Come share art, nature, and a simple life in Sardinia Hi, I’m Gaspar, a street artist from Argentina. I've been living in the mountains of Sardinia for five years, just 15 minutes from the sea. I perform family-friendly comedy shows across the island, and my home is a space for creativity, nature, and good company. I’m looking for a volunteer to help with daily household tasks and, if interested, join me in the world of street performing. You don’t need to be an artist—just responsible, open-minded, and ready to live simply and collaboratively. What kind of help do I need? Light housework (cleaning, cooking, watering plants, feeding my cat). Helping maintain a welcoming space for guests. Join me at shows (setup, basic tech, logistics). Sharing everyday life in the mountains. Sometimes coming on a 1 or 2 days artistic tour with me around Sardinia (I’ll cover all expenses: transport, food, and accommodations). Work schedule Maximum 20–25 hours per week. Flexible hours, organi...

Hello! I am looking for helpers to come and join me here in The Vesterålen & Lofoten islands in North Norway. Here I have my small guesthouse and ever lasting development project :-) The help needed is both the guesthouse tasks and help with maintenance and developing of this special place. I have ongoing building project soon finished, new rooms to decorate, old houses and wooden boats needing paint and repair, a garden to make nice, stored summer stuff to move out and boats and bikes to prepp for outing. After months with building project here are materials/wood to tidy and hopefully reuse to build benches or chicken house...(If someone handy and creative turns up). The guesthouse has the sweetest rooms, a nice summer restaurant and sometimes a bar with music. I have traditional wooden boats, bicycles, old houses, nice view and outdoor area with potential - and a lot to care for. If you would like to join me here to help out for some weeks I would love to hear from you today. Pl...

Hi we are Justine and Richard. We are currently in the process of converting some farm out buildings in a quiet rural area of Lincolnshire into a two bedroom house (Cribbage Cottage) and we are looking for general help around the site. Not necessarily with the construction work but with gardening,, painting, digging, cleaning and tidying. Richard is an architect and Justine is a fine arts student. We live on site in a large comfortable mobile home with our two dogs and four cats. Our guest accomodation is a little converted fully connected caravan with it's own private space. We are looking for around 25 flexible hours help per week and will try to find you some interesting and creative tasks wherever possible. In northern Spain, on the CAMINO DE SANTIAGO, we are running an albergue/ hostel for pilgrims, for the 8th year in 2025. It is located right ón the original Camino Primitivo, so pilgrims will pass here on their way to Santiago de Compostela. If you want to be a part of a wonderful Camino-experience in 2025 (apr - okt), please read on.. ABOUT US..: Between beautiful mountain slopes, the albergue/ hostel is situated in the heart of the small pueblo of Salas (Asturias). We sometimes have up to 35 pelgrims staying, divided into 3 shared and 5 private rooms. In high season, more than 250 pilgrims pass every day, after sometimes having walked for more than 2 weeks. Some of them will stop to relax and regain their energy. We'll support them with healthy home-made food, fresh drinks and a big smile. We will offer them a vegetarian communal diner in the evening (for which we have great reviews!!) and an energy-boosting breakfast in the morning. Some of it is donation-based (no charge), s...

We are originally a family of 6, I, Carina, my four daughters and my husband, Pär. Since last year all girls have, more or less, left home for further studies. My beloved Pär died 2018 after a long time with sickness. We started to welcome HelpXers to our Uddevalla home 2014 and since then we have met so many interesting, wonderful, helpful, caring and skilled people - men and women, boys and girls, who in different ways have helped us with various practical matters, but also contributed to increase our understanding of the world and letting us become their friends - in many cases, I believe, for life! I have promised Pär to keep and care for his old home in Grundsund and it is my hope to be able to. We have, therefore, two properties to welcome you to! We offer accommodation (your own room) in one of our two homes, food and friendship in exchange for some practical help. Both indoor and outdoor help is needed and you should be prepared to do some household work as well. Most help ...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing too complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. Weeding, pruning trees, making paths. We are looking for help from two strong and healthy individuals to assist with a house redecorating project and gardening, trimming trees, path making etc. This requires physical strength and stamina. Please note, we cannot host anyone with any pre existing health issues, physical or mental (we are not medically trained to manage such conditions). We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the...

