Hello everybody, Bonjour français welcomed! We are a young family of 4. We live on the Northern Beaches in beautiful Pittwater on an island in 1 of the 3 harbours of Sydney, so boat access only!!! It is a beautiful place, with a very close knit community and very different from most places you've been to! Not easy every day but I guess that is also what brought us here! We really like to meet new people and to share our simple lifestyle. We have a few jobs that may be required so depending if you are a single person or a couple and depending of what is needing we might change things around. We are in the process of building so things to do with preparing the built or carrying building materials can be things on the job list. But we would love to get some help around the house. And also maybe some help with kids. We'd be looking for 4-5 hours work a day for 5 days. This could be changed to 6 hours a day 3 days a week if we really start the build. Everything will be talked to wi...

We are new to this platform but have been on workaway for about 6 years. We (My partner Ruby and me (Ross) and our 4 y/o Harriet) live on a little property in Central Victoria about 2 hours from Melbourne. We have been here for 7 years and are slowly chipping away at different projects from house fix ups to garden projects. Ross's background is in horticulture and landscape design and construction so we are putting in a lot of effort to the gardens. He also teaches a couple of days a week online. Ruby is a social worker, she works 4 days per week. Our 4 y/o daughter Harriet loves craft, games and playing doctors and dress ups. We also have two gorgeous/ energetic dogs and chickens. Our place is set on the edge of a creek on about 4 acres of land at the bottom of a ridge. We have an old tavern from around 1860 (now a house), a fairly new studio and a bungalow, caravan and workshops on our property. Ruby and I are both vegetarians and really like food! We are a 5 minute drive the cl...

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDINGS I would appreciate help with much needed garden work and sometimes any other handyman jobs you might feel able to tackle that come up, and prefer someone over the age of 40 as I am 80 and communication might come easier that way, unless you are experienced with communicating with the older folk. These would e my priorities. Also, basic domestic cleaning too. I live on the Redcliffe Peninsula, approximately 46km north of Brisbane city and approximately 80km south from the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) so this might be a handy stopping place for solo travelers who may be heading north or south as I would probably have just enough work JUST 4 DAYS. In exchange for 4 hours morning help a day, I can offer breakfast and lunch, (leaving every afternoon free to explore surrounding areas - you are welcome to bring in takeaway food for your evening meal if you prefer to eat in.) Due to the hot Queensland summers, you may also prefer th...

Imagine joining us at a small, homely backpackers in the small seaside town of Kaikoura, only 3 minutes from the main street. A vehicle of your own is not necesary as our location is so close to everything. For only 12 hours work a week you will get free accommodation, unlimited wi-fi, and laundry. Kaikoura is an awesome place if you love nature (whales, dolphins, seals, mountains, sea, walking tracks, sea food - crayfish - and much more) We would prefer if you can commit for a minimum of 3 weeks but happy to negotiate. There is plenty of paid work in the local cafes and pubs for someone wanting to save some serious money.

I am interested in hearing from suitable single female helpers that are able to stay around 3-4 weeks and can assist with care and maintenance of my sailing catamaran and home. My preference for female helpers is largely to do with the type of work you will perform and attention to detail that is required, and I have found female helpers to be much better than males over the last 10 years of hosting HelpX persons. When I have work that is better suited to males I will advertise as such….just not needed now. We will spend some time around the Capricorn coast and sunshine coast then cruise out to Great Keppel island and Lady Musgrave reef as weather permits. I have no schedule at present but there will be plenty of places to visit and or depart from. You will be an active, motivated person interested in marine life, reefs, turtles, fishing, snorkeling and the ocean as well as wanting to experience life on a comfortable sailing boat. I ask you to volunteer a few hours work each day in...

Fall 2025 - Oct 15 Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this Fall with all the varied colors of leaves falling:) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos are of my house area ...

Cool little Beach Village near Wellington Kia Ora all Currently looking for help with cat and house sitting for about 4 or 5 weeks starting Dec 20th approx), You would need to come a couple of days earlier to learn the routine and also need to have some familiarity and appreciation of cats - mine are very charming. I can always accommodate one person and sometimes two. You are welcome to get in touch for a chat via WhatsApp. Also need help in the future with making a fence from rocks and wood and a gate. Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. Hawaii Beach Project: This is a construction project that believes in creating positive change by using sustainable methods and newly invented building materials and procedures. Our project has been underway for over a decade and through the process we have had the opportunity to present a transformative experience for individuals who want to work on not only bringing the building and environment to a higher place, but to also bring themselves to a higher place. We provide and encourage all who come to volunteer to participate in meditation groups and seminars, yoga practices, healthy eating options (all of the food here is provided for you!), and make strong and lasting relationships with everyone who lives here! We are looking for long term help in carpentry, mechanical, electrical, fiber cable installation, tiling, masonry, and drywall. I have a property on the edge of Havelock North in Hawkes Bay.I need help in the gardens and around the property..Helpers have their own very comfortable and self contained accommodation .They are welcome to use the swimming pool and tennis court. The work is varied and not too strenuous. In the past some of my helpers have done their chores while also working in paid employment and I am flexible to manage these situations. My helpers all seem to love the food we eat- I’m a hunter gatherer and we eat lots of food like fish and home grown vegetables.. Couples are welcome. The property is within walking distance of the Havelock North village. Bikes are available for use. Havelock North is a vibrant town in one of New Zealand’s most attractive and liveable provinces. I need help to get my property looking good for the Christmas influx of family and friends. Summer has arrived early so the pool is already 28’ !

