We have a 3 acre homestead on the rural East side of the island of maui in Hana. We are blessed to be the custodians to this special part of "the last Hawaiian place", rich with cultural and spiritual significance. The farm is a private homestead consisting of a sampling of fruit trees such as papaya, banana, jackfruit, starfruit, inga, sapote, soursop, coffee, lychee, orange, lemon, surinam cherry, mountain apple and coconut. As we expand to growing vegetables, we are looking for hard working mature couples traveling together who will appreciate the experience in paradise and be open to the cultural exchange unique to the Hawaiian islands. Workers with skills in carpentry or other trades are prioritized. A few chickens and ducks for ambience, eggs, and companionship are free ranging and two dogs from the Rescue Foundation won the lottery when they were adopted to live at Hale Pueo (house of the owl). The 'bunkhouse' accommodation for visiting guests and the cabin are solar powered wi...

We are a tropical organic farm/eco sanctuary on the beautiful lush north shore of maui. We host ongoing personal retreat guests and offer a daily two hour morning practice of yoga, aerial yoga play, and sound healing. We also have a recording studio, spa and offer public sound healing ceremonies. We have a work exchange program and are looking for support staff for our yoga retreats. The scope of the work may include help with cleaning, landscaping, hosting, etc. This is NOT an internship for teaching yoga or other classes. We require a minimum of 1-month commitment (preferably 2 months) with 25 hours per week. In exchange, we offer accommodations, meals, and classes. We love hosting couples, but do host single travelers from time to time to meet gaps! 1. Gardening and landscaping 2. Housekeeping and Breakfast Prep Couples are encouraged to apply!

We are located in the beautiful upcountry area of maui with a gorgeous ocean view and an incredible sunset each night. Our nearest town, Ulupalakua, is just two miles away and is host to the historic Ulupalakua Ranch Store and Maui’s only winery. We are a homestead, start-up apiary, gift shop, and roadside stand. We are virtually new and I think you will find a variety off things you can do to help us out. The farm is host to the Maui Honey Bee Sanctuary. We are building an observation beehive and also enjoy being an advocate for bees and beekeeping while educating the public about honeybees. We plan to expand our own apiary and harvest our own honey later this year. Our property is an off-the-grid camp style setup with outdoor camp kitchen. If you are intending to come in the near future, you may have to provide your own tent in order for us to accommodate you. We have space in the camp area to accommodate more people however our current number of provided tents are currently...

Small upcountry farm in Makawao, maui. Beautiful rural setting in Maui with natural little valley/gulch to be tamed and cultivated. Currently the gulch area has wild coffee plants growing that we have harvested some beans from. We are need of help with clearing of land, carpentry, irrigation, fencing and odd jobs around the place. There is a small vegetable/ flower garden that can always use some helping hands. We also have a small saw mill that we plan on getting operational to produce lumber from the many eucalyptus trees that have been taken down. There are 2 dogs and four people that live on the property to keep you company. You will have your own rustic space in a shipping container equip with tiny kitchen and a shared bathroom. Farm is within 1.5 miles of Makawao town with a bus stop (we are uphill from Makawao). 20 minutes from airport. WI-FI available.
