Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. We have hosted people from all around the world, including all over Europe, Asia, North and South America. The motel is a 5-minute drive from local amenities such as supermarkets, shops, pubs, and a skate park. From June to September there are plenty of winter activities including skiing, tobogganing, and snowboarding at nearby ski resorts, just 30 minutes away. In summer, there are plenty of hikes, mountain biking, fishing, as well as the beach at Jindabyne Lake, Blue Lake and we are 30 minutes from the tallest mountain in Australia- Mount Koscioscko. Yarrangobilly Caves and nearby thermal pools are about one hour away. Our beautiful site features a serene river, where you can go...

We are a semi retired couple living in Horse Camp near Gin Gin in Queensland looking for helpers (single or couple) to help around the property. Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. MINIMUM STAY TWO WEEKS! -TWO WEEKS MINIMUM STAY! As our aim is to maintain a mix of nationalities so that everyone has a chance to practice their English. We have up to 4 HelpXers at a time. They become like a large family, it is unnecessarily disruptive if people only want a short stay. We are very close (10 mins) to several great Newcastle beaches. We are NOT a farm; we are city. Interesting Homestay situation. Large 6 bedroom house in the Newcastle suburb of Garden Suburb. Close to the famous Newcastle beaches and Hunter Valley wineries. The beaches are in easy access only about 15 Minutes away. We usually have 3 /4 HelpX - plus my two of my four sons, Zac 25yrs and Asa 23yrs so there is always plenty going on. We are looking for people who want a working holiday in the beautiful Hunter region of NSW. There is so much variety of things to do that we can generally find a niche for most skill sets. whether it is cooking, gardening, cleaning, painting or carpentry. We hav...

HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. I've had many helpers come stay over the last few years and have been lucky to have so many interesting travellers stay.  My yacht, is currently on the hard at Whoota, where we are renovating her while helping with work on her. I often take helpers out sailing to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but this is not possible while she is being worked on. Yet, I hope to invite helpers out when she is back in the water. The house is located in Whoota, near Forster. It is surrounded by forest and located a 10 minute drive from pristine beaches, lakes, and bushwalks. There a lots of dolphins to see and beautiful areas to explore. The work we are doing on the house ...

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES Please do NOT request to come and stay with us IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HANDLING HORSES. If you do not state your horse handling/riding experience, then I know you have not read my profile. We are a family of 4 who live on a property in the hills situated approximately 40 mins drive from Perth C.B.D. We have many horses. All are thoroughbreds and used for playing Polo. At this time of year we need help (aprox. 4hrs daily) to help prepare the horses for the upcoming polo season. This includes yard maintenance, handling young horses, feeding, and working and possibly riding young horses. Later in the polo season, there may be a possibility of paid work for a some helpers who may wish to stay for a longer period of time. (We are NOT able to supply second year WHV). If you are a competent rider, it may be possible to go on bush rides where you will be able to see lots of native wildlife. We have a lot of fun and a lot of ...

We (Riley, Serene and Bood) enjoy living in harmony with nature and each other. This place is a beautiful property high in the hills above Cairns, that borders World Heritage rain forest wilderness on three sides, and enjoys breathtaking views over the Atherton Tableland. There are permanent creeks, waterfalls, rock pools (for swimming) and a very pleasant climate, without the high humidity that the coast can experience (in summer). That said it can get very wet in summer; our wet season. Abundant wildlife including tree kangaroos, possums, platypus, cassowary and hundreds of other bird species. The property practices holistic management, organics and permaculture principles. Work is mostly gardening, orchard and household duties. Most happy to utilise your unique skills and gifts, where possible. We like to take turns cooking meals, encourage food literacy (from garden to plate), and greater awareness of self-sufficiency. Accommodation for one or two helpers, in our beautiful ...

If you’re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

I am interested in hearing from suitable single female helpers that are able to stay around 3-4 weeks and can assist with care and maintenance of my sailing catamaran and home. My preference for female helpers is largely to do with the type of work you will perform and attention to detail that is required. When I have work that is better suited to males I will advertise as such….just not needed now. We will be departing Gladstone late January then cruise out to Great Keppel island and Lady Musgrave reef as weather permits. I have no schedule at present but there will be plenty of places to visit and or options to depart from. You will be an active, motivated person interested in marine life, reefs, turtles, fishing, snorkeling and the ocean as well as wanting to experience life on a comfortable sailing boat. I ask you to volunteer a few hours work each day in return for your own ensuite cabin with all meals provided while aboard. The work you will perform is mostly helping to keep...

Our home fits with the Cairns life in that it`s relaxed, easy-going and very welcoming. We are a self-employed couple living just 5 mins from the city looking for some help with our home. We are looking for helpers for general housekeeping and garden maintenance in exchange for accommodation. We are seeking helpers for garden cleanup, household cleaning and tidying for 2 - 3 hours work per day. You will live in a bedroom in our home, with a king sized bed. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. We hav...

We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (19) and Kinyin (16). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 20-25 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here! It is such an amazing time of year here in Summer - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! And the Fringe and Festival are soon to start! The hills are very beautiful. We are close to the city and a bus route but in the hills with koalas and kangaroos around... We have many projects on the go like woven fences from grape vines, drainage, pruning, path making, planting natives, building wicking beds, spring and summer planting, mulching, bush regen, painting and more. The hills are spectacular right now - gardening with a glorious view! We have been Wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here! We have ju...

Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally. I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me.

We are planting new crops, harvesting and weeding and pickling. We ask helpers to assist with tasks, Tuesdays to Saturdays with Sunday and Mondays off. We live in a beautiful old farmhouse built on 3 acres of rich red volcanic soil. We are a family of 4 (2 kids) creating an intensive food production farm that uses organic farming practices aimed at supplying the best quality food for the local community. We have a dog and cat Accomodation for the helper is for two in a guest room adjoining our house, with wifi, comfortable beds. hello, looking for some people, preferably longer than shorter term but open if you have some specific light maintenance skills. some of the helpx stay for long periods, even 6 months to 2 years, one of them. right now we are looking for people. need some chill, reliable people to help maintain the patios outside and keep the back gardens neat and basic small wood repair.. the place offers lots of flexibility of time. always a couple other helpx from around to exchange with. its very easy to learn things that need to be done. we require 15 hrs a week . you can help 5 days 3 hrs a day or you can help longer some days and take off some days to go to the beach. can also do shorter days shorter hours per day but then you do more days . ca switch with other helpx and then take a couple days off , but we must always agree to the exchange so it works for everyone. it usually does. we do have pools near around the neighborhood and we have always some wooden floored ro...

Please check our availability first and read all that we have written :) Well-established Permaculture property with orchard, garden and animal systems located ten minutes from Noosa and seven minutes from (famous) Eumundi Markets. (But public transport VERY poor in this area - see note below) so your own car is a big plus! Dave is a past Permaculture Teacher and therefore only interested in working with people keen to increase their knowledge of Permaculture systems/Self sufficiency. We are a laid-back but hard working couple who enjoy the "good life" in all its simplicity. We practice regenerative agriculture (using our chickens) and focus on cover crops as well as adding micro-organisms to our soil. We are looking for a single person or happy couple, with practical skills and a focus on wanting to grow their own food/becoming self-sufficient, to assist with gardening, recycling nutrients by pruning then chipping by Dave and spreading mulch, DIY tasks, brushcutting and improvemen...
