STUNNING PLACE IN TASSIE! CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HELPER(S) for start of September onwards, 3+ weeks with a fun project! (could start any time up to 18 Sept approx) Hello, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. Our website link below has a lot more photos of our place. We have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see our blog link below. The next specific needs are: a) start of September onwards for at least 4 weeks (or any time up to 18th Septem...

We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rain water collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’ve put a lot of work in to achieve a fossil-fuel-free, all-electric, household, with as small an environmental footprint as possible. We’re also lucky to live in a beautiful rural/coastal area near Inverloch, Victoria, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes south-east of Melbourne. We are close to some of Victoria’s most famous wildlife and wilderness attractions, including the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, the Koala Conservation Reserve, and hiking and camping at Wilson’s Promontory (not to mention numerous local beaches and fishing spots only 10 minutes away!). With our house complete, we’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to help complete: a na...

We have been on our property for 7 years and are organic and regenerative in our farming and land development. Beef cattle and sheep farming and cropping. Help required with general farm duties in exchange for meals and accommodation. We enjoy a relaxed lifestyle sharing time with friends of similar interests in a great part of the country. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we live in a rural area sometimes phone and internet service is not great. Helpers need to realize that. If you want city phone service 24/7 stay in the city! My last 2 helpers have been complete time wasters, due to their dependence on a phone, which is unfortunate because all the others have been fantastic., so yeah, take this onboard and appreciate our wonderful country. :-)

Hello, I’m David! I have sold my coffee shop after 45 years in the hospitality trade, where travelling workers would once work, however I STILL offer helpers the same excellent own room lodging as homestay & great food in exchange for a little light work and some social contact. I live close the train station and bus stop and am a 30 min trip by train to Melbourne City. There is a vehicle to drive locally if are appropriately licensed. You are welcome to use it. I go to the outback in western New South Wales about 3 times a year for the purpose of experiencing the beautiful "timeless land" of Australia and to legally hunt feral animals which endanger our wildlife. I often take workers to the outback so they can have a taste of the real Australia and I can assure that none of the numerous helpers/woofers I have taken over a many year period did not thoroughly enjoy it. . However the choice is theirs whether they accompany myself or whether they stay and "mind the house" I also oft...

Hi, I'm Steve, I am a retired old fart at 65 and live alone, except for regular travelers I host. I live close the Strand (Beach) in Townsville in a 2 bedroom unit. I can offer you a king size bed in your own room. I used to be an active couchsurfing host but have given that away as i don't like the changes they have made to the way they operate now, nor the quality of surfers. I'm pretty open minded and I don't judge people. There is no work required here, just help keep the place clean and tidy. I prefer to share the evening meals as though it is your own home. I don't operate my home as a hostel and I am used to having people in my home, and it's a fairly relaxed environment. Basically I would just like you to come into my home and be a part of it and don't shit on the floor. The last few Helpers have become flatmates after a couple of weeks. The current helper has been here for 6 months and starts travelling very soon. The one before her was here 2 years. I am looking for a suita...

Foster is a beautiful small town. Close to Wilsons Promontory National Park with its beautiful scenery, fantastic beaches, native animals, kangaroos, wombats, emu’s, and much more. A short ride on the rail trail gets you Fishcreek to the west and Torra to the east, both these towns along with Foster have numerous cafes, galleries, opportunity shops and much more. More serious riders can ride the rail trail 50k west to Leongatha or 50k east to Port Welshpool. Beautiful beaches along Waratah Bay such as Shallow Inlet, Sandy Point, Waratah, Walkerville and Cape Liptrap. Also,Tarra Bulga Nat.Park. Known for its giant Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies and ancient Myrtle Beeches, is only a short drive. Melbourne to Foster bus takes about 2 hours. My house is two Kilometres from the town of Foster. I enjoy gardening, cycling, growing vegetables, bush walking. Help would include gardening, housework & cooking. Wi-Fi and 2 pushbikes…..

We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (20) and Kinyin (17). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 20-25 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here! It is such an amazing time of year here in (nearly) Spring - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! The hills are very beautiful. We are close to the city and a bus route but in the hills with koalas and kangaroos around... We have many projects on the go like woven fences from grape vines, drainage, pruning, path making, planting natives, building wicking beds, spring planting, mulching, bush regen, painting and more. The hills are very spectacular right now - gardening with a glorious view! We have been Wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here! We have just been featured in the Grassroots Magazine...