We are Morna and Callum and our three children, Colin (5), Lyra (3) and baby Robbie. Last year we moved into our remote house in the most beautiful location on the south west of the island of Kerrera. We have many plans for the surrounding land and need help to make these happen! We raised a polytunnel this year and are in the process of rabbit-proof fencing an area for a large vegetable garden. We have chickens already and are fencing in a pond for ducks and are keen to get bees. There are lots of odd jobs such as painting, woodwork, house improvements, fencing, strimming, car maintenance, path building. The more permanent jobs are focussed around getting the garden set up and producing food and long-term building projects such as building our workshop. We would welcome someone or a couple willing to help with any aspect of our lives out here. That might be helping around the home, cooking, spending time with the kids, gardening, building, etc. Let us know what you are interested i...

We are a pretty colourful bunch of nice people composed of an austrian and a middle east family and long standing international friends. Actually living here permanently: Feri (1982), Lise (1975) and Mia (1942). The children Layla (2013) and Aisha (2015) are coming regularly to see us. We also have a lot of different visitors here from all over the world. We live here in Lower Austria at the beginning of the alps in one of the beautiful natural spring water protection areas of the city of Vienna. (100 km south of the city - by train within 1 hour). Its the last small village before the Höllental (hell canion) at the foot of the mountain Rax near the river Schwarza. We are on a hill, hidden behind ancient giant coniferous trees. The farm was built over 150 years ago as a guest house, then used as a simple farmhouse and then converted in the style of a century-turnvilla. From the original stable became another residential house. The old house is still very original (as 100 years ago) an...

Martin and Lisa from Czech just left. Now Louis from Mexico is here and then we still have a free slot in May. Later will Ryan and Katie from UK arrive. This year will be a garden and an outside painting year. A new greenhouse (complete kit) will be built and maybe a small shed. In May we expect to need a lot of help with our vegetable garden. As always now days, everything depend on the weather. Looks like an early spring this year, but as the old people used to say, always a snowstorm after Easter. Susanne and I, Anders, bought this old school 10 years ago. The overall goal is to finish the renovation of our houses and run a small B&B in the "new school house." We live here on the edge of the Forest, in the nearly 200 year Old Schoolhouse, with our two small Jack Russells Wilda and Freja. We are both retired, but still feel we are just over 25. Our lifestyle is this country life, to follow nature and the seasons. Most of the heavy work is done by now. Almost time to start all o...

CURRENTLY SEEKING A SINGLE MALE / FEMALE or COUPLE, but please feel free to ask if you have some availability either now or in the future. A MINIMUM COMMITMENT of at least one month is required please. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. Katie and I own a small crofting home in the rural heart of the Scottish West Highlands in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is essential. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a message here if you are interested in a placement with us. We are particularly keen on couples with the male having some basic building or gardening / home growing sk...

Our location is in the Olympic area of Seefeld, about 300 meters from the road connecting Leutasch to Telfs, nestled within meadows and woods. You will be amazed by the stunning views! Our farm consists of 88 acres; all permanent pasture (except a small wood and kitchen garden). We farm livestock - about 200 sheep, about 20 Devon cattle, some poultry and a retired sow. We are licenced by the Soil Association and follow their organic standards. We sell our produce in the local Ilfracombe Farmers' Market and on line. Our sheep flocks are kept for the production of lamb and mutton, and also wool, knitting yarn and felted "sheepskins". Our cattle herd is registered with the Devon Cattle Breeders' Society and consists of pedigree polled Red Ruby Devons. They are mainly sold as pedigree breeding stock but we occasionally have a steer killed for beef. We have planted a small orchard of fruit trees, mainly apples, cider apples, pears and perry pears. We have also recently re-introduced beekeeping to our activities and currently have three beehives. Our general aim is to farm in a humane and sustainable way, restore and maintain the traditional landscape features of ...

We are an operating farm. Mostly silviculture. We farm mostly trees. We are situated in one of the largest Cork Tree areas in the world.Mediterranean forest ecoystems are considered one of the most important ecosystems right after Virgin Forests. We also have lots of pine trees both for lumber and also for pine nuts. Cork and pine nut trees are a very sustainable resource as their lifespan is over 200 years and they produce cork and pine nuts during that time. We pride ourselves for being an environmentally responsible farm and we enjoy teaching volunteers and visitors about what we do. We are a Forest Stewardship Council certified farm. FSC is a worldwide recognized organization that certifies socially and environmentally respectful organizations like ours, that harbour and follow, strict guidelines for workers, neighbouring populations and the environment. We are audited on a regular basis. From the agricultural antiques you may be cleaning and organizing, to working in the gardens. W...

