We live on a small hill farm in the beautiful county Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We are a family of four. Becky and Kilian and our daughters Zoe (11) and Bea (8). Fiona (18) is also staying with us this year as an au-pair. We are quite remote so it is very serene and peaceful and the view is amazing. We speak English and German as well as French. We farm organically and have 15 free range organic pigs as well as 2 horses and 5 cats. We also have a poly tunnel and farm garden where we grow vegetables for our own use. Becky works from home and Kilian when he is not farming, has an additional part time job which calls him away on projects from time to time. We live 1km outside a little village called Redcross. It has a pub that brews its own beers and there is also a restaurant, snack bar and shop. We are 20 minutes to drive from a town called Arklow which is on the sea and there is normally a chance to get a lift in but it’s only a 1 hour cycle. Wicklow is a cool part of t...

Bevan and Emma live in a lovely home in Petone, Wellington with our 3 children (11, 9 and 6) and our friend Caitlin (25). Petone is a 10 minute drive or train ride from Wellington city and Petone itself has lots of cafes, bars, supermarkets, beach and a cinema all within 10 minutes walk. We are looking for around 3 hours help per day with childcare, cleaning, light gardening, meal prep and general home help. In exchange for this, we will provide accommodation in a room (queen bed) in our family home and breakfast and dinner. We are a fun family and love meeting new people. We have a lovely outdoor area with a spa and outdoor shower :) We'd love to hear from you!

Wonderful opportunity !…..Looking for a single person (ideally aged early-mid 20s or older) to help out with a variety of jobs from early April 2026 (usually a week or ten days but length of stay can be discussed and agreed). There will be jobs outside mainly tidying up the garden, where there are flower and vegetable beds, as well as fruit trees, + some indoor and outdoor painting. You will be the kind of person who enjoys being outdoors for most of the day (all weathers). Ideal for those interested in garden design and who enjoy being in a rural environment. When it’s raining there’ll be some indoor jobs to do - DIY, cleaning and general household tasks/maintenance. Ideal for person with practical skills. Approximately 25 hours per week, with two clear rest days which can be taken individually or together, depending on the weather! I run Air BnB and 1:1 English language courses from my farmhouse in the Norfolk countryside, a short drive from the beautiful city of Norwi...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

We have many projects on the go and we can offer a wide range of experiences, from indoors decorating to full on gardening in barren spaces or in a veggie garden. I like to scythe, and am happy to teach this ancient skill. We run a bike shop in a narrow old red brick building and are steadily refurbishing the building while keeping the shop open. We are working to conservation standard, using lime mortar and traditional methods. Our shop is around 150 years old and we want to preserve its character as much as possible. We can teach how to slake hot-lime and mix for different applications. We hope to open a cafe-bar at some point. At home we are working towards being off-grid: digging a well and getting a pump working, increasing solar hot water capacity and installing photo-voltaic panels. We have a large garden and are planting trees for food and wildlife. We enjoy life: working hard, meeting new people and cycling around the South West, especially if it involves a good Somerset pu...

I'm on the lookout for a strong male (or two), or a couple, for a few weeks or more. (Some have stayed for much longer). I'd love to have someone, anytime from now, to help me with general garden stuff, and bits and pieces of projects. Always something new to do here. No skills is fine, just a bit of strength and willingness, but some handy-man skills would be useful too. I also would sometimes love some help with a bit of house maintenance /cleaning and brush cutting etc. I live in a beautiful silent forest valley dwelling with about an acre of garden. It's a wildlife refuge abundant with bird and wild life. It's 7-8 mins from charming Mullumbimby with it's farmers and general markets and cafe culture. Stuff for young and older 25mins, from beautiful Byron Bay and 20 from Brunswick heads, so lots of beaches and surf etc Also lots of walks. I would like someone who can speak English as there will be lots of communication involved. It's definitely best to have a car. You'll have ...

Next availability: Please inquire Hi there, I’m Leon. Through COVID, I saw how serious not having food self sufficiency could be, and started to think about agriculture. Currently, I work at a strawberry farm, invested in a vegetable farm, and just got started on a yuzu farm. The average age of farmers in Japan is at 69.2 (as of 2024) and is set to worsen. There is a serious lack of young people choosing to do agriculture. Your help will be truly appreciated by the farmers here. I started my learning journey in agriculture through volunteering, so I want to create similar opportunities for others to learn, and hopefully inspire people to choose agriculture. I will try my best to give you a meaningful experience during your time here! Please let me know if you have any other skills you can contribute! Where is this? Himeji city of Hyogo prefecture. Himeji city has a population of ~500k people, and is considered “inaka” or countryside by many Japanese people. You can get away from the ...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys. ...!! With only the help of real hard working wwoofer's/ HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 26 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked hard, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! As I am now in my late winter years , instead of my helpers assisting me , I assist my helpers LOL , usually in the morning and than we try to cook a meal . I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music...and of course "grumpy" me and please understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. The good cook , Chen my ex wife , mentioned in a lot of reviews has moved on . In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, ( YE...

Mission: Based in Taiwan, with a global vision - our vision is to build stronger communities by promoting cross-cultural creativity and talent exchange, both locally and internationally. We are a non-profit social organization dedicated to promoting the development of the cultural and creative industries and strengthening Taiwan's international artistic outlook. We were founded in Vancouver, Canada, where we founded the "We Love Vancouver Festival," a community event celebrating art and dance by showcasing music and dance from diverse cultures. This event allowed local and international artists to share their shared appreciation for art, and more! Our success in Vancouver inspired us to enthusiastically bring our vision to Taichung, Taiwan! In August 2014, we launched the non-profit Global Village Project in Taichung, Taiwan. Volunteers from around the world transformed an old house into a platform for multicultural artistic exchange and sharing. In August 2024, we relocated to Zhon...

