Our olive hill farm is in Provence, 95 acres of Mediterranean olive groves and woodland. We also have a self-catering holiday Gite (an apartment) and we are only 24km from Mediterranean beaches on the Cote d Azur. We started to plant a small vineyard on the hills of Nice. So far we have planted on the terraces 0,5 hectare of local varieties: rolle, ugni blanc, grenache gris, cinsault, mourvedre. My piece of land is beautiful (full sun in the middle of a forest in Provence). I myself live in an own built autonomous and ecological tiny house since 6 years. Accomodation: Our farm is under remodeling so we may not have a room for you. However, you can park your van/campervan on the field. You’ll have access to power, bathroom and kitchen… We have a dog. Very friendly! Farm: We are the only farmer brewers in our region: we grow hops and barley… and of course we produce beer that we serve at our brewpub from April to October. We are a bicultural couple, Delphine is French and Maarten is Dutch. Our 2 daughters are currently running Europe studying! We live with 2 rescue dogs: one big and very easy going (a samoyede) ! and one small, very surprising and vocal (a X-yorkshire)! Because of the small one, you really need to be OK with dogs! Cultural exchanges have always been part of our lives. In her young age, Delphine used to be au-pair, we used to live in England, The Netherlands, Germany.
