Autumn update: I think I will need some help in late September and early October. This is to clear anything not going to my next house. I am due to move in Mid October. Our family live on a large farm close to Margaret River (famous for surf, wine, beaches etc). It's a beautiful farm in a beautiful region and there are 16 family members living in various dwellings, with various projects going all the time. Our corner of the farm includes veggie gardens, chook runs, timber plantations, olive trees, and ornamental gardens. For helpers we have 3 different caravans with double beds and outdoor undercover kitchen dining areas. Both my wife and I work off the farm (I'm a music teacher and she is a social worker) so we usually require help maintaining our gardens, cleaning our house and building stuff. We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. They get fed twice a day and the kennel need to be kept clean. Cuddlings are always very welcome. I would be happy to cook together and keep the house clean. Hello, my partner John & I, have had a wonderful time sharing our home with volunteers. We now have a vacancy from September 18th. Short or longer stays are welcome. We usually have 2 volunteers staying with us, each with their own bedroom. Volunteers can cover each others time off & share the tasks. We usually take volunteers out to places of interest, on a Saturday. We live as a family & enjoy many things together, with our volunteers, many of whom have become lasting friends. We live in a 4 bed modern dormer bungalow, in a beautiful village, with a shop & bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house. We live with my father, who is 89 years old and has memory loss. My father is calm & relaxed. Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during the summer (2026) for a 2 week period, maybe longer. Starting in June and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All these tasks we do together. Further work includes simple window washing, exterior window and door painting. Saturday house cleaning, gardening, pool cleaning, ironing sheets for the rentals, etc. We are chefs from New York City so we offer great food and comfortable accommodation though we do not do cooking classes to our helpx friends. You won’t do much with the kids only make sure they are awake for school but they will cook for them selves so ur main duties is to walk the dogs and keep house clean and look after cats also You will be one of the family and we would like u to come join us when we go places, unless u want to chill out at home that is also no problem... Myself and my dad and a another helper are milking 200 cows. Cows are calving.
