**We are looking for helpers over Easter** Hi, we have a beautiful room available under our elevated house for occasional short stay helpers. It has a double bed and sofa bed so can comfortably fit one or two people or a couple. It looks over the swimming pool and has A/C and its own verandah area. There is an outdoor shower and downstairs toilet. If you'd like to cook at home you can use our kitchen upstairs or we can set up a camp kitchen. We are looking for helpers to do around 2.5 hours of work a day around the house and garden, e.g cleaning, organising, fixing garden watering system, and cooking, We are two adults, one teenager and a friendly dog :) We are right near a cafe, and Nightcliff foreshore and the markets are only a few blocks away. We're very close to the bus to the city (20min ride) and have bikes you can borrow to get to the shops, beach etc

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Not much work to do here now, so I mostly only take 1 person at a time. Not the place just to get a free room.for a while, but also not the place if you get bored easily You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one skinny, old farmer, one dog, some cattle, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Rang...

** room not available until April 29th ** Hello I live in a lovely house on Tamborine Mountain backing right onto the Golf Course. You can stay in my home in return for 3 hours of light work each day, 5 days a week (this doesn't include food/meals). The work is easy and would include weeding, planting plants, house cleaning etc. My house is not secluded (there are other houses around it), but it is a 10min drive to shops/cafes etc, so it would be best to have your own car. Everyone on the mountain is on tank water and sometime we run out of water so I can only share with people who are happy to be very conservative with their water usage, (eg showers need to be no more than 4 mins). I'm looking forward to hearing from you Kara

Hi there We have had many backpackers stay with us before and enjoy the new chats, music and vibes. I have stayed in hostels and backpackers here in Australia and overseas and always like to travel in WA to along the coast. Our house is walking distance from town and the beach is 200m away. It's an older house mix and match furniture, incense always burning and music playing with only 1 bathroom and 4 bedrooms with with big backyard. We have 1 cat named Sassy. The house is always tidy but by no means immaculate. There is wifi and a large bedroom that has heaps of cupboards and a desk with mirror and has a Queen bed, fan etc There is myself and my 17yr old son who live here. In return for accom and utilities etc we just ask for help and ideas with evening meals and general upkeep inside the house. A bit like a hostel feel really. The idea of this is that in the future we are considering advertising a room for rent long term and would just like to see how we go with another pers...

Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Opportunities for Autumn vineyard and maintenance work are available now, starting in April 2026. Couples with Visitor visas are also welcome. I want (NON-smoking) volunteers who wish to experience distillery, vineyard, and winemaking work. During the season, there are generally outdoor activities, such as winery and vine work, plus gardening if it i...

If you would like a homely, wondrous Blue Mountains experience, nestled in nature, without being surrounded by tourists, you’re welcome to stay with us. You will relax and unwind here, sit in front of the fire in the evenings, drink tea, go on bushwalks, watch the alpacas, and share stories. Then wake to amazing sunrises! Especially quiet for those that have just come from a Vipassana meditation retreat. If you're a rock climber, you can walk to crags at Shipley and Centennial Glen. We have two alpacas, some chickens, and two indoor cats. We live in a new house on a two acres, next to the Blue Mountains National Park. Amazing bushwalks begin at our home. Walk to Govetts Leap waterfall, Evans Lookout, the Grand Canyon, and Blue Gum Forest. We need ENERGETIC help in the yard, mainly splitting firewood. There are lots of small jobs, all requiring good strong MUSCLES. We also need help with BUSH REGENERATION because there are weeds that have invaded the rare and endangered hanging s...

Vacancy from Tuesday 2 April. We require help with DIY repairs and maintenance, timber work, upgrading a dinghy to fit a roof and remote steering, repairs to trailer and for help with early morning gardening, housekeeing, cooking and dog walking on the beach. We are looking for reasonably good DIY handymen and women, capable of working effectively, when necessary, on your own or as a pair and, ideally, someone who also has some gardening experience, but that is not really necessary, learn on the job! 😉👍. So you need to be a "morning person" who is happy to start work at 07.00 hr, at least five mornings a week, not a night-owl. This is to avoid the heat of the afternoons at this time of year, mornings ca n be beautiful. Much of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped, air-conditioned, woodworking workshop and/or in our vegetable garden and hen and duck coops, just over 100 meters from a very quiet, sandy beach.🧜‍♂️ Opportunities on your day off include fishing...

We are a semi-retired couple who love gardening, cooking, journaling, dancing and sightseeing. Our mud brick house is comfortable and usually cool in summer. You will have your own cosy room. We have fans for cooling and open fireplace for heating if required. The property has a boundary with the State Forest. It is very green all around. We have many native wildlife visit us such as wallabies, wombats, Kookaburras, and a resident Koala. We are off the grid and generate our own electricity and source our water from the creek that is fed by a small waterfall (La La Falls). Conserving energy is a common practice here and it would be wonderful to share sustainable ideas. It's a 20 min walk to the town. We hope to share our rich culturally diverse lifestyle and show you our beautiful valley and quirky valley attractions. We are hoping for a helper (or couple or friends), who can help with garden tidy-up (lawns, weeds and pruning), house projects and cleaning. If you know how to use ...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...

