I live between a yacht on Sydney Harbour and a house in a tall eucalyptus forest on the mid north coast of NSW, and need some assistance in working on the house and on another yacht.  I'm a carpenter who worked with National Parks and Wildlife for 25 years before retiring, and live with a small dog Billy. HELP WE NEED The help exchange is 20hrs a week. Usually 5 hrs a day, 4 days a week,. Mostly we need help with cleaning and gardening projects: weeding, planting, mulching, looking after the vegie garden and for those that can handle machines: ride on mowing and whipper snipping. We are a group of friends who decided three years ago to restore a beautiful old village/motel in Jindabyne. We are looking for like minded individuals who are passionate about restoration/building and maintenance, love nature and have a good nature and willing to share a laugh over some good food. The motel is a 5-minute drive from local amenities such as supermarkets, shops, pubs, and a skate park. We are looking for a couple to stay with us in October for a week or 2. We are happy to negotiate the length of time and exact dates. We are close to Brunswick Heads beach and Byron Bay. We live in a 4 bedroom home on 3000 sq metres with an extensive native garden. Accommodation for the helpers includes a double bedroom, small sitting/ media room and own bathroom. The house is open plan so common areas are shared with us (2 adults). We have a gourmet kitchen, air-conditioning and everything you need. You will need your own car. We are living on a 200 hectare farm in Rollands Plains. Located on the mid north coast, surrounded by hills and valleys, great for bushwalking and exploring if that's what you`re into. We are predominantly an arable farm growing a large amount of garlic. Seasonally, we also grow egg plant, rhubarb, ginger, turmeric, pumpkin, yukon, artichoke, cucumber and corn, and whatever else we can put in the ground. All of our grown produce is certified organic. We do not use any sprays or pesticides. We also keep livestock. A herd of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats as well as chickens, ducks and guinea fowl.
