We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (20) and Kinyin (17). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 20-25 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here! It is such an amazing time of year here in (nearly) Spring - it is all going on in the garden and in the bush! The hills are very beautiful. We are close to the city and a bus route but in the hills with koalas and kangaroos around... We have many projects on the go like woven fences from grape vines, drainage, pruning, path making, planting natives, building wicking beds, spring planting, mulching, bush regen, painting and more. The hills are very spectacular right now - gardening with a glorious view! We have been Wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here! We have just been featured in the Grassroots Magazine...

If youโ€™re interested in helping on a beef cattle farm, cuddling foals and experiencing the Aussie farm life, you are most welcome here. We have a number of building jobs going at the moment so if you are handy with mechanics, metal, wood or a paint brush, that would be very helpful to us. Your daily tasks would be to feed the animals in the morning and evening, and caring for the mare and foal, gardening and general farm chores or in the household. There is always something to do. It would be great if you know how to drive a manual vehicle and you can learn to drive a tractor or a quad here. In exchange you can choose between a cozy room or caravan with everything inside that you need and I provide food for all your meals. You prepare your own breakfast and lunch and in the evening we have a home cooked dinner together. We also have unlimited WiFi and a car that you can use to visit the local area. We are located on the edge of a small country town of Blayney in NSW, 3 hours w...

'REAL' AUSSIE OUTBACK EXPERIENCE FOR HELPERS WITH KIND HOSTS AND LOVELY, CLEAN PRIVATE QUEEN COTTAGE SET IN HOMESTEAD GARDEN A โ€˜real true blue' Aussie Outback Experience awaits on our family farm where an enthusiastic and motivated single or couple can feel 100% secure in a lovely little private cottage with queen bed set within our stunning outback homestead garden oasis on our 17,000 acre busy station growing cotton, merino sheep and grains. For one or two weeks we would appreciate help with Julie's very well maintained outback gardening and helping with homestead cleaning. Would prefer an applicant who has good experience with a chain saw for low pruning. Help with social media skills if we have time. Delicious fresh food supplied and enjoy some shared meals with Bruce and Julie to share each other's lives and learn from each other. We are on a large farm but this is NOT a farm work exchange but you can definitely see what happens on our busy Outback farm if that is of interest...

Hi, I'm Andrew, thanks for looking at our profile, We are a family of 3 living (Dad and 2 big kids) in the suburbs of Newcastle, about 15 mins drive from the beach. I have 2 kids at home (Liam - 18yo & Anna - 20yo), we enjoy cafes and going to the beach and swimming in the pool. (The photos are some of our local beaches). We also like cycling and playing games, chilling out and chatting with friends. We attend a local church each week and Liam attends the local school which is just up the road. I spend lots of my time renovating (fixing/building) houses, including the house we live in, and love to have people to work with. The house we live in is currently being renovated and an extension is being constructed. Right now I really need help with timber framing - putting the house together - we are currently up to the floor frames and working on getting the rest of the house extension up. Help at work: Generally we ask you to help out in the renovations about 21 hours per week each (n...

Hello! I'm a single mum, managing 3 kids, a dog and maintaining a house and garden on my own! My house is in Willagee, its a great location, close to Fremantle and accessible to other areas of Perth! I'm looking for helper/s to come stay on the 2 weeks that I don't have my kids to help me smash out some projects (such as restoring my back lawn, sanding, painting, gardening, chopping wood etc etc). Must also love dogs, I have a 1 year old kelpie x border collie called Lumi, she is friendly and has a great temperament. I would like helpers to assist with walks when I have to go to work and help me with training her! I'm looking for people that are handy, knowledgeable about DIY, that are confident in the tasks/projects they take on. I would provide instruction and materials, however I am busy enough, hence tasks would be completed by helpers on their own. I will check in throughout the progress of the tasks. I have a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom house in Willagee. It is situated on approx 80...

We are a busy family household with 3 teenagers (17/2x15), nestled into the slopes of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. We have a rambling old house with a large bush garden on three acres of bush. We back onto Wellington Park, with immediate access to bush walks and nature. Our house is a fifteen-minute drive from the centre of Hobart and other service areas such as Sandy Bay or Kingston. Buses are available. Check the Metrotas website for timetables. Half our household is vegetarian (but not vegan). The others eat meat (flexibly). Food is multinational, and guests who like to cook are welcome. We have two crazy (but friendly) dogs, so guests who know not to leave doors open are appreciated. Next vacancies likely to be 2nd week of September. We appreciate help with DIY repairs and maintenance, timber work, help with gardening, housekeeing, cooking, duck and chicken rearing and dog walking on the beach. Fishing, snorkelling, and rainforest walks can help occupy your spare time. We hatched two goslings in mid July and are hand-rearing them, real characters! We start 4 hours outside work at 08.00 hr, five mornings a week and at 9 am on Sundays. Saturday is your day off. So most of the work will be outside, based out of a well-equipped workshop and/or in our vegetable garden and hen and duck coops. โ€ Opportunities on your day off include fishing, sailing, snorkeling, weather permitting of course, rainforest walks and river swimming (Mossman River at The Gorge) and free nature tours on crocodile spotting boats on the Daintree River with the #Daintreerivercruisecentre (as Dave sometimes drives their boats and tour-guides for them when needed). We are near the Shoalwater Marine Park and Penguin Island 40mins from Perth city centre. Very close to public transport, cafes and library. Ideal for beach walking, diving, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing and windsurfing (beach is 60 metres away). Accommodation would take form of a fully insulated cute tiny garden room with access to undercover cooking area and bathroom. IT is small so please See photos. On week days we are usually working in Perth so we cant provide meals, but a well-stocked supermarket is 200 metres away. When possible we can take turns for meals if possible. We average 2/3 hours a day painting, plumbing gardening and other repairs and can negotiate best time to do that, for example maybe itโ€™s more convenient to do two longer days during the week.Greg is usually available to help you with your car or take you fishing, boating or sightseeing if youโ€™re willing to free him up from his other commitments. When you email please let us know when you plan to get to Pe...

