This is what we are about in a nutshell: We are about inner peace for a compassionate world. You will be helping us to prepare this place for residential retreat and short break visitors to open fully in 2026. We will be hosting well-being, personal-development, meditation and similar groups as well as some guests who are holidaying in the area. It will be run as a community interest company. During the Summer / Autumn 2025 we are doing a lot of internal building work [taking down and building new timber stud walls, putting plaster boards up] and decorating [painting walls]. So plenty of opportunity to increase your practical skills and gain experience in renovating. We will put a green house up, preparing the grounds for a work shed and there is always some strimming to do, We value authenticity, integrity, honesty and self-awareness. We have put together this outline as a result of our hosting experience so far. We find that it helps to clarify what is on offer here and what is ...

Happy new year! Spring seems still a fair way away, though in SW France the weeding and ‘brico’ season is all the year round. As ever, there is plenty to keep one busy, but plenty of time to enjoy this wonderful part of the world. We would be delighted to welcome a single or couple willing to help us around the place. We look forward to hearing from you, and are ready to welcome you soon. Best wishes David and Helen

My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station. I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. We bought a farm (in late October 2023) and could do with some extra hands! Plenty to do for experienced or non-experienced. We offer you a retro caravan with two singles or parking space for your own van or tent with blow up mattress and excellent food - we grow lots ourselves, otherwise mostly organic and local where possible. Compost toilet. Hot shower down at the sheds. We live in a tiny house and enclosed shed next to it. Good off grid power with some wifi. It is a sheep farm, but the flock is small as we breed up a bit. We are only 7.5km from Tuatapere town that has all amenities. Invercargill is about 75km. You can go to the beach or bush or mountains on your time off. We are passionate about permaculture and can talk about it while having breaks and working. See our website for more info. Tasks could include digging, cutting wood, weeding, planting, making biochar, building, tending animals, and all sorts of basic DIY work for getting a homestead going. We work with helpers si...

We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (19) and Kinyin (16). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 20-25 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here! It is such an amazing time of year here in Spring - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! The hills are very beautiful. We are close to the city and a bus route but in the hills with koalas and kangaroos around... Spring is here!! We have many projects on the go like woven fences from grape vines, drainage, pruning, path making, planting natives, building wicking beds, spring and summer planting, mulching, bush regen, painting and more. The hills are spectacular right now - gardening with a glorious view! We have been Wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here! We have just been featured in the Grassr...

*** update august 2025 *** NEW : I moved to the center of France. I am building a new project: one global project with donkeys. There is a lot of physical work on the site: clearing brush, decluttering, gardening, animal care, DIY, construction etc. I don't eat animals, raw food basically. So, I prefer the helper cook his own meal (with my food, of course). You can stay in my house, in a share bedroom (with my absent daughter) or outdoor, in a tente if you prefer, near a pond and with the donkeys. There is two sites in my project : the house which is a reception house for activities and with all services etc. and the pond's site which is at 20 mn on foot from the house, with basics services. Contact me if you want to participate in the development of a beautiful project in the heart of nature, with animals. There is a ot of work, but you will choose what you want to do based on your skills ! One week minimum and I prefere long periods, more than one week is good ! PLEASE NO DRUG...

I am interested in hearing from suitable single female helpers that are able to stay around 3-4 weeks and can assist with care and maintenance of my sailing catamaran and home. My preference for female helpers is largely to do with the type of work you will perform and attention to detail that is required. When I have work that is better suited to males I will advertise as such….just not needed now. We will be departing Gladstone late January then cruise out to Great Keppel island and Lady Musgrave reef as weather permits. I have no schedule at present but there will be plenty of places to visit and or options to depart from. You will be an active, motivated person interested in marine life, reefs, turtles, fishing, snorkeling and the ocean as well as wanting to experience life on a comfortable sailing boat. I ask you to volunteer a few hours work each day in return for your own ensuite cabin with all meals provided while aboard. The work you will perform is mostly helping to keep...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

