Our farm is located on the coast in Bookara, which is located 20km north of Dongara and 45km south of Geraldton. Dongara is situated roughly 360km from Perth and is a beautiful town. Has its own port also, which is called Port Denison, so twin towns! Port Denison is renowned for having some of the biggest Cray Fishing boats in Australia. They are great to see. Geraldton is a 30min drive from our farm and is a rural city. We are surrounded by some great things, the Midwest has to offer. Our Wild Flowers are one of the best sights to see also, you will see some unbelievable wild flowers thru August and September. Our farm is situated in a perfect location for anyone looking at seeing any Midwest attractions. My family and I are looking at setting up a short stay accommodation destination, for people who would love to experience the, Sun, Surf and fishing and all the other Midwest attractions. We would love some handy helpers, who would love to see the Midwest and be apart of the set ...

I live in the picturesque hamlet of Stanley which is just a 10 minute drive from Historic Beechworth. North East Victoria. It’s approx 3.5 hours drive north east of Melbourne. And only 50 minutes drive to NSW border. I need helpxers to provide assistance with lifting heavy items to remove clutter and take to the tip, also some cleaning, gardening, wood chopping and plastering. I am open to taking a couple and there is a self-contained cabin with a double loft bed and ensuite. Although I’ve listed β€˜accommodation only’, I will cook and provide some meals when I can. I would like to practice my beginner Italian language skills. I love being a HelpX host! It is so much fun to meet people from other places and other cultures. I have met some of the most wonderful people, some who are now life-long friends. Previously I lived in North Sydney, I then moved to Manly Beach. And now I’ve bought a house in the Victorian High Country.

I am a retired secondary school teacher and I love gardening, singing and playing guitar, hiking, presenting on community radio and travelling. I live in a lovely historic cottage on a large block with a permanent creek a few minutes walk from the centre of Willunga in South Australia. Willunga is a small country town in a wine growing region and is famous for its cafes and Saturday morning Farmers Market. My home is about 45 mins south of Adelaide and a short drive to the beach. I can provide a room within my house for one or two people and delicious vegetarian meals in exchange for working with me on improving my organic garden. I prefer to get requests for dates less than two weeks ahead and helpers that wish to stay from a few days up to one week. Sorry no smokers. ps I have a dog.

Spring is finally here β€” we're open to both spontaneous and planned stays! Feel free to reach out via text, as we’re not always active on this platform. We’re a working couple who settled on a peaceful 10-acre property in South Gippsland 2 years ago. It’s dairy country out here β€” green, rolling, and full of charm. Our initial focus is on establishing an organic vegetable garden alongside nurturing the beautiful, mature gardens already here. Our fur family includes two alpacas with big personalities, six sheep, and two sweet little cows...they are all adorable and love treats and human interaction. We’ve got plenty of exciting projects on the go and we’re taking each step with joy and purpose. If you love gardening, small creative tasks, or simply being outdoors, we’d love to hear from you. We enjoy cooking meals from a variety of cuisines and spending time outside soaking up the fresh air. You’ll stay in a peaceful, studio on our property β€” just 14 minutes from Inverloch beach. It’...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. At our off- grid solar, wood and gravity powered homestead you can live very close to Nature and learn by helping, how to grow your own food in the big, fully caged vegie garden/ orchard and some of how to build a bush cabin (it could be a winning strategy in years to come). We are long term, committed advocates, for climate change action and we've lived with Sustainability and Creating a low "Carbon Footprint" in mind, for 40 yrs now, settling here, (inland of Taree / Port Macquarie) from scratch in 1980, on 680 acres of rocky ridge forest on the wild and steep NW edge of the Bulga Plateau, 500m above sea level (a very beautiful but challenging location)! Watch our YouTube video below, about our community and us, made by the very talented helpxer, Louie Ablett. Three of us live here now, myself 74, David 84 and Sue 64, who started as a WWOOFer and has moved here with the help of a voluntary activity agreement through Centrelink for over 55s'. We are a busy family household with 3 teenagers (17/2x15), nestled into the slopes of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. We have a rambling old house with a large bush garden on three acres of bush. We back onto Wellington Park, with immediate access to bush walks, mountain biking, and nature. Our house is a fifteen-minute drive from the centre of Hobart and other service areas such as Sandy Bay or Kingston. Buses are available. Check the Metrotas website for timetables. Half our household is vegetarian (but not vegan, although vegan is fine). The others eat meat (flexibly). Food is multinational, and guests who like to cook are welcome. We have two crazy (but friendly) dogs, so guests who know not to leave doors open are appreciated. The room available is a comfortable downstairs room with its own outside access. All other facilities need to be shared. Our expectation is for 2–3 hours of light work in return for accommodation and board. Duties could include gardening, wood stacking, carpentry, ...