Hi there ๐Ÿ˜Š Iโ€™m Sherree, and my dog Ziggy and I live in our beautiful home in South Fremantle, Western Australia. Your accommodation is a cute pop top caravan parked undercover at the front of my house, right next to the front door. It is self contained with a double bed, seating area, fridge, cooktop, kettle, toaster, air conditioning and running water in the van. You have your own bathroom inside the house, downstairs. The exchange: 2 hours of help per person per night stayed (e.g 7 nights = 14 hours of help). Minimum stay of 7 nights. Food is not included. I need help with general household cleaning duties, organisation, gardening and tidying up outside. Alternatively if you have special skills or an area of study, it may be something that we can use and exchange! Are you amazing at organisation, a designer, a carpenter or have experience in renovation? Do you know how to frame art, or can you draft proof a room? I want to know about your talents and utilise them in our exchange...

Hi happy travellers! Looking for people now! We are looking for a couple or 2 friends to help us around our house doing gardening and painting as well as cleaning. We are a mature aged couple working from home and are looking to find an enthusiastic couple, or single person, who can help with general garden maintenance , eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc. In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom ( see in photos below) in our lovely home. Accomodation and all meals are provided. ( free wi-fi is also available). We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, and often have kangaroos and wallabies feeding on our property, but still only 3km from the main highway and station. (Melb CBD is 1 hour via train.) It is essential that you are a dog lover! (We have 2) Our 2 Whippets are quite old now, but very friendly and lazy! This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer, to share our easy going family life style. We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only. The work involves weeding, moving mulch, splitting...

We are a family of five living a self reliant lifestyle, on a small isolated block. We produce our own food, including goat's yoghurt & cheese, wild or raised meats, eggs, fruit and veggies from our established gardens. We have no income from our property as we are always wanting to become more self-sufficient, so guests must be self motivated and hard working, and be able to contribute skills. We do not allow the use of chemicals (shampoo, sunscreen deodorants etc...) as our grey-water goes directly onto the food gardens, but we do supply our own home made organic soaps and creams. Our aim is to create a co-operative living space, so opportunities arise for short and long term or permanent stay. We have three children who we homeschool using natural learning methods. Travellers with children are very welcome. Please visit our website via link below. We are randomly online and prefer telephone contact to make arrangements.

I have a house with a 0.25ha garden that is part of a larger community . We are about 10 mins drive, or an easy hitch, from Byron Bay (and all its tourist attractions); Brunswick or Mullumbimby and 2 mins from the beach. I`m always glad of help with my 1/4 ha - projects like building the vegie garden; trimming back the ever enroaching bush, or projects around the house. The arrangement is 2 hours in exchange for accommodation (14 hours a week), looking after your own food but sharing our kitchen. Gondwana, the larger community that Lotus Ponds is part of, is about 50 people with a community house and hall with weekly community dinner and meditations, yoga, table tennis & pool tables with levels of activity that depend on who is here. The people living here change more often than I update this ! But typically are inspired by some combination of Dance (5Rhythms, Open-Floor, Contact); Permaculture; Surfing; Osho; Personal Growth; Cooking; Music and Nature; in the rest of Gondwana ...

This is a small regenerative herb farm located in the beautiful Huon Valley at Allenโ€™s Rivulet, about 35 minutes south of Hobart. The time is minimum two week stay in exchange for a Regenerative Farming Certificate from our College Living Earth College www.livingearthcollege.org We are often looking for a calm, responsible and self organised person or couple to help care for the farm. This involves around 3 hours per day of steady daily care of the animals and gardens. Tasks include: Regenerative Farming feeding and checking ducks and chickens, watering plants and garden beds when needed, weeding and tending the herb garden, keeping a general eye on the place. The herb garden is an important part of the farm, so we are looking for someone who is organised, observant and able to self manage at times. This ideally suits people who enjoy quiet places, caring for land, and having a simple daily rhythm. In exchange you will stay in our cosy cob house on the farm or in our spar...

Delicious fresh food supplied and enjoy some shared meals with Bruce and Julie to share each other's lives and learn from each other.

The room available is a comfortable downstairs room with its own outside access. All other facilities need to be shared. Welcome to Byron Hinterland paradise! We live on an amazing 120 acre bush property about 25 minutes from Bryon Bay, 15 mins from Mullumbimby on an intention community with 6 other families in a beautiful valley, Our land is a wildlife reserve with plentiful native animals about. Itโ€™s gorgeous here with a pristine creek at the door step, waterfalls and national park just up the road. I have a big old Queenslander house, which I moved to the land 30 years ago. My place is like a little community within the community- but we all have our private space! I need some HELP as i am moving back into my house after being away for a few years. This means sorting and unpacking boxes, moving some light furniture and helping me decide what to keep or give away. There will also be some cleaning involved and if you can fix things that would be amazing. I am an open, fun mature woman is both a counsellor and artist . I have an arts practice and also work in remote indigenous arts centres in th...
