Hi, my name is Mary. I live on the border of NSW and Victoria, a town called Albury. There is a train service to Albury from Sydney about 9 hours and Melbourne about 5 hours train trip. I am happy to pick someone from the Albury railway station. Albury is a pretty town on the Hume Highway. It is inland on the Murray River and there are a lot of local attractions, vineyards, historical small towns, snow fields and many more, only a few hours drive. I am located in town, with the railway station and the airport not too far, about 15minutes drive. I am fully vaccinated and require the same of a helper. I only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke at all, outside as well). Currently I am asking for 2.5hrs a day for board only. You can cook for yourselves, buy supplies locally and after cooking clean your area. I would like help with the garden and other general duties around the house, such as cleaning. If you are travelling this way, either going to Melbourne or locally and can hel...

Hello Everyone, My son (5) and I (40) are living in the beautiful Northwest of Tasmania. Situated on the foothills of Mount Roland our hobby farm is close to tourist attractions like Cradle Mountain and only a short drive into the historic town of Sheffield. We are growing our own veggies and run a small amount of stock on our 20 acre property. Bordering the Dasher River with Pine Forrest on each side, the farm is very private with opportunities to get adventurous and go for a fish, a mushroom hunt or bushwalk. A little cottage not far away from the main resident will be your accommodation during your stay. We are hoping to find helpers who can give us a hand in the garden and with farm maintenance. In return we offer accommodation and food. We are a multicultural household and are happy to teach German or English to our guest. I’m also a chef and are happy to share recipes and teach cookery. One of my daily routine involves baking organic sourdough. Which i am happy to teach you too....

Our hostel, camping site, canoe and bicycle rental is 30 km from Prague, reachable by the train that goes through the nearby village, a beautiful area of the Czech Republic, surrounded by forests, the Sazava river, historic sites, cycle and hiking trails and nature. We are looking for people who can help us with common work around the place; like housekeeping, helping in the kitchen, cutting grass, painting and general maintenance etc. I invite people who are independent, enjoy nature, are happy to do whatever is needed around the place, can pitch in together and be flexible with work hours and tasks. I prefer people to stay for 1 month or longer, but sometimes a short stay is ok, contact me to find out. We offer a relaxed environment, flexible work hours with lots of time to swim in the river that is on our doorstep, ride our bikes on the Prague to Vienna cycle trail running past our centre, walk in the surrounding forest, visit the nearby ancient castles and monasteries, or rela...

We're offering free accommodation in a modern home in exchange for some gardening and light odd-job duties on a lovely property in a semi rural location near beautiful Waihi Beach in western Bay of Plenty, which is south of the Coromandel. Once a week, during two hours, I volunteer with other residents of Athenree to renovate and maintain the oldest house in the neighbourhood! I'm happy to come with the backpackers there! It is a house/museum that is open to the public on Sundays. We have been hosting backpackers and tourists for over 30 years and have many excellent references from visitors from around the world (in a precious book). We like to eat from our garden and have raised garden beds with different vegetables, plus a variety of fruit trees that fruit at different times of the year. In addition to the beach, other nearby activities include mineral hot pools, wetlands, bush walks, bike trails, Karangahake Gorge. We can provide: bicycles, surf board, kayak, fishing gear ...

Our wonderful helpers from France have finally moved on - long after they originally intended as they loved it here, so we are now seeking some new helpers. ENJOY THE FREEDOM & BEAUTY OF SOUTH GIPPSLAND. Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We need help with weeding, mowing, mulching, planting and general clean up as the property is too big for the two of us to maintain. Accommodation is very comfortable, private, with fully set up kitchen in a studio style cottage with a queen size bed and smart TV. Recently installed a new electric oven with airfry function. Has split system heating and cooling. It is separate from the main house. It was a very popular AirBnB destination but we have decided not to do it anymore as it is too much extra work. The property is rural; half way between Wonthaggi and Inverloch so having a car is convenient but there...

Welcome! Your choice: You can exchange two hours help a day for the room only, or you can work for 4 hours a day and we provide meals. We have a private spot close to town here, and are two friendly people, a little dog, and some chickens. Our quiet and green home is in easy and pleasant walking distance of Nelson city centre. It's like being in the country. There is also a bus just steps away, if you want to get into town quickly. This is a good mix - looking after trees, garden, house and each other; making music; preserving fruit, etc We - meaning us two, Ian and Eva - love WWOOFers who enjoy what we are doing, and want to be friendly and part of the family. Eva is a Homoeopath, Ian is an Engineer, we both love to sing, eat, and share good food, and have fun with friendly woofers. The house is surrounded by green hills, with some of Nelson's best bike tracks and walks right next to us. We love cooking and sharing meals. We can talk with you in English, French or German No Smo...

