Hi, I’m Keith. Since 2012, hundreds of volunteers from many countries have helped our projects. We are very grateful for their help and many have become our good friends and come back for a second, third or even fourth visit! In 2020 I started a new project in a town in Northern Ireland. It’s a campus that focuses on peace building education. Our aim is to creatively and sensitively explore the resistances to peacebuilding - knowing that such resistance can resource transformation. It’s not a commercial business, but a “not-for-profit” that needs lots of volunteers! We have three types of volunteers. 1. Volunteers - help with site work, painting, maintenance, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, office work. They come for a couple of months, though sometimes a shirt as two weeks or as long as a year! 2. Interns - come for at least 2 months, often 3 or 4 months or longer, and do work such as research related to their studies, marketing, accounts, social media, fundraising and grant...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. WE ARE CURRENTLY RESTRUCTURING THE ALLOTMENT AND NEED HELP WITH LIFTING AND MOVING PAVING We've been part of Helpx for several years now and have met some wonderful people, many of whom we still keep in touch with. We live in York, in the north of England, where we have a garden and (a 10 minute walk away) an allotment where we grow fruit and vegetables. We try to cultivate using the `no-dig` method and like to re-use and recycle wherever possible. Our house has solar panels on the roof for hot water and electricity, as we are keen to reduce our impact on the environment. We are a working farm and holiday park above Monkstone beach and within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There is a small young team here full time. We are looking for one or two people to help on the farm and park. You will be required to do a variety of jobs including working with the team, helping with farm work especially lambing, helping with feeding animals, gardening, cleaning and D.I.Y. We are looking for people who are happy to get involved with cleaning the yurts for guests as well are all the other farm related jobs we have going on through out the year. I’m living alone with my cat in Kjølevik, nearby the Preikestolen and Stavanger. My house is laying 150m from the sea and it need some love to be a home for more people. I'm a retired nurse and love to meet new people. I'm Dutch and live 30 years in Norway. I have also worked on Haiti and Curaçao. This is a small project in a heritage farm house in beautiful Lower Saxony. We are at the moment three people, two cats and some chickens. We speak German, English, French and Spanish. Hi there and welcome If you are keen to do something with bees from February to May we will be harvesting and processing honey in the mornings until around 2pm. Please note - if you are allergic to bee stings, then this is not for you! In the afternoons, If you are a capable horse rider you are welcome to come ride with us as part of the leisure activities and spend time with the horses at the farm. We try and get to competitions every few weeks so if you want to travel with us for a few days you are welcome to come along! At times, we travel and work in Canterbury driving through the scenic Arthurs Pass area and work at our small lifestyle property in Canterbury where there are also sheep and bees and we have mature tree plantations for firewood and logs. Work days might be a bit more than 4 hours some days (due to travel to the bee work) but we will make sure you get a fair deal! We are a family-run commercial mango farm, producing and drying mangoes. The work is mainly gardening drying mangoes and packing dried fruit and sometime we dry pineapple and dry banana, cleaning and cooking. Accommodation in our home and we will supply all meals and free Wifi is available. Meat based mixed diet shared with hosts. Smoking outside only we are located 1hr from Cairns We eat together in a family atmosphere and all help with cooking and washing the dishes. We are a little unconventional community of 4 persons (66,65,71,74), 1 friendly dog and 2 playful cats and we live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden. Our children are on their own, but they sometimes visit us. We raise our own organic vegetables in several raised beds and normal garden beds. There is always something to do in the garden and around the house or walking the dog, cleaning windows and so on... We live in a small rural village in the beautiful hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt can be visited easily. There is a good public transportation to all these cities.
