We live in a beautiful home surrounded by nature in the hills of Perth, just a short walk from the Kalamunda town centre and the bus station to Perth which is about 40 minutes away. Half an hour by car. The property backs onto a National Park. We are looking for a friendly and responsible helper to assist with: Gardening (weeding, planting, general upkeep). Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden. Accommodation is a granny flat with a powder room attached. There is a fold out double couch, or an extra single mattress if required. You will share the bathroom and kitchen - in exchange for gardening, maintenance, paving, painting, cooking or housework. Must love dogs - my dogs like to oversee human pursuits like digging, weeding and walking. I can assist with transport to local hiking spots, beach, or parks, or can pick you up from train or bus station. Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. ...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Hello. I’m Paul, a retired musician. I live in a mountain area made of rounded, wooded peaks in the inland of the Italian Riviera, at the point of connection between two regions, Tuscany and Liguria, widely renown for art towns (Pisa, Lucca, Florence among others) and picturesque fishing villages. It’s a quiet setting to get away from it all, with a 360 degree view stretching for tens of miles and right down to the Mediterranean Sea, only 25 km/15 miles away. Here is where the Alta Via (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) starts, a long-distance waymarked hiking trail for nature lovers. I speak Italian (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent). I’m looking for calm-natured volunteers who are self-motivated and good with their hands, willing to help me with general maintenance around my property in exchange for food and lodging in a friendly environment. I appreciate a baggage of life experience that is not too small, so volunteers in their mid to late twenties at least and in...

Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

Hi everyone. My name's Claud I'm a beekeeper and a horse trainer I live on a small island south of Greece called Kythira. The island is full of beautiful beaches and green small forests. I owe nearly 100 beehives and I need help maintaining the equipment and taking care of them. I also help a friend ride and train and take care of his horses. I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

Kia Ora, We are a family of 3. Rich is a chef, Helen is a nurse & our son is 14. Our dog ‘T-Rex’ is a 8 year old Labrador. We have a Giant Flemish rabbit ‘Flax’ and 6 beautiful chickens. We have hosted Help X volunteers many times in the past, but we closed our account down at the start of the pandemic & lost our reviews. Our past Help X crew helped us set up our current Air BnB, and came from all around the globe. The space you’ll live in during this winter period is our precious ‘Superhost/guests favourite’ Air BnB space. We are quieter in winter so will work HelpX in around our Air BnB bookings. We’re a busy whānau/family with lots going on in our whare/home. We’re in a residential area, 7kms out of Rotorua central. We’re looking for 1 person or a couple to help with a number of things, mainly gardening/weeding and painting outside - current paint job is the outside of the guesthouse . If you are an artist, we may be interested in a mural painting on our fence or garage door. ...

Looking for help in June/July, must be used to working outdoors. Ideally French as we are practicing our French ahead of a trip. We're looking for help around the garden, raking leaves, weeding, mowing, digging/tidying garden beds etc. We are planning some garden improvements so there's a bit of basic landscaping that we are working on. It would be great if you have experience using a lawn mower, other garden equipment. Animals include a bunch of chickens, 3 cheeky alpacas and 1 adorable cat. The property is in a quiet street at the edge of town, with great neighbours. Internet is available (though not unlimited so endless videos can be a problem). Our house is comfortable and we enjoy the garden in the warmer weather. Double bedroom, family bathroom. Non-smokers, please. We are always happy to drop you into the village (4km) should you want to catch the train or go to the pub. We try to take our helpers out for a pub meal once a fortnight or get takeaway meals like pizza or Indi...

Available now - painting experience wanted. I have been living in Whangarei for most of my life - love it here :-) myself and partner have recently bought a home on half an acre of land a few minutes drive from the CBD and also have a Waterfront Bach 10 minutes drive away too. Love helping the community, mountain biking and mountain biking trails and exploring lots of fun things to do nearby. With these homes there`s plenty of work to be done around - including especially painting, yard work / gardening, housework, helping building a tree house etc. I`d like to meet some travellers to help out with these and happy to introduce / show around some of northland`s best attractions / secrets! Can provide sleeping quarters, food and drinks for around 4 hours work per day.. Can also potentially provide a bike to borrow / further allowances dependent on the level of work.. Also if anyone has any specific experience and career history as any building related trade I would happily pay a go...

ABOUT US: We are family of 5: Bart (36), Ida (35), Johan (9), Noor(6), Alma-Roos(3) We bought this lovely farm on the west-coast of Norway in 2020. It had been laying their waiting for us, abandoned, since 1971. It had no water, electricity or road when we bought it. The house was dilapidated, and the barn in ruins with a giant willow in the middle of it. Now, 5 years later, we have a road, water and electricity. The barn has been resurrected, and Bart has established his timber framing company on the farm. The coming 2-3 years there will be a big focus on restoring the farm house, and for this job we would appreciate the help of people eager to exchange their time for a good educational experience. At the moment we have 3 major projects at the farm: 1: get started with the house 2: getting ready for farming 3: looking after the already existing vegetable garden. Besides these 3 mayor task there are always the ongoing chores that comes along with having a farm and 3 small kids....

Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. ...

If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...).

This is a Standardbred Horse stud located at the foot of the Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. We welcome working holiday visa holders with horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses!! Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our standardbred racehorses, yearlings, broodmares and stallions. Feeding, grooming, mucking out etc. Ideal helpers will be positive and willing. We enjoy meeting enthusiastic people that really want to get involved on the farm and learn how we do things. Day to day life on the farm is easy going, and we encourage our travellers to enjoy their down time exploring all the area has to offer, such as walks in the national park and rainforest or swimming in the creeks and waterfalls.

Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We offer a straightforward exchange: your work in return for food. If you value independence, don't mind routine tasks, love being surrounded by nature and embrace a self-directed way of living, this could be the perfect fit for you! Hello! My name is Hugo and I live on the slopes of San Pedro volcano in Guatemala, in a wild and truly isolated area of Lake Atitlan, accessible only by water. There are no roads, no close neighbors and no noise. Just pure nature, the songs of birds and a stunning beach. I’m on a journey to build a home in this paradise. Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you!

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...
