I live in a beautiful area on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in the headwaters of the Mary River, not far from Crystal Waters Ecovillage. The forest is diverse from subtropical rainforest to open eucalypt forest. I am an artist and manage my property for its ecological assets. Weed management is a big part of this. I mainly need help with general maintenance and carpentry around my owner-built house. We try to cultivate using the `no-dig` method and like to re-use and recycle wherever possible. My husband Matthias and I, Johanna, came from Germany as backpackers in the 1980s. We met here in NZ, but our home language is German. We are a family with eight children, who we home-educated throughout their school years. Three of them are now married, and we have five grandchildren. Hello, we have a small 3-hectare farm with a vegetable garden, a few fruit trees, and 250 lavender plants. The work is not at all difficult; it consists of watering the vegetable garden every day, which takes about two hour. During the summer, we water the lavender plants twice a week .we need a girl or women as Yoko is Japanease origine feel uneasy with men. There’s also some work involved in tending to the plants or harvesting sometime in season . Other than that, if we’re away, you’ll be looking after our mini rooster and his two chicken for the moment . We also have a very sweet girl cat. Please note that our land is certified organic. Hi, we are currently looking for helpers for one week between the 27 September and 2nd October. Welcome to Dunedin, New Zealand! We have two double rooms available in our family home. We are a 15 hectare lifestyle block, with about 10 sheep, chickens, ducks, pet dog, and two cats.We both work full time in education. We have a lot of native bush on our land and planted forest blocks. Some small paddock areas. There are a lot of jobs we need help with! Clearing scrub, weeding, pruning etc. There is plenty to do inside if it's a rainy day! Accomodation is a nice light double room and all other facilities are shared. I am professional early retired gentleman in my early 60's who lives in a 4 bedroom house with a substantial garden. I seek a helper who will assist with maintaining garden and house and be an engaging companion. House usually has other residents - either tenants or volunteers so there is almost always a little community atmosphere. A private room is provided to all volunteers and house has excellent modern facilities. Also, we often play puzzles, play chess and watch tv movies and TV shows. Listening and sharing music is also a constant activity. Finally walking around Dublin city and exploring the local area is something we do.
