Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. I live in an old farm and farmhouse in Normandy. I have converted a cottage into a holiday cottage with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and one barn into another. I also had a Yurt (now gone but the pictures are still there !!) and a campsite. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, I could always do with an extra pair of hands. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. 2 Small farms turned into the one near the West Coast of Clare. We keep lots of farm animals like cattle, horses, donkeys and sheep. We produce a wide range of vegetables for ourselves and some for selling. We have two children, went to primary Steiner/ Waldorf school; Frank (25) and Fina(21) and they love having volunteers around the place. Fina is doing equine studies and Frank studies horticulture and loves travelling.
