Note to HelpX and travellers! We've been sabotaged by another Host nearby. Some of you might have received slandering messages about us which hold absolutely not truth. We've received multiple copies of these dreatful messages which the Police identified as untrue and so opened a deformation case against this Host. It's really low of character of a Host and quite childish for a Host to not only sabotage, asking Helpers to not join us, or joining her instead. It's even lower to write a warning on her Host profile about us. Truth is that we have done work for this Host, looked after her helpers for quite some time as the many 5 star reviews on her profile can show. We've fed her helpers while overseeing her renovation. We have never been paid. We took our losses and went on with our happy lives. We suggest that the badmouthing Host stops her spite, deletes the negative comments about us on her profile stops sending out defacing untrue comments to other Helpers and goes on with live. ...

We live in Maleny (Sunshine Coast Hinterland) -1 hour drive to Noosa, 1hr 10min to Brisbane airport. Maleny is a lovely green area in the hills surrounding the Sunshine Coast. The people in Maleny are very friendly retired, eco, artistic, farming and alternative types. Our house is walking distance to town. The town is cute with lovely unique shops, art galleries and grocery stores. There is a bus stop which can take you to Landsborough bus and train station where you can connect to go to the beach or Brisbane or anywhere else on the Sunshine Coast if you don't have your own transport. I would like some helpers to come and help us mostly with gardening/landscaping, cleaning, helping out around the house, babysitting & some small projects. I have a 7 year old son who has a wild imagination. He loves Lego, soccer, art & talking especially about anything on utube, brainrot or Minecraft. We have chickens. We have wifi. Hello! If you’re a solo traveler looking for a peaceful, safe, nature filled place to stay, we’d really love to hear from you. We currently have availability from Monday 15th March onwards. We pause hosting from December to February because the heat and humidity make outdoor work uncomfortable — focusing on the cooler months means your stay is far more enjoyable, relaxed, and productive. 🌱 Who We Are We’re Craig and Yvonne, easy going retirees in our late sixties who’ve built our dream life on a forested acreage (not a farm) overlooking Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We love welcoming curious, kind, nature loving helpers into our home and creating a safe, calm, and friendly environment — especially for solo travelers who appreciate comfort and respect. 🛠️ Your Role (Flexible & Supportive) We’d like you to help us in the mornings, five flexible half days a week, starting early, with tasks you can choose from, such as: • Gardening and caring for the property • Track building i...

Offering comfortable accommodation in a natural environment in exchange for general help with mainly outdoor projects - tell us your skills and interests and we'll probably have a project to match! Looking for help year round, happy to offer one to two weeks at a time with longer stays possible after we've got to know each other a little. Your own vehicle is essential as we do not have any public transport routes available. Us: We are a relaxed couple who enjoy the quiet life. Al is retired and spends most days doing odd jobs around the property and tackling larger projects from time to time. Vicki works 3 days/week from home, when she's away from her desk you'll most likely find her in the veggie garden or the kitchen. We enjoy lots of "homesteading" activities including breadmaking and preserving, herbal medicine, soap making and general crafts. Al is trying to learn the didgeridoo and hoping to have more time for painting and drawing and Vicki enjoys curling up with a good ...

It is such an amazing time of year here in (nearly) Spring - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! The hills are very beautiful. We are close to the city and a bus route but in the hills with koalas and kangaroos around... We have many projects on the go like woven fences from grape vines, drainage, pruning, path making, planting natives, building wicking beds, spring planting, mulching, bush regen, painting and more. The hills are very spectacular right now - gardening with a glorious view! We have been Wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here! We have just been featured in the Grassroots Magazine...

If you'd like to experience natural, simple living and see what it is like to start a life relying more on yourself than the consumer driven culture, and hear about the realities of "community living", then we may just be a match. We are a young family with four kids under 10, trying hard to transition into self sufficiency. We live off grid, on a bush block. It is a 15 minutes drive to town. A bus can be caught 2.4km away. Coonabarabran is Australia's astronomy capital. The observatory here allows space and planet enthusiasts to explore their interests. We produce our own goat's milk, eggs and have been enjoying tones of salad greens. Now its time for spring planting. My kids are homeschooled, don't eat or watch junk, not allowed tech devices, run and play with each other, help garden and clean up, my 5 year old chops wood, mills flour, my 8 year sews and weaves - and they love the lifestyle. If we watch a film, we discuss the subliminal messages. I spent summers in Russia on dac...

We are gradually improving the paddocks, fencing, water systems and general infrastructure, so there is always something happening and plenty to learn along the way. Hey everyone it's Coco. I have a farm property down here near Moruya at Congo, NSW. I have recently moved house and now live at my beach house, but still run the farm 2 km away. There is plenty to do as I am still getting organised at the beach house, so come and help. The house is across the road from the beach - swimming and surfing every day. On the farm there are a few cows and sheep, very friendly farm dog, an orchard and an organic garden to look after... and kangaroos. At the beach house i need help re-establishing my gardens, painting, general house maintenance. I am around heaps, but helpers need to be able to do stuff without supervision and know what you are doing. It's better if you have farm experience and a mature attitude. Things that I need help with specifically include: Farm related jobs Looking after the dog Check the cows Weed control Fencing checks House cleaning Lawns Washing Painting Meal preparation For your fun there are bikes, surfboards and plenty of ...

We.previously lived in Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast where we hosted many helpers through helpx with amazing reviews over a period of 17years.. Most never wanted to leave. We have now moved and bought an equally stunning property in Far North Queensland in a small country town (Cardwell) on 3 acres 10 minutes from beach. We are located between Cairns and Townsville and just south of Mission Beach. Terry and I are not as young as we used to be and are struggling with maintaining the property. We need help for 4hours a day, with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering the gardens and general house cleaning. We back onto tropical rainforest and creek. Help around the inside of property would also be helpful. You will have your own bedroom and own bathroom (1 queen for couples and 2 queens for singles). The fridge will be stocked for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we all sit together for evening meals which I will prepare. There are many stunning waterfalls and walk...

Property is a botanic garden of Australian native plants, many rare or endangered, plus an acre of plants for cut flowers, mainly proteas, banksias and tea trees. Lots of wildlife. We suggest that the badmouthing Host stops her spite, deletes the negative comments about us on her profile stops sending out defacing untrue comments to other Helpers and goes on with live. ...

We enjoy lots of "homesteading" activities including breadmaking and preserving, herbal medicine, soap making and general crafts.
