Our farm is in a remote and magical scenic area of the outer Marlborough Sounds. We have a number of cattle and their calves, hens, our dog Trixie, our cat Elmo, 2 friendly pet sheep, Ivan and Mavis. There are always interesting things that need attending to on the farm and in our vegetable garden. We have many areas of garden and regenerating native bush. Plenty of variety on the projects. We have good beaches and nice walks. Your own transport is the easiest or there is a passenger service from Rai Valley Village. Check out our website if you need public transport and you can message us anytime. GENERAL INFORMATION We grow most of our own vegetables. We make compost and use animal manures as fertilisers. With winter we action a great progressive project to plant and regenerate areas with hundreds of native trees. Creating windbreaks, animal shelter, and native bird habitat. Come and join in on a creative and rewarding project. We generally work 4-5 hours a day. We have clean and ...

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live 20 minutes from Bilbao in a lovely town called Zalla. There is a good bus/train service to Bilbao. Volunteers also can visit, Santander, San Sebastian, Burgos, Pamplona either of these ci...

Hei, here is Monica and Mario During the pandemic our life changed radically and we are now living in the beautiful island of Skrova, most known as Lofoten's Little Hawaii!! Monica is from Portugal, 35 years old and Mario from USA (half Norwegian/Sicilian....) 34 years old. The atmosphere on the island is very relaxed and friendly! It's a small island and since we are the only cafe/restaurant, give us the oportunity to have a very strong conection with the local comunity. Volunteers that stay with us have the oportunity to meet and get close to locals and local life. We we like to go for walks, kayaking, paddle boarding, spend time in nature, eat some nice food (Mario is a great cook) and have some chats with a glass of red wine (preference under the shy Norwegian Sun ;) oh and we loooove to use the sauna!!! ;) We have various projects going on: - A little guesthouse with 15 rooms - a local cafe/restaurant, set in a beautiful 200 years old building - Our house: small tasks around ...

Looking for helpers starting spring 2026. In the spring and summer months, we will need help planting, watering and weeding the garden. Other projects may include fixing up an old barn, introducing livestock, painting, weeding flower beds, building a treehouse, and building garden gates. Our home is on a quiet and peaceful country road with views of farms and fields and we have recently added a kitchen garden. The garden overlooks the river, which is great for catching small mouth bass and also attracts deer, bald eagles and other wildlife. Helpers will stay in their own private camper complete with toilet and shower, queen sized bed, tv, full kitchen, and dining table. We will share one meal together every day, usually lunch or dinner, and during the summer months you will have access to as many garden vegetables as you want. 15 minutes west is Bowling Green, a college town with excellent bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. 10 minutes east is Pemberville, a charming small town w...

Hi there :) we are looking for someone to give us a hand over the last week of school holidays from somewhere around the 23rd of January till about the 1st of February. We both are going to be back at work but work opposite rosters so we need a hand with looking after Rosalie and Mateo (both 9). If you are interested please reach out. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Here a little more about us: We are vegetarian but pretty open to all kind of different dishes. You should be good with kids but no need for any experience as long as you are open and happy to read some books or craft some cool things. Rosalie and Mateo are pretty open to people and love to listen to stories and music, they love chatting and showing you around our area. We love it if our helpers help a little around the house. For example, helping to put the dishes away after we had a meal, clean up the kitchen with us and vacuum every now and then. If you like cooking you are very welcome to prepare dinn...

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. Alcohol is available at cost. If we click, long-term stays (until late May 2026) are preferred, just like several of our previous helpers who stayed with us for more than five months! The vacancy is available now. Our 12-hectare lifestyle block is located 20 minutes/km south of Whangarei (15 minutes by car to Bream Bay sandy beaches). It's an oasis of 50% native bush, rest paddocks and subtropical orchards: 60% bananas and a canopy of schizolobium, cherimoyas, papayas, mango, feijoa, and temperate fruits. Not to forget the SACRED GROVE where many events like parties, weddings (Ceremony and Reception) took place. If you're arriving by public transport, we can arrange a pickup in Whangarei. Winter January 2026 Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this winter with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos are of my house ...