Hello! We are a family of one mum and 3 kids (10, 16, 17). We homeschool and live on a hobby farm where we raise our own cows and grow organic veges. Our home is off the grid but with all the modern convinces. We would love your help to tidy up our mini farm. Lawn mowing, wiper snipping, weeding, mulching, stacking firewood, help in the vege garden. Also being a part of the general household management - helping with meals and dishes alongside the teenagers. You will have your own caravan to sleep in but can hang out in the house during the day. We have bikes for enjoying the local countryside. Our area has beautiful beaches, rainforest, pretty countryside, stunning national parks and a historical seaside village. We love getting out exploring and learning in our local area.

Hi, I'm Andrew, thanks for looking at our profile, We are a family of 3 living (Dad and 2 big kids) in the suburbs of Newcastle, about 15 mins drive from the beach. I have 2 kids at home (Liam - 18yo & Anna - 20yo), we enjoy cafes and going to the beach and swimming in the pool. (The photos are some of our local beaches). We also like cycling and playing games, chilling out and chatting with friends. We attend a local church each week and Liam attends the local school which is just up the road. I spend lots of my time renovating (fixing/building) houses, including the house we live in, and love to have people to work with. The house we live in is currently being renovated and an extension is being constructed. Right now I really need help with timber framing - putting the house together - we are currently up to the floor frames and working on getting the rest of the house extension up. Help at work: Generally we ask you to help out in the renovations about 21 hours per week each (n...

We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe it’s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if you’re willing to free him up from his other commitments. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Per...

The Humpback whale and mackeral season starts during July and we enjoy getting out and catching a feed of fish while watching the whales cruise by ..last season a couple of Wwoofers that stayed here awhile saw at least 50 whales over several trips during the winter ..some less then 10 metres from our boat.... From about late august we would particularly love to host one or 2 people to help out around the garden, plant nursery and farm/orchard....Gardening, carpentry, welding or physical labour skills are particularly helpful... Volunteers can use their time here to sign off for 7 days a week towards their 88 days 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off and we have helped many backpackers secure a second/third year visa as we are registered primary producers in the correct postcode (4854) for "disaster relief".

We have recently returned from a 5 week trip to Canada and are looking forward to getting back to work. David will be available to help, instruct & supervise. That said, we plan to have a great time with our helpers as always, treating you members of our family.

We are a 10 min drive from Airlie beach in the Whitsundays with 72 islands to sail to. there are many ways a helper can help and learn about permaculture and bamboo. You will have your own room here with wifi and the food is fresh and healthy. We have self contained accommodation in the garden if you like. And if you love fishing we catch and cook seafood. Your days here as a helper count towards the 88 days you need for your second year visa. Please view my website for more info, using my weblink below.

Please make sure you let us know you are looking to get your visa days signed off so we can provide appropriate work from the cyclone recovery list...also be sure to answer the quest...

This is a 60ha peaceful, forested property in southeast Queensland, 70km from Gympie or Maryborough. 10ha of rainforest bordering a freshwater creek and swimming hole with lungfish, platypus and turtles. We are located in overlapping environments (temperate/tropical, coastal/inland), creating a vast diversity of life in a variety of habitats. We are slowly building shelter (timber, solar powered cottage) and outbuildings, mixed orchard, veggie garden and food trails. We have now completed new visitor quarters. Our general philosophy is to rehabilitate forest and ecosystem while eking out an existence for ourselves. Work includes weeding, gardening, orchard care, bee keeping, building/construction, tree planting, propagation and forest management. Electricity is from a stand alone(off grid)solar power system. Outside toilet, shower and fire bath. 30km to nearest shop. Accommodation for 2 people in separate wwoofers quarters, caravan or BYO. Cooking is done on fire or in cob oven{wood-f...

This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The closest train station is Beenleigh. Your own car is a plus. We welcome working holiday visa holders with good horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses !! In order to learn your daily task, routine and horses personalities, we will ask you to stay a minimum of 3 weeks. Long stays are really welcome. Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our racehorses. It's an everyday job starting depending of the sun (4.30am in summer and later on winter time). We start each morning training the horses, washing them and feeding them. All the retired horses need to be feed and watered as well. We need to feed and water all the horses again each night before dark. The ideal helpers will be positive, willing and with a some decent english. Because it’s a 30 hec property and there is always some...
