Come Spend Some Time in the Coromandel 🌿 We have beaches, we have forests, and we have a very casual relationship with clocks. We’re a couple in our 40s–50s looking for people to share our piece of wilderness with. We have two somewhat manic cats, but we ourselves are fairly chill. Over the years we’ve tried a wide range of hobbies and crafts, from home brewing and cheesemaking to glass blowing and hang gliding (some more current than others!). We enjoy meeting creative people and giving everything a go. We’ve travelled through Scandinavia and Asia and look forward to travelling again, but for now we travel vicariously through our visitors’ stories — and love helping you make the most of your adventures in New Zealand. Our property is 26 hectares of regenerating native bush, with a stream, waterfalls, swimming holes, glow worms, and plenty of space to explore. We’re close to Whitianga, Hot Water Beach, and Cathedral Cove, yet the home itself is tucked into the forest where you can ...

A chance to enjoy the beautiful Outer Hebrides! Our house in Sollas, on the northwest coast of North Uist, has plenty of room and is the ideal base for you to explore the islands. Minutes from the beach, moorlands and lochs, we have lots of wonderful places to discover. You will have your own room, WiFi and a bicycle if you need. All food included. Help needed with light cleaning duties, some gardening and grass cutting, collecting shopping from the store (10 minute walk) and food preparation. It won't be more than 20 hours a week and it's completely flexible, you can enjoy everything the islands have to offer in your free-time. We have some sheep who pretty much take care of themselves, grazing on the croft. You can hopefully see most of what you need to know from the photos. The house is two storeys and has five bedrooms. The only person living there full-time is our grandmother and she just uses the downstairs. Family visit at holidays and some weekends. Our Granny can teach you Gae...

Come and get a real taste of Nu Zelan! Home brew, home made breads and fresh fish; fruit/veg etc. Swim at the beach across the road, go fishing or take out the kayaks (experience and wearher dependent). Take the bike and pedal 2km to Waiomu; then tramp/jog to some beautiful Kauri. Do an overnighter to The Pinnacles Hut up the Kauranga Valley if yr into the vast iconic view and like tramping (you need to book). If you have wheels you can do great day trips around the Peninsula. And if yr more chill, Thames has some great op-shops. Debs & I are happy boomers on the endless holiday ! Loving every second left. However, as we move into the dotage we need help with the massive task of #296, so we are keen to have people who want to help, who are comfortable speaking English (or trying) and value simple routines and shared respect. We also enjoy welcoming solo travellers from anywhere, any age, who may not have a car. Your help will help me realize a ten-year plan. 1. To create gardens...

Hello, I Luvertin or family of Mombracco e’ a farm born in 2016 from zero, we renovated an old building and built the first stable for our goats with our own hands, with sacrifice and dedication we have recovered abandoned land and we are still doing it. Over the years we have participated in development projects and have built a new stable and a new wooden building, we have built the dairy to produce cheese. We are now producing and selling our products. We'd love to find some of the people who can help us on our journey. We need to start over with a family garden, raising chickens for self-consumption. We need to expand spaces for the family that has grown up and for guests. Claudio is’ really skilled new manual labor and can't wait to pair him with a handsome man to teach him and build something beautiful! Our e’ family of Claudio and Jessica with 6 children aged 14, 12, 10, 8, 5 and 0! We live in a fabulous area of the COTTIAN Alps! Monviso in the Po Valley, on the Mombracco....

My name is Selly and I am the founder of an association. I live in the city of Morogoro in Tanzania, where I was born. I founded this association 4years ago with the aim of promoting access to education for children,Youth and-women in my country and hometown. Unfortunately, although Tanzania has exceptional wildlife and culture, access to education is marked by significant inequalities. Approximately 3.5 million school-age children and adolescents are not enrolled in school, and nearly 30% of children aged 5 to 14 are working, 94% of whom are in the agricultural sector. Additionally, child labor still affects approximately 4.2 million children aged 5 to 17. If you wish to get involved in our project, you are welcome, whether it be for the short or long term. For the past two years, we have regularly welcomed volunteers of all backgrounds to participate in our project, but also to discover our country, its exceptional wildlife and flora, and to exchange ideas about our culture. If ...

We are an Australian White sheep farm (with a few cattle) on the volcanic plains of Victoria just north of the regional centre of Ballarat, adjoining Mount Beckworth, a large State Park/Scenic Reserve.. The property has been in our family for over 160 years and we are the fifth generation to live and work here. Prior to taking over the farm, we worked in education for many years. As well as the livestock, we also run a Farmstay operation, with guests staying most weekends. We are located six kilometres from the historic village of Clunes, which was the first town established during the goldrush era in Victoria in the mid-19th Century. We are one and a half hours' drive from central Melbourne and there is a regular, frequent train service between Melbourne and Ballarat, and daily to Clunes. We are located in an attractive area in the Central Highlands of Victoria, with a number of historic, attractive villages and towns nearby, as well as parks and reserves, cafes, galleries, winer...