We have availability to help Marcus with his native tree propagation work onsite for one week stays. Looking for those who appreciate 4hrs of daily work alongside us as a fair exchange for wholesome meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner provided + seasonal fruit), your own private space, satellite Wi-fi and access to beautiful, private, natural surroundings with lots of native wildlife like wallabies and pademelons. In your free time, volunteers can go swimming, enjoy many of the hikes on and around our property (plus we adjoin 8,000ha/20,000ac of National Park) and meet/spend time with our animals, read , meditate, do yoga/fitness, satellite wifi, watch movies, bird watching, platypus watching...etc. We have a lot of info on our page, mainly so we get the right people applying to volunteer here. The work is usually physical (ie no cute animal feeding - that`s in your free time if you express an interest to Claire), but we offer a very fair exchange for those motivated to contribute ...

Hi, we occasionally host Helpex travellers throughout the year, depending upon what we are doing. We are a family of four (however our 2 adult children are now living elsewhere), and two cats, and sometimes a hive of bees. Our house is on 5500 square metres (1.3 acres) of land with half of that in bush, on the North Shore in Greenhithe overlooking, Whenuapai, Kumeu and the upper Waitamata Harbour. The main Greenhithe bus stop is about ten minutes walk away. By car, driving to the centre of Auckland takes about 15-20 minutes. We have free Wi-Fi. The local supermarket is 2km away. Unfortunately the pool is not working at the moment as there was leak in the skimmer box which has now been fixed but we will not be filling it until the new year after a small amount of plastering. We provide accommodation and three meals a day. We request in return four hours work. The work will involve, gardening, maintenance and sometimes a bit of building work. Regards Ken and Suzanne

Update; we have a vacancy for 1 to 3 people in early February. Our home is a large old weatherboard house in beautiful Sherbrooke, in the Mount Dandenong Ranges. This dear old place may one-day soon again become guest-house, like it was 100 years ago. Meantime both house and garden need plenty of tender loving care. The hills are a popular destination, with native forests for walking, public gardens, villages, cafes, good coffee, and galleries. See: http://www.villagesofmtdandenong.com.au/ for a look at the attractions. Sherbrooke itself is made up of a state forest and a mountain village. It is recognised internationally as the home of the Lyrebird, and many native birds visit us daily. Sherbrooke is one hour drive east of Melbourne city, or 1 hour on the train from Melbourne to nearby Belgrave. As a busy professional household, in recent years we have been grateful for helpers' assistance with yard-work, household chores, firewood management, garden gazebo construction and pai...

=============== Update . Jan 17. We are likely full until April =============== Spaces that may be available are: a small loft room that is accessible by a short ladder, or a loft bed above our yoga room. And sometimes other bedrooms when people go away. Top skills we are looking for right now: - Cooking/cleaning - indoor plants and sprouts. - Help with renovation projects (finishing a basement bathroom.) Note: We don't always book people many months in advance, we prefer to wait until closer to the start dates so we can see how much space we have. Some people here stay longer than they initially planned so we don't always know the timing of openings long in advance. Accommodation is in the “blueberry cottage,' a self-contained flat that is across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi. I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard goodies you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make a big lunch at the house for everyone (lots of home made bread and cakes) and the afternoons/evenings are your own. I'll keep the larder stocked with whatever food you like, we don't eat much meat but can supply it. We have bikes for your use and are surrounded by wineries, or there's always a shady tree to nap under. Warning we do have insects, and in the summer picking time can't take helpers who are colourblind. For ease of booking we'd prefer if you can plan on coming and going on Mondays, one week minimum stay. We are a ten minute walk from the bus stop. Most work here is of the off-season Autumn/Winter kind. And over the summer our variable schedules mean it is often not feasable to plan hosting helpx people. CURRENT JOBS are all outdoors - Collect fallen and pruned branches from garden Use chop saw to cut up firewood. Use mulcher to break up smaller branches Move stones on seashore to remake little landing stage for small boat Cut back emerging briars I have spent over 20 years turning my 1.3 coastal and exposed acres into woodland and varied habitats. I now need some Autumn/Winter/Spring help with pruning, and then dealing with the cutting up and moving of larger pieces and mulching smaller pieces in mulching machine, as well as cutting back briars, I would be mostly working alongside and giving direction. There may be some harvesting of fruits, nuts and acorns. There is a small vegetable plot that may need some care. There may be firewood for cutting and stacking. There is also the possibility of minding, feeding and walking ...

