I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 35 years. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for Autumn vineyard and maintenance work are available now, starting in April 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. We are easy commuting distance from Byron Bay and Nimbin.We can pick you up from Byron, Ballina,Lismore or surrounding areas....We offer your own private room within a modern newly built house with meals for gardening and general help. We have enjoyed being a host to many travelers over the years and enjoy showing off our beautiful part of the world. We always give plenty of free time to explore the area. From Brisbane the easiest way to get here is by bus where we can pick you up from the bus station or from Sydney there is bus, train or plane.

We have the pleasure of living on 350+ acres of natural bush country in Brooweena, Queensland. We have converted a bus to a tiny home, and we are currently building a shipping container home, this is a priority and would love people to help. We also grow a lot of our own food and have fruit trees. We are 100% off-grid with all our electricity from solar and tanks, dam, and rain for water. We have a friendly dog who loves to play. This is a permaculture designed garden. We have 120 species of bamboo. fruit trees ducks chickens and two dogs and lots of friendly wildlife and many useful plants. we are a wholesale bamboo nursery and also make one off bamboo creations. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. If you REALLY love dogs, cats and nature and cleaning, we have a place for ONE person from the last week of May. can do all the tasks needed to keep our dog and cat guests healthy and happy. This includes housekeeping, cleaning, feeding, laundry and dog washing. Your accommodation: you would share a modern two-bedroom home with our other helper (currently that’s Jordan from Germany). You would of course have dogs or cats sleeping on your bed too! This is a great experience for those who are fit and love dogs, cats, cleaning and organising and want to spend some time on a lovely property in a nice home full of dogs. SUNSHINE COAST - HINTERLAND Accommodation is a self-contained studio which includes kitchen, en-suite and wi-fi. We welcome guests, for one week, or longer if all goes well, to help with house and garden for 12 hours per week per guest. The help roster is Monday to Thursday - in summer from 6am to 9am and in winter 7am to 10am. Arrival is after 4pm and departure is before 11am. We offer accommodation and two dinners - usually Monday and Thursday. You provide your other meals. Your studio has a kitchen with stove, fridge, and cooking equipment. You will have lots of time to explore our beautiful surroundings and a car is necessary. Most beaches and National Parks are 20 to 30 mins away. This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive. Murrnong has a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mud brick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat.
