We are living on a 200 hectare farm in Rollands Plains. Located on the mid north coast, surrounded by hills and valleys, great for bushwalking and exploring if that's what you`re into. We are predominantly an arable farm growing a large amount of garlic. Seasonally, we also grow egg plant, rhubarb, ginger, turmeric, pumpkin, yukon, artichoke, cucumber and corn, and whatever else we can put in the ground. All of our grown produce is certified organic. We do not use any sprays or pesticides. We also keep livestock. A herd of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats as well as chickens, ducks and guinea fowl. It's a spacious home with a solar system providing most of our power (in summer!), a large shed/workshop and a swimming pool. Another person will be moving here in the next few months. Our property is 33ha of native forest with two creeks located in subtropical NSW, 15 km from Lismore and 50 min from Byron Bay. Our focus is on enhancing the natural habitat for the abundant wildlife including wallabies, goannas, echidnas and birds. Varied tasks include assisting us with gardening, bush regeneration, maintaining bush tracks, general house and property maintenance. Hello, we are a family living in a large 3 level home in Reservoir, Melbourne with our 2 children Alistair (7) and Amon (2) and our cat Iggy. Rob is a learning designer and Meg works in the film industry, we have both done a fair bit of travelling through Asia and Europe. Our house has is a 5 min walk to the bus station and a 2.6km / 30 minute walk to the main train line which takes a 30 minute ride to Melbourne CBD, there are some shops nearby (convenient store, fish n chips, pizza place) with a larger shopping area inc supermarket and cafes about 4km away.