I live on a 32 hectare property between Greymouth and Hokitika (most of which is native forest) with a view over the Taramakau river. The land and house need ongoing maintenance including gardening, gathering firewood, window cleaning, painting and clearing tracks. My preference is someone (or a couple) who have been raised in the countryside, strong, and capable with machinery. An international drivers licence would be a bonus. I like people who work hard, and are capable of doing so with limited supervision. At the moment I am splitting and stacking firewood Usually I cook but may need help with some cooking from time to time. My children are grown up, and not living at home... In return for 4 hours work for every night you stay, I look after you well. The food is tasty wholesome farm cooking. Vegetarians are welcome, but for those with special diets should indicate when applying. Also i appreciate having a few days notice so I can shop!) You have use of an ensuite while he...

My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station. I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer I have lived here all my life and can introduce you...

Available now - painting experience wanted. I have been living in Whangarei for most of my life - love it here :-) myself and partner have recently bought a home on half an acre of land a few minutes drive from the CBD and also have a Waterfront Bach 10 minutes drive away too. Love helping the community, mountain biking and mountain biking trails and exploring lots of fun things to do nearby. With these homes there`s plenty of work to be done around - including especially painting, yard work / gardening, housework, helping building a tree house etc. I`d like to meet some travellers to help out with these and happy to introduce / show around some of northland`s best attractions / secrets! Can provide sleeping quarters, food and drinks for around 4 hours work per day.. Can also potentially provide a bike to borrow / further allowances dependent on the level of work.. Also if anyone has any specific experience and career history as any building related trade I would happily pay a go...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

The accomodation is a 8' x 12' studio with a small covered front porch. There's high speed wifi and solar power, and it's surrounded by forest. There's a nice hexagonal composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and a shared kitchen and dining area. Looking for someone who can work independently on some tasks (gardening, painting) while I'm at my day job, and we'll work together some too (tree planting, construction projects). I work as a zipline guide and love touring people around the Island, so I'd be happy to take you on adventures on the weekends too!

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

We are a family of three (our daughter is 3 years old) living on our family farm up the beautiful Clarence valley, half an hours drive north of Kaikoura. We have a mountain bike park on the farm, so this would be an ideal place for keen mountain bikers/ trail builders (although this is not a requirement!). If you have your own van/ self contained vehicle, there is a great spot to park up at the bike park camp ground. We need help during the season (October to April) to keep the grounds maintained and tidy. There's a pump track and jumps, so if you're travelling with your bike and enjoy sessioning jumps then this is ideal for you!! We're working on improving our camping facilities this season, so if you have skills building, landscaping, plumbing, or setting up solar panels then there is the opportunity for some paid work also. If you don't have your own sleeping setup, we do have some large tents that we can set up for you. We also have a self contained area in our rustic but cosy f...

We are a family of 4 offering a comfortable, self contained one bedroom unit to travellers in exchange for help with our garden, which we are gradually revegetating. Our children are 1 and 4 years old, so we welcome guests who enjoy being around little ones and who can be mindful of keeping noise low during nap times and evenings. Our home is located in a quiet neighbourhood just 4km from the Launceston CBD. There is a bus stop close by, and a local supermarket is only a five minute walk away. Just across the road from our home is Queechy Lake, a peaceful natural space that is especially appealing to birdwatchers and nature lovers. These wetlands attract a diverse range of local birdlife, making them a lovely spot for early‑morning walks, photography, or quiet relaxation. We are also within easy walking distance of Old Macs Farm, a family‑friendly area with gentle paths and farm animals, and the Punchbowl Reserve, a leafy park with walking tracks, picnic spots, and a popular playgrou...

Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also run smaller numbers of sheep. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am a keen outdoors person, love walking and climbing and often take helpers tramping, sightseeing, rock climbing or even rafting! I am looking for helpers from early March 2026 onwards. Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family, sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of September 2026. There may be a cancellation, but these are very rare, but if you are in the area, reach out, we love to chat :) As well as the normal homesteading tasks, if you want to learn about wine making, bee keeping, self defense, jewellery making, or help Tony with his self defense book and video courses, we could be a great match. Have a think, take a look at our reviews and if you are interested, drop us a line, *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the lo...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue, Tim & Ruth's cabins and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our chickens, cats, dogs, one registered ...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

*Current availability: 5th - 27th March 2026 and 20th April onwards* Kia ora! We warmly welcome you to come and stay with our family in Whanganui. We are on a lovely little 1 acre / half hectare block 8km from Central Whanganui. We grow lots of veg and we also have an abundance of fruit trees, especially pears and apples. We’re about 8 mins walk from a bus stop that will take you into town and it’s about a 25 min bike ride - bikes available. We are Maddie, Michael, Indi (born 2016) and Fern (born 2018). We have a cat called Midnight. Every year in March and April we need lots of help with the apple and pear harvest, and one job if you’re keen would be to sell the fruit at the local market which can be fun. In August we most need help with fruit tree pruning. The rest of the year we’d love help with weeding, mowing, strimming and general chores such as laundry and cleaning. If you’re great with kids some babysitting may be possible, or if you’re an excellent cook some cooking woul...