We are looking for two practical people for next week for one week to help with laying weed mat, and preparing for some planting - may involve shifting some wood, weedeating if you have skills etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travellers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Most of the time we have a beautiful black Labrador called Kenai. We also have a pool and a hot tub in the bush. We are located just over an hour north of Auckland at a beautifu...

Kia Ora travellers, we are keen to welcome you to our place. If you have only just arrived and are trying to find your way around then we'd be happy to help you or Ii you are just looking for a little taste of normal Kiwi rural life we would love to host you. We are looking for helpers at the moment. Generally we offer about a week's work but if interested there might be a possibility of a longer stay with some housesitting involved. Meg and I are a young couple (in our sixties), our three daughters have now all left home and are living their own independent lives. We love to have young people around. We will make sure to spend some time with you as we enjoy helping with English, while still leaving you plenty of time to yourselves. I am looking for people that are passionate about dogs and like to spend time and work with dogs. A pack of 24 huskies is something different than having a pet dog at home. You will be able to join our animal assisted programs with kids and young adults and learn about it. I am educated in dog physiotherapy as well and there is the possibility to learn in this field as well. Beside the main topic the huskies we have bee hives and produce our own honey. There is a big garden with fruits and vegetables that needs maintainance. To sum it up our work here is mainly outdoors with nature and animals. Every day is different so its not possible to give you a long term daily structure in advance. There are some everyday tasks in the dogcare but the rest of the work depends on the weather and the season. As we live in a small village the main freetime activities are biking and hiking. More freetime options you find in cities around in your days off. Vienna is quite close and its possible to ta...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

Come Spend Some Time in the Coromandel 🌿 We have beaches, we have forests, and we have a very casual relationship with clocks. We’re a couple in our 40s–50s looking for people to share our piece of wilderness with. We have two somewhat manic cats, but we ourselves are fairly chill. Over the years we’ve tried a wide range of hobbies and crafts, from home brewing and cheesemaking to glass blowing and hang gliding (some more current than others!). We enjoy meeting creative people and giving everything a go. We’ve travelled through Scandinavia and Asia and look forward to travelling again, but for now we travel vicariously through our visitors’ stories — and love helping you make the most of your adventures in New Zealand. Our property is 26 hectares of regenerating native bush, with a stream, waterfalls, swimming holes, glow worms, and plenty of space to explore. We’re close to Whitianga, Hot Water Beach, and Cathedral Cove, yet the home itself is tucked into the forest where you can ...

Kia ora, travellers! Haere mai - welcome - to my whare (home) in beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and insects. We built this eco-earth house using local clay from right under our feet. This land used to be just grass, but after 30 years of caring for this whenua, it now has mature trees, orchards, and organic gardens. Life here is peaceful and quiet, perfect for enjoying nature I am part of the local landcare group, helping protect our native forest, birds, lizards, and insects. We trap predators and remove invasive weeds. You could help with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, chickens, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood. I bake bread. I make apple cider vinegar, bottle fruit, jam, chutney, sauerkraut, and collect seeds. My place fits independent and mature helpers who love working outside and don't mind getting t...

Looking for a lovely volunteer to join us and our animals. AVAILABILITY FROM the middle of May. Please contact us if you are interested in helping look after our wonderful animals. Experience with horses is useful but not necessary as long as you are happy to care for them. You will live as part of the family - during your stay, our home will be your home. We are a married couple living on a property with our DOGS, HORSES and some elderly but treasured chickens. Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs. There are stunning views looking out over a Devon Wildlife Nature Reserve and beautiful countryside. We live in a very attractive rural area of Devon on the outskirts of a beautiful old village called DOLTON (please look on "Google Earth") about a 45 minute drive from Dartmoor National Park. The village has a very friendly and active community, a church, 2 excellent traditional pubs, a post office and a small shop AND ex...

