Hello! If you're a single helper, we would really love to hear from you about coming to stay with us from Monday 1st June 2026 but don't have availability before then. We also don't have availability from Saturday 4th to Sunday 19th July. We take a break from hosting helpers from November to March, as the weather becomes too hot and humid. By focusing on the cooler months, we can offer a far more comfortable, enjoyable, and productive experience. Who We Are We’re Craig and Yvonne, easy-going retirees in our sixties who’ve built our dream life on a forested acreage overlooking Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We love sharing our home, our culture, and our passion for nature with curious, enthusiastic helpers. Help us with renovating our house, orchard and vegetable garden! We (man, woman, 54 and 55 years old) have just bought a Spanish farm with an mandarin orchard which we want to convert to a food forest (syntropic farming). Besides that, we want to convert some stables to living space, as well as the old house. We are experienced in building works, DIY, technical projects. It is such a great project, our new future, but we just have 4 hands ... ;) We hope to welcome international helper guests to give us a hand. (Our 18yo son will also be joining us in summer.) We love to learn about other cultures, languages and have welcomed already many internationals in our former life in The Netherlands. Now we are continuing that in our new project in Spain. Focus this summer (2026) will be on cleaning up land and farmer buildings, weeding and improving the irrigation system in the mandarin orchard, growing plants from seeds. If there is time left we would also like to start building the outside...

Summer discription: besides our work on the farm we organise international workcamps, long-term stays, and voluntary work in different companies as printery, carpentry, farming, nursery If you like to learn milking cows or driving an old tractor, cutting hedges, shear sheep, build fences or throw honey, test your strength in the muck or while digging the garden - you should join us. If you find dung and greens not so interesting, we understand :-) We are a living and working community with different workshops and bio-dynamic farming in Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg. We are doing carpentry, printing, video production, publishing and distribution - it is always possible to help. Depending what you want to learn, you can help. We have four more than less old houses here in the village, so we also have to do a lot of construction work. The farming we do is not a business for us to earn money. We do it because we think farming is an important part in a holistic way of life. We have sheep, ...

After an intense house renovation, we are now entering the final phase, focusing on cleaning and refreshing the house. From APRIL (for about one month), we are looking for help with PAINTING work inside and outside, as well as some light gardening tasks such as weeding. This period is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to see visible results at the end of the day. From JUNE onwards, as the weather becomes warmer, the help will mainly consist of daily HOUSEKEEPING tasks (cleaning, ironing), with occasionally some light gardening. We’ve found that this experience works best for people who enjoy staying active and contributing in a practical way to daily life. We truly appreciate volunteers who bring positive energy, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine willingness to help. We are a Belgian family who has been living in France for over 20 years. In our late fifties, we speak French, Dutch, English, and a bit of Spanish. Our home is located in the beautiful r...

We extend a warm invitation to join us on our friendly farm by the seaside. We have availability from July 1st to the end of the year — all beautiful times of year here, when everything is either waking up again or settling in for s slower pace and the island feels full of fresh energy or is lulling off to sleep. Please inquire for availability during any time of the year. Joining us is a lovely chance to slow down, breathe, and really feel nature all around you. We’re right by the seaside, so you can live close to the water, enjoy the long light, and settle into the rhythm of rural coastal life. There’s always plenty to learn and experience here, and we’re delighted to welcome helpers who enjoy great scenery, good purpose, and a peaceful place to land for a while. If the timing suits you, we’d be very happy to take a look at hosting you and if you already have some farm experience we especially welcome you! ...

