Brett and Jason live here, though Brett is away for work sometimes. We are looking for helpers for August. Our past helpers have stayed from 1 week, up to a month. Flexible dates. Depending on the preference, there is a cabin away from the house with a queen bed, beautiful bathroom, toilet, kitchen and laundry, which is ideal for couples. Sometimes we have a room available in the house. The little house is perched up on a pretty valley with lovely decks and verandahs overlooking the surrounding gardens. We have hot showers inside and outside, as well as laundry facilities. We need help with all kinds of land care, including lots of weeding, keeping the Camphor and lantana at bay, some hand-clearing forest and waterfall areas, trimming trees and mulching to support the natural rainforest growth. We usually enjoy meals and social time with our helpers, and they become part of the pack. We both love cooking and do our best to provide delicious meals. General gardening, weeding...

After 25 years of doing this I've decided to limit the people I will accept. Potential helpers must have comprehensive knowledge of what they are doing. No first timers. I no longer have the patience to train people. I think it's a bit of 'grumpy old man syndrome'. ABSOLUTELY,No smoking or vaping on the property at all. No exceptions. I HAVE RECENTLY HAD PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT FOLLOWED THIS GUIDELINE. I prefer to breathe clean air. NO SMELLY, PERFUMED SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, BODYWASH SUNSCREENS OR DEODORANTS PLEASE, I CAN SUPPLY ALTERNATIVES. How about heading south to the most beautiful part of Australia? Or if you are already in Tasmania, that's a bonus. We are always welcoming and love to show off our stunning island home. Work would involve getting the garden ready for planting this Spring and other various farm jobs. Nothing too hard or difficult. I'd like some help clearing and establishing some walking tracks through the forest on the property. I prefer people with experience i...

Hablo Espanol und ein bisschen Deutsch et encore moins Francais *Looking for Building/Renovating Skills* In addition to staying at this beautiful place, you could earn a living wage in exchange for building/renovating (14 hours per week). No tools required, just knowledge and experience. Apply within. Also if anyone was interested in doing a vege garden?? Enjoy waking up to bower birds, hearing the crunch of goannas through the forest and seeing the pademelons grazing the understory. PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON *Got a garden that needs cleaning up at the moment. You don't need to have an overwhelming desire to save the world, live off the land, or be more useful than a Swiss army knife, to stay here. A nice honest person is good enough. This is a relaxing place, close to nature, away from the backpacker trail on the coast but still got a bit happening, somewhere to recharge your batteries, do a bit of work, have a laugh and meet some real Aussies, maybe get out of your comfort zone a bit😜 My place is a cattle farm with one old farmer, one dog, lots of birds and wildlife, relaxing place, near Kyogle, a quiet country town, which is 1.5 hours drive west from Byron Bay. Two hours south of Brisbane by train. Very close to the beautiful Border Ranges National Park (bike ride away). I like to show people around. Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae. We have a beautiful property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely now that its 4 year build has just completed! The place will get even more enjoyable and beautiful as we create this funky mini-retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer.... Generally we look for Helpxers to help with the gardening and house cleaning (the weeds are a never-ending battle!), but we also have some next garden and DIY/building related projects we want to progress: build some very large fruit tree cages; build/install a chicken coup and chickens! construct flat packed bunk beds x3. So any experience/ability in creating these kinds of structures would be great! The next specific needs are twofold: a) looking for a helper with construction/carpentry...

We are looking for two types of helpers from early mid July: firstly one or two good wood workers / carpenters / DIY handymen/women capable of working effectively on your own or as a pair. Most of the work is outside but based out of a well-equipped woodworking workshop. Secondly we may be looking for someone to help with housekeeping and cooking and gardening. Plenty of opportunities on your day off, if you have interests in fishing, sailing, snorkeling, weather permitting of course. We are establishing a modest permaculture garden with heritage breed chickens, their mixed offspring, Muscovy ducks and a range or of tropical fruit, vegetables and herbs. We have recently started making and using biochar, rearing soldier-fly larvae for chickens, starting oyster mushroom growing (that has stalled after a wet season failure!) and are starting to grow various high-nutritional-value microgreens. We live next to a very quet sandy, tropical beach (tide line 135 metres from the door) ...

I am available to host a couple only from Saturday 11/07 till Saturday the 02/08 Hello! I’m Sonja, an active retired grandmother . I’m seeking a vegetarian or vegan couple to assist with gardening and deep cleaning my spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse, nestled in a cozy complex of just four townhouses . Hello! Thank you for reading our profile. Guy, myself and our dog Ava would love to welcome you to our home and community up here in Far North Queensland. A place like no other. At the northern edge of the Daintree rainforest, adjacent to the pristine waters of Wallaby Creek (safe for swimming) and surrounded by excellent bush walks, visitors can enjoy numerous activities. Located only a few kilometres north is the Lions Den Hotel, which features live bands during the tourist season and offers a unique experience. The southern route through the Daintree to Port Douglas showcases breathtaking coastal scenery. We invite you to join us on your days off to explore our hills and discover many amazing places that are typically known only to locals. We are a fit and active couple in our 70s who have recently bought a home (2021) right by the water on Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, 30km from Brisbane. It has great views over the bay and has good access to fishing, crabbing, safe swimming and boating. There is a fast and regular ferry to the mainland that takes 20 minutes. There are also several other islands nearby that can be explored including North Stradbroke Island that has wonderful beaches and walks and lots of wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, turtles and dolphin and - from June to October - humpback whales. Over the next two years we will renovate and paint the home, install new kitchen and two bathrooms. Graham has some woodworking skill but needs help during that time with various tasks and we are willing to give you a comfortable bed, good food and company and access to bathroom and washing machine in exchange for 4 hours help per day, 5 days per week. Hi you young and beautiful travelers, Bundaberg is a less known touristic town, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and wonderful surroundings. It is also an agricultural country town with many backpackers hostels . With a bit of lack there might be opportunities for paid work on a farm. It’s only 350km north of Brisbane and easily reachable by train. My home is only a few minutes drive from the town center, yet secluded and peaceful, sitting on 2.5 acres. I am looking for people who would like to visit this promising coastal town and help with general house and backyard maintenance, around 4 -5 hours a day, 6 days a week. The person helping me will have a home away from home and a cosy room to rest in. I am hoping he/she will treat the place with respect and consideration, observing the few requirements related to the use of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise, regretfully, we will have to part ways sooner then expected. A good home cooked meal and an occasional glass of wine is...

Love to host a strong guy or 2 that have some gardening/farming experience and/or has carpentry skills that's keen to help out around the property and also spend some boating trips, catching barramundi, crocodille spotting, trolling the islands and snorkeling...July/august/september is our main time to enjoy time on the water as its the Humpback whale and fish migration season so we would prefer folks that have an interest in boating/fishing and happy to tie their own fishing knots and set the anchor and dont get sea-sick.... Volunteers can use their time here to sign off for 7 days a week towards their 88 days 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off and we have helped many backpackers secure a second/third year visa as we are registered primary producers in the correct postcode for "disaster relief",.
