Essentially, we are looking for an individual to assist in the day-to-day operation of our small farm on the western coast of Denmark. We keep approximately 12 horses- In part this position would involve general barn work- stall cleaning, feeding, turnouts, fence mending, etc. Free time comes and goes. In January 2023 I purchased an old farmhouse with 2 hectares of land. Currently I am renovating the house to make it liveable for my family and to have a guestroom. This is a homestead in the countryside in the northern part of the beautiful island of Bornholm, 3 km from the nearest town (and supermarket), Allinge, and 3km to the ruins of Hammershus. There are a lot of nice walks nearby, to beaches, nature and shelters. Normally I live alone, receiving sons and guests for shorter and longer stays throughout the year. This summer and autumn we are making renovations in the house and annexes. For much of the work no construction skills are required. We welcome helping visitors for a few days or longer stays. I am living on a Biodynamic Demeter farm in west Jylland. Here we would like to build a community where we can live of the land, and sell some things. Now we are selling meat, salamis, cheese, butter, olive oil, juice, honey and wine. There is a clearing in the forest 3ha big where now my pigs live when they are out. We are a fun-loving, busy family (father and 3 adult daughters) that run a golf course and have horses as our hobby. It would be great if someone would like to help us look after the golf course -mowing grass - raking bunkers etc. An interest in golf, working outside and being flexible would be appreciated. We could also use some help inside in our bar/cafeteria, serving beer, coffee, cake and washing up etc.. We live 20 mins from Aarhus - the 2nd largest town in Denmark.

We have a 17ha organic farm with commanding views of the fjord and an organic B&B. We are Biologist/Zoologists. Jens is Danish and Nan English. We have 2 bi-lingual children (10+15yrs). On the farm, we have sheep, horses and cats. There have great views of the fjord from all over our land; with it's rolling hills, grazing, woodland, ponds and streams. Three ha are situated on an island in the fjord (bird reserve). We also have a fruit orchard and kitchen garden. As we try to use as much of our own produce as possible, we are jamming and juicing etc. The 4 sides of our thatched farm (from 1777) form a sheltered courtyard oasis in which our guests love to relax. We would like to welcome people that wants to come and visit Denmark and would want to help us with our "little" project. We are a couple, 42 and 44 years, who live on this beautiful old farm/homestead. It's located on Fyn, a perfect, central place to visit the rest of Denmark from. It consists of a 200m2 house, 1000m2 farm buildings, garden, fields and a private forrest. At the garden also lives ponies, donkeys, goats, pigs, kalves,sheep, cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens and ducks. As neighbors to the Opera House and within walking distance to downtown Copenhagen you'll get to experience the cultural city from the harbor side. We are doing simple paint jobs, advanced electrical work, plumbing, cabinet making and traditional woodwork. Experienced craftsmen of all relevant trades wanted. 20 hours help per week where we often practice "work one day, relax one day", and occasionally sail in the greater Copenhagen area. At the moment, no electricity or running water on board (work in progress), but wood oven heating and gas cooktop is available. On workdays we prepare and eat lunch together. We are a dual nationality family of 4. Amanj is originally from Kurdistan and Mie is from Denmark. Valdemar is the oldest boy (7), and Gorm is 4. During the summer Amanj has a busy time managing the island’s Pizza place. We live in a spacious farm house built in 1935 which sits on the edge of a beautiful pond. We love meeting new people and would like help looking after the garden, house or the boys. We live on a very special island in southern Denmark, north of Lolland which is north of Germany! It has a population of approximately 450 people which increases during the summer and autumn months, when people come on vacation and then to help pluck the tons of apples, pears and plums grown here. Because of this there is a very unusually high amount of different nationalities here (10 - 15) and several people have in fact stayed after coming here through Helpx or Woofing!
