Hi :-) I'm currently looking for someone to live in my house for 5 days next week from Wednesday the 28th may to Monday the 2nd June. I will be away out of town so you will have the whole house for yourself. I would just love someone to look after my cat, and clean windows and cobwebs in the house.

My husband Matthias and I, Johanna, came from Germany as backpackers in the 1980s. We met here in NZ, but our home language is German. We are a family with 8 children and 5 grandchildren - 4 living at home (1 of them home-schooling, 3 working). And our oldest son with his wife and 4 young boys have moved back to our property, - now living in our cottage. Sadly, my husband passed away in January 2024 after a short time of intense illness. Our lifestyle block is home to a gaggle of geese, a flock of domestic ducks, around 40 chickens, 10 sheep and a few young male goats, - and of course many wild birds, rabbits and the tiny creatures of fields, woods and duck-pond. An old apple, apricot and peach orchard and a young walnut grove are also part of our little paradise. Amazingly, though situated just off SH1, our place affords a cosy sense of privacy, as it nestles behind a bank with a stand of old pine tree, and is lined with a shelter-belt of poplar trees along the rest of its boundarie...

We are currently looking for a volunteer for mid to end July. My husband and I are taking part in the Italian Crazy Rally. Seven days to cross Italy from west to east and from the Stelvia pass to the southern point of Sicily - on 50cc scooters! We would like some help at home while we're away. Our 22 year old daughter will be home to look after her brother. We would like a volunteer that can help her, by taking him for walks in the forest and supervising some of his meals. Depending on your skills and interests you can also help with the dogs or household tasks. Feel free to contact us for more information. We live in a villa in a medieval hilltop village in Italy. It's a quiet village with a piazza with a fountain supplying fresh spring water and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and villages. In June we usually have a lovely display of fireflies and in the mid summer the village comes alive with people, music and events in the piazza. It will suit nature lovers. A stone ...

We run a well-known organic market garden in the Alpes Maritime, right on the Riviera coast and the Italian border. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and popular with tourists. Our garden is on mountain terraces above the town, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 to the old town. Access is easy by train or bus from Nice or Italy. For the next 5 months we are looking for hands-on and experienced support with a number of urgent tasks. This could be a paid situation for an experienced person willing to contract for the season which ends 30 September. The work includes sowing, planting, fertilising, harvesting for market, basic landscaping, fencing, irrigation repair and DIY/maintenance and will probably best suit a fit and younger male helper. We may also take 1 or 2 experienced volunteers for shorter periods. As a produce grower, our crops include organic lemons, oranges, avocados, vegetables. Leaf crops and herbs. These we sell at a combination of local market, hig...

We are a community project under construction. Our vision is to create a place with organic farming, educational tourism and crafts. A lively place where vegetables, wine and oil are produced, knowledge about sustainability is exchanged and recreation can be found. We live in a shared house with 5 adults and 2 Kids. Our farm dog lives outside. We also have Chicken and Ducks. Your work with us can be varied due to the many fields of activity. It could involve caring for vines or olive trees, putting up fences, cleaning the guest spaces, planting gardens, renovation work, demolition work and everyday housework. Our creative process is always producing new work. Of course, we can decide together which work is suitable for you and matches your skills. You can ask what work is currently available. If you have manual skills, you can also work on your own projects, as we have space for many ideas. We offer good food and good vibes in the Chianti Shure :)

Namaste! Thank you for stopping by. :-) I hope you will join me on my journey for a month, 2 months, or long-term. I have a pair of picturesque, riverfront hobby farms, each with a large 4-bedroom house. I am transitioning the farms to more of a communal space with plans for an ashram/yoga retreat in one of the houses. There are three acres of wild blueberries that I want to convert to organic production, six acres of pasture, and about eight acres of woods that provide more than enough firewood to heat both homes without having to clear-cut any areas. I have a small herd of alpacas and an even smaller flock of chickens, whom I allow to free range. In the past, we harvested a small portion of our food from the property, and my vision is to increase that slowly and steadily every year. Some of the new areas of activity that I want to undertake (once the right long-term partners/cohabitants are found) are: -bee-keeping (which will also help pollinate the blueberry field) -developing b...

**For fast response please contact mobile through WhatsApp/ Telegram. We're on the island of La Palma, west of Tenerife, reachable by direct flights and boats and cheap connections from Tenerife or mainland Spain. Ask for travel advice! The project is set in a dramatic location surrounded by nature with panoramic views out to the sea and the UNESCO preserved coastline where there are beaches, ports and hikes all accessible from the project by walking. There's also hikes up into the mountains and Forrest above us. A little about me; I travelled on a low budget for several years throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and parts of Africa often working in seasonal positions, like in fruit orchards, to sustain my travels. I began to spend more and more time in many wonderful places though volunteering in farms and eventually I came to the decision that I wanted to create a little Eden too; Somewhere I didn't have to leave and where I could put my own personal roots in the grou...

