We are a family living near beautiful mountains and lake Hāwea. Blairnhall is a historic building and was built by Donald and Elsbeth McKlennan in 1872 when they settled here from Scotland. They gifted part of the land they purchased for St Ninnians Church and Hāwea Flat school to be built. They also baked bread for the community, as well as brewing various types of wines from the heritage trees they planted on the property. Some are incredibly still bearing fruit today! We have four pretty full on loving dogs, 2 cats and lots of chickens!! It's really important to us that you are motivated to help, prepared to have fun, love and respect animals. Things that we have learnt from having helpers stay in our home: *We do not enjoy having visitors constantly on their devices/phones in our living area and encourage you to make the most of the beautiful lakes and walks on your time off. We have kayaks and push bikes you are welcome to respectfully use. *Food is incredibly expensiv...

My farm, located near Kaniva, is a commercial agricultural enterprise in the Wimmera region of western Victoria (midway between Melbourne and Adelaide). It has been owned by my family for more than 130 years. In 2006 I purchased the major portion of the productive land from the family Estate, and now annually crops nearly 425ha to spring wheat, barley, oats, field beans and canola. I am fully responsible for the management and on-going development of the farm, with a "share-farmer" undertaking many of the farm labour components. I do not have enough work to keep you busy long-term, but I certainly have enough for 3-5 days. The deal I am offering is that you help me with general farm chores (e.g. burning up heaps of branches, some fencing repairs, cleaning up branches under trees, caring for my lawns and garden, cutting up firewood, planting farm trees, etc) and I provide free meals and accommodation and a modest hourly payment. Depending on the day/weather we would work for 4-5 ho...

Spring is arriving as we speak :) Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is a beautiful place to experience Vancouver Island`s great outdoors this fall :) Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, douglas firs, maples and alder trees. You can often see deer, raccoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the river’s pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighborhood is the access point to many scenic nature hiking/ walking and biking trails. The ocean photo was taken a couple of miles from my home and all other photos are of my house area or looking downwards at the r...

Looking for one or two helpers from May 19th. Work is feijoa harvesting and weeding/mulching the blueberries. Accommodation is in the “blueberry cottage,' a self-contained flat that is across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi. I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard goodies you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make a big lunch at the house for everyone (lots of home made bread and cakes) and the afternoons/evenings are your own. I'll keep the larder stocked with whatever food you like, we don't eat much meat but can supply it. We have bikes for your use and are surrounded by wineries, or there's always a shady tree to nap under. (La description en français se trouve plus bas !) *UPDATE FOR JAN-FEB-MARCH 2025* **We are presently looking for 1 HelpXer with experience in construction/manual work to help organize the garage and deconstruct an old barn!** We are a small Buddhist community living in the forest close to Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. Kia ora travelers! My whare (home) is in the middle of beautiful valley, surrounded by native rainforest, birds and organic gardens. We build this eco house using local clay (adobe in-situ), green roofs, and much help from volunteers. We did a lot of 'woofing' ourselves, before settling here in the rural Far North. A quiet area, perfect to enjoy nature and country living. The closest shop, the famous "Bush Fairy Dairy", is 7 km away, Taipa Beach 20 km, and Auckland 350 km. If you have no car, I can pick you up from the bus station in Taipa. I am part of the Honeymoon Valley Landcare Trust. We protect native forest, birds, lizards and insects by trapping predators and eradicating invasive weeds. You could help me with organic/permaculture gardening: vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, mowing, brush-cutting, compost-making, maintenance and fixing things (basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, chopping firewood, etc. I have chickens. My neighbours brings their cows over to mu...

Where I live is Australia's best kept secret. I'm close to deserted beaches, the Snowy River, lakes and mountains. I live here with my dog, 3 horses and the abundant wildlife that calls this place home. I need help with renovating a Tiny House on Wheels which will be Helper's accommodation when completed so would love to hear from people who have experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical skills. I also need help with some fencing and garden maintenance. Alternatively I need the help of an experienced horse rider to help my start my Australian Stock Horse mare. Accommodation is in a comfortable caravan. Every evening 50 or so kangaroos graze in my neighbour's paddock and that will be your view. It really is idyllic. This is a tranquil place. A Spiritual place. A place to come and rest and recharge your batteries. Lots of native birds call my place home. I have 3 horses but are suitable for beginners or intermediate riders. However I have a miniature horse...