Need someone for May for 4 to 6 weeks West Coast Canada Experience Purpose built oceanfront B&B with 3 private self-contained studio suites on the 2nd floor of our home which is on the first floor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. If you have a valid drivers license, and are staying for at least 2 months you may use one of our cars. This requires a discussion, and is on a case by case basis. Cleaning rooms to our 5 star standard is the primary work. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

Hello travelers, my name is Abidine Al-Boudani. I live with my family in a small town called Tagounite in the southeast of Morocco. Our family only settled during the middle of the last century, originally we descend from nomads, but have made a home in the Daraa Valley now. In walking distance to our house we have an organic farm, a 50 year old heritage from when my grandfathers settled down here. The farm is a beautiful place for anyone - be it people coming by themselves, friends, couples, families, pets - to spend an enjoyable time, connecting with the nature of the desert. ~ACCOMODATION~ Volunteers with tents can pitch them in the garden. Some families who come with a motorhome, truck and vehicles have the option to park right next to it. Currently an insulated tent is being constructed next to the garden house, which is also in progress. This accommodation will offer a more quiet environment than the family house, but comes with no bathroom yet at this point. If people need ...

We welcome volunteers in our countryside home in Sicily where they can be part of a community of travellers and make a difference in the lives of the dogs in our care - by helping to clean their enclosures, give them food and water, take them on walks, and provide as much individualized attention as possible. Our NGO, with the help of a passionate community of volunteers, strives to cure and find loving homes for the many strays in our area. Activities: We ask for help in taking care of the dogs in our shelter - clean their enclosures, give them food and water, take them on walks, and play and cuddle with them. We might also need help with general maintenance on the property and enclosures at times and with general housekeeping activities. The occasional general maintenance would include tasks such as mending fences and maintaining dog enclosures. We might also ask for help with yard work. Picking up branches, clearing brush and debris, etc. We welcome any talent you may have to offer...

We are looking for someone to come in May. We can offer generously sized guest rooms, food, amenities and a good social and cultural experience. We will be working on a number of simple carpentry jobs and traditional building restorations. About us: We decided to quit the rat-race in London a few years ago and make our escape to the Portuguese countryside and work remotely! Sharlit is French, works as a Voice Over artist from our home studio, and Charlie is a British garden designer growing his knowledge of fruit bearing plants on our land here in Northern Portugal. We have opened up the space to accommodate other remote workers and travelling creatives, whilst learning Portuguese, counting on our very friendly neighbours to share their culture and knowledge of the land, and caring for our newest addition to the family, little Cobie, born in August 2023! Our home is nestled in a valley 30 mins away from Porto and our land backs up onto a beautiful waterfall! (makes for lovely water s...

Summer is here and apart from our gorgeous beaches nearby the farm is looking grand and growing. Oamaru, our nearby town is fun and quirky and home to a lot of artists and alternatively thinking people. The farmers market is a grand place to go and feel out the vibe and we can tell you where to view the little blue penguins free of charge. Oh so cute! We are passionate about growing and processing our own food, we love bugs and bees and all our animals and our wonderful community. Soil health and biodiversity are key players for us. We love hearing new ideas and sharing our successes...and failures :) We are a NZ/German family of five (kids aged 10, 13 and 14) who love to travel and love meeting travellers from all over the world. We used to live on a sailing boat when the kids were smaller and sailed to many tropical islands, exploring reefs, tribal life and off grid living. Now we have swapped that life for one on the land, aiming to regenerate our little farm by introducing more ...

Depending on the time of year, we also run a small scale rescue and rehabilitation centre for hedgehogs.

Hello, and thank you for looking at our page/profile! We are looking for a helper (1 person) during springtime ( 2026 ) for a 2 week period but that can be further negotiated. Work will be starting in April and continue through the summer and fall. We would like help inside and outside and with plenty of gardening and watering of the garden. Outdoor work includes keeping the gardens tidy, cutting and trimming of trees and mowing the lawn. Also the helper must be able to lift and haul fireplace wood and (ideally) know the use of a chain saw but not necessary. All of this work we do together.

My name is Esperanza, I run a language school. I'm looking for an easy going native English speaker to help us with conversation classes and different activities. It is a great educational project where we aim to develop students interest in the language in a natural way. We live in a nice area surrounded by mountains, our house is big , so we recently started an online rental program to meet new people from all over the world. The language school is 8 minutes away on foot from our house. I live with my son, Mikel, who is a university student. While you stay with us, you will be able to take part in lots of activities. Zalla is a town with lots of facilities where you can do nearly everything you can imagine. If you are interested in learning Spanish, we will be more than happy to help you! We live 20 minutes from Bilbao in a lovely town called Zalla. There is a good bus/train service to Bilbao. Volunteers also can visit, Santander, San Sebastian, Burgos, Pamplona either of these ci...
