This is a Standardbred Race Horse (Harness Racing) farm at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. Would like to learn and look after a vineyard, distillery and winery this season, no experience is necessary. Established in 1998 and hosting HELPXers for over 15 years, it is the only certified organic winery in the Perth region. It is situated in the Swan Valley, 7km from Elenbrook and 15km from the Perth airport. The vineyard has 3,000 vines, a large house we live in, a machinery shed, and a winery/distillery on the property. Winemaking occurs during the summer months from January to March. A large, spacious room with a double bed, attached to the house, has a private entrance. Applications for COUPLES or TWO people are open now. Come to stay in our home from 10th May to 2nd June and help with our dogs, chickens and everyday tasks. I am looking for assistance to do cleaning, maintenance and gardening jobs around my Town House. To help with potting plants, do maintenance tasks e.g. drill holes, paint etc., and clean, etc. I am, generally, only able to offer short-term stays (5 to 7 days) and cannot always offer full board.
