We are a Family of 3 located on a northern beach suburb 10 minutes out of the city of Cairns. We have a nature reserve at the back of our house with many Australian native animals including Wallabies, with beautiful walking tracks to the beach. The Humpback whale and mackeral season starts during July and we enjoy getting out and catching a feed of fish while watching the whales cruise by ..last season a couple of Wwoofers that stayed here awhile saw at least 50 whales over several trips during the winter ..some less then 10 metres from our boat.... From about late august we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden,plant nursery and farm/orchard....Gardening, carpentry,welding or physical labour skills are particularly helpful...
