It’s gorgeous here with a pristine creek at the door step, waterfalls and national park just up the road. I have a big old Queenslander house, which I moved to the land 30 years ago. My place is like a little community within the community- but we all have our private space! I need some HELP as i am moving back into my house after being away for a few years. This means sorting and unpacking boxes, moving some light furniture and helping me decide what to keep or give away. Beautiful Cabins set in 8 acres of tropical gardens with fruit trees and veggie garden. Short walk to secluded beach. River is only a bike ride away (Bikes available).Take a boat out on the river for some fishing, croc spotting or just relaxing. Waterfalls and creeks in the area to visit. Trip out to island or reef, when weather and time permit. Work is gardening, cleaning, or , odd jobs etc. Accommodation is self contained Cabin with own shower and toilet . . 4hrs work per day (flexible)in return for accommodation and food supplied including bike and boat usage, trips to creeks and reef where possible . We are looking for two helpers from now for a minimum of two weeks. The accommodation onsite is in our guesthouse area and fast internet is included in exchange for 2 hours of work per day, 6 days a week. This place is a former Monastery, which is now a farm and guesthouse on the Great Ocean Road. We have some lovely black alpacas, a big white fluffy dog and some gorgeous highland cattle. We can give you a very relaxing and spectacular place to live with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Our property is between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Only 15 minutes along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay. It is preferable to have your own car to get around in this area. The ocean and beach is across the road! We are looking for help with guest preparation and cleaning at our guesthouse, which sits in the middle of a farm. Top House - Bush forest retreat is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage at Wondecla, in a rural forested district near the Herberton Range Conservation Park, southern Atherton Tablelands. The western edge of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area boundary is a short walk or drive away. The cottage contains a fully functional kitchen, open area lounge/ dining room, 2 bedrooms (one double bed and one queen size bed, with all bedding provided), 1 bathroom, a composting (water free) toilet, and a laundry (shared with the main house). We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)
