We live on a sheep and beef farm 35 minutes east of Masterton, 15 minutes from Riversdale beach and 25 minutes from Castlepoint beach. We HAVE MOVED to a new property near the sea in West Clare, Ireland (reviews are mostly for previous property in East Clare). The new property in the countryside, on 32 acres of farmland, where an estuary tide comes in to the edge of our garden twice daily. We are 2 miles from the seaside village of Kilkee; on the Loop Head Peninsula - a staggering beautiful part of the world. Shannon airport is the nearest airport. We are a 50 minute drive to Ennis and 80 minute drive to Limerick. There are regular buses from Kilkee, to Ennis and beyond.. Helper accommodation is in a separate mobile home, occasionally shared with other helpers. You'll have a private room (bedding provided) with electricity, gas, and a kitchen, toilet & shower room. We joined Landcare to better understand the local trees and wildlife, especially the ones that need a bit of extra protection. French Chateau under renovation in quiet rural location, close to local village. There are chickens here and some times of the year also cows. The forest is the backyard. There are beautiful views of the town and the valley from home. The house is very big and well accommodated. You'll have your own room and bathroom. And there are two living rooms. The town is really friendly. We collaborate in a creative workshop where you can go and do all the activities you can imagine. This school was established in 1975 and is a family run School. We are based in Uttaradit/Thailand and have about 600 pupils. The school teaches children from Kindergarten (3-5 years old) to Secondary School (15 years old). We need Volunteers who would like to teach basic English or basic Chinese. This Spring we will have a separate small, clean, warm, comfortable space available. We move irrigation pipe to water the hay fields in the morning and evening. We have horses that are needing training/riding and have a large garden that needs tending. We are a busy family of 6, with 3 adult children and a 7 year old child. We live 25 minutes away from the town of Williams lake and there is someone in the family driving in and out daily. The Cariboo Chilcotin is a culturally rich area with 17 different Native Bands in the area. The main industry here is logging with two mines in the area as well. Ranching, and outdoor activities like dirtbiking sledding, quadding and mountain biking are very popular here. Our back yard is one of the favourite areas for down hill mountain biking. We're fairly easy going and like having the opportunity to make new friends and share the experiences our ranch offers.