If you ask me this is one of the best thing I got into. Hosting volunteers travellers is the coolest way to meet and make friends with folks that really are into something. you are most welcome to bring your ideas inspirations here and share some energy in helping out. Hi there my name is Daniel. These many years of traveling brought me to that wonderful area near Chiang Mai I got instantly mesmerised by the beauty and wilderness. Here is this wonder piece of land as a place to be close to the nature develop a way to live off-grid.  love for nature creativity incentive mindfullness are the threads. You can bring some ideas, give hand at gardening maintaining the land at construction (learning quite a few trades in the process) In change you’ll have a glimpse at how to survive off-grid in a genuine way ending up in living in a sort of « Perma"  or « Eco » way  very respectful of the environment, not grabbing  too much resource from the universe « mother na I need help ...

** help needed : 01-09 February (or longer), Danielle would appreciate some help while we are away. ** We are an anglo-belgian couple retired to France with our 2 horses and miniature shetland pony, our adult daughter lives with us. French additions to our family include 2 dogs and the chickens. We are active in the local community and there are sometimes events or meals to attend where French is freely spoken. Horses are a big part of our lives. We would like to take on helpers to help and participate with everyday life which is getting harder as we get older! Possible jobs include: helping with the horses and miniature pony as a groom (helping mucking out and poo picking daily, feeding, grooming, fencing) and work in the garden such as weeding, watering and collecting vegetables. The allocation of work depends on your abilities and skills and the time of year. We live in the French countryside, having your own transport - or the ability to live out of town, is therefore ...

We are a small homestead with gardens and animals with a surface of 3.000 square meters. We cultivate fruit (about 25 trees: orange, mandarine, apple, almond, olive, etc), and vegetables. We have a lot of chicken (about 80) as well as a few cats (10) and dogs (3) running around. Other than that we try to produce a few organic products such as tomato sauce, dried tomatoes, and figs and make our own olives. I will have a surgery in mid April and I will be away for about 6weeks. For the time of my absence, I am looking for one or two reliable people who would like to stay with us and offer their support. Ideally, you would arrive about one week before my departure, so I can show you everything and explain all routines in detail. The main focus is on the loving care of our dogs and other animals, as well as a few small daily tasks. My husband will be here, but he is very busy with fishing ,so your help would be a great relief for him. We are happy to receive seriious applications from...

Hi everyone , I would like to have some help to get my house and garden organized and take care of my dog, she is 8 year old and maybe some minor construction work like sanding or painting. It would be great to have someone around if possible for at least 2-3 weeks so if you want to be part of a fun time just contact us. The Region offers lots of beautiful sites to discover and many sports activities are available. Connections by train are easy to every were. I live in a small town on the country side, speak french, english and german. Feel free to ask more details. It would be great to host someone independant, who likes to organize work alone and who would enjoy the privacy of a room and bathroom in a house with a garden. Lots of opportunities to visit the country as trains are running often and anywhere from early morning to late night. We are used to travel and have enjoyed so many helpers from around the world. See you soon !

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM THE BEGINNING OF MARCH. We are fully booked until then. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. An organic project in a stunning location, We’re currently completing a rainwater catchment system and doing some renovation projects around the farm. The work is hands-on and varied, and we usually work together for about 4-5 hours a day, 4-5 d days a week. If we’re having fun with a project, we might keep going a bit longer! The weather in winter is usually cool to warm and dry, which makes working outside pretty enjoyable. You’ll stay in a small bedroom with two beds at the farm, or possibly in a house in the nearby village, depending on what’s available. If our rainwater storage runs out, we have to collect our water from the village 3km away, so we’re mindful about water use. Torvizcon is the village close by with everything you might need—bar, shop, garage, pharmacy, and more. A direct bus to and from Granada runs 2–3 times a day, so getting around is quite easy even without a car. Orgiva is 14km away. If you enjoy practical projects, a relaxed atmosphere, and working togeth...