ENVIRONMENTAL AND ORGANIC PROJECT ON A MOUNTAIN AND A COASTAL FARM - Open to couples and individuals from April to October This summer season (April to October), we are going to focus on infrastructure and buildings, imcluding the total renovation of two small cabins, drainage ditches, farm roads, bush clearing and fences. We welcome carpenters and people who are fit for work outside. If you are a licenced professional, we can talk about additional privileges. We now also have an all-year opening for help with cooking, household chores and taking care of guests. We purchased an old mountain valley farm (Skogmo gård) and moved here in December 2016. Here we make dry hayballs for horses and other domestic animals. We also have another farm without buildings, located on the Malangen fjord, where we do small-scale potatoes, vegetables and berries. We aim to try various organic, environmental-friendly and regenerative ways of operating a farm, and in time produce everything we need. ...

My brother Pradeep runs a small money exchange office in Thamel, which is about a 20 minutes direct walk from our home. Our home is located in a very safe and peaceful residential area called Gongabu Town Planning, Gongabu. We belong to the Newar ethnic group, who are the indigenous people of Kathmandu Valley. NB - just in case you don't get to the end of the profile - we are vegetarian (mostly) - and we don't take picky eaters. - or smokers - and it is cold in Dunedin in the winter. We are terracing a steep section (with an amazing view), developing a fernery and planting out an orchard and native hedges. There are fantails and keruru in abundance. Though the development is sometimes hard work, it`s creative and fun. We are getting there but we could do with a bit of help from strong fit people whose knees can handle walking up and down a steep garden - usually with a load on.. We also have work repairing and painting garden furniture. We prefer hosting a couple or 2 friends who are keen gardeners - or have carpentry or brick laying skills - to help with garden maintenance. We also have a couple of hard-landscaping projects involving path construction and maintenance. Ideally, we would like people who are able to work with minimal supervision, who take pride in their work and want to do...

CURRENTLY SEEKING A SINGLE MALE / FEMALE or COUPLE, but please feel free to ask if you have some availability either now or in the future. A MINIMUM COMMITMENT of at least one month is required please. It takes about 2 weeks to settle in and learn things plus shorter stays do not allow you to fully experience all that is on offer in our beautiful area. Katie and I own a small crofting home in the rural heart of the Scottish West Highlands in a tiny village called Lochailort and we need help all year round. A good understanding of the English language is essential. This location is not ideal for improving or learning English, as interaction with us and others can be limited. We are always looking for willing, reliable, pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic volunteers :) Please whatsapp our mobile number or leave a message here if you are interested in a placement with us. Bonjour !

We live on Vancouver Island, not in the city of Vancouver. A ferry from the mainland or a direct flight into Victoria is the best way to get here. It takes about half a day to get from Vancouver city to us in Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. We live in a suburban development in a rural setting. Shawnigan Lake is 45 minutes north from Victoria. I am a single mom with 2 teen girls. The school year is coming to an end, the grass grows quick, and there are home maintenance tasks to be done. Yardwork and housework is what I need help with. Now that the warm weather is here, we enjoy going for walks and visiting other island locales. Or playing games, watching movies, reading and crafting. In summer, we enjoy swimming at the lake, relaxing in the yard and hot tub, walking in the woods, cycling on the Trans-Canada Trail, making music around the campfire, keeping cozy and reading on the couch and exploring the amazing, innovative initiatives the Cowichan Valley is quickly becoming known...

We sometimes have up to 35 pelgrims staying, divided into 3 shared and 5 private rooms. In high season, more than 250 pilgrims pass every day, after sometimes having walked for more than 2 weeks. Please join us at our home in the Cairngorm National Park in the Highlands of Scotland and help us with various outdoor seasonal jobs to include gardening, grass cutting, routine maintenance and housework including holiday rental turnarounds. You will also get the opportunity to learn about foraging and gin making and depending on the time of year we may need help in making up our Christmas gifting range in the Distillery. There is a good social life here not only with the other volunteers but also our friends and family who often visit and you are Wilkins to join in any fun activities! The Cairngorm National Park has amazing scenery and is perfect for outdoor pursuits with many being on our doorstep. In the summer we often go paddle boarding, canoeing, wild swimming, cliff jumping, hiking and mountain biking (there is an amazing downhill mountain bike centre behind our house). In the winter there is the option of down bill skiing.

This is a beautiful organic farm set in the spectacular mountains outside Algatocin, south of Ronda, 2 hours from Malaga. We run it as a working olive farm and rent out a gorgeous Mongolian yurt and recently restored 'casita' to nature-loving guests from around the world. My husband, Nacho, is from Malaga and I am from Bermuda. We speak Spanish with each other and generally English or French with our guests. We are easy-going, fun-loving adventurers and love travel and meeting inspiring, insightful new people. Our guests tend to be very cultured, extremely well- travelled, well-read and interesting folk. Any volunteer who comes needs to appreciate that and the level of care and attention we provide our guests given they have chosen our home as a very special holiday location for rest and recuperation as well as for exploring the Andalusian countryside and its great architectural and cultural wonders. You can see the accommodation for our paying guests at : https://www.airbnb.co.uk/...

