Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We open our farm to the public in the summer to share our beautiful property and all our animals. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out of you! We want you to come to our farm as guests wanting to help with our cause of creating a place that helps people reconnect with animals and nature. Our belief is that one small act of kindness is one step closer to creating a happier planet :-) Shane:) We are looking for help with: - Daily chores which includes fe...

Hi, I am Sharom, I'm living in Melaka with my wife and 2 teenage children. I love travelling and I would be very happy to share my country and culture to friends all around the world. I have a guesthouse and hostel managed by myself and my lovely wife. My hostel is located at Kota Laksamana, Melaka A Historical City town. It is a terrace house, located in a quiet housing area with stores and restaurants (some of the famous ones are just right around here) within 1 to 5 minutes walking distance from the city centre and the river walk. Feel free to make yourself at home here! Malacca is a cycling-friendly town. You are free to use one of the bikes in the guesthouse to ride around Melaka and explore. If I have time, I'll bring and show you around what's best and fun in Melaka - enjoying it in the authentically local way! Myself and my sons sometimes helps with the general cleaning after guest checking out and then it is me and my wife who are with the control of administrative tasks a...

Our property is set in the tranquil rain forest countryside known as Pomona. We are nestled only 20 minutes from Noosa and the wonderful beaches with some of the best views, walking tracks, and mountains to climb in the region . Our property is a relaxed environment with various activities that requires daily/weekly attention. From feeding the geese and horses each day to gardening and pruning and maybe a swim after a days work. We do not have any children to look after! Ideally, we would prefer people with travelling partners (Two Friends or Couples) as we feel that they are better suited to our type of place and keep each other company. (We would also like that at least one can understand and speak some basic English). Please note, message us your HelpX details before calling. But lets not forget our motto: Eat when you are Hungry, Sleep when you are tired and Drink when you are thirsty! We hope to hear from you soon !

This is a language cafe is designed for those who are willing to meet Korean locals and the ones from overseas. We provide them with the time and the place to meet and get to know each other while have conversations in English. I know from my experience that travelling or staying in other countries is not just doing sightseeing but experiencing the real life there. Here we try to bond them together as friends. If you are looking for something that can give you a chance to meet locals and to be mingled with them, this would be the best option for you. About the program : This is about the language practice and sharing their cultures, experiences and the thoughts. As long as you are an easygoing person to talk, open-minded and fluent in English, you can join us. As we are NOT looking for English teachers, it really doesn't matter which country you're from and you don't have to teach but have a conversation in English. And basically it is a 2 way conversation so you don't have to ta...

Looking for a secluded, self-contained place in native bush by the sea? Your accommodation is a hut, a ten minute walk to the general store, a cafe, a laundromat and a tavern. There is solar power for lighting, a wood stove, a two ring gas cooker, an equipped kitchen area and an outside compost toilet, shower and hand basin. The verandah is sheltered and a very tranquil place to watch the beach and tides. We are looking for help in maintaining bushy hillside gardens that were started forty years ago by your hosts. Our vision was to help regenerate the land by planting mostly New Zealand native plants particularly those that provide food and shelter for native birds. You would work alongside the hosts for two and a half hours each weekday morning weeding, light clearing, composting and helping to maintain pathways and the organic vegetable garden followed by lunch at the hosts house. You would have afternoons, evenings and weekends to yourself. Arrangements are flexible. Standup paddle...

We have recently started a permaculture food forest. Located in a very unique subtropical microclimate similar to parts of the Big Island, Oaxaca Mexico and Australia. There is lots of Yaupon the cousin plant to Yerba Mate so if you enjoy healthy caffeine there is plenty to drink. We are focusing on growing ginger tumeric bamboo and harvested the wild Yaupon tea. Our region is beautiful because we are located in small rolling hills, the highest elevation in Florida. There is a beautiful freshwater spring you can swim at with sandy beach and amazing blue water 20mins bike ride away or 7 mins in the car. What we need help with; Chopping firewood Planting tumeric and ginger Planting harvesting and building with Bamboo Harvesting and Roasting Yaupon tea also possibly joining us at the beach farmers market when we have enough ready to sell. Building small eco earth cabins for guest and Airbnb out of bamboo wood and Cobb like materials. Trail cleaning to keep the vines from growing in w...

We live on a small property eight minutes from Kerikeri township. We have a private lake and kayaks are available to explore. We used to run a bed and breakfast here so I guess we can say we dont bite and our place is clean and comfortable. Some animals and chickens on site. Fruit when in season. Having a vehicle to explore for times when you are not working is a must and there is no public transport here. We are meat eaters. We need help now throughout the year. I have some physical limitations and require help to get on top of STUFF. We have many trees that have been felled waiting for splitting with a fuel powered machine, paths needed to be built, gardening, general gardening tools available and I am also building a cottage. Inside work for those wet days include painting, plus preparation, cleaning windows plus other general household tasks. Woodworking/carpentry skills could be an asset. There is a workshop here if you want to pursue a project. A previous couple outfitted th...

