We live in a 4 bedroom home on 3000 sq metres with an extensive native garden. Accommodation for the helpers includes a double bedroom, small sitting/ media room and own bathroom. The house is open plan so common areas are shared with us (2 adults). We have a gourmet kitchen, air-conditioning and everything you need. You will need your own car. We need gardening help and general help around the home. We can negotiate work and hours based on needs. Our preference is for helpers to stay for a week, but this is also negotiable.

We are a family of three, my wife and I and 18 year old son. We Live in Hobart and I travel to my studio in Cradoc most days to work. I am a practicing artist ( sculptor) operating a studio on 8 acres and I'm the process of setting up the garden and exchange artist in residence (listed on resartis) and helpx accommodation ( very basic). There is a little cottage on the property with a double bed and a wood heater/cook top. This is suitable for a couple or single person( one room) or shared small space. It has a lovely valley view and very cosy. The toilet and shower are a short walk away. It is more practical in summer and only for the brave in winter, as a lot of the time you are outdoors. We are looking for some one to live in the little cottage and work for minimum 10 hours a week. This really is only an accommadation type exchange hence only the 10 hours. It can be done all in a day or over a longer period- it's up to you. You will have to supply own food and prep - kitchen...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with 2 horses and a miniature horse and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. I am surrounded by millions of hectares of State Forest, National Parks and Coastal Reserve and there is a huge State Forest just up the road. I am a long term vegetarian and preference will be given to vegetarians. I am well travelled. Very happy to accommodate gay people though I'm not gay myself. Accommodation is in a comfortable caravan. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds and animals call my place home. Currently looking for someone with lots of experience riding and training horses. I also have a miniature horse who loves cuddles. Also cleaning and gar...

Hello travellers! My daughter (19) and I both enjoy getting to know people from different countries. We like to get out and about spending time at the beach, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming or walking in the bush. We also love nature photography, such as capturing the aurora, bioluminescence, sunsets and funghi. So I am happy to show you some of what we have to offer in Tassie. In summer I am on holidays as I work as a teacher, and I do more outdoor activities. During term time we are not home much during work hours, so we seek people who are happy in their own company for part of the day. When we get home we usually head out for a walk on the beach with the dogs. On the weekends we like to spend time outdoors. I would like help with cooking, cleaning, gardening and dog walking, I also have a few repair jobs I would like help with and I would like to build a small shed, but I would only ask you to do this if you knew how. In the garden I am trying to increase the organic content in...

Just 10 minutes from Lismore and 5 mins from the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, our elevated, 9 hectare property at Rock Valley, is also within easy reach of the Border Ranges National Park and the coast. The farm is our long-term project to improve local biodiversity, and supports a growing population of amazing native wildlife. We share an interest in landcare, creative arts and community with a network of nearby friends, experienced in bush regeneration and propagation. We are very grateful for any help but most of all love the opportunity to share others' skills and experience, and having time to get acquainted. The workload is variable depending on the weather and season, but generally fun, and usually followed by morning tea. Accommodation is a fully restored, air-conditioned cottage, located 50 metres from the main house.

HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

We live in a fun share house in Maryborough, Marry Poppins Town, with awesome meals and a big edible garden. We're Mars, the owner of the property and Tracy, a former theatre/restaurant owner who's cooking the most awesome meals and looking after everyone like a mum. There're 2 adorable dogs in the family, so you must be a dog lover. We need help with building and creating, and with an awesome but overgrown garden. In addition, we're about to put 12v solar power into the rooms, also natural air-conditioning and are finishing up the spa bath in the 2nd bathroom... so there's a bit for you to learn and lots of knowledge to take home. We have had awesome experiences with travellers so far 😃. Maryborough is only 30 minutes away from Hervey Bay with beautiful beaches overlooking Frazer Island. Maryborough is a beautiful old heritage town with a lot of old buildings and parks all around. We're just a few metres away from the Mary River, at a quite place and only 1.5 km from town. There'...

Hi, I’m Annie :) Thanks for stopping by! Looking for help *** from now through February, 1 wk - 10 days work for a couple *** At the moment I'm looking for help with Spring cleaning in the house and garden work; mulching, light pruning, fertlising, tidying up garden and some indoor/ outdoor house work. Mostly this would be cleaning spider webs off gutters, garden maintenance and window/ blind cleaning, cleaning out pantry, kitchen cupboards, cleaning oven, etc. It would be useful is someone was confident with a drill and some very basic carpentry work, to hang some outdoor ornaments. I'm sorry but I can't help with 2nd Year Work Visas. I usually invite Helpers for 1 week and see how it goes. Own vehicle required. My home is in Dunsborough, part of the famous Margaret River Wine region in the South-West of Western Australia. Dunsborough is a beautiful, quiet coastal town, with great facilities. Nearby are wild oceans and awesome surf, sleepy bays, beautiful wineries and restaur...

Hello! We’re a small family - Matt, Tash and our baby girl Toni. We live on a relaxed 10 acre hobby farm with our two friendly dogs, sheep and chickens. We are located just 12 minutes from Warrnambool and Koroit, and about 25 minutes from Port Fairy. We’re surrounded by beaches and volcanic countryside. We’re looking for a helping hand around the property and in the garden with jobs like weeding, raking, planting, chainsawing (if experienced) and general maintenance around the garden and house. Most of the work is outdoors and can be quite physical, so it suits someone active with a positive, can do attitude. You’ll stay in either our spare room in our house, loft room in shed, or a fully equipped caravan, depending on availability. You’ll have access to Wi-Fi, all the usual amenities, a pool to cool down in and a theatre room to relax in during your downtime. We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and healthy snacks. Hi beautiful people! I’m Christine, a happy spirited former language and arts teacher working across two continents. Since I retired I work in the natural health field. I live on an urban block called The Roo‘s Pouch, where I maintain a sustainable vegetable garden and created a community of nice people living with me. I live in one of the three buildings on this sunny property which runs on rainwater harvesting. We avoid chlorine and contaminates by filtering, harmonizing and ionizing our water. So water conservation is part of life for me. The corner block is in a suburb of Maryborough. There are 3 beautiful public parks surrounding with lots of kangaroos hopping peacefully around, near to the Mary River. The historic city of Maryborough has a lot to offer and is the home town of Mary Poppins. We are only 30 min by car from the ocean in Hervey Bay with wale watching when in season. Hervey Bay is at the doorsteps of Fraser Island/K’Gari. I offer for single or couple a bedroom wit...

You will have split system aircon, fast 500 mbps wifi, power and water included, a covered carpark, and remote controlled gate access. The house is queer friendly, no smoking, and no pets. The gate is not secure for dogs. I have a friendly cat, a snake in a secure enclosure, and two chickens. I take care of the animals.

The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally. I have been a volunteer host for 18 years and I have had more than 1700(Yes!!!you read it correctly!) fabulous, lovely, wonderful volunteers stay with me. Many of them have come back for second, third…or even 10th visits!!!!! Work can be really diverse including tree planting, mowing grass, helping to install forest fire...

Available from approx end of March onwards. Stay in a furnished room in my three bedroom ground floor home in the northern suburbs. It suits one person or a couple. I am a second generation lifelong Darwin resident and I have hosted more than 400 guests from 40 countries, so I know how to make people feel welcome while keeping expectations clear. What I need is practical help with simple household and yard tasks. This includes vacuuming, mopping, basic cleaning, weekly lawn mowing and whipper snippering, repotting plants, digging small holes, and spreading fertiliser. The total workload averages about two hours a day, and I supply all equipment.