I need help all the year to maintain the big farm (orange and olive harvest, trees pruning, pick-up fallen oranges, and so on..) If you come, you will have your own room (1 for a couple or separate), and access to all the rest of the house (kitchen, bathroom...). I like to share the meal, and provide food if you want to cook. You also can use WI-FI connection. You could enjoy the life between the farm and the city of Skala Lakonia, wich offer a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, and any kind of stores. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow time to learn about life on the farm. I need help for a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, depending on the weather. We have a beautiful 6 hectare property in a really awesome valley. We have animals, a stream, lots of things growing. We have a large 3 bedroom house. We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe. We need help with working the land and making it as productive as we can. We need people who are hard working and take initiative. Prior experience is great but if you are a fast learner and up for a challenge then that is great too. A love of animals is definitely helpful as well. Projects include - gardening, building, organising, helping with animals, help around the house, fencing, tree planting and more. Cheers Regan and Lisa

🏔️ Stay with Us at Mt Ruapehu – Nature, Snow & Good Vibes All Year Round! 🌿❄️ Kia ora! We run a large, social backpackers lodge in the beautiful Central Plateau near Mt Ruapehu, just a short trip from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and the Whakapapa & Turoa ski fields. Whether it’s hiking in summer or snowboarding in winter, there’s always something epic to do here. 🛠️ What we ask: Help out for around 3 hours a day with general lodge tasks — this might include cleaning, garden work, odd jobs, or helping keep the place running smoothly. It’s a relaxed, friendly environment with plenty to keep you busy (and time to relax too). 🍲 Stay longer, get more: If you stay more than 1 week, we’ll supply basic food staples (you’ll cook for yourself with the other helpers). If you stay more than 3 weeks, expect a bit of special treatment – you’ll see what we mean 😉 🚗 Transport: Having a car is useful, especially in winter, but not essential — just message us first and we’ll see what we ca...

A wonderfully unique opportunity (but, not for everyone) : We're a well-established intentional community, based on mindfulness and conscious living, in the mountains between Santa Fe and ABQ, New Mexico. Music, theater, performing arts, creative projects, healthy living/wellness, meditation, spiritual growth and intentional movement are all cornerstones of our existence. We'd welcome folks interested in experiencing our community...who enjoy participating in and helping with a variety of projects in a positive and creative environment! We are always juggling a myriad of projects....and enjoy aligning the best projects with the best individuals offering to help. Hi, I am looking for one or two helpers. Luna is a well presented, blue water cruising yacht, at present in the marina at Airlie Beach. I am undertaking work to ready her for extended cruising, overseas. I live aboard the yacht, so the accommodation is onboard. Accommodation comprises of a forward double cabin, with its own bathroom. Work is varied cleaning, polishing, sewing, etc. Some mechanical work, needing an extra pair of hands. I would expect guests to help me for 4-5 hours per day. Weekends off, I would hope. In return for meals and accommodation. I enjoy sailing, fishing, diving, and bush walking, and showing of the beauty of the Whitsundays, and the Queensland coast. Weather providing. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Tim At present Luna is berthed in the marina in till the end of the month for repairs. Approximately 10 minutes' walk from Airlie.

Hello :) We are very excited to share our lovely home and farm life. We offer 4 to 5 hours per day work and experience in return for lovely homestyle meals, a warm cosy cabin with electric blankets, and of course... great company! We purchased an empty paddock over 9 years ago and slowly but surely turning it into an organic self sufficient slice of heaven. At times it all gets away on us trying to keep up with everything so we could use the extra help developing and maintaining such an awesome corner of New Zealand ...There are 5 permanent dogs here that are super friendly, we also look after dogs so there's bound to be more ready for a walk and swim in the river. There are also 3 horses, pigs and piglets, chickens, cats, cattle and sheep, rabbits and a giraffe (well, kind of!) We are not into handing over the stink jobs so have no fear, you are sure to enjoy your stay with many positive experiences and even a trip to town or two! We are 10 minutes from the gorgeous little town of Ger...

Our farm has a 2000sqm glasshouse that has a variety of strawberries, chillis and peppers that are grown using organic sprays and utilising predators under the IPM programme. We have not been on the farm very long and are learning as we go and we would love to share our experiences with others and learn off them as well. We are willing to open our home and farm to share our wonderful life to the right people that are positive and pro-active. We have 2 labrador dogs, Buddy (Chocolate Lab) Tui (Black Lab) an PJ (an amercian short haired cat) so being an animal lovers is a must. We have both travelled extensively throughout the world and we enjoy learning about other countries cultures and the awesome people in them. We are very hard workers and would appreciate any assistance that could be given. We have a large top story house that our guest share with us for general living while providing newly renovated twin airconditioned container accomadation next to the main house so you can h...

It is a conformable spring time here in Crete and the park is preparing to open. A creative period started with gardening, painting, small contraction works, for helpers that like to use their hands and enjoy the result of their creation. In May we will open for visitors again. We do welcome helpers in April for the preparation and later in the season for the function of the park. The below description is for the season, when we're getting visitors again.... Our Nature Park is a beautiful wild Cretan ecosystem with the plants and the small animals of the Island. We take care of the park with the participation of our helpers. From April till October, we guide our guests through it, exploring and learning about the Cretan Flora and Fauna. Because our guests are from different parts of the world, we need a few volunteers with different languages to communicate with them properly. The volunteers’ help with the guided tours is very important. Often we need to do some construction work or r...

