🌿 Help Wanted: Gardening & Good Times in a Mountain Paradise Hello dear friends! Would you or a couple like to spend time in a beautiful, nature-protected area starting mid Mai! We're looking for helping hands to bring the garden back into shape, start growing vegetables, and simply enjoy a wonderful time in the mountains. The gardening season is changing from winter to spring and summer, and there's so much to do, prepare, and enjoy before autumn and winter arrive. 🐱 About the place Our lovely old farmhouse (over 200 years old!) is located in a nature-protected area in the canton of St. Gallen, about 900m above sea level.
It comes with two adorable cats: Mosquito and Findusina (adopted, she's the happy, smiley one and very talky). The altitude gives us a nice breeze in summer – you stay cool while the valleys get hot.
The house is open to all backgrounds and cultures. I personally love contributing to a global community of vegan/vegetarian and conservation awareness – sharing know...

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

Hello, We are Jen and David and our tropical home and garden needs some work, we have had a few years without helpx. We live walking distance to the beach and nature reserve in a quiet suburb. We are currently looking for a couple with practical experience. It usually works for us that your stay is around 7 - 10 days but this depends on the helper and how it goes for everyone and any advance bookings we may have. Currently needing help with cleaning, gardening, maintenance and painting. Let us know if you have anything else to offer, as we may be able to use your skills. Mealtimes, sharing the day's news, and hearing your travel and life stories are highlights of our Helpx experience. We would like you to also help cook the evening meal, we all take that in turns. We have a well-provisioned kitchen. My parents live next door and often join us for a meal. We may also ask you to help at my parents' house. You must like dogs as we have 2 dogs and three chickens. Our home is within walking...

Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started. Bretagne is a nice place full of culture, traditions, nice villages, forest and legends and history, and surrounded by the sea. After being helpers ourselves, we now want to be hosts too. We loved it so we expect people love it here too. Our kids are homeschooling with mainly their mother and we would be happy to have Eng...

Hello. We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you! Here in the high Pyrenees, near the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them). We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world. In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas... For your own, you get an entire and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 people, single or couple), and join us for generous meals, mostly with local products, that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requir...

We open in April until October, having sport and music-camps, theater groups and hikers (only close groups). We need help in the kitchen, setting tables and cleaning rooms. The extent would be about 3-4 hours every day in return to food and accommodation . The minimum stay should be two weeks. Looking for experienced volunteers. We only write back to volunteers who have a complete profile preferably with reviews. I need some help to renovate an old cottage (build in 1880): painting walls and ceilings; working with roof pans and mortar (from inside), help in the garden. Other families in my little village (100 persons) will ask also for help by you. I offer of course accomodation and food - but I am a lousy cook!!. Inside the house is still something like a construction site, so accomodation is a little bit primitiv.

Hello from the beautiful Dandenong Ranges! I am a self-employed ARTIST in a very colourful home. I have 1 dog, 5 goats and 3 lovely human housemates. EXPECTATIONS Enthusiastic, trustworthy English-speaking helpers who enjoy a laugh, are practical and can work INDEPENDENTLY. There are several varied DIY projects on the go. Most of the work is outside, you need to be physically fit and prepared for manual labour. I look forward to hearing from travellers who can help with limited instructions, unsupervised and have a passion for gardening, fence repair, building and DIY projects. Do you know how to use a drill, a drop saw, a sander and an angle grinder? Garden maintenance duties include but not limited to: use a whipper snipper to tidy garden edges; rake leaves; hand weed, digging, collecting fallen branches and sticks off the ground. Gather fire wood, cut and stack. Help burn garden waste. Plant new or potted plants, spread mulch on garden beds. Helping around the house and other od...

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. After a little break from hosting we're looking for helpers for April - October 2026. We are Cathy (47) and Leo (who is 14 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. We are semi-off-grid and at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfortable with untidiness and disorder. However, despite this you will have fun, be well fed and happy. The gardens and surrounding countryside are beautiful and peaceful, so escaping the crazines...

LOOKING FOR HELP FROM 15 APRIL FOR APPROX 1 WEEK. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine record eve...

My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station. I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer I have lived here all my life and can introduce you...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . I have an opening for a volunteer person to help me with everyday life of looking after animals and some gardening, weeding & basic maintenance of the farm and some house duties in COLLINSVILLE north Qld. I can only accommodate one person. This is a great opportunity to get away from the city life and enjoy some country living. I have cats horses and chooks. There will be horse riding/training that you can help me with , I do western ranch & trail training, so I prefer someone that has riding experience 😀🐎 Meals and accommodation wifi are supplied. Accommodation is a little caravan close by the house, which has a mini art gallery. ( if you like painting or doing craft we can do some painting ) Prefer 1 month stay, but shorter stays like 2 weeks are ok too. Cat and land caretaking on Vis island, Croatia CURRENT STATUS (as of 9 April, 2026): Help is needed for July 2026, then June 2027 and beyond. One month minimum, three months or more preferred. There's also one tent camping spot left for this year's maintenance month (June), and there will probably be a two-week period in February 2027 available in the tiny house, dates to be determined. Starting this year, every June will be maintenance month. I'll need a small team of 3-6 people for that month only. This year, the work will be removing debris from the land, as well as land and path maintenance. In the future, it will probably just be land and path maintenance, unless we have a building project. The team leader(s) will sleep in the tiny house, and other team members will sleep in tents. The tiny house kitchen will be shared by all. Love hiking, camping, gardening and cats? This might be for you. LGBTQ+ fam welcome! Food is not included, and there's no running water. Mandatory gear: ...

