LOOKING FOR HELP FROM 15 APRIL FOR APPROX 1 WEEK. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine record eve...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

I am seeking mature travellers who are travelling around the South West in their own Camper Van or Car with tent etc. Traveller/helpers need to be self contained but I provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. I have some really nice set up camp sites here - the sites are private, clean, safe and located in beautiful natural bushland settings. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like possible work services, free food services and access to various beaches etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build their own sustainable homes and grow their own food...., using what is around them, to adapt to their environment and adopt permaculture principals to suit their own needs. I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local gra...

It looks like we are full until at least June but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking workshop an...

Our farm is in a remote and magical scenic area of the outer Marlborough Sounds. We have a number of cattle and their calves, hens, our dog Trixie, our cat Elmo, 2 friendly pet sheep, Ivan and Mavis. There are always interesting things that need attending to on the farm and in our vegetable garden. We have many areas of garden and regenerating native bush. Plenty of variety on the projects. We have good beaches and nice walks. Your own transport is the easiest or there is a passenger service from Rai Valley Village. Permaculture project with idea and space to create an eco-village. The quinta is located in Alto Alentejo 2km from Portalegre. 15 hectares with magical forests and a beautiful valley provided by seventeen sources and several mines with healthy water where too people live permanently for the moment,Isabel, a communication manager and Michel, a carpenter who is the founder of the project. There is also one dog, five cats, for chickens and six sheep. The project is now in the phase when it’s open so that more people can live here. Because parts of the ruins are ready for occupancy, there is space for people who want to stay longer, which can bring new and stronger dynamics throughout the year, not like before, when there was only a lot going on in the summer months. So far there is already a beautiful gardens going on and numerous species of plants, shrubs and trees which deliver us plenty of food. Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

Right now 10th April we have space until the 22nd of April. So if you are looking for somewhere from today or tomorrow send us a message. The work will be cleaning and tidying. We are also looking for helpers from the start of May. We have three small cabins, two with double beds and one with a single bed so room for up to five helpers normally but only four at the moment (two double beds).. All the helpers share a kitchen and bathroom. From the start of May we need help with some building work so preference will be given to people who already have some skills with tools.. We are a great place to start or end your time in New Zealand as we are only 45 minutes drive from Auckland airport. The work will be varied and interesting but usually building and garden based. It could include finishing off an underground earth bag hobbit hole. We have a passion for earth building and organic gardening. Its good if you are over the age of 20, are self motivated and can work unsupervised. We are...

We are Anna and Matt, 2 dogs, 50 arapawa sheep, 5 chickens so far. We have a warm comfortable farmhouse available for the right group. We are looking for people willing to work on messy outside jobs (moving soil, chipping and mulching fruit trees, weeding berry patches and processing firewood-from using a chainsaw to collecting pinecones-a variety of jobs that can be tailored to your skill level. We use biodynamic and organic practices, no till if at all possible and are in the very early stages of development on an old government deer block. Our main aim for people here is to help with being in service of thriving life. We have fruit and nut trees that need mulch and clearing of grass. Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started. Bretagne is a nice place full of culture, traditions, nice villages, forest and legends and history, and surrounded by the sea. After being helpers ourselves, we now want to be hosts too. We loved it so we expect people love it here too. Our kids are homeschooling with mainly their mother and we would be happy to have Eng...

For an experience in a farm with horses and dogs, if you love nature and are not afraid of hard work! Here you’ll find silence and peace, and also many splendid places to visit. [UPDATE: We don’t have availability for a position in horse care only. But we have availability for a strong person, hard worker, to help outside with the bush clearing, using the brushcutter, driving the tractor to grind the fields, apart from helping a bit with the animals and the handling of horses. Note that we are very busy during the week, and we can't go and check our emails every day. You might have to wait a bit for an answer. Sorry for this.] We live in a sparsely populated area called Berry located in the center of France between Orléans (60km) and Bourges (50km). The closest city is Gien, 27km away. Just west is the county called Sologne, where nature is all around, though we are at only 2 hours from Paris. East is the Sancerre valley. We are looking for handy volunteers or good riders. Check...

We are ceramic artists who live on our 1 hectare property about 20km inland from the beautiful Doubtless Bay area. We run our pottery business from home and look after our organic gardens, small orchard and numerous chickens. We have traveled widely ourselves and hosted travelers for over 10 years with another organisation, so are interested in HelpX for both the cultural exchanges and to be able to share our lifestyle with others while getting some help around the property. We are looking for enthusiastic helpers for help with things around the property such as gardening, wood collecting, cleaning, painting, general maintenance and other tasks depending on the season. In exchange for 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week we will provide you with all meals, but ask that you join in with the preparation, and accommodation in the funky little cabin with it's own veranda.  We will be happy to include you in our lifestyle, maybe you'll be there to go Friday night fishing on our yac...

We are an italian couple (40-50 yo) with children (age 9-12), we are both musicians, living and running also our little familiar B&B in Mantova (Italy): it's a very interesting town, with many cultural places to visit, renaissance and middle age buildings, natural parks and cycling-paths to go around. We need to do some works in our house and garden (gardening, cleaning, painting etc.) and we're looking for someone who can do these works without our help. We can offer free accomodation (a private room for 1 or 2 people, shared bathroom, shared kitchen, no air conditioning but a fan in your room; we can't provide food but there are many supermarkets and shops close to our house, you can easily walk there). Feel free to contact us for any other question. Thanks in advance!