Absolutely amazing experience for volunteers that want to be part of a dynamic team that is renovating a beautiful art deco building into a social and cultural getaway in Mol, Belgium Although the place is called a Casino, it never had anything to do with gambling: this term was given 100y ago to community centers built by big companies to support the social coherence for their employees. The building is a previous hotel, restaurant, cafe, cultural center that has been abandoned for 25y which we are reviving now ((ground floor nearly ready!) and turn it back into its original grandeur with the same functions, but focus on doing good for the community: do programs to tackle loneliness, poverty and access to healthy food, especially for people who have less. Our dream is that people will come here knowing there is always fun stuff to do or to learn, they are always welcome, whatever believes they have. We will give free coffee, free meals, free access to art and culture, and always free...

Devon - We would currently love some help with house alterations, so someone with building, plastering, carpentry skills would be welcomed. At other times there is always help needed with the garden - clearing, weeding, tidying, mowing, strimming, cutting back etc. We live in the South Hams of Devon - an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are a retired couple but still run our musical instrument repairs business and we are always in need of some help. We love to play traditional folk music in local pubs and also for morris dancing. We live in an old cottage in a village with a coffee shop and a pub. We are looking for someone to help who is strong and able and thoroughly practical. We have 2 ‘rescue’ dogs - a friendly terrier and a Romanian street dog who takes a little while to get used to new friends. We anticipate help for approx 4-5 hours per day, depending on the task, so overall 20 - 25 hours per week, which can be spread out according to the job being done at the tim...

We’re still in need volunteers for lambing season from now on to mid of June (and even later). Come help us lamb all of our sheep and experience the wonders of life! Assist over 500 sheep in giving birth and bottle feed tiny little lambs and all the other disgusting and cute things that go along with it. Lambing season is hard work and we work in shifts of 9 hours, but with 5-10 volunteers living in the house you’ll have time for fun in the sun, 2 days off each week with a household shift (cooking and cleaning). Lambing truly is a once in a lifetime experience and a great opportunity to learn about farming, sheep, and Iceland in general. The shifts are long, the days are longer, but a rewarding and satisfying experience is waiting for you! Message us on WhatsApp or on HelpX. My WhatsApp number is above. Send me (Caroline, who runs the HelpX) a message! You can also message the farmer directly via the Facebook link below, named after Beggi the farmer's cat! Profile picture is of a cat...

**For fast response please contact mobile through WhatsApp/ Telegram. We're on the island of La Palma, west of Tenerife, reachable by direct flights and boats and cheap connections from Tenerife or mainland Spain. Ask for travel advice! The project is set in a dramatic location surrounded by nature with panoramic views out to the sea and the UNESCO preserved coastline where there are beaches, ports and hikes all accessible from the project by walking. There's also hikes up into the mountains and Forrest above us. A little about me; I travelled on a low budget for several years throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and parts of Africa often working in seasonal positions, like in fruit orchards, to sustain my travels. I began to spend more and more time in many wonderful places though volunteering in farms and eventually I came to the decision that I wanted to create a little Eden too; Somewhere I didn't have to leave and where I could put my own personal roots in the grou...

Last news: People with camper or similar are very welcome in this moment for organize togheter the activity of next Spring! This is a centuries-old organic farm in the inland hills of the middle Molise, along the banks of the Biferno River, halfway from the Adriatic Sea and the Matese mountains, where we often go hiking. The bio region is made up of arable and arboreal pastures alternating with oak, hornbeam and ash woods, mainly. The integrated agroforestry system allows us to cultivate dozens of species of crops from herbaceous to arboreal, facilitated by a high biodiversity area, one of the highest in Europe. The potential volunteer aspirant can have a varied experience, from taking care of the garden to helping to build small green building structures, from working in the gardens to beekeeping, from attending to the management of no-till crops to the maintenance of forests, from turning fruit and vegetables in dehydrated or jam to planting arboreal plants. There are lodgings in sel...

The helper accommodation is a double room in a 200 year old Cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. There’s woodland above and it’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 35 mins walk from Stroud town centre. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep and lovely views. From the garden...great for forest walks and exploring the Cotswolds. English, Spanish and French is spoken. I have my child with me half the week.. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week in an awake household. The work is varied but currently there are raised beds to make for growing vegetables, a chicken run to make, chickens to feed and care for, gardening, cooking, cleaning , or generally helping with whatever task is being done at the time, though no need of experience as I'm happy to teach techniques. Anyone with motivation ...

