Stay with us by a beautiful lake, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the sunrise from our beach, disconnect from the noise, become more sustainable, feel the essence of nature and climb the volcano where we live. We are looking for self-sufficient and collaborative individuals to join our team of four volunteers dedicated to maintaining and guarding the property. We offer a straightforward exchange: your work in return for food. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, I could always do with an extra pair of hands. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. Current projects (weather dependent) include: 1. tidying toolshed 2. move garden shed 3. create car port I offer accommodation and meals included in return for help normally 5 days a week. After a week I'm happy to give a day tour of the battlefields ... Phone number (what's app) available on request. 😁 Hello dear all ! it would be great if someone or a couple would like to come from beginning of September onwards to help with work in the garden, and enjoy a beautiful time for themselves. The gardening year is slowly changing, and there is lots to do, prepare and enjoy before autumn and winter comes. Here are the details: Our lovely old farm house with two adorable cats named Mosquito & Findus/Findelita (because she's of such happy nature and smily one.--) in a nature protected area is looking for helping hands and like-minded spirits to share a great time out in nature and the garden. Bushes and trees must be cut back, the gardening beds prepared, gras cut, finalising the amphibia pond, Firewood cutting (on and off), and eventually the walnuts harvested sometime in October. People familiar with these kind of things will have preference. Our house is located about 900m above sea level. It provides a nice breeze in hot summers to chill and stay cool in the mountains while it`s...

LOOKING FOR 2 PEOPLE FROM APPROX 3 SEPTEMBER FOR A WEEK. In return for 4 hours help a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond. Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine. My 40 ha property is a sheep/beef farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 30,000) which contests the annual sunshine re...

IMPORTANT: If I offer you a stay here, I will keep the spot open for you in 2 days from the date you read it. No response, I will be free to offer it to someone else. Now for the fall, winter and early spring we look for - somebody who can help making firewood. - someone who can do carpentry and/or painting indoors. - general help with animals and daily tasks. - someone who would like to teach/speak Italian. Of course not in the same person, so tell me what you could do. Staying long term is a Pluss. This is a link to the area : https://www.visitnorway.no/reisemal/sorlandet/farsund-lista/ I own a small farm, surrounded by forest and natural pastures for animals; at the farm there are horses, goats, poultry and we grow stuff in the kitchen-garden. Help on a Vineyard & Family Farm – Awatere Valley, Marlborough We’re a family-run vineyard and hill-country farm, located just 20 minutes south of Blenheim, 3 km from State Highway 1, and 5 minutes from the rural township of Seddon — right in the heart of Marlborough’s scenic Awatere Valley. The property includes a working 40-hectare Sauvignon Blanc vineyard, a hill-country farm, a small orchard, and developing gardens around our off-grid Passivhaus homestead. We're on a journey toward self-sufficiency — growing more of our own food, regenerating parts of the farm with native plants from our own nursery, and installing solar to power our vineyard. We live on the property that’s been in Pip’s family for three generations. Our children’s great-grandparents worked this land. Pip grew up here, and Duncan comes from a farming background in the UK. We have two children (14 and 16), and a lively mix of animals including chickens, pigs, 2 friendly family labradors, and a retired farm dog. Over...

I started a permaculture project in one of the most beautiful areas of the Sierra de Gata (Extremadura, Spain). It needs some volunteers, people willing to contribute with their effort in exchange for a lot of learning and good experience. The project is located in a 1.3ha estate full of olive trees, pines, oaks and berry bushes. There is also a creek with swimming areas, little ponds and waterfalls that crosses the land. The project involves: - The construction of a half-buried, bioclimatic, spiral shaped house made of stone and hyper-adobe and green cover following natural shapes. - Restoration of farmland and terraces typical of the area. - Creation of an edible forest. - Grow and maintain a vegetable garden. - Reforestation of the environment with native species. - Recovery of the banks of the river. - Implementation of renewable energy systems and auto construction techniques. The objectives of the project are: to know the human being that we are in its entirety. Appro...

Hello Potential Volunteers My name is Paul and it was my dream to change my lifestyle from being an office worker to becoming an alpaca farmer.... here we are 14 years later with 100 alpacas, each individually cherishes with names and unique personalities, plus an assortment of other animals all needing our love :) I have three children: Liam (21), Dylan (9) and Oscar (6), and our 100-acre farm is home to approx.100 alpacas, plus llamas, peacocks, hens, mini pigs, a cat named Sexy, and our farm dog Malta. This year we are expecting 20 'cria' (baby alpacas) and each one will need our help so they can thrive! We need to ensure they get colostrum (filled with antibodies and vital for good health) – have they fed from their mums within the first 24hrs? Are they then drinking enough milk from their mums every day? Are they gaining weight? The well-being of my animals is the most important thing on the farm. Do they have good food and enough water, and the best possible natural environme...