Looking for Helpers right through busy summer and autumn months. Plenty going on during summer, shearing, stock work, fencing, weed control, garden tidying, lawn mowing, lots of tractor driving etc. It would be great to have some strong keen workers to help fix fences and do some building work. Our family of 4 (2 kids - 16 & 18 years old) live on a beautiful sheep and beef farm with large woodland garden and organic vegetable garden. We need help with stock work, general farming tasks, gardening, cooking etc. We're 40 minutes from Nelson, 15 minutes from Motueka. It's an idyllic rural setting with excellent access to rivers, mountains, mountain biking, Abel Tasman & Kahurangi National Parks etc. with easy access to some of the best fly fishing rivers in NZ (and the world!) There's 4-6 hours work per day depending on tasks. Plenty of flexibility to work full days and have plenty of time off to explore. Please be aware you may get hot, wet, muddy, dusty and dirty but rest assured ...

We welcome working holiday visa holders with horse experience and most importantly a passion for horses!! Your role on the farm would be helping with the daily care of our standardbred racehorses, yearlings, broodmares and stallions. Feeding, grooming, mucking out etc. Ideal helpers will be positive and willing. We enjoy meeting enthusiastic people that really want to get involved on the farm and learn how we do things. Day to day life on the farm is easy going, and we encourage our travellers to enjoy their down time exploring all the area has to offer, such as walks in the national park and rainforest or swimming in the creeks and waterfalls. There will be plenty of time for playing pool, horse riding, swimming in our indoor pool, meeting our lovely big family and getting involved in the backyard cricket matches! We...

My name is Edison I have a wife, her name is Nofi. I also have two children, Ochta (32 years old) and Fadlil (12 years old). Ochta can speak English. I run a private English school for children between the ages of 7 and 19 in the small town of Batusangkar, West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives. I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and providing them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom. All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors, and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect to answer all their questions, pose for pictures, and be invited...

I am looking for a couple of people (or one person) to stay at my place. While you are here you will be welcome to participate in our daily life, to learn about how Kiwis live. We have a large property with many apple trees, almond and peach trees, apricot and plum trees, plus lots of gardens. We have a warm, comfortable place for you to stay. It is very private and has pretty good wifi. It has a decent kitchen with a microwave + convention oven and a gas camping hob. There's a fridge freezer too. We've had people stay while they kit out a van with a bed and cupboards etc., so if this is your plan, we have numerous tools that you are welcome to use. We have a couple of ebikes you are welcome to use, and our car is available sometimes too, especially if you are looking at buying a vehicle and need to go and look at some. Otherwise, I can usually organise a ride into Christchurch or Rangiora if you need to go there. Our family is Mum, Dad and 17 year old daughter (Selah). we...

Warning we do have insects, and in the summer picking time can't take helpers who are colourblind. For ease of booking we'd prefer if you can plan on coming and going on Mondays, one week minimum stay. We are a ten mi...

We have an organic fruit tree nursery, along with many other projects on our land: several fruit orchards, chickens and bees, growing our own vegetables and herbs and trying to be independent in many ways. The six people who are staying are: Ajan, Eric, Veronique, Elisabeth, Natalie and Camille. Each of us have arrived here one by one, at first just interested in helping out in the place, and then as we found that this lifestyle was for us, deciding to stay for longer. For part of the year we also have a couple of employees staying with us. There is also a wonderful dog named Dali. Our organic nursery and garden occupies a land of 9 hectares, surrounded by forest. As well ...

We have a warm modern caravan for helpers to sleep in and all the other amenities are in the house. We have 3 awesome kids (only two live at home) and a great family vibe.

This is a Standardbred Horse stud located at the foot of the Tamborine Mountain. Located 45 minutes from Brisbane in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland.

No vacancy until end of May. We are a friendly household with a teen, a large and loud but friendly dog, 3 chickens and a small spray-free veggie garden. Our place is located adjacent to and overlooking beautiful NZ bush as well as stunning views over Wellington harbour. We split our time between our house in Lower Hutt and our bach on the Kapiti Coast about 45min North of Wellington. There is an easy train connection to Wellington from there. We are bi-lingual English/German with some rudimentary French. We have had people from Singapore, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Australia, Japan, Martinique, Italy, France, Tahiti, Malaysia, Peru, Korea, Taiwan, China, Czech Republic, Argentina, UK, Austria, USA and Catalonia stay with us and always had great fun. We require 4 hrs work from you every day, doing a variety of jobs around the house, the section (garden) and help with the animals. Work involves general housekeeping, help around the house, looking after the chickens, weeding, possibly ...

Our family is Mum, Dad and 17 year old daughter (Selah). we...
