We are One hour north of Anchorage Private and shared rooms. Bathroom, kitchenette, living space, washer dryer. Spare car to share on weekends. Farming 5 days a week around 5 hrs a day. Weekends free to explore. We grow strawberries zucchini cabbage carrots peppers tomatoes corn cucumbers kale artichokes broccoli cauliflower etc. 5 different Farmers markets for all who want to experience them. We have helpers come from wwoof and worldpackers as well.

We are a small-scale, organic vegetable farm in Palmer, Alaska. We grow an array of beautiful produce which includes carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, brussel sprouts, romanesco, broccoli, potatoes, rhubarb, onions, beets, and many more. All of the vegetables we sell at local farmers markets are grown by us and are free of pesticides, GMOs, and chemicals. We not only believe that people should feel connected to their food, but we also feel that it should be delicious, healthy, and accessible. Work on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sewing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

Welcome to Atelier Hillfon and our restaurant Café Boule! The house is an old alcohol brewery from the beginning of the 19th century. For the last 50 years the house has been an art studio and gallery of our father and artist Curt Hillfon who passed away in 2018. We are now three siblings that has inherited the house and we all work with different art craft like, ceramics, painting, glassblowing and jewellery making. We are also a culture meeting point for art, music and food. During the summer we arrange concerts and other events. One of the family member is building a ceramic ateljé. And will also give ceramic classes. Two years ago we opened a restaurant named Café Boule. We serve pizza made in a wood fire oven, we rent out petanque courts and serve wine and beer. This is an old country house in need of a handy man to make some small renovating jobs. Help in the house, maintenance 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, flexible on the time table. There are nice mountain tracks to walk. The house is at 14km from Gandia and at 18km from the beach. In exchange for your help I would give accommodation and meals. About us: We are one of the larger experienced organic vegetable farms in Sweden still active and have accepted volunteers since 1991. We are a certified organic vegetable farm that produces food for local consumption. We need volunteers for lambing season until end of May/beginning of June. Come help us lamb all of our sheep and experience the wonders of life! Assist over 500 sheep in giving birth and bottle feed tiny little lambs and all the other disgusting and cute things that go along with it. Lambing season is hard work and we work in shifts of 8 hours, but with 7-10 volunteers living in the house you’ll have time for fun in the sun, 2 days off each week with a household shift (cooking and cleaning). Lambing truly is a once in a lifetime experience and a great opportunity to learn about farming, sheep, and Iceland in general. My name is Bassett, my partner Morgan and our daughter Harlow (4 months) have an 8 acre property on the beautiful east coast of Tasmania. We are nestled in between the stunning beaches of Bicheno and the Douglas Apsley National Park. We are looking for help ex single or couple who would be able to help us maintain our property and bus 🚌 Airbnb accommodations while we are away in Melbourne.