This is a very healthy warm dry desert climate, where viruses do not thrive. At our farm here in the Coachella Valley we grow 6 varieties of dates; Medjool, Barhi, Khadrawi, Khalas, Halawi & Zahidi....and we also have young plantings of Jamaican plums. Tasks include irrigation, pruning, picking, fertilizing, pollination, clean-up, compost, trenching, house cleaning, road repair. We clean our soaking pools regularly and the farm could use the help of an electrician, and also someone with adequate videography and editing skills and also automotive repair skills. The hot springs is located in a very remote setting in the Coachella Valley of the southern California desert about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Los Angeles, or 50 miles southeast of Palm Springs, just off highway 111, in the morning shadow of the Chocolate Mountains, overlooking the middle of the Salton Sea, with the warmest winter climate in the western U.S.A. No pets but plenty of wild creatures about; deer, bighorn sheep, ow...

A little about me; I travelled on a low budget for several years throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and parts of Africa often working in seasonal positions, like in fruit orchards, to sustain my travels. I began to spend more and more time in many wonderful places though volunteering in farms and eventually I came to the decision that I wanted to create a little Eden too; Somewhere I didn't have to leave and where I could put my own personal roots in the grou...

Are you looking for somewhere to have unique experiences? We have hosted lots of helpers over the years, and love the different people we have met. We enjoy the cultural exchange and look forward to meeting you. We are a family with two kids, on a small farm with some sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and horses on the banks of the Macquarie River, at Narromine, in central NSW. We have a comfortable 4 bedroom house and will provide all meals and accommodation in exchange for help with a variety of tasks, a bit of gardening, house work, cooking and general light farm duties. In winter we usually spend time checking and fixing the fences, collecting firewood, controlling weeds, as well as maintaining the vegetable garden and new orchard. Happy for people who love animals and outside work to contact us. Also looking for some farm and house work help too. We try to grow everything that we eat so we have an extensive veggie garden and orchard if you like working in nature! If you like soccer ...

Sorry folks, but we are now fully booked until the beginning of March 2026. We are taking booking for March thru November 2026 *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. Within easy traveling distance for those interested in exploring this culturally rich island, is the seaside town of Cefalù or even the main capital city of Palermo, both are easily accessible by bus and train from the local town. We work daily on various homesteading tasks, tree pruning, harvesting organic fruits, olives, almonds, grapes, fence maintenance, cleaning the garden, sorting out irrigation systems, and all the normal ‘life in the country stuff. Because of the organic nature of our land, you will encounter the odd spider and ‘creepy crawly’ when working outside, so w...

Just 10 minutes from Lismore and 5 mins from the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, our elevated, 9 hectare property at Rock Valley, is also within easy reach of the Border Ranges National Park and the coast. The farm, known as Curly Flats, is a long-term project to improve local biodiversity, and supports a growing population of amazing native wildlife. We share an interest in landcare, creative arts and community with a diverse network of nearby friends, and are experienced in bush regeneration practices, and propagation. Very grateful for any help we can get, we do love the opportunity to share others' skills and experience, and taking time to get acquainted. The workload is variable depending on the weather and season, but generally fun, not very demanding and usually followed by morning tea. Accommodation is a fully restored, air-conditioned cottage, located 50 metres from the main house.

I prefer longer stays with a minimum of 15 days. Your room will be in the main house, sometimes shared with another helper (depending on how many helpers will be here at the same time), there will also be a shared bathroom. Keep in...

Come and learning how to play with the plants. We are looking for apprentice/ helpers from now until the end of November (weather dependent). We prefer helpers who can stay for at least 8 weeks, though depending on our needs and the time of year we will consider a shorter stay. We are a small market garden, providing vegetables, berries, herbs and edible flowers to our Local food Co-op, a retail farmers market, restaurants and families in the Nelson area. My husband and I have been running the market garden for 13 years. Gardening experience is not essential; we prefer a desire and willingness to learn. There is room for your inspiration and creativity here. If you have an interest in guiding and teaching others you can take on various challenges in the leaderships aspects of the garden operation.

**For fast response please contact mobile through WhatsApp/ Telegram. We're on the island of La Palma, west of Tenerife, reachable by direct flights and boats and cheap connections from Tenerife or mainland Spain. Ask for travel advice! The project is set in a dramatic location surrounded by nature with panoramic views out to the sea and the UNESCO preserved coastline where there are beaches, ports and hikes all accessible from the project by walking. There's also hikes up into the mountains and Forrest above us.

We have space available from the 20th September for up to 3 people. We have three small cabins, two with a double bed and one with a single bed so room for three helpers at the moment..All the helpers share a kitchen and bathroom. We are taking booking for March thru November 2026 *** Our beautiful countryside homestead (only 5 acres so not really a farm) is in the mountainous hills above the historic castle town of Caccamo, Sicily. It is surrounded scraggy mountains and long valley walks. It is perfect for hiking or just relaxing in the sun with a good book.

In return you will have your own self-contained, private, peaceful accommodation, with en-suite, washing machine, kitchen and verandah with beautiful views of rural land and Tasman Bay. Wifi, power and water included plus food allowance. You must be physically strong, hard-working, practical and fit, and not afraid of getting your hands dirty. Beautiful hill country sheep and cattle farm, with views of the sea and mountains. You must enjoy working with animals, be kind, respect and care for them. There is plenty to do all year around and depends on the season. We offer plenty of general farm work experience, gardening, fire-wood splitting, weed-spraying and or grubbing. There are always fencing and construction projects if this suits you too. The vegetable garden is organic and I use permaculture methods where possible. Only non-smoking, drug-free helpers please....
