We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are a small organic olive farm, not yet in commercial production and animal refuge. We practice permaculture and the olives are part of a `forest garden` which also includes 200 cork oaks, carob and other trees and shrubs. We also have a vegetable garden and fruit trees . French Chateau under renovation in quiet rural location, close to local village. Hello, we are Cat and Silvan who is 6 years old. We live on an organic permaculture farm in the Pyrenees in the south of France. The property is situated in a small hamlet of 8 houses bordering a wild forest including chestnut, ash, oak, acacia and cherry. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables and collect hazelnuts, walnuts, mushrooms and wild herbs from the forest. I cut my own wood and much of the wood used in the construction has been harvested from my land. For the moment I have no domestic animals. My friends graze their horses during the summer months. Hello , I have a small natural guest house and have been running it with a mix of local crew and also helping travellers over the past few years which has been super fun so far :-) We are located just north from Hossegor surrounded by a beautiful Landes pine forest and close to some empty wild beaches. The surroundings are ideal for surfing, biking, hiking, running, yoga, fishing and many more outdoor activities. The guest house is a mix of huts, tipis, a larger dome & also more traditional rooming. From here it s about a 15minutes drive to downtown Hossegor and about 30min to Biarritz and 45min to the Spanish border. Regarding the helping traveling crew quite a few stay for a fairly long time in general. We run a well-known organic market garden in the Alpes Maritime, right on the Riviera coast and the Italian border. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and popular with tourists. Our garden is on mountain terraces above the town, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 to the old town. Access is easy by train or bus from Nice or Italy. For the next 5 months we are looking for hands-on and experienced support with a number of urgent tasks. We are looking for general help with the running of the house, garden, and forest, plus help with some of the renovations.
