The work involves collecting bee hives for honey extraction and queen bee rearing this gives us plenty of time to explore. We live on a small acreage about 20 minutes outside of Bundaberg. It is in a quiet, country area with lots of animals - a naughty sausage dog, cats, geese, guinea fowl and ducks. We are living on a 200 hectare farm in Rollands Plains. Located on the mid north coast, surrounded by hills and valleys, great for bushwalking and exploring if that's what you`re into. We are predominantly an arable farm growing a large amount of garlic. Seasonally, we also grow egg plant, rhubarb, ginger, turmeric, pumpkin, yukon, artichoke, cucumber and corn, and whatever else we can put in the ground. All of our grown produce is certified organic. We do not use any sprays or pesticides. We also keep livestock. A herd of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats as well as chickens, ducks and guinea fowl.
