One of my cats passed away on the 21st April, 2026. He was 14 years old. I left my home country because without helpers I couldn't manage that big farm of 1.5 Ha. We are beekeepers in a small village near Bayonne, in the south west of France. We live in an old typical farm of the area with animals (one dog, two cats, chickens and millions of bees). Looking for anyone interested in helping on our 60ha/150 acre Certified Organic family farm. Accommodation is in an adjacent self-contained cottage so we can cater for small groups or couples. We are located 100 kms west of Cairns with buses from Cairns to Mareeba daily. On our farm we grow tea tree, limes, various vegetable crops and cattle. Work mainly includes, fruit picking (photo), packing (photo), mulching, weeding, gardening, propagating, livestock, fencing & irrigation repairs. . Fishing and boating days when we can get away. Visits to the Daintree and Reef (see photo) Our farm also offers plenty of space to relax exercise, walk, swim or fish in our very own large dam. I am a wheelchair user traveling with my friendly dog and three cats. I need assistance with loading and unloading my wheelchair, walking the dog, helping with the pets, and general travel support. No personal care is required. Traveling with three cats and a dog can make overnight accommodations challenging. Many places either do not accept multiple pets or charge substantial pet fees. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for mature single people are open now. Opportunities for vineyard and maintenance work are available. Couples with Visitor Visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience domestic, distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it is not raining or too hot. ...
