We live on a semi rural farming property of 52ha overlooking the Waitemata harbour with views of Waiheke, Rangitoto and the Skytower, 30 mins south east of Auckland City. We are two minutes from the beach and there are several walks and cycling tracks nearby. We mainly farm sheep and also keep bees. You would be living as part of our family and are welcome to join in with any social events and activities, in particular fishing and boating. We have 3 adult children, and three grandchildren as well as three dogs and a cat. As a family we all enjoy meeting people from different cultures and forging connections with them and now have lifetime friends around the world. You can help us with gardening, landscaping, painting, building bee apiaries, planting natives (Autumn) and general housework and maintenance. This is a mountain hut immersed in Italy's largest protected park, at 1300 meters, in a forest on Mount Pollino. Managed by an official guide of the park, we organize excursions, canyoning, hiking, climbing and horseback riding throughout the park. The refuge consists of five rooms (with bathrooms) for a total of twenty beds. Kitchen and dining room in common. Helpers sleep in a room that they share together. I also keep sheep and cattle on the property here, and hunt deer and pigs in the forest. The Humpback whale and mackeral season starts during July and we enjoy getting out and catching a feed of fish while watching the whales cruise by ..last season a couple of Wwoofers that stayed here awhile saw at least 50 whales over several trips during the winter ..some less then 10 metres from our boat.... From Mid-July we would particularly love to host people 25 yrs and over with some gardening, carpentry or physical labour skills to help out around the garden,plant nursery and farm/orchard.. We have a mixed farm on Swanpool Creek, in Swanpool (north east Victoria) with a farmhouse on the top of a hill with views of the surrounding mountains. Murrnong has a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming.