Hey everyone it's Coco. I have a farm property down here near Moruya at Congo, NSW. I have recently moved house and now live at my beach house, but still run the farm 2 km away. There is plenty to do as I am still getting organised at the beach house, so come and help. The house is across the road from the beach - swimming and surfing every day. On the farm there are a few cows and sheep, very friendly farm dog, an orchard and an organic garden to look after... and kangaroos. At the beach house i need help re-establishing my gardens, painting, general house maintenance. I am around heaps, but helpers need to be able to do stuff without supervision and know what you are doing. It's better if you have farm experience and a mature attitude. Things that I need help with specifically include: Farm related jobs Looking after the dog Check the cows Weed control Fencing checks House cleaning Lawns Washing Painting Meal preparation For your fun there are bikes, surfboards and plenty of ...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . 🌿 Come help on our farm! We need friendly volunteers to join us with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday tasks — no experience needed, just a good attitude and willingness to muck in.We are looking for helpers between the ages of 18 to 32. We are a small community of friends working towards a better life in a beautiful part of rural Devon, in the Tamar River Valley Estuary where you will make friends for life. In exchange for your friendship while you are staying here we will endeavour to teach you new skills that will carry you through life. A small farm in a beautiful location! Our farm and home probably date back to pre 1660's, with many additions since. It has been left to go wild for the last 40 years. The river has otters, seals, beavers, salmon, sea trout, and sea bass. With buzzards and owls overhead. There are deer in the surrounding woodland. The aim for our farm is to give the land back to nature and at the same time create an organic food source that we can freely s...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

I am looking for people that are passionate about dogs and like to spend time and work with dogs. A pack of 24 huskies is something different than having a pet dog at home. You will be able to join our animal assisted programs with kids and young adults and learn about it. I am educated in dog physiotherapy as well and there is the possibility to learn in this field as well. Beside the main topic the huskies we have bee hives and produce our own honey. There is a big garden with fruits and vegetables that needs maintainance. To sum it up our work here is mainly outdoors with nature and animals. Every day is different so its not possible to give you a long term daily structure in advance. There are some everyday tasks in the dogcare but the rest of the work depends on the weather and the season. As we live in a small village the main freetime activities are biking and hiking. More freetime options you find in cities around in your days off. Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

In 2023, we moved to a small 6ha farm which is mainly used for grazing horses. It has a couple of waterways running through the paddocks, and around 2ha of natural wetlands which were drained many decades ago. Our plan is to gradually plant native grasses and trees along the waterways, and eventually restore the wetlands to their natural glory. We need some help caring for all the new plantings – depending on the season this could be shovelling horse manure around the plants (spring), clearing weeds (spring), using a wood chipper to create mulch (spring/summer), or planting more trees (autumn/winter). We're pretty flexible though, and would also appreciate help with our vegetable garden, fruit trees, cooking & cleaning, dog-walking, fixing sheds, and maybe even some babysitting (our daughter was born in July 2025). Whatever you prefer! We generally ask for around 3-4 hours of help per day, 5 days per week, in exchange for a private room, cooked dinners, and ingredients for breakfast ...

On our farm we are both having sheep and cows. We would like someone who likes to work with the animals but also we would like someone who can help us with maintenance work, we have a lot of houses. Also we have a big garden and would like someone to help in gardening work. We have bedrooms for our workers but everything else is shared. We are used to have people/workers on our farm and staying in our home. Our farm is in a beautiful place and there is a lot of interesting places to visit in the neighborhood.

Hi I need some help for 2026 with wood chipping and general chores if you are able to help it would be much appreciated. I generate some of my own power with solar electric and solar hot water, make muesli, laundry detergent, soap, jams, preserves, seed saving, grow beef and vegetables, cook on a wood burning stove in winter and keep bees for honey. While I do these things I don't do them every day as farms are seasonal. I have a variety of general jobs that are ongoing. Most of the current work is weeding and mulching the permaculture food forest. Your separate accommodation is in a tiny house - see photos - which has a private kitchen, bathroom, lounge and mezzanine bedroom plus an outside deck area and Netflix. There is one big bed in the mezzanine bedroom that sleeps 2 and a sofa bed in the lounge which also sleeps 2. I provide your food but you will need to do your own cooking. I also teach permaculture courses a few times during the year. There is about an acre of pyo (u pick...

