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve and there is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a caravan with a very comfortable double bed, fridge, stove etc. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. I need help with everything. Chainsaw work, general cleaning up, weeding and gardening, painting. Must be comfortable up a ladder as I need the gutters c...

Update: We are booked for most of 2026. Thank you for your interest. We might have availability for October 2026, but will only know closer to the fall. We are located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. My husband and I have 5 horses, 2 dogs, and 1 vineyard - no kids. Our helper would have to be a dog & horse lover, interested in natural horsemanship and be a good rider. We are not looking for people that want to get started with horses or are beginners. You are expected to help with the morning chores, walk the dogs, work in the vineyard or garden, and do the odd job here and there, depending on the season. House chores are shared. In exchange, you have room & board, internet access, are included in all activities, and we play with the horses or we go riding. Are you a non-smoking, self motivated, outdoorsy & fit person? Then we would love to hear from you!

We are an active retired couple 600 metres up overlooking Lake Hume, the Murray River and the Victorian snowfields. We are on the border of New South Wales and Victoria. Our major town is Albury Wodonga where we could pick up anyone from the station, if necessary. We have cork oaks, olives, pistachios and fruit trees. The neighbours run sheep on the place from time to time. We have just started making cider if you come at that time of the year you can join in with the pressing. We would need help with general maintenance, pruning, mowing, gardening, a little fencing, wood chopping, painting etc. You would live with us in our house and meals would be provided. Work would generally be in the mornings with the afternoons free to explore the region, swimming in the lake, skiing in winter. We speak French.

We need help for the month of May 26! Welcome to our small family run Bed and Breakfast in the beautiful town of Denmark, in the south of Western Australia. Surrounded by magnificent trees and the beaches of the southern Ocean, there are many things to do, especially bushwalking, surfing and snorkelling. The town is 5km away, the nearest beach 2km. As all our three children have left and live their own lives elsewhere, it is just me, Anna, my husband Matt and our beautiful old dog Anuschka living here. We are from Germany originally and have been here for the past 26 years. We have always open doors and have hosted many backpackers over the years. You will be sleeping in our caravan in the garden which has its own undercover deck in front and a double bed. You will be having your meals with us in our comfy kitchen. We require help with maintenance around the house as well as special projects and some help with the B&B. We love to try out food prepared by you, if you like.

Hello travellers. Currently looking for someone or Possibly a couple who can help with garden work and a bit of exterior maintenance stuff. We completely understand that you are in New Zealand to travel, so we really try to facilitate this as much as possible during your stay. We have a 3 year old girl and a 2 year old boy and are in need of some extra help around the place. We have a lifestyle block with friendly horses, sheep, a cat, and a dog that would all love your attention (and the same goes for the garden). Our place is located really close to Christchurch (about 15 minutes from CBD). About the work, light gardening, looking after/moving animals, and some indoor jobs if it is raining. We would really value your help. In general it will be around 20 hours per week for free accommodation in your own self contained apartment. It has its own kitchen so you will be feeding yourself. I also run a small Campervan company and may be able to offer some paid work through this com...

Seven years ago, Tim and I moved to our little farm, and we've been busy ever since; growing a garden, planting trees, and learning how to care for the land. We joined Landcare to better understand the local trees and wildlife, especially the ones that need a bit of extra protection. Tim is a retired engineer and has a knack for designing and building, so he’s been having a great time working on the infrastructure around the property. As for me, I’m a creative arts teacher and public health practitioner. I still teach both online and on campus at an Australian university, balancing my work with farm life. One of my biggest passions here is my rose garden with 400 fragrant bushes, and I'm dreaming of making rose water and rose oil one day. We’ve also got a thriving organic fruit and veggie garden, with plenty of fruit trees and a mix of seasonal vegetables. Our dam is well stocked with yabbies, and we’re just a short stroll from the Murray River, perfect for a bit of fishing. I lo...

Kia Ora We live in a lovely historic village of Puhoi, about half an hour north of Auckland . We have been hosting through helpx many years and enjoy sharing our home and countryside surroundings. Our house is a short walk to the village center of Puhoi. Regional parks and beaches are close by. There is the famous Puhoi pub nearby, and the village is on the Te Araroa walkway route. There are other walks and parks nearby to explore in free time. Your own transport is recommended, but we can pick up from Hibiscus Coast Bus Station, if you are using public transport. The work around here are are mainly outdoor work like gardening, tree pruning, and other practical building types of work if you have the skills,. On wet days there's cleaning, etc. Also assisting with photography, design and websites could be of use to promote our separate holiday cottage that's just about ready to promote. We are currently available for hosting. People who like dogs would like it here, we have a...

Accommodation is in the “blueberry cottage,' a self-contained flat that is across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi. I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard goodies you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make a big lunch at the house for everyone (lots of home made bread and cakes) and the afternoons/evenings are your own. I'll keep the larder stocked with whatever food you like, we don't eat much meat but can supply it. We have bikes for your use and are surrounded by wineries, or there's always a shady tree to nap under. Warning we do have insects, and in the summer picking time can't take helpers who are colourblind. For ease of booking we'd prefer if you can plan on coming and going on Mondays, one week minimum stay. We are a ten minute walk from the bus stop. Here's a little video on us, bit dated now but it'll give you the idea https://ww...

Hi everyone! We have a beautiful property a short walk/drive away from a gorgeous New Zealand beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 20-25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here or public transport, just farmland. So if you enjoy being away from cities and people then this is the place for you! Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude. There is a beautiful mountain right by our house for hiking, great surfing and fishing in the area, and Raglan (a little over 20 minutes away) which is a vibrant and energetic little beach town with world famous surf. This exchange is for accommodation only. We have a cabin with a big bed and beautiful views of the farmland and mountain and sea. There is a kitchenette for you to keep and cook your own food. The bathroom is about 20 metres away from the cabin and it is a composting toilet with shower that does the job but is gravity-f...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM EARLY APRIL.. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

We are located in the mid of the Atlantic Rainforest about 120 km away from Rio deJaneiro city.  Our project started 13 years ago and building work is still going on but there is an end in sight, the vegetable garden and orchard are in good shape but need a caring hand all the time.  Our reforestation project is concluded; we planted 2500 native trees of the Atlantic Rainforest on a hill where cattle were grazing in the past. The concept includes MTB-trails in order to facilitate the planting and maintenance of the trees. Along the trails we planted plenty fruit trees. There is still work to do with the cycle trails in order to use them with a bike. There are several buildings where we live on our land. The kitchen is communitarian; we usually take turns for preparing the lunch. We cook vegetarian and try to use as much as possible what we can grow on our land. We have chickens, dogs and cats that live with us and we need a hand with them too. We can provide a room with private ...
