I am a creative person living in Mumbai (Bombay) , India, I grew up in rural and urban natural lives. Making me experience working on farms, cities and learn some things on different levels of cultures, society differences, Indian deeper roots, religious, spiritual and positivity through life. So looking at life in its best or worst way, with in its various colourful shades. For References - ask for my other volunteer site profile. My passion is film making but still I am trying to develop my spiritual understanding. Sametime in support of growing world awareness of organic life or climate changes comes as a beginning of a new era. And proud to be part of it as its time to deconstruct what we constructed just in few decades. Mumbai city is the only city in the world where the Country lives in a city i.e you will find everyone from the different parts of India living in the city of Mumbai. The city also supports some ancient spiritual caves and temples. It is active in movies, art g...

Hi travellers, welcome to NZ! I found out about helpx from travellers overseas and thought I would try it. We live on a sheep and beef farm 35 minutes east of Masterton, 15 minutes from Riversdale beach and 25 minutes from Castlepoint beach. I live with my partner Mel and daughters Kenzie (4yrs ) and Emmie (2yrs). We are looking for 1 people to help watch our daughters :) You will have your own room, food supplied, Internet and washing machine. We can pick you up from Masterton. I have travelled a lot and enjoy meeting new people. I think a travelling experience is most enjoyable when a local shows you the local sites, cultures and attractions. I have had many friends, who I have met overseas, visit me and I enjoy being host and enhancing their NZ experience. And when I visit them they do the same for me. Alex, Mel, Kenzie & Emmie

My husband and I moved to this 240 acre farm in the South Burnett Region of South East Qld 2 years ago and have recently moved into a purpose built cottage (to reduce our footprint) relying on rainwater for the house and bore water for the gardens and to reduce our footprint further we have installed a composting toilet. 40 fruit trees have been planted and raised garden beds made which is the start of our edible oasis. Next on the jobs list is creating wicking beds from IBC totes and fencing the house yard for our two Jack Russell dogs. We have an old thunder box we would like to restore to make into an outdoor composting toilet (let us know if you’re handy on the tools). There’s plenty to do and learn around the farm depending on your ability and interests. Enthusiasm is a must. There’s gardening and learning about soil health, learning how to erect barbed wire and electric fencing, animal husbandry, building, cleaning and general maintenance. There’s always something different g...

Using a drill, hammer, sander, etc. I live in Woolloongabba in Brisbane. I have a lovely Queenslander house, which I have been sharing with backpackers since 2024. I have done lots of cycle touring through the UK and some through Europe. I have also enjoyed remote bushwalking in Australia with people who can navigate, as I can't! I am also looking at getting back into my dancing again. Work required, I am slowly working on renovating my house and garden. Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start in Mid-May 2026. We are looking for volunteers to teach English only and are available to stay at least eight weeks. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us. PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time. Not the place just to get a free room.for a while, but also not the place if you get bored easily You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Rang...

Hosting educating helpers from start April until end of October every year. I am a male from United Kingdom now living in France, and I have an interesting informative project in progress! Having lived off-grid in various locations over the past 20 years, I am based in the heart of the Languedoc Roussilon region (The worlds largest wine area). I currently have the basics set up in my re-purposed barn, including solar paneled electricity, fridge, charging for phones, laptops during day. Composting toilet, separate ladies no 1s toilet. Simple showers, we fill with buckets water from river. That warms quickly in the Mediterranean sun or you can heat hot water over our cooking fire. We also use a gas hob for cooking and hot drinks only. We get a good 4 and 5 g signal here. I would particularly like help with basic supervised DiY, weed clearing, re-roofing, and renovation of the barn, along with tree and vegetable planting and care. I expect 20 hours work per week in return for food, wine ...

Kia Ora travellers! I live with my dog, Nala, in a beautiful big and warm house on a 27 acre life style block with native bush and a little creek. I have an organic vegetable garden and orchard growing fresh vegetables, hazelnuts, walnuts and chestnuts. You can also enjoy great views of the Banks Peninsula from here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s only 1 hour away from Christchurch city and 30 mins from Akaroa, a lovely seaside town with a rich French heritage. I used to be a Tour Guide for overseas tourists, so I know every nook and cranny of the Great Aotearoa. I would be happy to share with you our culture, history and many stories. I also used to host overseas backpackers when living in Christchurch and I always enjoy having company and learning about cultural differences. There is plenty to do to keep busy and be creative - planting trees, pruning, cleaning up bonfires, getting stuck into the big garden. Work hours are flexible and will be max 4 hours (mos...

