Winter February 2026 - opening as of Feb 8th Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this winter with all the wild life right in our back yard :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, Douglas fir, maple and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking, walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other ...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish.. Swim at the beach across the road, go fishing or take out the kayaks (experience and wearher dependent). Take the bike and pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri (1/2 to 3/4hr). Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into the vast iconic view and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, as we move into the dotage we need help with the massive task of #296, so we are keen to have people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. When Debs & I started hosting in 2025 we moved to the sleepout making the two interior bedrooms available, hoping helpers from different cultures will ha...

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. ,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters !! .please don`t apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers ! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar ( badly ) and sing ( worse ) ,but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

We live in a peaceful botanical garden in the foothills of Kunanyi/Mount Wellington above Nipaluna/Hobart. We are Fabian and Stephanie, originally from Singapore and France. We are based in Oratia, on the edge of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, 18min drive from Piha beach and 8min from Henderson. The Oratia bus stop & convenience store is probably 15min walk away. and the Glen Eden & Sunnyvale train station 8min drive approximately. Our vision for our property: a sustainable organic food forest, less invasive plants and more native plants along the stream, a place which supports feeling grounded and connected to Nature, a place to enjoy swimming in the river, meditating under the eucalyptus and playing music around the fire. We are planning to bring our Zen Forest Tiny House in April 2026 (Youtube link for our tiny house tour). We will privilege people who have a full profile, references and experience in landscaping. We welcome travellers who can help us with: - landscaping - this is our #1 priority for March 2026 and requires physical strength to dig, move soil/compost/mulch/rocks...

Hi, and welcome to NZ. ***Thank you for looking - but we have a helper at this stage until late March*** Looking for 1 female who likes the outdoors & animals, is confident with horses, & also likes to help around the house and garden. I'm recovering from surgery for torn ligaments in my shoulder. I'd really appreciate another set of hands to help out as I'm not too quick with only one good arm at present! If you are experienced in horse riding, my horse would enjoy some riding too! We own a small farm south of Ashburton, or just over an hour south of Christchurch. We have a mixture of friendly animals, including sheep, goats, cattle, free range hens and horses. Jobs include helping with feeding animals, & generally helping with some paddock & farm maintenance, like collecting horse manure with our large Greystone Paddock Vacuum (too easy!) And some weed control in the paddocks or around our tree plantings. Maybe some gardening. And feeding the guinea pigs! Did I mentio...

We are a family of 3 (my son is 8) looking for some help on our residential home in Raglan. We have walking tracks around our home, kayaks to use from just behind our home, tennis courts and basket ball hoop up the road, and we are 5 mins drive to the beach. We have a 5 month old cocker spaniel-poodle. I am looking for some help with gardening (weeding, mulching, pruning flaxs and natives), landscaping ( creating a path thru natives/weeds, unloading decorative rocks) and cleaning (car, bathrooms, floors, windows). We love the ocean and in our spare time enjoy getting to the beach for surfing, foiling, boogie boarding, kayaking and sailing. We home school our son. We offer a large bedroom with queen bed. There is on street parking available. I am happy for you to work your own hours so that you can make the most of the weather and tide to discover Raglan. We look forward to giving you local information about exploring and making the most of your stay in our beautiful town...

Come experience the stunning views of Te Mata overlooking Whangarei Harbour and Bream Bay. We are looking for helpX volunteers for one or more weeks in exchange for accommodation in a spacious room in the main house, 3 delicious meals a day, and, of course, a great time. We are a retired couple, enjoying a peaceful life on our 2.5 acres, surrounded by farm land overlooking the Strzelecky Ranges. We have two dogs, Shadow who's 14 and Daisy 4, and 9 chickens and 3 chicks. Serena has planted lots of trees and shrubs, a nice vegetable garden, but it's all getting out of hand! We'd like someone to assist us with carting mulch, cutting back trees and shrubs, splitting and stacking firewood (don't worry, we have a hydraulic log splitter), general garden maintenance jobs and perhaps some external painting (the house is due for a paint job, we have started already but there's plenty left!). We ask for 2 hours/day (for a couple) or 3 hours/day (single person) in return for lodging in your own studio apartment in the main house, with Queen bedroom, private sitting room, amenity area and private bathroom (if it happens to be booked out for an AirBnB we can accommodate you in our vintage Jayco Camper). We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

Situated on the edge of the Great Divide, we are surrounded by great views, Kangaroos, Wombats, Echidna and numerous bird species including wedge tail eagles, Rosella's and Kookaburras. Just an hour from Melbourne [less from the airport] we can arrange pick up. Our farm has Highland Cattle, Chooks and a large Vegie garden/orchard. While we have no urgent work requirements and the farm is only our hobby [we are semi retired ] there is always something to do, however we have no paid employment available and cannot add points for visa extension. We have a spare room with double bed or we can accommodate 2 x singles as well. The nearest public transport is 15 minute drive and we can drop people of most days as we go past the station nearly every day. Our current projects are house painting, wood cutting and gardening.

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , .

Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...
