We are located in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe's most exciting and diverse cities. With its vibrant cultural scene, world-class museums, historic landmarks, countless cafés, parks, and excellent public transport, Berlin is the perfect place to experience urban life while enjoying a welcoming home environment. I would kindly ask you to help with painting, fencing, gardening, sweeping leaves, cleaning and maintaining the house, as well as feeding and caring for the animals. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time. You will have your own private room, and I will provide breakfast and one warm meal each day. If you enjoy cooking in a holistic and nutritious way, you are more than welcome to do so. I am always happy to share my knowledge about healthy food and learn from others as well. This is a community-based, non-profit project in Northern Vietnam that brings people together through cultural exchange, education, and local experiences. We welcome volunteers from around the world to live alongside local families, share their culture, and experience the everyday life of Vietnam's ethnic minority communities. Volunteers help teach English to children and local tourism workers while learning about local traditions, customs, and ways of life. Beyond the classroom, you'll share meals with local people, explore nearby villages, and build meaningful connections through daily life and cultural exchange. Whether you're an experienced teacher or simply passionate about meeting new people and making a positive impact. We offer an authentic opportunity to learn, contribute, and experience the beauty of Northern Vietnam as part of the local community. We currently offer different volunteering arrangements depending on the season, accommodation availability, and the type of ex...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

LOOKING F OR A COUPLE FOR APPROX 1 WEEK IN AUGUST. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is help with this work I require.. Therefore most of the work is outdoor, constantly varied, not difficult, with some indoors work on oc...

We have some space starting July 25,2026 If you like mountains, wildlife and exercise and you are interested in a true country experience this is the place to be. We would welcome any help and would love people to share their organic knowledge with us. No experience is necessary just enthusiasm and a love of the outdoors. Throughout the year we have a wide variety of tasks to do. In April our few cows are calving and we often complete some small building projects and fix fences on the pastures In May we may be doing field work the fields and we also plant the vegetable garden in May and June. In July we are haying, building and fixing fences, gardening, hand pulling invasive weed species, harvesting garlic. There are tasks for all skill levels and strengths so don't be afraid to join us. Remember that being a farmer is about growing food, thus growing food for the cattle and for ourselves is our main occupation. July and the beginning of August are the busiest time of year fo...

We've lived overseas for many years, including time in South America, Asia and the Middle East, and returned 15 years ago to start our 'off grid adventure'. Having 'internationalized' it's been time to put some roots down (literally) in a sustainable, creative and co-evolutionary way. These days we're a family of four (kids aged 13 and 10) with 3 dogs/chickens/guinea pigs. We speak some Spanish and a little Japanese and would receive foreigners eagerly (also fellow NZers of course). We're one hour's drive from the nearest towns (Kaitaia and Kerikeri) although a small organic co-op is twenty-five minutes away. Neighbours include a Bee-Keeper and his family, artists, potters and homesteaders, some of whom are open to receiving helpers who may wish to spend more time in the area. People wishing to learn about setting up off-grid so that they can do so themselves would be able to pick up valuable skills at our place. Helpers stay in either a fifteen by eight foot caravan with solar power...

I live alone in a comfortable 2 bedroom house on a big section, 10 minutes drive to the city, perhaps 20 minutes by bus. I don't have any organic credentials though I do grow some veges... But it would be great to have some (solo preferred) company, a visitor from around the world, maybe 3-7 days, while you get to explore Auckland before heading off to the beautiful parts of NZ. My spare room is minimally furnished, with an airbed at the moment which people tell me is very comfortable. Just bought a new fold up bed as an alternative. I hope you can cook ... I can lol. Actually I rent this home, so there is no major work to be done, but there is always something, mostly just the housework, and keeping things tidy in the garden. I am a mature guy, classical musician by trade, and I'd enjoy the variety of different visitors from around the world. Ich kann ein Bisschen Deutsch, fast. Around here there is wonderful walking by the sea. though no swimming, it is tidal flats. I can drive...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. We have a comfortable house where we have welcomed a few wonderful HelpX travelers in the past. We are a friendly, organic, international family with a 8 year old Cavoodle named Nutmeg. He's a sweetie! We speak English and Malay, enjoy traveling, play lots of board games, and love the beautiful outdoors in the Bay of Plenty. We are actively looking for 1-2 people to help out with spring cleaning both in the house and in the yard outside. We are getting ready to put our house on the market, so we need to declutter, sell things on Facebook Marketplace, and clean our yard outside. Our yard is very small because we live in a suburban setting in a very small section. So we would basically be trimming fruit trees, pulling weeds, spreading mulch and planting some vegetables and pretty flowers. Our house is five bedrooms and a new build, so the house is in very good condition. We just need to deep clean it and prepare it for showing. We will also need to wash our motorhome and prepare that f...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes, mountains and unspoilt, deserted beaches (though beaches are not within walking distance). I live here with 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. I am surrounded by millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve and there is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a caravan with a very comfortable double bed, fridge, stove etc. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. I need help tidying up my property for the Bushfire season, weeding my garden,...

Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. We live on an alternative lifestyle block with "off grid", barn living. We have horses, dogs, chickens, regeneratively graze cattle, and have a small banana farm using composted food waste from local restaurants. We have a big barn space which can accommodate a lot of people comfortably. One young kiwi staying there full time. Where possible we grow and eat our own fruit and veges from our vege garden and from our small grove of fruit trees. We also have 15 acres of regenerated native bush on our property which needs tending to. Our water is supplied from rain water and a natural spring, and the property runs on solar. Your work could be in the bananas, with the animals, in the bush, in the vege garden/orchard, with the compost, etc. — it all depends what needs doing and what you are interested in. Our property is close to beaches and 35 minute drive to Auckland central. We have had some cool HelpX people over the last few years and have really enjoyed their company. Couples are w...

Hello, we are Cat and Silvan, who is 6 years old. We live on an organic permaculture farm in the Pyrenees in the south of France. The property is situated in a small hamlet of 8 houses bordering a wild forest including chestnut, ash, oak, acacia and cherry. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables and collect hazelnuts, walnuts, mushrooms and wild herbs from the forest. I cut my own wood and much of the wood used in the construction has been harvested from the land. We have 5 goats and friends graze their horses during the summer months. I enjoy eating fresh food from the garden and like to be creative with dishes with what can be sourced locally rather than necessarily going to a big supermarket. We buy locally and organic where possible to supplement what we have in the garden. When there are more of us here we often do a rotation of cooking, which is great as we get to taste each others variations and be inspired. If you are not confident in cooking don't worry, it is a gre...

The Ilam district is famous for its tea farms. We have our own organic farm, with fruit & herbal plants and a nursery consisting mainly of kiwi plants. We have also two cows.

Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all, outside as well). Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. I would like help with the garden and other general duties around the house, such as cleaning. If you are travelling this way, either going to Melbourne or locally and can hel...

Hi everybody! we are a married couple (Daniele originally from Italy and Pahge from Australia). We have a daughter, Eloise, who is 5yo. We are looking for helpers (1 or 2 persons maximum) to help with some painting, gardening, general house maintenance and daily works around the house. Daniele works part time as a structural engineer, Pahge works part time as a doctor. We ask for approximately 20 hours of work per week in exchange for food and accommodation. The house is located in Whitfield, a nice suburb close to the centre of Cairns and to the beautiful botanical gardens and the trendy cafes in Edge Hill. Guests will have their own room with wi-fi and food will be provided. We will also provide a bike as Cairns is the perfect place for cycling. We also have a beautiful swimming pool overlooking a mini rain forest. We hope to hear from you soon!!