Our small farm (https://little-farm.com.au) sits in Northern Victoria, where we grow fruit and vegetables, plant trees, and learn as we go. Tim, a retired engineer, is always building or fixing something. Beth is a teacher and health practitioner who also teaches at university. She tends a rose garden of over 400 fragrant bushes. Early mornings here smell incredible. The property includes an organic vegetable garden, orchard, berries, herbs, and a music room with a baby grand piano. If you play, bring your instrument. We’re close to the Murray River. Big skies, glowing sunrises and sunsets, and rich birdlife surround us. Magpies are part of daily life here, in sound and in art across the farm. Nights are clear and full of stars. Many people arrive tired and leave feeling genuinely restored. What we’re looking for Willing, reliable help Someone who takes initiative and keeps shared spaces tidy A careful learner who asks when unsure You’ll be guided at first, then work more indepen...

Hi! I'm Tonje and I moved to my farm in 2020. And there's always a lot to do here. This small farm is in a very small town, by the fjord in Hardanger. Its a good place for hiking and culture. The area is quiet and scenic. The closest cities are Odda and Bergen. The bosses of the house are 4 dogs and 3 cats. Right now I don't have any farm animals of my own. But the neighbor's sheep live here too. I would have been very grateful for various help on my small farm. The work can be very varied. But I need help with maintenance of the outdoor area, wood working, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. I also have an airbnb, so cleaning, organize and tidying jobs are also tasks that I may need help with. Help are appreciated a lot. For your help, I can offer beautiful scenery, food and a private bedroom.

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring.A wicked sense of humor is a good asset to bring. handy to Routeburn and Greenstone tracks. You will need your own internet connection as I don't supply wifi. A bit isolated, not for the precious, no trophy hunters!! Please don't apply unless you intend to come for a minimum stay of two weeks. One person only. We do not get involved with internships or visa applications. Vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. I am off grid and totally dependent on solar, so you have to charge your devices during the day and definitely no hairdryers! Accommodation is a house bus in warmer weather or a room in the house in winter, not shared usually. Lastly I also play the guitar (badly) and sing (worse) but it's all about smile not style :-) Cheers Al

We practice regenerative agriculture (using our chickens) and focus on cover crops as well as adding micro-organisms to our soil. I am going away overseas in mid April and I now have all the help I need until then. I will be looking at Helpx again when I return to NZ at the end of May , as wifi will be intermittent, I won’t be looking at messages or planning my next work schedule until I am back in NZ. .Active lady, keen gardener and conservationist, cyclist, hiker and world traveller. I have travelled to many countries and across many continents over the last 40 years. I love the cultural exchanges and Challenges that travel brings and I am a keen explorer. My house is in Onerahi overlooking the inner harbour, mangroves and the distant hills and only 5 minutes from the vibrant town Basin. It is very peaceful and quiet and there are many things to do locally. Lots of beaches, hiking trails and cycling close by. My house is just above the walking track and cycle path that takes you in to town in one direction and out to the Onerahi Penninsula in the other. I can easily take you into town and there is also a local...

Hi, it's Stephen and Philamae here. We have a beautiful rural property in Buckland, Tasmania (45mins NE from Hobart airport). The views are stunning - the accommodation is lovely and we are running it as holiday accommodation as we move towards turning it into a funky retreat space. The experience of the place - and Tasmania as a whole - is soul stirring. Lots of beautiful animals surround us - sheep, wallabies, possums, echidnas, bunnies and the occasional deer. A pair of the endangered and majestic wedge-tailed eagles live 1km away and often soar above us. This link has a lot more photos of our place : https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1404048948970319721 The next specific needs are: a) mid May onwards. Mostly cleaning and bedrooms resetting, & some gardening. Generally we like stays of 4+ weeks but in this case we'd also be happy to host for a short time if preferred. (we have a series of 7 wellness retreats running 5 June to end August: see www.sherwoodloves.com.au/retre...

Tēnā koutou, We are a French/Algerian/Kiwi family. We moved to the North of the South Island (Te Wai Pounamou) in 2023 and live on a four hectare property where there is lots to be done. Mathew is into agroecology, permaculture and conservation. He has experience running workshops and leading work groups. Rym is interested in Indigenous knowledge, community development and the disruption of the current economic system. We speak French and English at home. You would learn about the NZ rural lifestyle, agroecology and permaculture techniques, food conservation, pest control, and probably lots more. There are a range of tasks to be done, mainly gardening, fencing work, animal care (chickens and sheep) and fire wood cutting/stacking/moving. Possibly some small renovation tasks for those with the right skills. Tasks will depend on the season and what travellers are comfortable doing, as well as what they want to learn. An awesome 2 bedroom settlers cottage, which was built in the 1860s. It ...

