Friendly Rural Lifestyle Exchange: Help Preparing Meals, Gardening, & Property Projects in the Heathcote Wine Region! Hi there! We are a relaxed family living on a beautiful 20-acre property in the world-famous Heathcote winegrowing region, just a short drive from the historic gold-rush city of Bendigo in regional Victoria. Our place is surrounded by classic Australian bushland, meaning we don't have farm animals, but we do share the property with an abundance of native wildlife—you’ll regularly see kangaroos hopping past and hear amazing native birds right from the doorstep. The main host is my dad, an easygoing and practical person who loves a good chat, spending time outdoors, and keeping the property looking its best. I also live here and help manage things, but I will be traveling away for a few weeks this coming July. Because of that, we are looking for a couple of friendly, self-motivated, and independent travelers to come stay, keep Dad company, and lend a hand around the pla...

Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. If you like the beach and the wild west coast then I`m sure you will love it out here. I work in the television and film industry while my partner is a a musician. Drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself and maybe you can come out and share some of the magic that we feel living here. Cheers. Toby, Moana and Manawanui.

Hobbits are "little people" with big hearts and big bare feet firmly connected with mother earth. They habitually live "under the radar" of some PC embellished society and try all their best to not succumb to the madness of it. Claiming their birth right to nature's abundance, love, beauty and endless creativity they naturally make up to and make do with the lack of gold caused by the greedy child-eating dragon behind the bare stone mountains.. Hi, my name is Marianne. I live on a classic New Zealand all-day sunny "tree quarter acre of hobbit shire" looking down to Oamaru. If you arrive early enough at my kitchen window or even up on the jungle hill behind the cottage, you can see the sea and watch the sunrise. A 10 minute stroll down Eden Street gets you either to the CBD or to the shoreline. I am providing three basic meals per day as well as a comfortable and quiet room for your stay and to relax after our daily four hours of working together "out there", somewhere on some befitt...

Bay Area Beauty – San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay Hills) Thanks for checking out Bay Area Beauty! I live in a beautiful home in the San Francisco Bay Area and am looking for helpers interested in contributing to daily life around the home. Help may include household support, light handyman or organizing projects, cleaning, gardening/landscaping, animal care (dogs!), errands, and occasional personal or home-office assistance. 📍 Location I’m technically listed as “Oakland” for search purposes, but I live just north of Oakland and Berkeley, in Unincorporated San Pablo in the Richmond Hills. The home has sweeping views of the Bay Area — Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, Marin and the North Bay — and sits next to one of the largest regional parks in the East Bay. The setting feels more like a retreat or nature sanctuary than urban living. The city is accessible by public transit or car, but this is not a base for city exploration: it's a quiet, residential, nature-adjacent home that ha...

We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 10 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). Nous avions hâte d’être chez nous afin de poursuivre l’aventure en tant que hôtes, le HelpX nous ayant amené là où nous sommes aujourd’hui. We invite hard-working, happy people to help with kitchens and gardens (both decorative and produce), along with some events, programs, etc. It's an amazing community and you can be part of making it even better! We have a magnificent arts centre based on 75 hectares of fields and forest overlooking the Bay of Fundy, only 20 minutes from Wolfville and 80 minutes from Halifax. In winter, we need help with light construction projects, and assisting with some of our community programs. Spring, summer and fall, we need help with the arts projects and with the large gardens, and with the kitchen. It is an amazing place, and when open programs are available, we invite our volunteers to take part in great arts programs (when available)! Also looking for cooks, people to help with ushering for the theatre, etc., depending on the time of year. Looking for interesting, helpful people who want a new experience and want to make something beautiful! Please see here: https://artscentre.ca...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON. Need help with a garden clean up, at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed, skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town. It is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay, 2 hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. Hi, my name is Lin Zhao, the volunteer manager of this farm. After graduating from my university I have now decided to live and work on the farm, since I was born and grew up here. I really love this land. This farm belongs to our big family. It is overall primarily run by my uncle, though I will be your main contact person for the volunteering program. The farm is located in a small town called Jiuling, an hour drive from Mianyang city, Sichuan province, China. The farm is more than 300 hectares and it mainly lives on the swine business. We raise more than 5000 pigs, grow fruits (peach, grape, kiwi), peanuts and some vegetables. We employ about 150 local workers that help us running the farm. All the workers have their meals in the canteen together with the volunteers. Besides from pigs we have free-range chickens, goats and also some fishes in the different ponds. But this is not the only things we do. We also work on restoring the local ecological environment by reforestation bec...

Aloha and welcome to my Hawaiian-owned and operated farmstay, a small, homesteading project rooted in Native Hawaiian values, sustainability, and a true farm-to-table way of life. My goal is to grow, harvest, and share food directly from the ʻāina, providing nourishment for ourselves and our La Hui. while learning how to live simply, mindfully, and in harmony with the land. Situated on one acre on the east side of Hawaii. This māla produces tropical fruits, heirloom vegetables, and fresh eggs, all cultivated with care, presence, and respect for indigenous land stewardship practices. Helpers are invited to participate in planting, tending, harvesting, and preparing meals together, gaining hands-on knowledge of self-sufficiency, food sovereignty, and sustainable living. This is not a tourist experience, but a cultural exchange centered on healing through food, community, and Mālama i ke ʻĀina—caring for the land so it may care for us in return.
