Everyone is so unique and each one of these people have been a wonderful contribution to our home and our lives. I live in an old farmhouse surrounded by greenery in Pommiers-en-Forez, a Clunisien site and a tiny village of about 500 residents located in the beautiful French countryside, 50 minutes from Lyon, not far from the Alps. I’m looking for non-smoking helpers who could assist me a few hours a day to finish renovating the farmhouse and set up my guesthouse (painting, light carpentry, etc). You’ll have your own room. This is for those of you who plan ahead. We are full until mid August, in the middle of our best fishing season, wind permitting. Its also during what is normally our best weather. At least some of the time we should be cutting great timber from unwanted trees using a 26 inch/56cm bandsaw. We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Hey, hello you ! We are Caro and Chris, Zion and Kiara. We were travelling around the world since a gorgeous time until all this virus craziness happened. Caro, then Chris & Caro were backpacking, doing hitchhiking, etc... The beautiful wildlife. Then kids arrived in 2017 and 2019 so we mainly stayed travelling in Europe by van until they will be able to carry a little backpack ;) When the virus arrived, we were crossing Sweden. Everything became complicated with borders, shops and people so we decided to enjoy the strange time to build our home. We bought an over 300 years old stone house on a big peace of land which were abandoned and this new adventure started.
