We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. SUNSHINE COAST - HINTERLAND Accommodation is a self-contained studio which includes kitchen, en-suite and wi-fi. Guests help with house and garden for 12 hours per week per guest. The help roster is Monday to Thursday - in summer from 6am to 9am and in winter 7am to 10am. Arrival is after 4pm and departure is before 11am. I have need of someone to help with gardening there is a lot to do and need you to like the outdoor life. I can lend you an old coat and gardening gloves for this. I am a strictly non smoking place both inside and out. Smokers including those who vape, will be asked to leave. I take in rescue dogs and then rehome when they are ready, you definitely need to like animals I have had people come who have an allergy to animal hair and dust. This is a farm atmosphere so dirt, dust and animal hair are normal here. I ask for five full hours a day please. ** as of 26th July we are looking for a helper for an approx 2 week stay ** We are a family in rural Australia who have helpers (only 1 helper at any one time) stay with us from time to time. Our experience has been that shorter stays of about 2 weeks work best for our situation. We live on a beautiful property on the Nymboida River, a 15 minute drive from the town of Dorrigo and 40 minutes drive from Bellingen. We offer a luxurious, self contained cottage which is adjacent to our house but is also privately positioned. We have young children and enjoy meeting new people.
