We have availability from the 15th of December until the 2nd of January. We aare happy to take singles, couples or 2 friends. Any experience with building or tools is an advantage but not essential. We are planting new crops, harvesting and weeding. We live in a beautiful old farmhouse built on 3 acres of rich red volcanic soil. We are a family of 4 (2 kids) creating an intensive food production farm that uses organic farming practices aimed at supplying the best quality food for the local community. We have 120 species of bamboo. fruit trees ducks chickens and two dogs and lots of friendly wildlife and many useful plants. we are a wholesale bamboo nursery and also make one off bamboo creations. We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland.
