We live in beautiful Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula (1.5hrs from CHCH and 30mins drive from Akaroa. We are a friendly (and busy!) family of four with two girls, a dog and 4 sheep. We are surrounded by native bush with walking tracks. It's a peaceful place suitable for people who'd like to share our wee slice of paradise. We are keen travellers and enjoy meeting people from all around the globe. We've hosted many Wwofers over the last 3 years and enjoy the special experiences sharing with interesting travellers brings. We are keen for some help around our garden with track maintenance, fence building, painting, pruning, general gardening and have some inside jobs too. If you have special skills that may help us please let us know. In exchange for your efforts, we'll provide 3 meals a day (including dinner at our house), and your own rustic self-contained cottage (see pics) around 20 metres from our house. You'll have your own wee kitchen, bathroom facilities and bedroom. Please note whil...

We offer a private self contained accommodation above the Gallery with lounge/kitchenette, double bedroom in exchange for house & garden maintenance in the Veggie gardens, and assisting our head gardener as well. The kitchenette is suitable for light meal preparations. You provide your own food. We run a Gallery venue & destination for international visitors to the island. With a busy working studio schedule here we are looking for independent, organised helpers. We are looking for ‘Experienced and Keen’ gardeners. Up to 12/14 hrs a week. Our Market Gardens are now in full swing, so weeding & assisting to general tasks like washing windows, stacking wood, sweeping as well as hedge and weed trimming occasionally. Anyone with stone work, brick work or carpentry would be great, as we often have smaller 'one off' projects as well. Ideal for those needing a place to stay while working part time on the island. Happy to explore this option. The Casale is a hand built cluster of eart...

Namaste! My name is Dipendra, I’m a 28 year old Nepali man with a passion for nature, culture, and sharing the beauty of my country. I’ve been working in trekking and guiding for many years, and now I invite you to be part of our simple, peaceful life in the countryside of Nepal. As a volunteer, you’ll stay in my family home with me, my wife, our young son, and my parents. You’ll become part of our daily life—helping with small tasks like gardening, cooking, taking care of animals, or even teaching basic English to my little boy. No special skills are needed, just a good heart and willingness to connect. In addition to the homestay experience, I also love to take guests on short treks and nature walks in the beautiful hills and forests near our village. I’ll guide you to hidden spots that only locals know, and share stories about the land and culture along the way. This is a chance to truly experience Nepali life from the inside—sharing meals, traditions, laughter, and local knowled...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

We have a property/lifestyle block with 2 kids (sometimes home if it’s the Uni holidays), my Mum, 9 chickens. 5 ducklings and a cat. We have been here 15 years and have been busy planting the orchard, pond, fruit and nuts etc. using the theories of permaculture. We work from home (office work) and need help outside primarily on the land. At the moment this is gardening, weeding, mulching, making a duck run. In exchange for your work we will provide food and accommodation. Food is usually super healthy. Accommodation is a small cabin on our lake (double bed only) heater, and spectacular views over the lake. Nestled In the trees next to the spa. We are 30 minutes from downtown Auckland, 5 minutes from Muriwai beach. Limited public transport out here, but a bus comes out from the city - The 125!. Looking for guests for around a week, this varies, we are flexible. Ideally looking for two people and ideally with outdoors experience! Thats us. Get in contact. Cheers Gendie & Ti...

We would love a bit of help with our projects. We are an energetic couple with grown children. We are 15 minutes from down town Tauranga and we are converting our farm from forestry back to grazing. We love having a team of helpx helping us. We have a beautiful property with lovely river running through - in summer it is great for swimming or using the pizza oven which we have by the river! Tasks will be varied mainly farm work to perhaps some painting, gardening or cooking!. Plenty to do without getting bored any help would be wonderful. There is so much to do in our region - from mountain biking to surfing at Mount Maunganui and a quick trip over the hill to see Hobbiton or a day trip to Rotorua. You would need your own vehicle as we are in the country. We will supply a room in the house with your own bathroom. We will cook meals for you. We love having young people around. Ideally you would have a good sense of humour and be relaxed sort of people. Non-smokers please....

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

We will provide a friendly environment, nice meals and good conversations, a comfy bed and fast wifi. We ask that you do 4 hours work on the day you arrive...

Hello everyone! I am Dayat, I was born in Bali and I moved to Lombok at a very young age with my large family. Growing up, I have been living between Bali, Lombok and the Gili Islands. Seven years ago I founded my sustainable tourism company with the help of Hannah. When Covid hit we lost nearly everything: we were a team of 10 wonderful independent drivers and guides. We launched an English club in our village, which we fund by donating a portion of our income from the trips: our goal is to give local children the opportunity to learn English in a fun and relaxed environment. We are now trying to bring back the company to how it used to be and to improve our English speaking club project in the local village. This is back and growing fast. I am now surrounded by an amazing team from the Muslim and Hindu communities in Central Lombok : you will meet Sani, Rina, Adi, Rinaldi, Carolina, Nyoman, Memek, Ummi, Wayan, and many more wonderful people. Right now we are looking for a web...