Summer discription: besides our work on the farm we organise international workcamps, long-term stays, and voluntary work in different companies as printery, carpentry, farming, nursery If you like to learn milking cows or driving an old tractor, cutting hedges, shear sheep, build fences or throw honey, test your strength in the muck or while digging the garden - you should join us. If you find dung and greens not so interesting, we understand :-) We are a living and working community with different workshops and bio-dynamic farming in Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg. Hola tod@s! My place is an old grain mill with half a hectare of land. I live here for more than 15 years. Work is mostly in the garden. Weeding, digging, planting, watering, harvesting and off course eating. There is a big cat family living on the land. Help in the kitchen is welcome. Special dietary requirements must be met by the helpers. In the area there are many activities possible. More yoga teachers than there are students, meditations, dancing, singing,....! Many communities of all sorts. Hiking in all directions. Even skiing starting beginning of Decemeber. I try to keep a healthy environment, so no drugs that cloud your spirit. No dogs either. People mostly stay between one and two weeks. Work is about 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Food and lodging included. Flexible. Work depends on peoples abilities. Any questions? Always happy to explain!

We have lived on our farm for 4 years now, a 26 acre small holding in the beautiful south hams area of South Devon about 10 minutes drive to Dartmoor and 25 minutes to the beach and close to the amazing and very alternative and interesting town of Totnes. We are in need of a hand in getting things working efficiently- so many jobs and so little time! This could include helping to work on the old barn and make it into a better space to work in (any carpentry/building type skills would be amazing). Then we have poultry (chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese) and 40 pigs to look after/muck out/sort pens and houses plus lots to do in the vegetable area. We are attempting to build a lovely shapely toilet block for potential campers and need to erect a garden potting shed etc. etc. We would like to build a Cob and glass greenhouse (subject to getting planning approval) too so anyone who fancies building with cob would be welcome. The vision is to keep working with farming practices that supp...

We aim to try various organic, environmental-friendly and regenerative ways of operating a farm, and in time produce everything we need. ...

By doing this you will be introduced to a plethora of brand new experiences in an authentic Nepalese environment; rich with culture. An additional plus will be the warm and welcoming Nepalese hospitality at its best within our home. My brother Pradeep runs a small money exchange office in Thamel, which is about a 20 minutes direct walk from our home. This is only the second school in Nagarkot, nice Nepalese village in Bhaktapur district; a 1.5 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu. It hopes to provide an English medium education for underprivileged children. The school has 7 staff members taking care of its 80+ students - aged from 4 to 12 years old - and would benefit from any help volunteers can provide. Volunteers can expect to as class helpers and also share teaching tips with the school if they can.

In northern Spain, on the CAMINO DE SANTIAGO, we are running an albergue/ hostel for pilgrims, for the 8th year in 2025. It is located right ón the original Camino Primitivo, so pilgrims will pass here on their way to Santiago de Compostela. If you want to be a part of a wonderful Camino-experience in 2025 (apr - okt), please read on.. ABOUT US..: Between beautiful mountain slopes, the albergue/ hostel is situated in the heart of the small pueblo of Salas (Asturias). We sometimes have up to 35 pelgrims staying, divided into 3 shared and 5 private rooms. In high season, more than 250 pilgrims pass every day, after sometimes having walked for more than 2 weeks. Some of them will stop to relax and regain their energy. We'll support them with healthy home-made food, fresh drinks and a big smile. We will offer them a vegetarian communal diner in the evening (for which we have great reviews!!) and an energy-boosting breakfast in the morning. Some of it is donation-based (no charge), s...

We are doing carpentry, printing, video production, publishing and distribution - it is always possible to help. Depending what you want to learn, you can help. We have four more than less old houses here in the village, so we also have to do a lot of construction work. The farming we do is not a business for us to earn money. We do it because we think farming is an important part in a holistic way of life. We have sheep, ...

We are all volunteering a lot: since 2009, we organize the Quebec International Mask Festival. Our home is in the countryside, there are trails for walking, cross-country-skiing and cycling.

Needing help with keeping the grounds beautiful, repairs, building projects, harvesting, weeding, pruning, planting, and animal care. Near a busy village, bicycles offered, canoes, there are buses to take you around the island, hiking, swimming, artisans, markets. Sunsets are wonderful. The seaside Jewel is a private sleeping cabin with a bathhouse and kitchen nearby. The bathhouse has a large tub, and a shower, all under a glass roof. The kitchen has an eating area, and a new bay window to cook and wash dishes. The exchange is ideally for 2 people to volunteer 3 hrs. per day with organic food supplied. The work involves cleaning up after the horses and sheep for 1 hour, then 2 hours of various projects. Salt Spring is a wonderful busy island with lots of activities year round. The farm is a nice peaceful escape from it all. The island ...
