This is where you come when you’re finished with the norm and its systems. Thinking outside the box and voluntary simplicity inform my life. There is joy in the cycles of life. There are lambs and baby rabbits. The kale and chard are blooming to reseed. Spring is blooming and the tree frogs are singing. Im planning on creating a new chicken house this year. If you’re capable with a hammer and saw, have I got stuff for you to do 😎 im not looking for a professional carpenter. This is git er dun, use what you have type building. People wanting to learn gardening and food ways are always welcome- carpentry skills UN nescessary. I live off-grid in a 240 sq ft hand built caravan. I am practicing sustainability thru permaculture. my farm garden is beyond organic, relying on natures synergy. It is my dream to be fully self sufficient in food and herbs. also in the dream-works are an outdoor summer kitchen, a solar oven, a solar water heater for the caravan, more food forest which includes...

Open for helpers from mid February until mid December. Not outside this period. Small farm without any farming since the land is rented out, but the forest is maintained by me. Also have a vegetable garden and berry bushes and lots of machines like tractors, ATV, snowmobile etc. I have 2 sons that are visiting regularly. We hooe you can join us later this month. We have space for you from May 20th.😊 We live in a warm, modern home just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Cork city, right beside the beautiful Lough and only a couple of minutes from University College Cork (UCC). Our location is ideal for exploring both the city and the scenic countryside of County Cork. I’m a language teacher and would be happy to help you improve your English through conversation and daily life. We are a bilingual English- French family. Living in Ireland, the kids are far stronger at English so you will get to practice lots of English with us. Still, we'd love a native french speaker who would enjoy reading French books with our kids on occasion. We’re a friendly family with three children: a 10-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old boy. I’m passionate about health and always trying to encourage the kids to eat well. We enjoy baking, spending time outdoors and learning about new cultures. We also have ...

Hello helpers travellers We live in the French Alps, in Maurienne, in a ski resort : Les Sybelles. We are a couple of 40 yo, with a super sportive dog, Loulou. We're looking for helpers from May to October. We live close to Le Corbier in a little wooden chalet, almost lost in the forest, accessible by walking (20 min) or by quad. It is at 1500m altitude. Easier if you have your own car to travel around but all good if you don't. The Corbier is accessible by a walk. We can come to pick you up in St Jean de Maurienne, the nearest town. Hitch hiking works well. It's a wooden chalet, that we're restoring and it will be our main home for now and near future. It relies on solar panel and spring source. We're tend to be self sustainable and autonomous. We have 3 hen for their eggs. We do a lot of our own things, like preserves vegetable, lacto-fermentation, our own tomato sauce and ratatouille for all year round, our own compote... any ideas or things you could eventually teach us to pr...

A room is available for your homestay. Because of the help I would like to ask, mature ladies who have enough experience/knowledge of handling house holding chores and cooking are welcome. No problem if you cannot cook Japanese dishes. Vegetarian is welcome only from summer to autumn. It's easy to talk about next step of your homestay if how long from when, how you can help, what you want to do during homestay in addition to help works are written in your request. I will reply to only applicants who read my profile and understand/satisfy requirements. I'm a 67 years old male living alone and have a small private organic vegetable garden. I am happy if someone can help me to maintain vegetable garden and household chores including cooking. I also can enjoy helping my guest to learn Japanese language. We can visit at sightseeing places/aesthetic landscape when we have free time. At the same time, I'm interested to hear your stories about helpx and learn foreign languages as well ...

We run a small theatre company and during the summer months a unique wagon hotel in Abbekås at the south coast of Sweden. The house is an old school with a theatre, restaurant and a gallery. Fourteen years ago we renovated the house and turned it also into a small hotel, Hotell Vagabond, where visitors live in genuine Gypsy Wagons. In July and August we need help with running our hotel. This basically means cleaning and preparing the wagons in the morning and help as a waiter in our small restaurant some of the evenings. Occasionally we also have some cultural events during this period and need some help also with this. This is a quite fun places to be at and if you are an open minded person the chances are good you'll have a great time here. We have a dog, Dusty, so it's good if you like animals – as well as people...!

My home stay is part of Mia Mia community housing co-operative where we have a 2 acres of wonderful organic garden, located in beautiful Denmark. Because we are on the south coast we are close to several magnificent beaches, where surfing is available and we have forests of Kari trees and the Bibblumun track for bush walking. There is a lot of natural beauty here and much to see. We grow our veggies and fruit organically an we have a small orchid and 2 chook runs. We love having travellers and those who come always enjoy themselves. My own property is in need of some gardening help and some landscaping. Inside my house I have a comfy room available for one or two people, free Wifi connection and hearty food for breaky or dinner. I make a mean curry! I could use some domestic help inside my home because I'm usually pretty busy.