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

Join Our Home in Walnut Creek: A Unique Opportunity for Connection and Support Hello! My name is Bruce, and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to assist me with everyday life while also forming a meaningful connection. About Me and Our Home I broke my neck at 18, resulting in lifelong use of a wheelchair. Despite this, I pursued multiple degrees and have built a fulfilling life with my wife, Kim. We live in a cozy three-bedroom home in Walnut Creek, just 28 miles east of San Francisco. Our household includes our service dog, Bennett, a future service dog in training (Dorothy, our third), and two cats, Edna and Scarlett. Your Role & Contribution While Kim is my full-time caregiver, I need help with tasks that offset my paralysis, including: - Household Tasks – Light cleaning, keeping the kitchen tidy, and helping with laundry. - Personal Assistance – Bringing me food, water, and other necessities I can’t manage on my own. - Driving & Companionship – Taking...

We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. Alcohol is available at cost. If we click, long-term stays (until late May 2026) are preferred, just like several of our previous helpers who stayed with us for more than five months! Animal Rescue and Sanctuary and Organic Vegan Farm in Central Costa Rica Hello everyone! What we do: We take care of animals, we grow organic food, we prepare and eat tasty vegan meals, we minimize our impact on the earth, and we enjoy the company of our Costa Rican friends and neighbors. We have run a volunteer program for over 18 years, and have had several hundred people come to work with us! Our farm is primarily an animal rescue, rehab and sanctuary. Our doors are open to animals in need. We currently have five rescue dogs, six goats, a pig, a horse, two cats, and two water buffalos. Some came off the streets, some were abandoned, others were injured and no longer wanted. We adopt out what we can, but most are retired and happy to live their lives on the farm. The 3.5 hectare property is covered with many tropical fruit trees, including water apple, mandarin orange, banana (many varieties), guayaba, guanabana, cas, caimito, lime, nance, coffee and araza. Depending on the se...

We are a family of 4 who loves food 😁 I am a solo mum and currently quite rundown and needing to rebuild health, as well as re-prioritizing life.. At the moment it would be really good to have someone on board who is capable, clean and self-sufficient in the kitchen, so I can focus on weaning my toddler and doing a complete detox (I have heard that this can land you in bed sick..). I need 1 or 2 helpers to help with these jobs: - Cooking meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and tidying up the kitchen. Bonus if you want to bake, as well 😋 Please note: the kitchen needs to be kept tidy, so will suit someone who is a very clean/tidy person! This would work well for someone who is flying out of Chch and needs to sell their car before leaving. You will have time in-between meals to sort your necessities before leaving. - Gardening I would like to setup a big fruit & vege garden :) With spring here, this is a good opportunity to enjoy the sunshine. - Cleaning the house This would suit...

[Update posted 08/01/25] The Crossing announces a change, a seed planted four years ago. For the past four years, the land belongs, as is fair and good, to a Tribal University and Land Grant University located on the Rosebud Reservation, home of the Sicangu Oyate, in South Dakota. Our donation of the property was formally accepted by Sinte Gleska University during September of 2020. Since then, the seed has sprouted and pushed roots of beginnings down into the soil and the sprout and it's cotyledons have come out into the sun. Last August, with an amazing gathering here of a group of people from The University, inipis (sweat lodge, in Lakota) were poured and prayers sent up to Creator, and the transition from private ownership to the establishment of Sinte Gleska University's welcomed and growing presence is forever engaged – the first true leaf has opened to the sunlight. Helen and I will share more about the future of The Crossing and the direction by Sinte Gleska University when ...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots of tracks to walk and a creek to swim in, There is a hammock i...

We are a nonprofit horse rehabilitation center that offers rescue, education on equine care. We need hands on to help with projects we are working on to complete as well as facility maintenance. Would love to have some energetic people that want to make a difference in horses lives here. It’s about helping these animals go from neglect to finding a forever home or live their lives in Sanctuary. You don't have to have experience we can teach you. If working hands on with horses is not your thing and you admire them there's lots of things you can still do to help them prepare for homes or help at the facility. What we are not: We are not a riding stables. We give lessons when able after all chores completed and trainer is here on certain days and during certain times of the year. So if your intention is to spend lots of time "in the saddle" we don't do that here. We aren't a "working ranch" for people to ride horses all day and move cattle, ride trails, etc. We are not a fancy stab...

We could do with a bit of help for a week working on a landscape/biodiversity project that we are currently doing. Preferably someone relatively fit and strong and used to outdoor work. We have a beautiful rural coastal property between Whakatane and Opotiki in the Bay of Plenty. We overlook the Waiotahe estuary and are a few minutes walk from Bryans Beach and Ohiwa Harbour - great kayaking, swimming, walking and fishing. We would like some help particularly on outside tasks such as cutting firewood, planting trees, digging and weedeating (strimming), as well as generally helping in the garden and around the house. To get to us if you don’t have a car, there are buses to both Opotiki and Whakatane and we can pick you up and drop you off there.

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. “Life is better with a Buffalo” is our farm goal and “Happiness only real when shared “ is our motto.

My property is 10 hectares on the West Coast of the South Island, which starts at the coast with sand beach and sunsets and heads inland 1km through native wetlands and forest. Approximately 20km from Westport, 1km from Tauranga Bay! Public transport is limited? I'm a Certified Plumber and Drainlayer by trade but recently retired to work on property (next stage of life!) I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing over the years!

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay.