Hello Everyone, We've been hosting through helpx for over 10 years. We enjoy learning about cultures and people from all over the world. We have the pleasure of living on 350+ acres of natural bush country in Brooweena, Queensland. We have converted a bus to a tiny home, and we are currently building a shipping container home, this is a priority and would love people to help. We also grow a lot of our own food and have fruit trees. We are 100% off-grid with all our electricity from solar and tanks, dam, and rain for water. We have a friendly dog who loves to play. Our goal is to be as self-sufficient as possible, improve the soil, and regenerate the land to a healthy ecosystem. We use Permaculture Design methods. This means we don't use any chemical sprays, artificial fertilizer or mono-cropping on our land and live the values of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. It's a very exciting time for us to be embarking on our farming adventure, and we would like to share this t...

We are a couple with grown up children so we gout space to have up to 5 people stay and work with us at our organic farm. I am a cook and my partner is a teacher and landscape engineer. We work with vegetable production, in greenhouses and outdoor. In the summertime we have tomatoes, egplants, peppers, chillies, beans, mm in our greenhouses and different vegetables in the field. We need help for the farm work, and traditional construction work on different parts of the buildings. We have bicycles here for our guests so you can discover the surroundings. Odense is 17km away and the city of Kerteminde, by the sea, is 5km from our place. We like to have people around from all over the world, not only to get some help, but also to enjoy an cultural and social exchange. Hope to meet you soon Annette & Martin

Living here with me are sheep, , ducks, hens, Thomas the cat, , two miniature donkeys , one mammoth donkey, and 1 mule all with different personalities. At this time I will give a food allowance for you to make your own meals as I am on on a restricted diet. This has worked very well as it allows you to choose when to eat or where...maybe take a picnic or have a late dinner if busy exploring.. If you have a good heart and comfortable around farm animals this is the place for you...A comfy bed with your own bathroom.. Help ( four hours each day ) needed with, gardening, house work. animal care, cleaning animal shelters and general farm work so gumboots are needed. We are a family run home, perfect for the 1st time volunteer. Natural horsemanship is a real factor here if you want to learn more. Our mentors being Buck Brannaman, Steve Halfpenny and Ken Falkner. A safe environment for your 1st time away from home. You do not need any knowledge of horses but you do need to love dogs, they are a major part of the family and are constantly with us all 8 of them, dalmations, vizslas and 2 weimararners, and they do jump all over you. Constant appaloosas is a small holding where we breed and train horses for ourselves and occasionally others. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer I have lived here all my life and can introduce you...

The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, ...

We are a cultural and arts community that is working towards being self-sustained. The community is situated in the mountains of Monchique, Portugal surrounded by nature. Our community provides an alternative way of living with permaculture gardens, farm animals, sustainability projects, and arts and cultural workshops. It is a great place to come to meet other like-minded people if you are passionate about sustainability and alternative living. We hold community meetings throughout the week alongside activities and workshops, such as quiz nights, dance nights and yoga classes. If you have something you are passionate about and want to share with others, we would love for you to run a workshop. One of the best things here is the variety of tasks you can do as a volunteer, which gives you the opportunity to learn new skills and discover what you enjoy doing most. We have a combination of short-term and long-term volunteers and on average we have between 10 to 20 volunteers and resident...

Looking for a helping hand for a few days, help needed around our gardens and house/sheds etc. Our tropical property is located about 2 hours south of Cairns, 45 mins south of Innisfail and we can collect you from the bus in Wongaling if you do not have your own vehicle. My hubby and I are looking for someone, male or female, who enjoys the tropical outdoor life helping with work around the house and in the gardens. We would prefer someone who could stay for a minimum of 3/4 days. Around 4 to 5 hours work per day, mostly mornings from 7.30, in exchange for evening meals and accommodation. The village is a 15 min walk from here. Lots to do from here!!!great walking tracks, spot a cassowary possibly with his chick. It is an amazing beach, overlooking the Coral Sea. Our local IGA is in the next town and it would be no problem to take you shopping with us...come along for the drive. Your accommodation is separate to our house. You have a bedroom, fully self contained kitchen and ...