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY! We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in. We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast, but could do lunch in some situations. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey. Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, OneNz works just fine. - free internet available. We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if ...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of Sue's workshop/cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and one very small guest cabin. Also, there is a private guestroom with private entrance on the second floor above the workshop/cabin combination. . We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our honey bees, chickens,...

We have a helper coming to us on Sunday 24th May leaving Thursday 4th June. If you wish to join him, it's always good to have two or three. He is a carpenter so will be building a small deck for us. Our jobs require practical experience, or willingness to learn - gardening, cleaning, spraying, weed-eating, washing the house, windows etc. We don't currently have airbnb guests so you would get to stay in the luxury airbnb unless we get a booking, then you would either sleep in a sofa bed in the cabin or if you prefer your van and just use our shared spaces. We love hosting travelers and enjoy also getting jobs done on our list. With having 10 acres to care for, there is always something to do. We will give you food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work. We love having first time helpers and help you map out your journey in the north or just help you get used to being in NZ. Chris loves playing games and we also have a hot tub. Most of the time we have a beaut...

Hello! If you’re a solo traveler looking for a peaceful, safe, nature filled place to stay, we’d really love to hear from you. We currently have availability from now, with short breaks from 17th to 22nd June and from 4th to 19th July. We pause hosting from November to March because the heat and humidity make outdoor work uncomfortable — focusing on the cooler months means your stay is far more enjoyable, relaxed, and productive. 🌱 Who We Are We’re Craig and Yvonne, easy going retirees in our late sixties who’ve built our dream life on a forested acreage overlooking Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We love welcoming curious, kind, nature loving helpers into our home and creating a safe, calm, and friendly environment — especially for solo travelers who appreciate comfort and respect. 🛠️ Your Role (Flexible & Supportive) We’d like you to help us in the mornings, five flexible half days a week, with tasks you can choose from, such as: • Gardening and caring for the property • Tra...

Summer discription: besides our work on the farm we organise international workcamps, long-term stays, and voluntary work in different companies as printery, carpentry, farming, nursery If you like to learn milking cows or driving an old tractor, cutting hedges, shear sheep, build fences or throw honey, test your strength in the muck or while digging the garden - you should join us. If you find dung and greens not so interesting, we understand :-) We are a living and working community with different workshops and bio-dynamic farming in Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg. We are doing carpentry, printing, video production, publishing and distribution - it is always possible to help. Depending what you want to learn, you can help. We have four more than less old houses here in the village, so we also have to do a lot of construction work. The farming we do is not a business for us to earn money. We do it because we think farming is an important part in a holistic way of life. We have sheep, ...

My farm boarders the Paparoa National Park and only a few minutes walk to fantastic beaches. The spectacular Nile valley caves are only 5 minutes away. I prefer one person at a time, although will consider two and at least 1 weeks stay. I would like to have plenty of notice before you arrive. You must be Gay friendly.

Beautiful 56 acre mountainous property, completely off grid with a small hardwood house /cottage that I have built using milled wood from trees on the property , with lovely views everywhere . Also doing a lot work to improve the land and infrastructure. There are over 4 kilometers of walking trails through gorgeous forest, on this completely vegan property, with mountainous views all over ranging from 150 to 230 meters above sea level. The beautiful forest trails have old growth national park like forest at the very top. Lots of wildlife to see , with all kinds of exotic birds , including families of black cockatoo’s which live here in the pine’s, and beautiful little kingfisher birds, yellow robins, willy wagtails and kookaburras to name a few. We have recently found koalas living on the property in the flooded gum trees, with many wallabies and goanna’s are everywhere in summer ! Lots of lovely contemplative spots to relax , .

This is an exciting opportunity to have an experience that will stay with you throughout your life. Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start sometime between mid-May and the end of June and commit to at least 8 weeks . We are ceramic artists who live on our 1 hectare property about 20km inland from the beautiful Doubtless Bay area. We run our pottery business from home and look after our organic gardens, small orchard and numerous chickens. We have traveled widely ourselves and hosted travelers for over 10 years with another organisation, so are interested in HelpX for both the cultural exchanges and to be able to share our lifestyle with others while getting some help around the property.

It is very peaceful and quiet and there are many things to do locally. Lots of beaches, hiking trails and cycling close by.

Hello, i would be happy for help. There is a lot to do on this place, mostly in the garden. Technical help, e.g. installation of solar panel, building a greenhouse, renovation of an old cattle house would also be needed. A carpenter and a bricklayer would be also great. We are vegetarian ! :-) We are a couple in our best age, and are here since 5 years. We want to build a small place for meditation and Qi Gong here. We want this to become a place for living and coming together. We would be happy to meet you.