Welcome! Our family owned and operated certified organic livestock farm in North Central British Columbia is excited to have you stay and become a part of everything we have going on. We’ve been operating since 2008, primarily raising Berkshire pigs, Dexter cattle, Katahdin sheep, laying hens, broiler chickens and of course bronze breasted turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas. On top of that, we’re home to two Labrador retrievers (Ned and Nelly), 3 outdoor cats, 2 guard alpacas and a family of Muscovy ducks. In other words, you will never find yourself not in the company of animals! Aside from livestock, we have recently built a small farm store / café that cooks the meat raised on the farm. We also take pride in creating all recipes from scratch, from the sauces to the buns of the burgers. Currently only operating during the summer months, 3 days per week. It’s been a lot of work, but a great way to get more people out to the farm, eating good food and connecting with the community...

I’m a mid 50's guy living with my partner in a large modern home with extensive gardens. I’m looking to host travelers who want an authentic New Zealand farm experience. You will assist me to keep the grounds tidy and other seasonal jobs to do involving the animals on the farm. Jobs may include; lawn mowing, tidying sheds, gardening, feeding animals. I offer quality accommodation (own room & ensuite) and meals. You don’t need to have previous farm experience but please be fit and eager to learn. If you can cook meals then even better! Happy to host single, two friends, couple of any age for up to a week. LGBTIQ+ travellers welcome. Approx 20 km to Invercargill, Riverton and Winton, (2 hours drive from Queenstown). It’s a rural address so your own transport would be an advantage.

Accommodation - Private room with Bathroom - Affordable meals available nearby.

We are happy when someone shows enthusiasm for the garden because this is a central part...

We are...

Hi, my husband and I live in a beautiful area on a lifestyle farm with our four young kids. We are working on setting up a sustainable lifestyle and there's always something to do! We have beef cows, a milk cow, sheep, goats, chickens, a couple dogs and a producing greenhouse. Would love some help with homesteading, ongoing projects, property maintenance, gardening, and help around the house. If you like your exercise there's a walking track to the top of our property with stunning views at the top. Swimming hole at a beautiful river 5 minutes down the road. Accommodation provided in our family home. You will have your own upstairs sleeping area and a separate toilet. Three healthy meals provided for 4 hours work. We look forward to meeting you!

I have a working beef, sheep & hobby farm located about 20mins drive from Invercargill. There are dairy cows, beef cattle, pigs, sheep, donkey, deer & a variety of birds.

Kia Ora travellers, we are keen to welcome you to our place. If you have only just arrived and are trying to find your way around then we'd be happy to help you or Ii you are just looking for a little taste of normal Kiwi rural life we would love to host you. We are looking for helpers at the moment. Generally we offer about a week's work but if interested there might be a possibility of a longer stay with some housesitting involved. Meg and I are a young couple (in our sixties), our three daughters have now all left home and are living their own independent lives. We love to have young people around. We will make sure to spend some time with you as we enjoy helping with English, while still leaving you plenty of time to yourselves. Our home is on a lovely quiet rural property with a stunning view of Ohiwa Estuary, less than 10mins from Ohope (in the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty) and Whakatane (famous for trips to White Island although due to tragic events these trips are not...

I have an opening for a volunteer person to help me with everyday life of looking after animals and some gardening, weeding & basic maintenance of the farm and some house duties in COLLINSVILLE north Qld. I can only accommodate one person. This is a great opportunity to get away from the city life and enjoy some country living. I have cats horses and chooks. There will be horse riding/training that you can help me with , I do western ranch & trail training, so I prefer someone that has riding experience 😀🐎 Meals and accommodation wifi are supplied. Accommodation is a little caravan close by the house, which has a mini art gallery. ( if you like painting or doing craft we can do some painting ) Prefer 1 month stay, but shorter stays like 2 weeks are ok too. We live in a slightly isolated quiet area being 80km from the nearest big town & the coast( and the beautiful beaches of Bowen in the Whitsundays !😊) but do live in a small town where we have 2 supermarkets, post office , ha...

Time to get out of the weather and your van and into a real home? Join us in paradise, for a week of recovery and indulgence? Happy people, 2 friends or a couple are all welcome! We’d love to meet you anytime, from April 20th on. These beautiful, green (4 hectares) are VERY close to New Plymouth City and Mt Taranaki, yet they have that peaceful feeling of being far out in the country. Egmont National Park is at the end of our street, so you could do a day hike to the gorgeous Tarn Lakes or stay overnight at the new Pouakai “Hut”. Maori culture, galleries, restaurants and funky little, hip cafés abound. Famous surf breaks invite you to hire a board and “catch some waves”. There are many famous places near us like the beautiful Pukekura Park, (home of the WOMAD Music Festival), the Instagram spot on Te Rewa Rewa Bridge where you can walk/cycle into the city along the Coastal Walkway. Our ”farm” is so peaceful that you will enjoy the best sleep ever! Share the comfort and join us in pl...
