We live in a quiet place close to national parks and beaches but still close to the cbd of Sydney. Good bus access and a short trip to mentor to take you further distance to other Sydney locations. I am in need of hand person work such as hanging a clothes line, shelves and hooks and clearing out a garage and some garden work and some transportation if you have a car.

I seek mature travellers who are travelling around the South West in their own Camper Van or Car with tent etc. Traveller/helpers need to be self contained but I provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. I have some really nice set up camp sites here - the sites are private, clean, safe and located in beautiful natural bushland settings. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like possible work services, free food services and access to various beaches etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build their own sustainable homes and grow their own food...., using what is around them, to adapt to their environment and adopt permaculture principals to suit their own needs. I have lived on my own little permaculture farm beside the Leeuwin/Naturaliste National Park forest since 1982. I have built my own home using local granite s...

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. PLEASE READ MY WHOLE HOST PROFILE BEFORE YOU APPLY TO VISIT MY PLACE AND ASK ABOUT ANYTHING YOUR NOT CLEAR ON Need help.with a garden clean up.at the moment. “Work is love made visible” …Kahlil Gibran If you understand the above quotation then you are the HELPER I want. Please, read EVERYTHING below before requesting hosting. I have only recently returned from a volunteer project in Fiji. Now I am renovating a very old miner's cottage on a half-acre in a cute rural village in central NSW. The Cottage is about 150 years old, built originally with timber that was milled on-site by hand. The original Cypress Pine slabs stand vertical. The cottage is being creatively renovated to display its history and highlight modern, country, lifestyle. The grounds are destined to be turned into organic food gardens and a native species garden. Room for you in-house or caravan. YOU could learn a lot about the Aussie lifestyle, sustainable living, alternative building ...AND have a lot of fun, if you choose to HelpX with Donny. We have a 2 bedroom self contained granny flat available. Both rooms have queen beds, so can accomodate 1-4 people. We are on 7.5 acres of mostly natural bushland. Living at the property is my husband Ken, our 18 year old son Connor and myself Lucy, along with a few chooks and our dog Joy. Our older children both live interstate. Public transport near us is very limited so you need your own car. Happy to do accomodation and food for 15 hours work per week per person. I mostly need help with gardening and cleaning, however sometimes have special projects on, or if you have a particular skill there may be other things to do. We would be happy to take you sightseeing on our days off, and are flexible how you do the work hours across the week. We would love to meet new people, learn bits of language and share some fun times together. Stays of 1- 2 weeks.

We are a family of five living a self reliant lifestyle, on a small isolated block. We produce our own food, including goat's yoghurt & cheese, wild or raised meats, eggs, fruit and veggies from our established gardens. We have no income from our property as we are always wanting to become more self-sufficient, so guests must be self motivated and hard working, and be able to contribute skills. We do not allow the use of chemicals (shampoo, sunscreen deodorants etc...) as our grey-water goes directly onto the food gardens, but we do supply our own home made organic soaps and creams. Our aim is to create a co-operative living space, so opportunities arise for short and long term or permanent stay. We have three children who we homeschool using natural learning methods. Travellers with children are very welcome. Please visit our website via link below. We are randomly online and prefer telephone contact to make arrangements.

🏡 Stay in a Unique Wildlife Sanctuary near Currumbin Beach – Help with Gardening, House Projects & More I’m Deborah, and I live in a peaceful bushland home on the ridge in Elanora, on the beautiful Gold Coast (Southeast Queensland). The property is part of a koala sanctuary — wallabies regularly visit the backyard, and if you’re patient, you might spot a koala in the treetops. You’ll definitely hear them at night! Despite the natural setting, we’re only a 5-minute drive from Currumbin Beach and close to local shopping centres, bushwalks, weekend markets, and iconic surf spots. 🌿 About the Stay: I’ve recently moved back into my home and am still getting everything properly set up after a long and difficult few years dealing with insurance and rebuilding. The house is a work in progress — but a beautiful one — and helpers have always been welcome here. Sleeping arrangements currently include inflatable bedding, and there are still some basic household things being sorted out. Most gu...

We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the beautiful Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Our family consists of three young adult children (two live at home), two horses, many chickens, ducks, geese, goats and two gorgeous dogs. We grow organic vegetables and breed heritage chickens in an attempt to be more sustainable. Jobs involve general gardening, helping with the animals and housekeeping. If you would like a Tassie small farm experience message us with some details of the work you have previously done. We have separate accommodation, with a bathroom. All our HelpXers have loved working and living with us and I hope you will too (please remember Tassie is a cold place in winter). There are many areas of natural beauty in Southern Tasmania which are all fairly close to us. For example, the Hartz mountains, Hastings Caves and the Tahune Airwalk. We live close to a sleepy village called Cygnet and Hobart is only a 40min drive away. (Unfortunately we can't approve 2nd year visas)

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely after its 4 year renovation build has just completed, and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer and wedge-tailed eagle. This link has a lot more photos of our place: https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 The next specific needs are: a) start of May onwards. Meal prep, housekeeping and gardening. This can be a short term stay 2-4 weeks if desired. b) start of June onwards. Mostly cleaning and bedrooms reset, some gardening. Minimum stay 4 weeks, but we prefer longer stays! If you want to come the second half of May that's fine - we're very flexible. (...

Hey everyone it's Coco. I have a farm property down here near Moruya at Congo, NSW. I have recently moved house and now live at my beach house, but still run the farm 2 km away. There is plenty to do as I am still getting organised at the beach house, so come and help. The house is across the road from the beach - swimming and surfing every day. On the farm there are a few cows and sheep, very friendly farm dog, an orchard and an organic garden to look after... and kangaroos. At the beach house i need help re-establishing my gardens, painting, general house maintenance. I am around heaps, but helpers need to be able to do stuff without supervision and know what you are doing. It's better if you have farm experience and a mature attitude. Things that I need help with specifically include: Farm related jobs Looking after the dog Check the cows Weed control Fencing checks House cleaning Lawns Washing Painting Meal preparation For your fun there are bikes, surfboards and plenty of ...

...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys. ...!! With only the help of many hard working wwoofer's/HelpX'ers , I started to build the house and clear the land here 26 years ago, so this place is a BIG BIG credit to all my helpers who worked here with me, enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..! These days instead of my helpers assisting me , I assist my helpers LOL , usually in the morning and than we try to cook a meal , please, understand that I am not a good cook, so help there is esp. welcome, vegetarian only. I feel that for the helpers who come here, maybe, apart from the usual work, self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music... In the past I practiced meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Vipassana etc, I love music and most of the time there is music in the house. This is a Private Forest Reserve, 80 acre property, 7km from St M...

Hey everyone it's Coco. I have a farm property down here near Moruya at Congo, NSW. I have recently moved house and now live at my beach house, but still run the farm 2 km away. I am around heaps, but helpers need to be able to do stuff without supervision and know what you are doing. It's better if you have farm experience and a mature attitude. ...The Quiet Retreat, a Lifestyle Property , located on the north East Coast of Tasmania , St Marys.