We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rain water collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’ve put a lot of work in to achieve a fossil-fuel-free, all-electric, household, with as small an environmental footprint as possible. We’re also lucky to live in a beautiful rural/coastal area near Inverloch, Victoria, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes south-east of Melbourne. We are close to some of Victoria’s most famous wildlife and wilderness attractions, including the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, the Koala Conservation Reserve, and hiking and camping at Wilson’s Promontory (not to mention numerous local beaches and fishing spots only 10 minutes away!). With our house complete, we’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to help complete: a na...

Hi travellers, are you in the Margaret River area and looking for a special place to stay in your camper van in the bush ? I have some really nice bush camp sites on my organic Permaculture farm and I'm seeking a couple or single traveller to help me here? Self contained travellers in camper vans or similar will be made very welcome. I will provide access to clean toilet and shower facilities. All camp sites are located in beautiful natural bushland settings and beside a stream. You will be allowed to have small campfires in the evenings. Welcome! I am Fern. I live together with my 4 year old daughter on our small, off grid and very humble farmlet in Guildford, Central Victoria. Guildford is home to one of Victoria's largest river red gums. It is over 500 years old. It's a very small town with only a general store, primary school & pub, half way between Castlemaine & Daylesford. We have been on this land for 1 and a half years & have started using permaculture principals & design. So far, we have completed the fence line, (to keep the rabbits out) & joyously have begun some planting both in the food forest, cottage garden & in the veggie patch. We always have seeds growing in our tiny greenhouse. Fern has a background in florist & plant nursery work and has completed a PDC. Currently a full time Mama, her interest lie in walking softly on this earth, while the little one loves watching the abundant birdlife in our vast open skies! I love kirtan and am busy immersing ourselves in the local community. There maybe a proj...

When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Per...

Next vacancies likely to be 2nd week of September. We appreciate help with DIY repairs and maintenance, timber work, help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We hatched two goslings in mid July and are hand-rearing them, real characters! We start 4 hours outside work at 08.00 hr, five mornings a week and at 9 am on Sundays. Saturday is your day off. So most of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped workshop and/or in our vegetable garden and hen and duck coops. ‍ Opportunities on your day off include fishing, sailing, snorkeling, weather permitting of course, rainforest walks and river swimming (Mossman River at The Gorge) and free nature tours on crocodile spotting boats on the Daintree River with the #Daintreerivercruisecentre (as Dave sometimes drives their boats and tour-guides for them when needed). We are establishing a m...

Our volunteers have an awesome time, with lots of really great home cooked food and fresh produce, and use of our guest facilities such as our commercial Coffee Machine, horse riding, hot tub, fully equipped gym, pool, outdoor adventure activities, zip lines, basketball, volleyball, scenic lookouts, bonfires, etc. We are located in a beautiful setting surrounded by over 20 thousand acres of National Park, and have lots of native animals on site. We have been established for over 30 years. Each year we host camps for schools, scouts, youth, church and community groups. Hello travellers, and a warm welcome to beautiful Olinda - I am Vita and delighted to host you. **Currently seeking Helper/s who can work in the garden or use a chainsaw to cut fire wood. Or a carpenter who can help repair weather damaged external timber windows. Or someone with mechanical experience to service chainsaw and lawn mowers. Or a Helper with sewing skills and can use a sewing machine. Or a helper who can restore and refinish furniture. I appreciate self-starters and Helpers with initiative, who do not always need to be told what to do and are capable of putting in a full days work. Weeding and garden work is always a go-to if you are waiting instructions. Helpers will sometimes be left to work by themselves as I don’t always have time to supervise them. Therefore, Helpers who can help with l...

Respect for the land is very important as this land is habitat for many native animals who roam freely around this land.. If you would like to come, stay and help me here, please send me a message ! I can usually help traveller/helpers locate many other things.., like work opportunities, free food services and access tracks to various hidden beaches etc etc. I like to show people how they can live on the land sustainably, how they can build t...

Welcome!

STUNNING PLACE IN TASSIE SURROUNDED BY NATURE! Hello, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat & micro-wedding space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. Our website link below has a lot more photos of our place. We have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August, then two more in early Dec and mid Feb 2027.: www.sherwoodloves.com.au The next specific needs are: a) any time from now onwards, need a website builder to help us extend our WIX based website for spiritual retreats - a lot of the ar...

Accommodation is a little caravan close by the house, which has a mini art gallery.
