Hello! We live on a beautiful two and a half acre bush block, surrounded by tall trees and we are an easy 1km walk to lovely swimming beaches on the South Coast of NSW. We need help with our property maintenance - eg. weeding, raking, mowing, feeding the chooks, collecting the eggs, compost making etc If outdoor work is not your thing, or if it is raining and the weather not great, there are inside tasks I need a hand with like cleaning windows, general housework plus if you are a keen cook you are most welcome to take a turn! In the ten years we have been here, we have worked hard to establish a caged vege garden, some fruit trees, plus we breed chickens as egg layers. We live in the inner west suburb of Petersham in Sydney, close to public transport. We enjoy meeting travellers from around the world and also enjoy the help with cleaning, dog walking, sorting, painting & gardening. We offer a bedroom with queen bed and good food for 20 hours work a week, which can be done flexibly. And it’s fine if you want to work less hours & organise your own food. If you’re heading north, we have a place 20 minutes north-west of Taree where we’d like help with cleaning, painting, gardening etc but you’d need a car to get there. Hello, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. Top House - Bush forest retreat is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage at Wondecla, in a rural forested district near the Herberton Range Conservation Park, southern Atherton Tablelands. The western edge of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area boundary is a short walk or drive away. The cottage contains a fully functional kitchen, open area lounge/ dining room, 2 bedrooms (one double bed and one queen size bed, with all bedding provided), 1 bathroom, a composting (water free) toilet, and a laundry (shared with the main house). We have recently returned from a 5 week trip to Canada and are looking forward to getting back to work. David will be available to help, instruct & supervise. BANGALOW (NEAR BYRON BAY) We live on a farm near Bangalow which is about 15 minutes drive from Byron Bay in Northern NSW. We are looking for a couple / few friends to help with a variety of work on our property. The work varies and may involve painting, building, maintenance, working in the paddock, gardening, planting, fencing and general work around the house and farm. We have fully self contained, clean and comfortable accommodation in Bangalow. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, veranda, bathroom and laundry.