Our wonderful helpers from France have finally moved on - long after they originally intended as they loved it here, so we are now seeking some new helpers. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system heating and cooling. It is separate from the main house. It was a very popular AirBnB destination but we have decided not to do it anymore as it is too much extra work. The property is rural; half way between Wonthaggi and Inverloch so having a car is convenient but there...

They have left again and I hope to find some people who can help with the heavy things which need to be done(I am 69 and lift the blade so high is to heavy for me , for drilling the holes for the standing poles I simply haven't enough force). If someone can give me a hand that would be lovely.Like cutting the hedges, replacing some fences, building two terrace with beautiful Buxus wood and some wood cutting from fallen trees. You are welcome to come to help I like to share my beautiful place where you can have big walks or visit the markets in the villages around me (I like to cook good healthy meals, also vegetarian if wanted). There is place (also near the river) for camping or camping-cars. Thanks Aletta Dear all, I'm looking for people who are willing and able to help build a Walipini greenhouse at my new home on a south-facing slope. I'm also looking for reliable people to look after my house and pets from Janua...

Want to help us at BRUNY ISLAND this week? This would suit a couple or a group of friends wanting a short but fun adventure. You need a car for this HelpX. BRUNY ISLAND has BEACHES, FORESTS, BIRDS, NATURE, and so much more. We are located at Adventure Bay on the South of the island which is roughly a 90 minute journey from Hobart. About 3-4 hours work per day including collecting oysters (which is fun) other jobs include raking, watering, wood stacking etc - nothing difficult. Food & accommodation provided. Also Star-link WIFI. It’s our holiday house. The ferries depart every 30 minutes from Kettering. We live & work in Hobart so we usually stay at our house in Hobart. If you have any special skills like cooking, painting, etc tell me - but it’s fine if you don’t. . The house has 2 bedrooms, a cabin, & 3 caravans that also have multiple beds - so we can sleep LOTS of people if needed but sometimes we only need 2 people. We also have 2 swags if you prefer and plenty of r...

One helper for 7 to 10 days or a couple traveling together for 5 to 10 days I am retired and reside on a property situated in the Noosa Hinterlands I have two daughters who live close and two granddaughters who I love to spoil. I also have a large dog who is turning 5 years old and enjoys nothing more than her afternoon walks around the property followed by playtime and then food. The helpers must not be afraid of an extra large dog, she is contained but enjoys interaction with others. Volunteers would experience the joy associated with living on a small acreage property of 28 acres in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland 20 minutes from Noosa and also experience the peace and tranquility that small acreage living has to offer. Volunteer help for 4 hours per day each person which would including but not limited to gardening, pruning and mulching (must be use to physical work) also some housework and assisting with home cooked Australian meals in exchange for accommodation with own private...

* January - April 2026. Bed and Breakfast - Bio/Organic Vineyard. Dave & Brandy (my dog). Vineyard & Small Bed & Breakfast with two (2) rooms for guests. * Help always needed also at the Swiss Tattoo Museum. Dave loves to cook and the BnB thrives on his cooking skills, website reviews and best of all word of mouth! Also known as "Dave Cuvee" to guests and social friends, creating quality, delicious meals with love and passion is my destination. Most helpers leave here with extra kg, I am not talking about extra carry luggage ;-) Brandy is a female Hungarian Vizsla born October 2013. She is in training to search for truffles in the local forests. Brandy is a middle size dog weighing ca. 19kg and is very active. She is very intelligent, playful and uber friendly to everyone she has contact with. Brandy is being trained and fed by Dave, but she requires walks and exercise when Dave is at work. You should be a very dog friendly person. Dave speaks fluent English and Swiss German (...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

We have a vineyard, olive trees and vacation houses near Tropea in Calabria. We need a couple to help us for some week from september to june for vintage, olive harvest, gardening, general maintenance and internet announcements. In autumn, winter and spring we have a lot to do in the vineyard, with the olive trees, the house and garden. Accommodation in a full equipped chalet offered. It is better to COME WITH CAR or rent it here. We expect you to work 2 and half hours a day (16-20) hours a week. You should buy and cook your food. We are used to give local products and teach you how to prepare traditional dishes. We appreciate if you work more hours on weekends because we are at home. You have a free day in the week. If we have time, we can show you around our region and our white sandy beaches. We would be glad to welcome people from all over the world to our home. We prefer couples. Feel free to write us an Email! It's possible to contact us early, that's not a problem!