We live on 2 acres of bush with ocean views, seven km from the centre of Airlie Beach. We are close to a local bus stop so a car and license is not essential. We are a family of four (kids aged 8 and 10) with ten free range chickens, one rooster and lots of fruit trees and a vegetable garden. We are looking for a friendly, reliable individual or couple to join our family and assist with household tasks in exchange for accommodation and food (four hours of daily duties). Your space is a new self-contained guest room on the first floor of our home. The room has a small kitchenette, a bathroom, a queen bed plus a single bed/day bed. You are also free to use our family swimming pool, fire pit area and balcony with sea views. In terms of responsibilities, we would need help with general house tasks like cleaning, washing, and light cooking, as well as gardening and helping with the kids. Ryan is a qualified carpenter, and we have built our own house ourselves. We are up to some finishing p...

We are offering travelers a warm, comfortable two-story Celery Top Pine Pole home we built ourself. You will enjoy magical views of the ocean and mountain and will wake to the sounds of the wild birds that flock to our food and water bowls. We are regularly visited by possums, wallaby's and various other wildlife. If you're lucky you may even see a Tasmanian Devil. We aspire to a sustainable way of living and adore our large established organic garden, which we are needing help with maintaining. We ask helpers to provide a minimum of 4.5 hrs of work each day for 5 days with two full days off. If you would like a day off after working a few days we ask you to make up the hours on other days. Some helpers also purchase their own food and only work 2.5 hours a day if this suits you better. We are also very flexible and happy to listen to your requests. Previous gardening experience is essential as well as cooking/helping with evening meals, household duties, and other jobs as required...

We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience. We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, gardening, wood splitting, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 1 hour work a day (couple) and 1.5 hours work a day (single) which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like. Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

We live on a small- originally self sustained- property just outside of Mullumbimby. We have vegie gardens, park like other gardens, fruit trees, 3 dams and an affectionate dog:), Originally I planted 3000 native trees which have grown up over the last 30 years but need maintenance. I cannot do all the chores any more due to getting older The property is in walking distance to Mullumbimby, with swimming pools, pubs, cafes, library, and a vibrant culture. If you enjoy the sea, own transport would be of benefit, as the nearest beach is 12 km away in Brunswick Heads. We work part time outside the property and there are always projects going on. Pruning trees and bushes, weeding , maintenance of home and garden structures ( sheds, chook house) Accommodation is a comfortable sized room of 28 sqm, dry and sunny. 1 single bed and a sleep couch, a shared bathroom, and a little kitchenette. Taking HelpXers from early April 2026! Welcome to Geelong and the Surf Coast! We would love to welcome helpers to our Honeysuckle House - a five bedroom home in a quiet court. We have a guest room with queen bed and a private toilet/shower available for 1-2 people. We bought this big old house about a year ago, and we are struggling to keep up with gardening, cleaning and maintenance. We would love some help! Some examples of jobs that we need help with include: - reviving the veggie garden - tending to the garden (cottage plants and flowers) - cooking and baking (if you're into that) - oiling the deck - general house cleaning and fixing bits and pieces. - open to other creative projects around the house and garden We are asking for about 20 hours per week in exchange for food, accommodation and wifi. Work can be flexible! We want our helpers to feel like they can spend their day how they like, and choose when they feel like working. If you want to work all day for a few days and...

I have a lovely natural building studio space, made of super adobe, that is used as a meditation/healing/sacred temple space, set in a lovely slightly wild permaculture garden, with a bee hive, flowers, veggies etc. The studio would be completely your own private space. I am happy to share some meditation/healing practices with you if you are interested. I would love help in the garden, with weeding, mulching, planting, harvesting and helping to make the garden creative, abundant, fertile and beautiful. Also need help going to the beach to collect seaweed for the garden beds. I would like to provide some meals, and have you be independent for some as well. I really like to meet and be social with helpers , and also to spend a lot of time in meditation and writing. I live in a little rural suburb near a beautiful mangrove area , and I am 40 minutes from wilsons prom, and less to other beautiful areas. A drivers license would be very helpful .

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

After 16 years, and hosting almost 100 HelpXers, at our property in Larnook, in the Northern Rivers region, Steve and I have moved to a new place in Tenterfield, at the northern end of the New England Tableland. All of our reviews up until September 2024, are related to our previous place. We are now ready to accept HelpXers at our new place. Steve and I are a gay couple and we offer a high quality experience (as you can see from our reviews) and so we expect our Helpers to pitch in and help. The more you put into your time here at Tenterfield, the more you will get out of it. We have lots of small work jobs at present including lots of weeding and gardening, mowing, establishing herb and vege gardens, pruning and cutting back and some other work. Our property is situated a few kilometers west of the town of Tenterfield, in a quiet, rural area. We usually expect around 4 hours per day of work in exchange for all meals, your own room, access to internet (for checking emails, looki...

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure.

There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , . Located 12 minutes the pristine beach’...

Capable horse riders will enjoy the opportunity to experience Australian life in peaceful bushlands, viewing Australian wildlife such as goannas, echidnas, kookaburras, kangaroos, and koalas. We have lots of horses available for your adventures on our miles and miles of tracks. We have five new foals to play with. If you like cities and lots of pe...
