Good morning;. I went on the Wagon Train in Montana like I have since 1983. We had a bad wreck, both of us got hurt. My ribs are healed now. Please come help me. I am now able to ride the ride on mower and get mowing done. The helper who had been here just over 3 years [yes years],moved . He works in town full time, stayed here for free and helped with chores. I really need the help. I do need someone for the winter months for sure. I have had 3 really great helpers already this year and 1 vanishing act. Too funny. Not as much to do as most years. Painting will have to get done this year. That is outside on the little buildings. 2 barn doors need repairs. Please respond when I send an invitation. I wait and wait and so many do not reply. Thank you to those who do. Period 10th to 15th September Ideally looking for 4 people, 2 couples/friends etc and with previous HelpX experience. Based on the Island of Brac we are offering a self contained 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Apartment and meals in exchange for helping to manage the woodland around our house, clear away decades of small rubbish left by builders etc, tidy old and fallen trees to make a good wildlife habitat and make a pathway to the beach. Its manual work and best done in the early morning, depending on the temperatures We live in a beautiful bay, our house is 70 metres from the beach and a 15 minute walk from the nearest village - but if you want to explore the local area you do really need a car. There are good local shops and restaurants nearby. We have 4 bicycles (2 of which are ebikes) Paddle Boards and a Kayak We have 2 dogs. We have had helpers and house sitters over the last 20 years in the various places we live and have met some truly wonderful and interesting people

I`m Nadege, French, fluent English. I live in a big house with garden in Toulouse suburbs with Anthony, English born and little dog Oscar (shitsu). I love traveling (been to a few countries in Europe, USA, Canada, Cuba, Asia, Indonesia, West Indies...) and meeting new people, discovering new cultures. I usually live in Australia with my husband but have returned to Japan to look after my 100-year-old mother at her house in Yokohama, an hours drive south of Tokyo. My husband will soon return to Australia as the fire season is approaching and there are dangers for our house in the forest there (see BLOG and WEBSITE). With only me looking after my mother it is quite intense as I can get little rest, and according to my mother's doctor, the intensity will only increase towards the end of the year. I worry I will have trouble in the future getting out to do shopping and even my own medical appointments. There is a constant flow of medical professionals coming to the house (nurses, doctor, physiotherapist, dentist, masseuse and social worker), but this does not give me a break as it is important that I am present and alert absorbing any developing insights.