We are a dad & sometimes daughter (17! ;), living on a 60 acre mountain top with distant 360 degree views of both the Green & White Mountains. From sunrise to sunset we are having fun and loving the land, with tons of hiking/biking trails, and a nearby connection to a 25 mile network. There's generally a refreshing breeze here, but when it gets too warm we head down to our stream & spring fed pond, which is a piece of heaven -- deep and cool. Our whole mountain is magical, with strong meridians, and located in a very artsy & progressive part of southern Vermont. And yes, there's a lot involved in being good stewards, even though we are not a commercial farm, so we have many diverse projects, and you might assist in managing our generous garden, making meals, clearing land, nurturing the flower beds, painting, bucking up or stacking firewood, routine cleaning & maintenance, doing arts & music with Luna, or building a steam hut or other structures, for several hours most days. If you ha...

NB - just in case you don't get to the end of the profile - we are vegetarian (mostly) - and we don't take picky eaters. - or smokers. We are terracing a steep section (with an amazing view), developing a fernery and planting out an orchard and native hedges. There are fantails and keruru in abundance. Though the development is sometimes hard work, it`s creative and fun. We are getting there but we could do with a bit of help from strong fit people whose knees can handle walking up and down a steep garden - usually with a load on.. We also have work repairing and painting garden furniture. We prefer hosting a couple or 2 friends who are keen gardeners - or have carpentry or brick laying skills - to help with garden maintenance. We also have a couple of hard-landscaping projects involving path construction and maintenance. Ideally, we would like people who are able to work with minimal supervision, who take pride in their work and want to do a job well, who are self-motivated, have ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

Join Our Home in Walnut Creek: A Unique Opportunity for Connection and Support Hello! My name is Bruce, and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to assist me with everyday life while also forming a meaningful connection. WE AEE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM AUGUST 2026 TO END OF OCTOBER 2026. We are a family of four and have small farm at the coast of the Baltic sea close to Oskarshamn. The farmhouse is more than a hundred years old and is located just a few meters away from a lake, which we can use exclusively for fishing, swimming and anything else. A good work-life-balance is very important for us, and this is also what we have in mind for our helpers. It's not only working here, we also want to show our helpers the laid back Swedish lifestyle here at the Eastern coast. Both sides should feel that they did benefit from your stay at our place. Hein: I was born in the north of Germany, and my profession as a carpenter has a very important role in the realization of our dream life. I’ve always felt at home out in nature, fishing, sailing or mushroom picking,. I like to work in the garden and cultivate home-grown fruits and vegetables. We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown garden. In addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Maryborough is only 30 minutes away from Hervey Bay with beautiful beaches overlooking Frazer Island. Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

I live in a large house in Veyrin, a very very small village, in a very nice countryside in France, 90km East of Lyon, not fare from the Alps. Genève (Switzerland) is 1h30 driving. I'm looking for non-smokers helpers, who could help me 4h/day in my organic vegetable garden or helping me to welcome holidaymakers and pilgrims in my gite. You will have your own bedroom. The common kitchen is to be shared with everybody. The food is vegetarian. I can speak English. If you are sportive we can lend you a bicycle to visit around. The first town is 12km from Veyrin. I have a cat. I don't accept others pets. Please contact me if you want more details. You can also have a look on my website via link below. Looking forward meeting you.
