Hello global explorers; I have recently moved to Golden Bay and purchased a beautiful 2600sqm property on the banks of the crystal clear Motupipi Stream. The outlook is rural with sheep and cows in the paddocks across the stream, while an abundance of ducks, pukekos and sometimes a white heron roam the stream freely. I have four outrageous Silky chickens and a Muscovy duck couple who are currently expecting their first wee chick, so mama duck is spending most of her time sitting on the egg in her duck house. There is a beautiful orchard (requiring some skillful pruning) with many different species of fruit trees, and I've also planted more since arriving here. My plan is to turn the whole back lawn into a massive productive organic vegetable garden using no-dig and raised garden bed techniques.