Accommodation - Private room with Bathroom - Affordable meals available nearby. There are many different tasks that the volunteers can try out and I'm eager to explain how it is don...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one rough headed ,skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. There is a mountain on my farm with lots...

In fact we really like longer stays.....Accom is in a self contained caravan near the house, with all food supplied and sharing some meals with the family, in return for working each morning with us..

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys. ...!! With only the help of real hard working wwoofer's/ HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 26 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked hard, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! As I am now in my late winter years , instead of my helpers assisting me , I assist my helpers LOL , usually in the morning and than we try to cook a meal . I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music...and of course "grumpy" me and please understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, I love music and most of the time there is music in the house. This is a Privat...

I would be very happy to welcome volunteer teachers who are willing to help at my school for two or three months, or even for a full semester. *I want the volunteers who work at my school to not feel like they are working. Instead, I want them to feel that they are enjoying themselves and having a holiday while staying with us. Their room is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot showers, and a spacious private room that is separate from the main house, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.* My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities ...

We live on 2 acres of bush with ocean views, seven km from the centre of Airlie Beach. We are close to a local bus stop so a car and license is not essential. We are a family of four (kids aged 8 and 10) with ten free range chickens, one rooster and lots of fruit trees and a vegetable garden. We are looking for a friendly, reliable individual or couple to join our family and assist with household tasks in exchange for accommodation and food (four hours of daily duties). Your space is a new self-contained guest room on the first floor of our home. The room has a small kitchenette, a bathroom, a queen bed plus a single bed/day bed. You are also free to use our family swimming pool, fire pit area and balcony with sea views. In terms of responsibilities, we would need help with general house tasks like cleaning, washing, and light cooking, as well as gardening and helping with the kids. Ryan is a qualified carpenter, and we have built our own house ourselves. We are up to some finishing p...

Just a peaceful place that needs some t.l.c. every once and a while, like gardening, creating and cleaning, cooking depending on the weather. Were a couple and we love to hear about what's happening in the world, from different perspectives.. Were not traveling at present, so this is the next best thing.... having someone in a tiny home, helping, sharing and learning. . .. I love dancing, music, and arts which is included in our home environment. Riding motor bikes, or a little game of table tennis, creating trails, riding on the bicycle trails, hiking, swimming, & watching sun sets. Never boring around here for me, I am in the process of becoming more self sufficient, planted many trees. Created gardens, wanting someone who loves being in nature, needs/wants growing time on there own. I want a caretaker of the land. Also sharing together, I'm going to school this coming year for Feldenkrais (ATM) so I want some one who wants to explore in the back yard of dirt. The more alive our...

Hello! We are a Spanish-German couple, about 50 years old carrying a youth hostel in a small village near the Pyrenees. We open in April until October, having sport and music-camps, theater groups and hikers (only close groups). We need help in the kitchen, setting tables and cleaning rooms. The extent would be about 3-4 hours every day in return to food and accommodation . The small village (Graus) offers lots of possibilities.: hike, rafting, canoeing, climbing, swimming in lakes and natural rivers and also cultural events like concerts, theater, monuments, old churches, etc... its optimal if you want to learn or practice Spanish. we also speak English and German. The minimum stay should be two weeks. Looking for experienced volunteers. We only write back to volunteers who have a complete profile preferably with reviews. Please note we cook Spanish food mostly also with meat, always there is some veggies and salad apart. We have 2-3 Rooms available for Helpers, depending of th...

We would love to host anyone who likes to help with outdoor work, gardening, cleaning, cooking.

We live rural near a town called Warkworth, 40 minutes drive ( by car ) north of Auckland. We are: Jasmine and Sharyn. Jasmine is an artist and board game designer and Sharyn is a dog groomer and her business is a separate dwelling on the property. When Jasmine is free and feeling okay she may show you some boardgames or even go on nature adventures, art galleries and even EDM or Hiphop music gigs if keen :) If you have interest in the board game design process she is happy to involve you including playtesting designs she is working on. Sometimes Sharyn also shares her game designs as well. Our property is a rural lifestyle property. Our home is a modern blue bungelow and has an indoor jungle.

We are a couple with grown up Children who sometimes live here too. We live on 120 acres deep in the jarrah forest, very quiet and peaceful. We have market garden as well as run cattle and lots of pets.. goats, horses, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats.. the list goes on. We welcome people to share our farm life and participate in daily work... help required is varied and depends on your skills: but is mostly outdoors gardening, picking rhubarb, weeding, helping with general farm maintenance etc. ..There are plenty of opportunities to walk in the forest, swim or maybe work out in our home gym .....Stay is for a week initially and we are happy to negotiate longer stays if we all get along.
