My partner and i are a retired Kiwi couple. We live in a lovely two storey home, overlooking the sea, the sunsets every evening are spectacular. We live in Thames, which is the start of the beautiful Coromandel peninsular. We would like help with painting preparation, renovation, gardening. We ask for 4 hours work per day per person in exchange for food and accommodation, for a minimum of 3 nights There is much to do on the Coromandel peninsular, lots of lovely beaches, including Hotwater Beach, Hahei. We recommend that you have your own transport to explore the area thoroughly. You would have your own bedroom, shower and toilet and share our large kitchen. We love meeting people from other countries. We had a backpackers for many years where hosted many people from oversea.

We are a farm in Nepal growing avocados, focused on promoting sustainable agriculture, organic practices, and eco-friendly farming methods. Our project is in the development phase, and we are looking for volunteers who are interested in learning about avocado cultivation and eco-farming. 🌿 About Our Farm This is a young avocado project, where we currently care for growing trees, manage nursery plants, improve soil health, and build long-term sustainable systems. We believe in clean farming, proper training, and creating a positive environment for everyone involved.

Here we live in an ancient school in the mountains of north Ardeche (1350m) ! My name is Etienne (33years old) and i live there since two years with Lena (25years old) who joined me six months ago and with Maelvin since few months. it's a pretty remote place (closest supermarket is 30 min driving) but there is often people passing by (friends, neighbor, unkowns...). Most of the place is in a good state but there is still some work to do(paintings, coating, roof fixing, insulation...), so we would need a little help for the place to be able to welcome more people, and make our daily life better. The amout of work needed from helpers would be pretty low (around one or two hours a day), We want a little help but we want at first sharing our life with new people and have a good time. We dont have so much money and we try to repair the School with less euros as possible, with second use materials and with exchanging with people, that why we ask a little help for paying food (10euro...

Hi everyone. My name's Claud I'm a beekeeper and a horse trainer I live on a small island south of Greece called Kythira. The island is full of beautiful beaches and green small forests. I owe nearly 100 beehives and I need help maintaining the equipment and taking care of them. I also help a friend ride and train and take care of his horses. I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

My name is Thierry, I have been working most of my life as a chef in hotels. Now I live alone with my swiss sheaperd '' Willow''. I have an artistic vision of the world and like to play music, more specifically harmonica and trumpet. I also have an old "Gaveau" piano, and guitars for musicians. I am the new owner of a beautiful property that I intend to turn into a guesthouse in the south-west of France. It is surrounded by a very big garden with many plants and fruit trees, as well as a swimming pool. The house is located between the beautiful villages of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Bruniquel and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and close to Vaour, where a music festival is held every August. The Aveyron Gorges are not far away either, and offer many outdoor activities (swimming, mountain biking, hiking). I need help with gardening (weeding, trimming hedges and clearing the surrounding trees). I also want to arrange my new house and get it ready to welcome my first guests. In order to do that I need...

I'm Thanasis, a 45 years old greek man living in the South of the Peloponnes. I'm a farmer, with oranges trees and some olive trees. I also have a shop, mainly selling coffee that I roast on site. I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. I really like to meet new people and introduce them to Greece history. I practice karaté (three times per week) and would be happy t...

Offering comfortable accommodation in a natural environment in exchange for general help with mainly outdoor projects - tell us your skills and interests and we'll probably have a project to match! Looking for help year round, happy to offer one to two weeks at a time with longer stays possible after we've got to know each other a little. Your own vehicle is essential as we do not have any public transport routes available. Us: We are a relaxed couple who enjoy the quiet life - Al is retired and spends most days pottering - always plenty of jobs around the place; and Vicki works 3 days/week from home, when she's away from her desk you'll most likely find her in the veggie garden or the kitchen. We enjoy lots of "homesteading" activities including breadmaking and preserving, herbal medicine, soap making and general crafts. Al is trying to learn the didgeridoo and hoping to have more time for painting and drawing and Vicki enjoys travel and garden planning and a good book. We bot...

One spare bedroom with comfortable double bed in house in St Peters. Walk to Sydney Park and funky old King Street. Convenient to trains, buses and airport. Household is myself, one housemate, friends staying over from time to time, & it is a lesbian & gay friendly household. I am happy to host a single or couple who can do general housework, gardening and landscaping, & some simple construction & repair work. Right now I am looking for Helpers who can arrive before 23rd Decemeber for work in the backyard and garden = re-potting plants, weeding, restoring vegetable garden and maintenance of wooden verandah. Regards indoor work it is the usual vacuuming and cleaning surfaces. Regards meals, I will supply food but you need to be able to cook for yourself as I am not a cook. I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting many HelpXers at various times over the last several years, with Helpers generally staying ~10 days to 3 weeks. I am easy-going & flexible (so its good if you are too) .

Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, biking & hiking at our waterfront B&B. You'll have your own private room. Limited gardening, yard work, helping around the B&B with all aspects of running a home-based business. Must be physically fit to do this. We need two people travelling together who want to visit us for about a week in mid-December.. We are a busy and active couple in our 70s needing some help on our medium-sized suburban land on the north-east fringe of Melbourne. Rain over the past couple of months has caused way too much grass to spring up where it shouldn't be. So, our need is for people who can help us with lots of weeding and, to break it up a bit, some rabbit-proofing. We need people who are comfortable working without supervision, after some initial instructions. The arrangement is to work for about 4 hours a day but we can be flexible with how this happens. In exchange, we will provide food (self-serve breakfast & lunch), evening meals most nights, or food of your choice to cook if we are not home. You will have your own comfortable room and separate bathroom, a lounge room with TV, and unlimited WiFi. We have a tennis court, a billiard/snooker/pool table, table football, and board games, which you are wel...

We have a 100 acre horse farm in Port Hope, Ontario, about an hour east of Toronto. Beautifully scenic property with 2 ponds and numerous trails for riding or walking. We have 16 horses, 6 are our own, the others are boarded that we care for. We have 5 dogs, 4 goats 3 cats and chickens. Work includes twice daily chores and general farm maintenance. Accommodation is a private bedroom in walk out basement. Helpers are invited to ride if they like. Can teach someone to ride if interested . Very well behaved horses. We are close enough to Toronto that can be easily accessed by train to enjoy the most multicultural city in North America. The are plenty of things to also do here in Northumberland County. No smokers thank you.

Hello everyone! My name is Bird, I was working in Chiang-Mai as a photographer for 2 years then decided to become a farmer and create a Thai traditional agriculture permaculture farm in 2018. I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature. I also have four water buffalo on our farm, named Tony, Laura, Hanna and Charlie. We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth. Our farm is located in Pua city, 70km north of Nan province surrounded by the mountains and rice fields, in Northern Thailand. The farm is set on 1.5 acres of land with vegetable gardens, rice paddies, farm stay and pizza restaurant. Currently, we have done with natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts, fences, and wooden houses. “Life is better with a Buffalo” is our farm goal and “Happiness only real when shared “ is our motto. Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

Kia Ora. I run an Angora goat farm just outside Oxford in North Canterbury. I have 180 very cute goats which I shear for fibre twice per year. I also run smaller numbers of sheep. I farm in a sustainable way and have been trialling some regenerative agricultural practices. I am a keen outdoors person, love walking and climbing and often take helpers tramping, sightseeing, rock climbing or even rafting! I am looking for helpers from late December 2025 onwards and through into January 2026. Jobs include farm work, gardening, housekeeping, servicing and cleaning my AirBnB and learning about our farming systems. You would have your own room and receive all your food in return for 4-5 hours work per day. Those are the typical Helpx conditions. There are usually other Helpxers at the farm and we work, eat and live as a family, sharing housework and cooking tasks. I look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and providing them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors, and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect to answer all their questions, pose for pictures, and be invited...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. LOOKING FOR HELPERS NOW. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine record every year. Most of the wor...

We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We are a couple from Austria and we live since january 2014 in the middle of the Swedish nature together with around 25 Alaskan Huskies. Our farm is in the middle of now-where at the beginning of Swedish Lapland and you can expect a lot of nature, lakes, woods and a lot of wild animals like bears, lynx, moose, reindeers and many different kind of birds. You can help us with training and feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels. In wintertime there is also help needed with snow shoveling. You should speak german or have at least B1 with your english skills and you should also be able to work sometimes alone. There is plenty of spare time, to explore the nature and the surrounding. You should be at least 18 years old, a teamplayer, love to be outside, it is not necessary that you have knowledge about dogs or in special about sleddogs. You will get all the information from us. What we offer is accommodation in a cabin with bathroom and toilet. And you will get groceries which you can ...

There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina.

We are a working farm and holiday park above Monkstone beach and within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There is a small young team here full time. We are looking for one or two people to help on the farm and park. You will be required to do a variety of jobs including working with the team, helping with farm work especially lambing, helping with feeding animals, gardening, cleaning and D.I.Y. Overall you need to be enthusiastic, motivated and use your initiative. We will provide everything so you will be happy and can enjoy your time here. Its a great place!!! Visiting Pembrokeshire and in particular staying here would suit people who enjoy the outdoors, nature, hiking, water sports etc. There is so much to do in the surrounding area.

This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots of tracks to walk and a creek to swim in, There is a hammock i...

Please contact by HelpX if you have skills in the following: Painting and Decorating: we are nearly finished repainting our house inside, so experience preparing (cleaning, sanding, patching) walls and doors would be awesome, as we are about to sell and move south.. Gardening - weeding and pruning. Housekeeping: general cleaning, washing walls, cleaning inside cupboards. A good cleaner with an eye for detail is always welcome. Helpers must be able to work without supervision at times and be careful about keeping doors closed so our cat stasy inside - we have an indoor cat who's missing her former companion who recently died and is now trying to escape, and an outdoor dog. We are a couple in our 50's.We are 6km from city centre on half-acre (2000mm2) of gently sloping land that backs onto a creek & bush - very quiet & private. Spare room in house with queen-sized bed. Two hours per day per person work, in exchange for accommodation and prepare your own meals in our kitchen , or 4 hour...
