Our place is located at the top end of the historic Kaoota tramway track which used to take coal and later small fruit from here to Margate on the coast. It's now a popular multi-use trail. We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Hi Everyone We are a Mixed farming enterprise with scattered properties.(110 kms away) We have Cattle, Sheep. and seasonal cropping. We have 2 resident working dogs. The home and accommodation are on the Beach front in a small coastal town. The beach front home is only 100mts to the ocean so great for all beach activities out the front gate. There is Separate accommodation to main house with amenities. Work will involve travelling to the several properties to help inspect livestock waters and wellbeing. Other jobs include feeding stock, marking calves, drafting and loading sheep shifting hay, loading hay so being able to drive a tractor is an advantage. We have a 36 foot (10.6m) catamaran in a pen at our waterfront property on Pittwater for accommodation. Our location is a PARADISE surrounded by a stunning waterway, National Park & yacht clubs. The boat has 2 double berths (beds), a galley with gas cook-top & grille, a fridge & freezer & gas hot water & gas barbecue on the cockpit transom (back of the boat). You do your own food & cooking. HI HELPERS!!! WELCOME TO JOHN`S FUN FACTORY!!! BULLETIN: I live in a beautiful isolated Tasmanian mountain valley surrounded by world heritage rain forest and some VERY TALL Trees!(but not as big as the Hinoki trees at AliShan in Taiwan!!) Most of my property is a nature reserve, but I have a 2 Hectare orchard, berry garden and vegetable garden which are all useless! The possums, wallabies and birds eat most of these (trees included!) so we live on ice cream and chocolate biscuits instead! Please come and help us eat the biscuits so I don`t get too fat! Oh, by the way, all the Wallabies are called "Skippy" and they don`t mind a bit of apple or banana occasionally.