We can use your help for minimally three weeks starting mid-June. At this time we could use the help of someone who likes to cook. You would be of great help if you would cook one vegetarian meal a day (not in the weekends) for the three of us: you, Astrid and Thomas. We have no supermarket at hand for forgotten ingredients, so you have to like it to be creative with what is available. Apart from the cooking, it would be great if you would help with the routine tasks: taking care of the chickens and the sheep, do some pruning, carrying stuff, cleaning, irrigating, harvesting, etc. etc. ======================= Who are we looking for? The helper (in exceptional occasions two) we are looking for likes to live a basic life, and enjoys being outside. Enjoyed nature as a child already? Then you will find our place wonderful. There is some clothing for you but not in all sizes, so please bring your own working clothes, shoes and rainwear. We ask you to help us 25 hours a week. We have he...

My name is Wenche and together with my partner we have just taken over this beautiful homestead 1hrs 30 from Oslo. Chicks are in place and soon cows, sheep and pigs will arrive. There are some small refurbishment projects to be done in the house as well as the barns, the vegetable garden to tend to, as well as the fields for the animal winter food. The overall project is to make this place as self sustainable as possible. The experience shared is mainly help with the animals, walking-feeding-mucking, the vegetable garden, doing DIY projects and any refurbishment needed. There are also the fields, mostly hay for winter feed for the animals. P.S.: i also hosted on my farm in the spanish pyrenees, hence the review from Jolijn whilst she was there. I have also volunteered on many farms when i went with my van throughout europe, this is how i got this opportunity, i was a volunteer on this very farm in 2014! The house has 4 bedrooms, we would be sharing common space. There are also po...

Would like an energetic couple or single person to help out with gardening, and housework. We would expect about 4-5 hours help a day in return for free accommodation and meals. Large bedroom and own bathroom. We have animals so, would prefer someone who enjoyed them being around. There are many wonderful places to explore in Hawkes Bay when you are not working. Fantastic cycle ways, tramping trips into the native bush areas, beaches and wonderful wineries. Prefer you to have your own car to get around and beable to see the region.

Our place sits high on a hill with spectacular 360 degree views of mountains, valleys, rolling hills and city lights overlooking all of Albury/Wodonga, twin cities on the Murray River.

We’d love to meet you anytime, (from the middle of May only, as we are booked prior) These beautiful, green (4 hectares) are VERY close to New Plymouth City and Mt Taranaki, yet they have that peaceful feeling of being far out in the country.

Hello, The Walipini is ready and great, thanks to the two helpers. Thanks Aletta Dear all, I'm looking for people who are willing and able to help build a Walipini greenhouse at my new home on a south-facing slope.

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working.

Our home is an 1874 Historical property which is surrounded by established gardens. The Area: We are surrounded by vineyards with stunning mountain views in the beautiful Awatere valley of Marlborough. In our area we have some hikes and walking tracks close by. We provide comfortable accommodation in the main house with healthy meals in exchange for 4 hours work daily. At the moment we are in the throws of completing a building project. . We have nearly completed a glasshouse out of large windows. Need some planter boxes made and shelves put in. Finally to get a bit of painting completed. Anyone with these skills would be great. Some housework and meal preparation will be part of every day work at Oak Tree. Our Location: We are in the Awatere Valley, 1km from State Highway One. 25km drive south of Blenheim and 5 minutes drive from the small township of Seddon. There is a small supermarket, takeaways and pub in Seddon and self serve petrol station. HAVING YOUR OWN CAR woul...