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Set in a hidden valley of Woonona, this 1 acre oasis is on a journey from forgotten, overgrown grassland to Permaculture wonderland! We have been practicing aspects of sustainability for over 15 years including Permaculture gardening, sustainable building and creating community. Sarah has a deep level of knowledge about market gardening, soil building and organic food & is a qualified Permaculture teacher. Ben is skilled at building with recycled, reclaimed and natural materials, tending fruit trees and teaching ecology & sustainability. The property is located about 5 minutes bike ride from lovely beaches and 5 minutes walk from local shops and access to buses into Wollongong. It`s also only 1.5hrs from Sydney by train. We spent 2010 WWOOFing around the planet with our two children, so we understand how to be good hosts. We love sharing lifestyle and experiences, so hopefully we can help you explore this wonderful part of the world. The current projects involve a range of gardeni...

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Driven by strong curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on my website link below). We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest. It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5km from Smiths Lake; 30km south of Forster) See my blog link below to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wallabies (pademelons), possums, parrots and native bush turkeys. Bush regeneration is another activity as well as assisting in ecological surveys of local rivers when t...

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We live in a large old house 20km inland of Byron Bay, in a quiet area of farmland and bush. We have a large garden and vegetable garden which is where we primarily need help. We have chickens, cats and 2 donkeys! We can offer a separate 'cottage' to stay in, and we provide all meals- some helpers have not wanted to go home! There is our new natural pool to cool off in too. In return we request 4 hours of genuine work per day. We are 8km from the nearest village so your own car is a big advantage, although we can pick you up if you don't have transport. Our family loves the cultural exchange aspect of HelpX and looks forward to meeting you and learning about your country. Right now we have work to do outdoors mainly weeding, some heavy lifting, pool cleaning, painting & gardening.

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome - to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years caring for this whenua, there are mature trees, orchards and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local landcare group, protecting our native forest, birds, lizards and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. My place fits independent, mature helpers who have work & life experience. I work at our local kura (scho...

This place of 55.000 qm pure nature has been the discovery of spring 2025. It "screams" to fulfill my dream of life: Live, love & work at one place! I love nature and take care about it every day. I am working self-employed with people and try now to bring this property in a kind of natural, authentic upgrade. Gardening as well as growing vegetables and keeping the forest as a place of recreation seems to be the main topics for the next months. Topic of winter 25/26 will be to "clean" the forest, which is on a slightly sloping slope with lots of terraces. You will love this place, if you are connected to nature and love to be on your own, far away from cities and complexity. Of course, Wifi is provided by Starlink. A small village is a few hundred meters away incl. bakery, butcher and some opportunities to have local food. There are four buildings on the property. You will live for yourself in one of them, having your own bathroom and are able to use a kitchen on your own, if yo...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

My name is Boudani Abidine. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southest of Morocco. We have an organic farm. It dates back to centuries when my grandfathers settled down in the Daraa Valley. We were nomade family. The farm is a beautiful place for families and pets to spend an enjoyable time. Also, there is an opportunity to connect with nature and soil. It is friendly for the whole family and pets. So, you're welcome to your second home! There is shower and toilet. For the daily activities in the farm, our volunteers can do housework, taking care of children, garden-work and taking care of the farm animals like shepherding and milking etc. We generate our own electrical power using a solar system. There are families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park in the farm. There is a security-guard for securing trucks, cars, motorhome etc. Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the farm. In the farm, our volunteers can relax, have...

We are an operating farm. Mostly silviculture. We farm mostly trees. We are situated in one of the largest Cork Tree areas in the world.Mediterranean forest ecoystems are considered one of the most important ecosystems right after Virgin Forests. We also have lots of pine trees both for lumber and also for pine nuts. Cork and pine nut trees are a very sustainable resource as their lifespan is over 200 years and they produce cork and pine nuts during that time. We pride ourselves for being an environmentally responsible farm and we enjoy teaching volunteers and visitors about what we do. We are a Forest Stewardship Council certified farm. FSC is a worldwide recognized organization that certifies socially and environmentally respectful organizations like ours, that harbour and follow, strict guidelines for workers, neighbouring populations and the environment. We are audited on a regular basis. We are not a commercial farm. so CANNOT sign for the 88 day visa 🌻 Hi, we are looking for one or two keen, healthy helpers to work with us on a range of tasks. We have a small berry orchard and vegetable gardens with roaming Guinea fowl, friendly kangaroos and our cute indoor house cats. Work at moment is raking and clearing around our property, weeding the berry area and planting seedlings in our garden. We have built our own unique home and there are still some parts to complete. Helpers with some skills are welcome but an actual interest in experiencing a more sustainable life during your stay with us is more important. We don't take bookings in advance but if you are ready to come help now or soon contact us. All your meals are provided and we eat together to plan our day.

From the agricultural antiques you may be cleaning and organizing, to working in the gardens. W...

Summer on the beach. Help out in the morning (2 hrs), surf or relax in the afternoon. We are looking for 1 more happy helper to join our team, to assist us mainly with house keeping and general hospitality tasks. Easy tasks, but would like to have someone with eye for detail and a 'can do' attitude. The rest of the property is natural woodlands and we try to live as sustainably as possible. The food is tasty vegetarian and we are happy to cater for vegans. Your accommodation is in a private and comfortable...