As HelpXers, we are looking for a couple or 2 friends, or a single person who is happy with their own company, to stay for a minimum of two weeks but preferably much longer. We need people who are experienced in DIY and/or gardening skills. Ideally, we would like to have HelpXers to stay for a season, so they can learn the ways of the site and get on with tasks without too much supervision. Current projects involve gardening, flower and vegetable plots, and the continued landscaping of what was a field, grazed by cattle, into wildlife friendly natural gardens with water features and woodland paths . There is also help needed with some woodwork and painting/wood preserving. Other garden tasks could include maintenance such as, mowing, laying paths, strimming, tree pruning, and weeding. We also have an entertaining flock of chickens who need looking after! Independent accommodation and all food in exchange for helping for about 24 hours per week. There is fibre optic WiFi /broadban...

////*2025 updates: we are filling the free spaces for the coming season, and will be ready to accept first volunteers probably in late April, definitely in May (depends on the snow/weather). July and August are already full//// If the photos did the job (stiring your interest, that is), you must be a nature-and-mountain-and-beautiful-scenery-lover, so a big part of who we are happy to live and work with for a while is already done. If you are not discouraged by mostly a lot of (could be) quite repetitive physical work, then you will not suffer either:) So, to the work first: most of the time it will be earth and plants related. Matej has a job/business/vocation in the world of herbs and during late spring/summer/early autumn there is always some picking/weeding/drying/processing of wild/cultivated plants to do. We still grow some berries for processing and sale, but reoriented more into selfsufficent farming: growing as much food we can for our own use, which again means planting, we...

Hi everyone. My name's Claud I'm a beekeeper and a horse trainer I live on a small island south of Greece called Kythira. The island is full of beautiful beaches and green small forests. I owe nearly 100 beehives and I need help maintaining the equipment and taking care of them. I also help a friend ride and train and take care of his horses. I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

This season, we are after people who know about gardening, we want people who can help us with weeding and mulching shrub beds. We are an easy-going English couple who speak some Spanish, living in a stone built farmhouse. We have nearly 1.7 hectares of land, loosely run on permaculture and organic principals. We grow veg and soft fruit and have established an orchard and trees for firewood. Our farmhouse has been eco-modernised with solar hot water, heat pump, double glazing etc. which we share with 2 cats & a boisterous dog. Ongoing jobs include; grass cutting, weeding, strimming, fence building, painting, wood treating, cutting and stacking firewood, harvesting and preserving of our produce, drystone wall building (some experience needed) and help with other jobs as they come up. We'd love you to come and help if you have a cheerful and mature outlook, common sense and are able to work on your own. If you're willing to cook during you stay that would be great. We do not ...

After months with building project here are materials/wood to tidy and hopefully reuse to build benches or chicken house...(If someone handy and creative turns up).

We also have a large recreation room, workshop etc. We are always fairly busy with side projects and building work but also like to take the time to enjoy ourselves. We are looking for around 25 flexible hours help per week and will try to find you some interesting and creative tasks wherever possible. In return we offer all food, accomodation and hopefully a bit of entertainment. We will also provide towels, ...

My name is Patrick, and I live with my two children (16,19) in a classic “post founding time - 1903” 13-party house, located within walking distance of the center of Vienna. Im one of the founders of "mariahilfer i" - a project which involves transforming the current house into a showcase for circular economy / building renovation / extension / Energy and Sustainable Design, Art & Culture As you can imagine, this requires many different skills and assistance from various disciplines and perspectives, ranging from conceptual to hands-on work. The project encompasses at least three main areas: 1) Planning for a house greening tower-terrace 2) Installing photovoltaic panels on the roof 3) Renovating the attic and house terrace And of course Assistance with various tasks around this (like organising repair cafes & faires, Street festivals / Concerts etc) You will have the opportunity to stay in a separate apartment with a kitchen, shower, and toilet.

Dear Helpers, We are currently seeking one or two helpers for the summer of 2025, starting mid-May to early November. Our location is in the Olympic area of Seefeld, about 300 meters from the road connecting Leutasch to Telfs, nestled within meadows and woods. You will be amazed by the stunning views! The name originates from the Ropfer woods, adjacent to the internationally renowned hotel "Interalpen." The breathtaking vista of the "Mieminger Plateau" and the upper Inn Valley, combined with the serene natural surroundings, offers a remarkable experience to all visitors. **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!** We provide a HelpX experience, but you must be legally allowed to work in the EU (e.g., with a working visa).