Hello World! We - that is: one French, two Germans, three Belgians, two donkeys, two dogs and five cats - are reconstructing one of the many abandoned villages in Spain. For 5 years, we have cleaned out ruins, rebuilt houses, repaired terraces, planted trees, and built up gardens. Our little village is located in the middle of the Pyrenees and consists of ten houses and an ancient church. We are learning most of the skills we need here on the way and you are welcome to join us on that path. By now, we have some experience with stone wall building, roof construction, garden designs, and permaculture. Of course, we are happy to share what we have learned but we also invite you to explore the project's possibilities yourself and find out what area you want to get some experience. The first phase of our project now lays behind us: we have restored 5 houses (4 individuals homes and 1 common house) and our village has come back to life. Now, we want to enter the next phase in which we want...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

CURRENTLY SEEKING A COUPLE, single male or female from early March 2026 onwards, but please feel free to ask if you have some availability either now or in the future. A MINIMUM COMMITMENT of at least one month is required please. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. Katie and I own a small crofting home in the rural heart of the Scottish West Highlands in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a message here if you are interested in a placement with us. We are particularly keen on couples with the male having some basic building o...

We are a small homestead with gardens and animals with a surface of 3.000 square meters. We cultivate fruit (about 25 trees: orange, mandarine, apple, almond, olive, etc), and vegetables. We have a lot of chicken (about 80) as well as a few cats (10) and dogs (3) running around. Other than that we try to produce a few organic products such as tomato sauce, dried tomatoes, and figs and make our own olives. I will have a surgery in mid April and I will be away for about 6weeks. For the time of my absence, I am looking for one or two reliable people who would like to stay with us and offer their support. Ideally, you would arrive about one week before my departure, so I can show you everything and explain all routines in detail. The main focus is on the loving care of our dogs and other animals, as well as a few small daily tasks. My husband will be here, but he is very busy with fishing ,so your help would be a great relief for him. We are happy to receive seriious applications from...

We’d love to welcome you to our 5-acre permaculture farm in Shadforth, just 4km from the heart of Denmark in stunning South-West WA. Relax in your own private apartment, completely separate from the house. 🌱 On our farm we apply permaculture and regenerative agriculture principles. We use sheep for regenerative grazing and for our own meat self sufficiency. Our next project is planting fruit trees to increase biodiversity and productivity on the land. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 We are a couple with two energetic boys aged 10 and 13. We are active in the local community and we enjoy sharing our lifestyle with open-minded, curious people. 🐕 Our land is also home to our loyal and hard-working male livestock guardian dog, who takes his job of protecting the chickens and sheep from foxes very seriously. Kia ora! I am a single working kiwi mother of 2 teens, who are both quite shy and studious. We also have a friendly young working couple living with us from Hong Kong/Makau. I am looking for a helper to assist me with improvements around our home, backyard & garden in exchange for room and meals and the enjoyment of our home and the environment in Rotorua. We have some cats, lots of hens and chicks, 2 ducks, and two silly dogs, both miniature fluffy types. I enjoy doing outdoor activities with others such as swimming, kayaking, exploring our lakes and trails and enjoying our beautiful scenery. I am looking for a female helper (or a couple) who would be happy to be part of our family for a little while, helping around our home & garden, and with project/improvements. The helper would have a great base from which to go off and enjoy trips around the Rotorua area or beyond. I prefer people who are friendly, enjoy adventures, and have the initiative and common sense to be able to he...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

Hei ! Here is Ingunn and Mathieu. We are a Norwegian-French couple and since mai 2021 a happy family of three. Our family house "Karnes Gaard" is a farm since the 16th century. In 1912, Ingunn's grand father gave part of the land for the Tromsø county to build "Solhov", prestigious boarding school and largest wooden building north of Trondheim. When Ingunn took over the farm in 2009, running it organically felt something obvious. And when Solhov was for sale the next year, a dream became possible : sharing our love for the Lyngen Alps by hosting guests who seek breathtaking surroundings, healthy stay and organic local food, peaceful lifestyle and carbon-free activities. Our dream is to serve as much as possible our organic and local products to these guests. Originally we grow potatoes and strawberries. We are trying several small scale production to see what is possible to grow here up north. At the moment, we are focusing in : - increasing our honeybees park, hives and flowers -...

Hello, I have recently moved into a property 15 minutes out of St Mary’s. It has a comfortable house and is surrounded by pristine bush. I have a vision of what I would like the property to eventually look like but there is a lot of work to do before then. Firstly the property needs a good tidy up. It hasn’t been maintained for a few years so there is quite a lot of growth that needs to be cleared to make it fire safe. This will involve chainsawing and brush cutting (whipper snipper). There is a lot of building materials and rubbish that can be taken to the tip. The house could do with a deep clean as well. There are some small shelters (a bit damaged) that I would like to resurrect and tidy up so that they can be used.
The house has a lot of character and a great feel. The property and the bush here is very relaxed, quiet and calm. You can only hear the sound of the bush and the birds. A great environment to really slow down, connect and enjoy the beauty of the Tasmanian bush.
There...

It won't be more than 20 hours a week and it's completely flexible, you can enjoy everything the islands have to offer in your free-time.

We use a chicken mandala system, rotating our chicken coop through veggie garden zones to regenerate soil, reduce pests, and grow nutrient-rich food. We use sheep for regenerative grazing and for our own meat self sufficiency. Our next project is planting fruit trees to increase biodiversity and productivity on the land. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 We are a couple with two energetic boys aged 10 and 13.

There...