One thing I can advise helpers who want to get a placement with any host is to have at least one PICTURE of YOURSELF. Just as you like to "see" who and where you are coming, hosts like to see who they are opening their home to. It's winter now, so we won't be working outside. I need someone right away to help with small handyman jobs or selling online eg: eBay, marketplace etc. Knowledge of Carpentry and Plumbing are always appreciated. Car mechanics are always helpful. I would really appreciate someone who can do handyman jobs and wants to come for a week or two. I sell things online and on eBay and would love someone who is good at writing descriptions in English. I have a large house and property in a diverse area of Staten Island, New York that I`m always working on. I plant a vegetable garden in the spring using the square foot gardening method. A friend and I rebuilt the whole house on the inside including jacking it up and replacing the foundation, sills and beams so ther...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

I am looking for two or three helpers for 7-10 days from 29 March. Warm greetings from rural Byron Shire. I have hosted helpers regularly to help me to clear and tidy my sloping one hectare garden, which continues growing vigorously, and with other necessary maintenance tasks around my home. I would welcome a couple or two or three friends to work with me for a week or more in April. No particular experience is necessary, but any practical skills might be useful, and reasonable fitness is needed. I’m happy to share my own skills with willing helpers and will be working with you. Three to four hours of work per day in return for plentiful food and drink, and your own comfortable accommodation in my guest bedroom(s). I live in the Byron Bay hinterland, with my dog Rosie, in quiet country with ocean views and sightings of numerous wildlife. I come from England but have settled in Australia for the past 18 years, after travelling extensively around the world for both work and pleasure...

Hello, I live with my mother and stepfather on a lifestyle property in Waipapa, Northland. Our property is on a kiwi bird zone and we hear them most nights; dogs and cats aren’t allowed so the native bird life flourish on our property eg Tui’s. We are 10 minute drive from Kerikeri; a rural town with many kiwifruit, lemon and mandarin orchards, farmers markets and historical and natural attractions. A good location to access the beaches of northland or visit the historic town of Russell or Paihai beach. We'd like a helper for household duties, care work and gardening. I need help with basic personal care (setting up for meals eg juicing or heating food, making the bed, doing washing, ironing, doing the dishes, passing things, cleaning, light cooking, and chopping vegetables). I am flexible with the hours - options to work a mix of morning, day or evening in a week. 28hrs per week (4hrs per day equivalent). 3 days minimum and open to long stays. If you are French the job will also i...

My house is under major renovation. I will be open from June 2026. I will put up new dates when I have them. I will then be looking for people who can assist with light building works. Using a drill, hammer, sander, etc. I live in Woolloongabba in Brisbane. I have a lovely Queenslander house, which I have been sharing with backpackers since 2024. I work as a computer trainer in a law firm. I enjoy the arts, which is why I live close to the Major art galleries at South Bank. I also enjoy cycling and a good walk. I have done lots of cycle touring through the UK and some through Europe. I have also enjoyed remote bushwalking in Australia with people who can navigate, as I can't! I am also looking at getting back into my dancing again. Work required, I am slowly working on renovating my house and garden. I spend the time with you on the day you arrive or the day after you arrive showing you what to do. Also on the first weekend I will show more of what I need you to do. During the ...

Hi, my husband and I live in a beautiful area on a lifestyle farm with our four young kids. We are working on setting up a sustainable lifestyle and there's always something to do! We have beef cows, a milk cow, sheep, goats, chickens, a couple dogs and a producing greenhouse. Would love some help with homesteading, ongoing projects, property maintenance, gardening, and help around the house. If you like your exercise there's a walking track to the top of our property with stunning views at the top. Swimming hole at a beautiful river 5 minutes down the road. Accommodation provided in our family home. You will have your own upstairs sleeping area and a separate toilet. Three healthy meals provided for 4 hours work. We look forward to meeting you!

We are looking for a couple or two friends to stay for a couple of weeks or more if agreed. We are maintaining our property for sale and we need to keep in condition. There is work removing trees, tidying up the garden and removing debris from the fires and recent storms. There is also cleaning work helping Cate with property management. During free time you are welcome to borrow our electric scooters and go swimming and exploring. We live in Mallacoota, one of Australia's most beautiful places on the southeast coast. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park next to the ocean with an estuarine lake system and many, many beaches. We are 2km from the town centre and 3km from the nearest beach. There are about seven magnificent beaches within 10km of us. Mallacoota is 540km from Melbourne, 630km from Sydney and 360km from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule. Our family includes M...