We operate a retreat centre, hosting yoga, art, creative writing, hiking, cooking etc. retreats. Each week we have new groups of 12-20 people coming to stay. We are looking for people to provide kitchen help from March until November. The work consists primarily of preparing and serving tables, cleaning the kitchen and supporting the chef (e.g. chopping vegetables). During the winter we offer a possibility for one or two people to stay and help with garden work and maintenance. For most of this time we are closed to the public, so it is very quiet and not well-suited to someone looking for lots of company. Unlike the spring and autumn seasons, you will need to prepare your own meals. Helpers are expected to provide 30 hours per week, in return for board and accommodation - usually 5 hours per day and one day free each week. This can work well either for people traveling on their own or for two friends traveling together. Preferred stay, minimum 3 weeks. NEXT AVAILABILITY: FROM ...

We are a couple who have bought a piece of land with a house in Mallorca, and we need a hand to help us to renovate the house and take care of the garden. Andrada is just coming at weekends, but I am working there full time. The big value we expect from the volunteers is the company, due to Andrada only staying here at weekends, during the week I am alone, and to share a time with people is a big help. Also, we are people that in the past travel a lot, and we miss the cultural exchange. For daily task here are some examples, help with construction tasks, such as making cement, painting, gardening or cleaning.

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help 4 public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are looking for volunteers to teach English only. Couples are welcome as well. NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for staying with us.

We are both retired and live in a converted barn in about two acres of land. The nearest town is Villefranche de Rouergue which is ten kilometres away. We have lived in France long enough to appreciate what we call proper food so. we strive to vary the diet so that no main meal is repeated for at least 14 days (unless specially requested) It may be French, it may be British, or it may be a mixture of French and British and on occasions you will taste the local delicacies We are very flexible about working hours all we ask is that in return for five hours work per day, five days a week, at a time to suit yourself, we will provide you with good healthy tasty food and a private comfortable room which has TV and en-suite facilities, If you are a couple who wish complete privacy, we could provide you with a separate self-contained apartment. Must be non-smoker and we find that feeding vegans is difficult. Please note. If you want to practice your English, then we are your ideal hosts a...

Hi! 😊 I’m looking for a friendly volunteer to join me in Sweden and help out with a few home-and-life projects — while also having an amazing Scandinavian adventure. 🌿 Where you could stay (3 options!) Depending on when you arrive, there are three possible locations: 1) My countryside villa in the Stockholm archipelago (Vaxholm area) This is the main place — surrounded by nature and water, and only 45–60 minutes by bus from Stockholm city. Even better: you can take a boat straight into central Stockholm in about 75 minutes — it’s one of the most beautiful trips you can do, island-hopping through the archipelago. 2) My apartment in central Stockholm Perfect if you want city life, cafés, museums, and nightlife nearby. 3) My house in northern Sweden — “The High Coast” This area is stunning and wild. In the right season you can often see the Aurora Borealis, and in winter there’s great skiing. ☀️ Summer life is seriously good here In summer, you can enjoy free swimming, canoeing, ...

We're happy to share our life with people who wants to do new experience helping in our farm. We are supporters of organic agriculture since 1996 and we need your help to keep on in it . Vietri di Potenza is a very small village in Basilicata quiet and far from any kind of pollution. No tourism here but not far from Naples (Costiera Amalfitana) and Matera (European Capital of Culture 2019). You need one or two hours by car to visit the great places you can see in the Francis Coppola youtube video below. Francesco, my husband, and me look for help all year long especially during olive harvest on November, during July and August helping with "potatura estiva" (summer pruning olives trees) and our organic garden needs help to grow as well. We are professional tasters of Extravergine d’Oliva , Evoo, so we're happy to share this knowledge with our helpers. Everybody says that our home is big and comfortable. One room for volunteers and a bath to share. Good food. You’re welcome! Thank ...

Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months. I don't have fans or air conditioning so the temperature is what it is. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. Electricity has become too expensive for me to run appliances. I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich. My house is small and cluttered and surrounded by trees. I need help to clean my home as I am always busy doing other things or visiting my son interstate and the work is too much for me on my own. I haven't had a helper since last September so the place needs lots of cleaning. You have access to the kitchen and bathroom upstairs. There are a few outdoor sp...

It looks like we are full until at least June but you are still welcomed to make inquiries about future dates. We appreciate help with DIY construction, repairs and maintenance, timber work, boat work, metal work repairs to trailers and for help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing, and energizing our own water though Ionisation. Water conservation is part of life for me. You can come to Maryborough via plane, bus or train. The Hervey Bay Airport is only 30min from my home. There are meanwhile several bus companies to choose from. If you use the train please book Maryborough town from the drop down menu. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. PLEASE NOTE WELL: we absolutely cannot host anyone with any pre-existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions), such as hay fever, any other allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our do...

Hello and welcome to our profile :). If you are reading this and are interested in helping out right now - please do get in touch as we are looking for immediate help (May 2026). If you are not available until later on and would like to reserve a place with us please drop us a message and we will chat and try and save your preferred dates. Ideally, a minimum commitment of at least one month is necessary. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully appreciate all that is on offer in our beautiful area. In the past we have many volunteers who regretted not being able to stay longer. This is the beating heart of the Scottish West Highlands - take time to breathe and enjoy it. Katie and I own a small crofting home in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A reasonably good understanding of the English language is necessary. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with ...

The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you. We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in ...

This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. The shuttle bus from the train station in Maryborough west (20 min out of town) is free of charge if it is pre-booked.
