I live in Kuranda, but travel often so plenty of opportunities to see new places. I'm a beekeeper that works between Cairns and Cooktown. This time of year my work is situated north of cairns so there plenty opportunity to explore north were not alot of tourist go. The work involves collecting bee hives for honey extraction and queen bee rearing this gives us plenty of time to explore. In spare time we can go to the local Rivers (Baron Gorge), local swimming holes or hiking. Task also involve house work and gardening. Seeking We're looking for someone or a couple to help out with the garden and general property maintenance. Duties vary from gardening, orchard maintenance, lawn cutting, fence repair, small building/repair jobs (for any keen handyperson) and just general tidying up (window cleaning, oiling exterior and decks, cleaning gutters, some painting, etc.). Skills required are: outdoors person willing to get dirty. gardening experience or handyperson skills would be great but not essential.
